Chapter 2: The First Day at UA

Hello! Here is the next chapter. I'm ready to move into more of the story here. Remember, I don't own My Hero Academia and the story ideas are all mine. Enjoy!

We now focus towards the time leading to and the first day at UA. How have the past choices affected the people.

Midoriya had just heard the acceptance letter from All Might. He couldn't believe he was going to UA for rescuing that girl. He was in utter shock and crying that he was able to start his path to being a hero. As he laid down in his bed looking at the ceiling, he couldn't believe the change of luck he had. A moment ago, he was okay with not going to UA, but now he was going due to having hero points. Everything was hitting him all at once, and he was only beginning to process the events.

One thing that stood out from all the other things that were told to him by All Might was the part where the girl he rescued had stopped by to talk with the faculty. "Hi, I want to talk to you guys about the boy that rescued me. When I was caught underneath that rubble, he was the only one that came to rescue me. I want to see about transferring all of my points to him. From what I saw from him, he didn't get a single point. I just want to thank him for what he did."

Those words kept rattling his brain. The fact that the girl would come back up to the school and want to help him was not short of amazing. The miraculous fact was that she got to keep her points, and Midoriya still got to go to school. It was like all his hard work was being paid forward to him. He was very pleased, but he knew he had to prepare for the next step. He was now a student at UA.

Meanwhile…

Ochaco had just heard her acceptance letter from All Might as well. She was amazed that she would be part of the hero course as well. She was floored by what had gone on in the test, and how she didn't think she wouldn't be getting into UA.

Ever since the entrance exams, she had felt defeated about how stunned she was from the practical portion. She slept each night reliving the moment seeing that huge robot coming towards her, but being saved by that bird headed boy. Then, seeing him just run back off and go back to doing what he could to pass the exam. I hope I can see him again. I would like to thank him.

The one thing that was weighing on her mind was that she wanted to be hero so bad, but she couldn't do the first thing about being a hero, saving people. She wanted to help her family, but what good was she if she can't take care of herself. She just felt like with what was done during the exam, she didn't deserve to go to UA.

Now, with this acceptance letter, she could stop doubting herself. She got up off the bed and made a silent vow. I will not become that helpless girl anymore. If I am to be a hero, I will rescue people and do it the best I can, like that boy. I will be brave. With that goal in mind, Ochaco drifted off to sleep.

At that same moment…

Asui had just heard her acceptance letter to UA. She knew that she would be accepted. She had really no worries about it the whole time. As much as she wanted to doubt, she had put in the hours of training and work that was deserving of her acceptance right now. She had no reason to feel any kind of weakness.

One thing that had stuck out to her was when that one robot that tried to attack her there was that certain boy who stepped up and went on his way. She saw that moment as a time of weakness. She wouldn't let herself feel that way ever again. Although there was nothing she could do, she would never let her guard down like that ever again.

All she could do was nod and know she wasn't ready then, and she will be ready the next time. No boy would ever make a fool out of her again. She didn't like how that boy just went on his way. She lost that point due to that boy. She just laid down in her bed and took in the feeling of elation from being able to go to school so that she could be a hero.

With these happening as they got their acceptance letters, the first day of school would be an interesting one, to say the least. With that thought, we now shift our focus to the first day at UA, and how each of these students came together in their first class. Welcome to UA.

On the first day…

Midoriya was now nervously roaming the halls at UA, going to class 1-A. He just couldn't believe that he had the chance to go one to be a hero. He just remembered what All Might said that day. Young man, you, too, can be a hero. He was now at All Might's alma mater.

As he approached the door to 1-A, he didn't notice going into the room. So, no classmate just yet. He started to reach for the door.

"Hey, fall boy," the familiar voice surprised him. He turned to see that it was the girl he rescued coming towards him at the same time. He wanted to say hi, "It's good to see you. I'm glad that you were able to pass the entrance exams," she said. He just started scratching his back and let out a chuckle.

She started looking at him next to the class door. "I..Is this your classroom? Are you in class 1-A," she asked, "I am in that class, too. Wow, it's a small world, huh. Well, nice to meet you fall boy, my name is Momo Yaoyorozu." She offered her hand. Midoriya could just stretch his hand. He wanted to say something, but all he could must was, "I..I…I'mmmmm…..Iz..Izu…Izuku Mmmmmmmmmmm….id…oriya." The girl just stood there awkwardly staring at him. Finally, she broke the silence, "Well, let's go in." Midoriya just nodded. I talked to her again. (Technically, still not talking.)

As they walked in, Midoriya notice that Kacchan was there with him. After that short exchange with him and meeting the strict boy by the name of Tenya Iida, Midoriya went over to sit at his chair.

Meanwhile…

Ochaco had entered the halls at UA and was almost in the classroom. She was taking deep breaths trying to not freak out on herself. She finally reached the classroom door and went inside.

As she went inside, she surveyed the classroom. She notice a few familiar faces in the class, but she thought she didn't see the other boy.

Just when she was about to give up, she looked over to see, with his head turned away from her, the bird headed boy. That's him. I can't believe it! She ran over to the boy, nearly tripping on the floor. She caught herself. She looked up to see the boy looking at her. She was nervous now, but she couldn't go back now. She just took a deep breath and held out her hand.

"Hi there, my name is Ochaco Uraraka. Nice to meet you," she said happily. The boy just stared at her blankly. "Hello. Nice to meet you. My name is Fumikage Tokoyami. Can I help you with something," he asked. Uraraka didn't know what to do, but she didn't care. "No, but I was just wanting to say hi and…", she said partly while holding on to breath deeply, " I'm wanting to thank you for helping me during the entrance exame," she stated. Tokoyami just stared intently. "During the practical exam, I was trapped, and you rescued me. I'm very grateful."

Tokoyami just stared, "It was no problem, believe me. I saw you in help and acted upon it. It's what we're supposed to be doing." He held up a thumbs up and winked. Uraraka could only blush and hold her thumb up. She just exhaled and felt good to be past that awkwardness. "I'm glad we are classmates. I hope we become friends," she said cheerfully. Tokoyami just closed his eyes for a minute with a not emotion. He then opened his eyes, " Who knows. We will find out," he held up a thumbs up again.

Ochaco wasn't sure what to think at the time, but she was okay with it. She just nodded and went to her desk.

At that same moment…

Tsuyu was entering class like normal. She was confident in herself and had no problems whatsoever. She sat at her desk waiting for class to begin. Just then, another student entered the class.

Asui was shocked to see that it was the boy who had helped her. He had white hair and a blue mask over his mouth. He looked to have wings with arms and eyes all over them. She wondered what his quirk truly was. The boy looked her way and walked to her desk.

He offered one of his hands out to her, "Nice to meet you. My name is Shoji," he said. Asui was taken by surprise by him. "Okay, what would you like me to do. Alright, I will say hi. My name is Tsuyu Asui, but call me Tsu. Is everything okay," she asked. Shoji shrugged, " I just wanted to say hi. I'm glad I was able to help you at the entrance exams." He seemed to smile at her. All Tsu could do was scratch her face, "Well, thank you for your help. Ribit. So, Shoji, you are part of this class," she asked. Shoji nodded, "I hope we'll learn a lot." This small talk was annoying Asui, "Well, class will be starting soon. Maybe, we'll talk later," she said ignorantly. Shoji nodded and went to sit down.

Just then, a guy in a sleeping bag slid in. He got out of the bag and stood at the podium in the class, "Hello, my name is Mr. Aizawa. I will be your homeroom teacher. Welcome to UA. You must have thought today would be an easy day, but I'm allowed to run my class my way. So, everyone, get on your gym suits and meet me outside. We are going to have a physical test. You will be judged on different factors to see your potential. Those who don't do good during the physical will be expelled from the hero course. Now, meet me outside."

As was observed, these indiduals lives have changed dramatically in the part. We will peek further into the rest of their first day in the next chapter.
