Hey there!

For these past few days, I did more thinking about many things in line with all that's going to happen to me. Because of that, I will once again make changes with my writing endeavors. I ask you to forget about my previous posts and to forgive me for this confusion that I'm stirring.

First, I got a part-time job as a Legal Researcher. It has monthly pay that for me is already sufficient enough for my savings and minimal expenses. Also, after waiting for quite a while in my applications, I now have a law school that I'll be attending this year. I will be giving my studies more priority than my hobby/interests since I really want to perform well for the success of my career. In the meantime, things have been set for me in a positive light.

Second, I analyzed the issues that I currently have - time and money - with 'time' going first considering I have been juggling a lot of responsibilities since the beginning of this year. I realized that I have been trying to tackle these two issues at the same time, which I found to be inefficient in the method that I'm doing. Given their nature, I should be addressing them one problem at a time.

Third, I did some research on the legal issues of monetizing fanfiction. I admit that there are blurred lines on this matter, making it risky to involve myself. Although I'm not directly monetizing my fanfic works since they will later on still be available to the public, I don't want to take on the risk as it may arise problems for me in the future.

With all of the above things in mind, this is what is going to happen from now on with regards to my story writing:

I will be dropping 'The Little Mermaid's True Love' for now.For me to be able to attend to the demands of my part-time job and law school altogether, I think it's proper for me to drop this short story. It's getting tough for me to write this story and 'Forever With You' simultaneously, so I have to make this choice. 'The Little Mermaid's True Love' is only a side project as compared to 'Forever With You'. With that, I will tend to the latter one first.

I will resume updates of 'Forever With You'... BUT there's a catch. I will only post them on my Buy Me A Coffee (BMC) page. I'm not sure if I mentioned this but managing multiple accounts at the same time has been a tedious task for me. From now on, I will post my chapters on BMC as draft versions and, when all of the chapters of my work are complete/finished and revised, I will publish the whole book here on AO3 (and on other platforms). This means that 'Forever With You' updates will be made on BMC as draft chapters. When the book is complete, I will publish the fully furnished chapters on AO3. The same goes for my other ongoing and future works.

This is to save me more time to be able to balance my responsibilities. It's one of my main goals to bring all of my readers to one place for easier engagement with them. I need this less hassle so that I can take care of my mental and physical health.

My updates will still be every Saturday like before. While my schedule is not yet tight, I will make my updates weekly on Saturday. This update schedule is not permanent though. It may only last for around two months or until the law school semester starts. At the present, this is how it's going to be.

I'm still accepting monetary support!I will be using the money that I save to buy law books and supplies. So from 'buy me a coffee', it will be called 'buy me a book' starting today.

To read recent and incoming updates of 'Forever With You', go visit my BMC page and follow me. The link is in my profile page. You can download the app too. There's already one chapter out as we speak.

Again, I'm sorry for this mess. I tend to make overambitious decisions whenever I become too passionate about my goals. I promise that I will change this habit of mine. And thank you in advance for your understanding and patience.

Let me know your thoughts on this.

See you on my Buy Me A Coffee page!
