Chapter 1: The Entrance Exam

Hello everyone. Here we go with Chapter 1. I'm ready to kick this into high gear. As usual, I don't own My Hero Academia. Any story ideas are mine.

We now peek into the first fateful meeting of everyone at the Entrance Exams. This is where the world of infinite possibilities throws us a curve ball. It starts with Midoriya outside of UA for the entrance exams. What he doesn't know is fate has a way of changing the person you run into literally.

Midoriya was on his way to the entrance exam. Trying to not be late at all. He didn't want any sort of tardiness to reflect badly on his chances of getting in. I need to make sure I know how to control this quirk. This quirk was just presented to him not too long ago by All Might. Midoriya didn't know the limits this quirk had or how to use it for certain. He was trying to remember how All Might told him to use his quirk. He was totally focused in on how his quirk could set to use. He didn't notice that there was somebody two feet in front of him.

Midoriya felt his body run into something. He got out of his train of thought and had fallen back. He ended up on the ground hurting from his collision. He shook his head to try and get away from the pain. When he finally opened his eyes, he looked up to see that he had ran into another person. This person was a girl.

"Hey, watch where you are going. There are other people who are walking through here, you know," said the girl. This girl had black hair with some of it up in a knot. She wore a simple red shirt and plaid dress. She was walking in black shoes. She seemed to be hurting pretty bad, but she was able to function. Midoriya was in shock knowing he had accidentally run into a girl. He was speechless, let alone motionless, at the sight of this girl. He wanted to run home and hide, but his body was acting differently. He quickly got up off the ground and proceeded to help the girl up by reaching out his hand. "Sorry….Um…let…me…h. …y-y-y-yyyyoooooouuuu… up," he stuttered.

The girl looked up and saw that Midoriya was being sincere in his apology and authentic in helping her. She took his hand and got up. "Um…Thank you. Actually, I should've looked where I was going just as much. You know this test is crazy. I'm kind of worried about it. So, you can understand my nerves, right," she asked with no answer from the boy, " Okay, I'll take that as a yes. Well, I better get going. I'll see ya in there," she said. The girl started to run into the building without looking back.

Midoriya was shocked at the events that had taken place. "I….I..I talked to a girl," he shouted excitedly (No, he didn't still in this universe). The boy got up and started to dust himself off. He looked at the time on his phone. He saw that he didn't have much time left. He got up and ran into the school building, barely making it in time for the exam.

Meanwhile…

Ochaco was crossing the campus at about the same time that Midoriya was crossing paths with the other girl. She had noticed that the girl and the guy had run into each other. She was willing to go and help them out, but she saw the boy getting up and helping the girl out. Ochaco just shrugged and kept going towards the school. She was mostly thinking about how hard this exam would be for her, but she knew why she was doing this exam. I'm going to become a famous hero so that I can provide for my family and that they can have a better way of life. She looked focus to do her best in the exam. She proceeded up the steps and went inside.

Over next to the entrance in the shadows, was a bird headed boy by the name of Fumikage Tokoyami. He was chilling waiting on going into the building to do his exam. He was ready to become a great hero. He saw the time was drawing near and went inside as well.

Meanwhile, There was a multi-limbed boy heading into the building, focused on taking his exam with a certain, frog faced girl entering not far behind them. Everyone of these people hoping to become a pro hero.

As we can see, because Midoriya was so focused on the quirk and the entrance exams, he ended up running into a different girl that day. Uraraka didn't get her chance encounter with him. She went on her way and made it inside for the exam. Everyone still took the exam and did their best on the written portion. The next part of the exam was the practical portion. That is where things take another turn.

During the practical portion of the exam…

Midoriya was desperate to find some robots to smash before time ran out. He noticed that everyone else was fanning out throughout the testing area. I need to make some points. I'm running out of time. He needed to go to UA. This was his dream. He wanted to be a hero.

Before he could see any robots he could get points off, he noticed the big robot enter the field. Everyone else saw it coming and started running in the opposite direction. Midoriya just stood there motionless.

That's when he heard the scream, he looked down and saw a person trapped by some debris. The person was struggling to get the debris off of them with a bar, but Midoriya noticed something about the person. That's her. The girl I ran into earlier. I need to help her. That's when Midoriya ran towards the girl to help her before she could get hurt. Midoriya didn't know why he would do this. Stopping this robot isn't going to get me any points, but I can't let that girl end up getting hurt. I have to do something.

That's when Midoriya felt his strength getting increasingly greater. He was about even with the girl when he leapt up with all his power. I gotta do this for her. He felt the strength get so much more enhanced. Smash!

Boom! The robot had the felt the impact of the punch that Midoriya landed. It fell backwards and to the ground. Midoriya was happy that he had done what he had set out to do. The only problem, the strength he had felt had broken his body, and he was falling towards the ground at an exceedingly fast rate. There was nothing he could physically do except prep his body for the impact.

As he was coming in for a landing, he felt himself land on something soft. He looked around to see he had landed on a giant trampoline. He didn't know how he got there, but he wasn't trying to knock it. As he came to a stop from the fall, Midoriya tried to roll off and go see if he could destroy any robots. Maybe I can get some points before it is too late…

Meanwhile…

At a different testing site, Ochaco was in the middle of her practical exam. She had gotten about 24 points by what she was calculating. As she was proceeding along, she heard a large mechanical humming noise. She turned to see one of the huge robots that they had described in the briefing for the practical exam.

Ochaco was frozen with fear at the glance of this mechanical monstrosity. She had to flee before it was too late. She turned to run, but she felt her leg get caught. She turned to see it underneath some rubble. How could this happen to me. I'm supposed to be helping my family, and I can't even help myself. She was feeling defeated. She was about ready to give in.

"Go, Dark Shadow. Protect everyone," a mysterious voice said. All of a sudden, a huge dark bird came out of nowhere and was holding back the robot. Ochaco looked up to see that she wasn't getting hurt. She then heard footsteps behind her. She turned and saw that a boy was rushing towards her. "Don't worry. I'm on my way," the boy said. The boy made it to her in time and was looking her over. "I'm going to help you up. It's going to be okay," the boy said reassuringly. Ochaco just nodded knowing she was in good hands. The boy seemed to know what he was doing. He quickly got her up off the ground, and started walking her to safety. The boy only looked back for a second and barked a command, "Dark Shadow, that's enough. Let's go." Ochaco was hurting, but she would live. As for the boy, he put her down on the ground, and he went back on to do the rest of the practical exam. I never got his name. She was just speechless and sat there wondering why that boy helped her.

At that same moment…

Asui was raking in the points like crazy. She couldn't be in a better spot. She had saw the giant robot enter the field, but had gotten far away from it. For the moment, she was smashing the smaller robots that mattered the most. What she didn't notice was that one of the robots had been hanging on the wall, waiting to strike. Asui was too worried about what was in front of her to notice it. With one fell swoop, the robot made a lunge.

Tsuyu looked around behind her and saw the robot coming at her. She was about to hop out of the way of the mechanical beast when a boy came out of nowhere. He withstood the attack from the robot, and then he proceeded to bash it in. Tsuyu was schocked that some one would come to help her when she didn't ask for it. After the boy had wrecked the robot, he quickly ran off. She didn't know this boy or why he helped her, but she wasn't worried about that and kept on fighting the other robots that were in front of her.

"TIME, the practical portion of the exam is now over," yelled a voice over the loud speaker. Everyone ceased what they were doing and waited for further instruction. With that, the UA entrance exams had come to an end.

With this small event, it has shown what difference it made in several lives. All because of one girl running into a boy did the course of events change fate. This journey will be exciting to see what will happen to the likes of these people. We will continue to explore every angle that this new universe that was created.
