Showman said as he walked on stage "AND ITS IS ALSO OUR SECOND MARVERL VS DC MATCH! IN THE RED CORNER REPRESENTING MARVEL COMICS THE RAGING CAJUN HIMSELF GAMBIT!" Showman said as Gambit walked out smiling "AND IN THE BLUE CORNER REPRESENTING DC COMICS THE THIRD ROBIN: TIM DRAKE!" Showman announced at Time Drake walked out twirling his own staff. "Let's see how these two warrior due in the arena" Showman said as he walked off

Gambit vs Robin

"So this is the famous Wayne Manor, I wonder what treasures are in there?" a voice asked as someone picked the lock to the front door and let themselves in. "Don't mind if I be helping myself to some of these fine fortunes he has" the voice said as he picked up and old vase, only for a red blade to impact right where his hand was.
"Watch those hands thief" a hooded figure said as he walked into the light
"Oh so cute, on of the big bard birdies" the thief said "So Robin, come to play?" he asked twirling his staff
"I Have, Gambit" Robin said pulling his out.
LET BATTLE COMMENCE!
Robin jumped at Gambit trying and overhead attack on the thief, who used his staff to block it before swinging it around and kicking him in the stomach making the boy wonder recoil. Growling Robin drew out a birdarang and threw it at gambit's head forcing the thief to flip backwards to dodge it, then he reached behind him and drew out a hand of card
"I'm in no mood for poker" Robin said
"So sorry twiderly dee" Gambit smirked energizing the card, which he threw at Robin,
"Like that will" Robin started only to be blown back by the card blowing up near Robin who was thrown into a wall. Staggering around for a bit when Gambit swept him off his feet with his staff and kicked him in the head as he went down. Rolling to the side, Robin twirled his own staff and used it to block Gambit's, making the Cajun thief smirk Robin then slammed his foot into Gambit's stomach, making the thief stumble back giving the Sidekick a chance to perform a jump spinning kick making Gambit stumble, growling Gambit reached behind his back and threw out several energised cards forcing Robin to deploy the shield hidden in his staff to block the blast, making him fly into the clock that guards one of the entrances to the batcave. Getting up Robin deactivated his shield and twirled his staff, and tried to attack Gambit who blocked it several times, seeing that it was getting him no where Robin threw down a smoke bomb blinding Gambit.
While coughing Gambit looked around
"Now then where is cock robin?" he asked as he looked around, he was then struck in the back by Robin who moved quickly to strike him on the side. "Tricky bird" he smirked
"What is it you want?" Robin asked
"Oh you know something sparkly, something colourful" Gambit said before pulling out a stolen birdarang and threw it in the air making it explode dispelling the smoke "Something codey"
"What codes?" Robin asked as he rushed in, only to be kneed in the gut by Gambit, leading to him being thrown into the clock which moved to the side
"So this is where he keeps the toys huh?" Gambit asked.
"DON'T YOU" Robin shouted only to be blasted away by one of Gambit's card.
Once he was in the cave Gambit headed for the Batcomputer and started to type something in before plugging a USB in a slot
"Downloading codes now, think I can take that batmobile"
"DON'T THINK SO!" Robin shouted landing into a roll so he did a jump kick into Gambit, knocking him back. Getting up Gambit just shrugged and punched him in the face twice leading into a roundhouse kick finishing with a flip. Groaning Robin got up and drew out some birdarangs and threw them at Gambit who dodged or deflected them until the last one stuck in his staff, exploding to break it in two "oops" Robin smirked kicking the broken staff pieces out of Gambit's hands.
"No worries" Gambit smirked blinding Robin with his coattails, allowing the master thief get in some quick punches in before flipping Robin over his shoulder. Robin landed on his back with a grunt, giving Gambit time to grab a pair of escrima sticks and twirled them. Getting back up Robin twirled his staff and ran at Gambit who simply side stepped, whacking him on the back of the head before bowing; a snarl exited Robin's lips as he tried again. This time each staff strike was countered by the sticks.
"Sorry birdy but play time is over" Gambit smirked as he pulled out the cards to make a royal flush in the suite of Spade, the card player smirked as he threw the cards at Robin, making him skid back near a massive coin as the computer beep. Smirking Gambit threw a charged Escrima stick just above the coin while he raced over to the computer and grab the USB stick "but" he said as the stick exploded making the coin tip over covering Robin in shadow before he tried to get out of the way, only to collapse as his leg was badly damaged, leading to him becoming a massive pool of blood "Heads I win" he said as he walked over to the batmobile when his phone rang "Ah Logan just the man I was about to call, oui Good old Remy got the codes" Gambit started as he got in the batmobile and drove off.
VICTORY ACHIEVED!
"Ouch, that's all I can say. Now while Robin has been trained by one of the greatest minds of all time and had exceptional skills, Gambit was something Robin wasn't; a mutant giving him a slight edge; now Robin could have easily countered that last hand with a birdarang or his shield, and it may not seem like it he was angered that someone was able to get into the batcave and hack into its computer. Now the codes that Gambit took were the ones that Logan could use to get into the watchtower. Now join us next time where two boys, one a mage the other and assassin goes head to head and sees if we can be taught" the Showman said "So join us next time in Exhibit Arena and have a good time wherever you are" he said walking off.
G'day Guys Grizz here so another lost for the DC characters against the X-men, hey I'm not bias okay maybe a little but the Batman series is one of my favourite series from DC up there with Green Arrow, now I could have gone for Nightwing vs Gambit but I've seen that done by Superpower beat down and Time Drake is known for fighting with a staff, so easy match up but I have to say I did chuckle a bit when I came up with the coin for the death, I'm sure I had a different pun for it but that one was what I wrote
