Disclaimer: I don't own Halo or Predator. Halo is owned by 343 Industries and Xbox Studios. Predator is owned by 20th Century Fox.

Azure: Two alien warriors, reptilian in appearance but have codes of honor and duty. They both were enemies of humans, even killing them, yet they team up with a human for a greater goal, and even become friends with them. They fight using a combination of active camo, blades, and plasma weapons. They're also known for being highly respected warriors in their respective races, and were in rival fighting games.

-Line Break-

Bryant: Aliens. Either they're weird little green men, hentai inspiration, weird little blobs, imposters in society-

Thea: Or total badasses! Who are ugly! But in a badass way!

Bryant: Thel 'Vadamee, the Arbiter.

Thea: And Ahab, the Predator.

Bryant: I'm Bryant Reese.

Thea: And I'm Thea Price.

Bryant: And we're here to analyse these two fighters and find out who would win, a WI Battle!

-Line Break-

Bryant: The Covenant. A group of religious aliens looking for salvation from the many machines made by the ancient Forerunners.

Thea: This army of aliens is made up of several races, but the main threats were the Sangheili. A race of alien lizard-like beings who are basically the Crusaders leading a crusade. These guys were known for their cool armor, cool weapons, and codes of honor.

Bryant: One of the Sangheili, however, stood out amongst the rest. This was the Arbiter, a warrior who would rise up and lead his people to their own salvation. But before that, he was Thel 'Vadam.

Arbiter:

-Name: Thel 'Vadamee

-Height: 7' 10"

-Weight: 319 lbs

-Race: Sangheili

-Former Supreme Commander

-Was named Top 5 Best Alien in Video Games

Thea: Thel 'Vadam was a little shriveled alien thing, but he grew up believing in the Covenant's cause. He was trained by his relative, Lak Vadamee, and eventually joined the military.

Bryant: Upon joining as a young Sangheili, he was given the right to add -ee to his name, and became known as Thel 'Vadamee, as was the tradition.

Thea: Wait, so you join the army, and they add -ee to your name? What, would that make me Theaee? You would be Bryantee, what about someone named Deedee? Would they be Deedeeee?

Bryant: Thel 'Vadamee would continue to rise the ranks of the Covenant army, and soon became Supreme Commander of his own ship. He lead his ship in a charge against Reach, an Earth Base-

Thea: And one of the best games in Halo History. Rest in peace Noble Six. You should've been the protag instead of Locke.

Bryant: Thel 'Vademee's army pursued the remaining humans, but ended up near a Halo Ring, a superweapon that can cause mass genocide on a galactic scale. Upon the release of the Flood, an alien race of parasites, he was forced to evacuate his troops, allowing Master Chief to destroy Halo.

Thea: The thing is, the Halo Rings are sacred in the Covenant's religion, and considered their path to salvation. Thel' Vadamee was blamed for it being destroyed. He lost his name, rank, title, honor, called a heretic for his failure, branded with the Mark of Shame, and executed to be hung by his entrails and paraded through the city. … Zealots.

Bryant: Fortunately, the Prophets of Truth and Mercy intervened and offered Thel' Vadamee an alternative route to not just be spared, but to regain his honor. Become the Arbiter, and die fighting for the Covenant as he did before.

Thea: And fight he can do!

Abilities/Arsenal:

-Superhuman Abilities

-Master Swordsman

-Skilled Tactician

-Arbiter Armor

=Active Camo

=Energy Shields

=HUD

=Motion Trackers

-Prophet's Bane

-Type-25 Plasma Rifle

-Type-57B Carbines

-Type-1 Plasma Grenade

Thea: The Arbiter is skilled at military tactics, weapons handling, and swordsmanship. In fact, Arbiter is always carrying an Energy Sword. The man's got style.

Bryant: He's not just carrying any ordinary Energy Sword. Arbiter soon discovered that the Halo Rings were dangerous, and the Prophets had betrayed his people. In a coup d'etat, he joined with the UNSC and ended their war, and slew the last Prophet. The Energy Sword he wielded was combined with another, ancient sword found in the vaults of the House of Vadam, and created his signature orange blade. The Prophet's Bane is made of plasma, which can reach a temperature of about 45 thousand degrees Fahrenheit. It can also block bullets.

Thea: With such a dangerous blade, it's no wonder why it kills just about anything with a single shot. But it's just a melee weapon, and Arbiter needs to be good at all ranges. That's why he carries the Type-25 Plasma Rifle, which is basically a plasma SMG. It can mow down foes in a flash.

Bryant: For more precision based weapons, he has the Type-57B Carbine Rifle. It fires radioactive bullets, and is generally stealthy due to little to no sound being heard as it fires.

Thea: But for real firepower, he has the Type-1 Plasma Grenade. These suckers stick to foes before blowing in a beautiful blue explosion.

Bryant: Arbiter's weapons were certainly excellent, but he has some good armor as well.

Thea: The Arbiter Armor gives Arbiter energy shields, which can block damage and recharge automatically over time. His HUD tells him just how much of his energy shields are left, and how much ammo his guns have. His motion tracker has a 25 field radius and tells him where his opponents are in combat. But his most useful function is the Active Camouflage, which adjusts to the light and makes him practically invisible to the human eye.

Bryant: The Arbiter is also extremely strong and fast. He can keep up with most Spartans and is comparable to the Master Chief.

Achievements:

-Youngest to get the title of Shipmaster and Supreme Commander

-Killed three assassins with no weapon or armor

-Regarded as the most dangerous of the Covenant

-Was unpredictable to of the UNSC

-Tanked a hit from 343 Guilty Spark

-Responsible for the destruction of 7 planets

-United the Sangheili Clans

-Ended the Human-Covenant War

-Defeated Jai-006, Sergeant Johnson, Tartarus, and killed Truth

Thea: We covered the Master Chief before, and said that he can exert over 72 hundred tons of force to flip a 66 ton tank and react in 30 nanoseconds. He can drag around a bomb weighing almost a hundred tons, and can be compared to Spartans like Holly Tanaka, who can body-slam through a boulder with a force of over 1.4 billion joules of energy. Dang. With that kind of strength and speed, it's no wonder how he could do those crazy combos when he got into Killer Instinct.

Bryant: Arbiter has been able to flip large machines himself before. He's even defeated Tartarus, Chieftain of the Jiralhanae, aka the Brutes. And the Brutes have been shown to be just as, if not stronger, than the Spartans.

Thea: Arbiter's taken down mini-armies himself. He's taken out three assassins at once while naked, united the Sangheili Clans, outsmarted from the UNSC, and took a hit from 343 Guilty Spark, whose laser would normally kill if not disintegrate other Sangheilis like Arbiter. But Arbiter just, got back up! Like it didn't even happen.

Bryant: There's a good reason why many members of the UNSC regard Arbiter to be one of, if not the, deadliest warrior of the Sangheili, one who led his troops to victory and destroyed 7 planets. But despite being one of the greatest in his race, possibly the galaxy, he's not perfect.

Weaknesses:

-Sense of honor can get to him

-Has a bad temper

-Armor has flaws

Thea: Arbiter is a pretty cool guy, and has a good sense of honor. But that sense of honor can get him into trouble at times. He also has a bad temper. But if you had your entire life turned upside down, found out your religion was going to kill everyone you knew, the people you worked for your entire life tried to kill you, and had to deal with the Flood, you'd be pissed off too.

Bryant: This can be dangerous as his armor is not perfect. His cloaking only lasts so long, his shields can only block so much, and there are weak points in the armor that the opponent can exploit.

Thea: Still, the Arbiter is one heck of a badass. If he comes hunting ya, stay out of his way, and just hide.

(Arbiter) I have faced the Flood and silenced Truth. I will quell your thunder and douse your flame.

-Line Break-

Bryant: Within the compounds of space, aliens exist. With such a vast world filled with near endless possibilities, there are a great many trophies and prizes.

Thea: The Yautja agree! They're a race of warriors and hunters who travel the cosmos, hunting dangerous aliens and strange beings for sport and honor. Hunting was their religion.

Bryant: Considering their habits, profession, and their monstrous appearances, they became known simply, as the Predators.

Predator:

-Name: Ahab

-Height: 7' +

-Weight: Unknown

-Race: Yautja

-Has a scarred eye

-A Yautja Elite

Thea: There are a bunch of different Predators, and since they all have the same weapon and gear, we can compare them to each other. But since we don't have a main Predator, we'll be combining them together to make a composite, while using one Predator as a base for the sake of story.

Bryant: Ahab's origin is, for the most part, unknown. What we do know is that he was a veteran hunter who claimed trophies from numerous planets, and that he was attempting to hunt one of the most dangerous beings he could. An Engineer. Engineers possess some of the most advanced technology in the world, and are seen by some as gods. So yeah, pretty big game.

Thea: His journey led him to meeting Galgo, a mercenary who had an encounter with an Engineer, and even stole its rifle. Ahab forced Galgo to help him find and kill the Engineer. And you don't want to say no to Ahab.

Abilities/Arsenal:

-Armor

-Bio-helmet

-Cloaking Device

-Plasmacaster

-Smart Disk

-Power Punch Glove

-Wristblades

-Wrist Gauntlet

=Self-Destruct Device

=Gauntlet Cuffs

-Combistick

-Netgun

-Speargun

-Grappling Hook

-Mines

Thea: The Bio-Helmet has thermal, ultraviolet, infrared and EM vision for tracking foes, along with a targeting laser to help aim, and can both translate foreign languages and provide oxygen. The Combistick is a collapsible staff which can be used like a spear. The Smart Disk is a boomerang-like discus that can be used for melee combat. It can trap you in place with a net gun that has a net that automatically tightens. The Speargun fires razor-sharp metal like bullets, and can shatter stone.

Bryant: The Predator also possesses mines, a grappling hook, and a Power Punch Glove, which is basically brass knuckles.

Thea: But the Predator has even more gear. Like it's signature Wristblades! These ain't Assassin's Creed, these are Wolverine.

Bryant: The Wristblades are one of the Predator's signature weapons, and are capable of cutting through stone. However, they pride themselves in their skill as hunters, and thus rely on stealth. They are exceptionally stealthy thanks to their Cloak Generators, which render them invisible. Though they do short out in water, and cannot hide the Wristblades.

Thea: They can activate the Cloak Generator with their wrist-gauntlets, which also have a hologram device, a Sat-Com, and a self-destruct device.

Bryant: Finally, the Predator is equipped with a Plasmacaster. As a shoulder-equipped plasma gun, it can fire powerful bursts of plasma that can kill an ordinary human. What's more, it can become a melee weapon, by attaching to the wrist-gauntlet to enhance its strikes. However, while it may be the Predator's most powerful weapon-

Thea: It doesn't like using it.

Bryant: This is because the Plasmacaster is easily the most powerful weapon, which usually kills the Predator's prey in one-shot. As the Predators are proud warriors, they only use these on foes that they view to be unworthy, and thus not honorable to fight head-on.

Thea: Honorable, but hates losing. If it loses, it'll blow itself up.

Bryant: But it would be pretty hard to beat it in the first place.

Achievements:

-Tanked being shocked

-Tanked having his eye stabbed out

-Defeated Xenomorphs

-Killed an Engineer

-Scales to other Predators and have defeated some

=Some kicked over military trucks

=Others ripped out spines with the head

=Some can outrun machine gun fire and dodge sniper rounds

Thea: Predators like Ahab are no joke. They can kick military trucks over like they're a toy car. Those things can weigh up to 8 tons! Ahab was strong enough to take on several Xenomorphs and even beat other Predators in a fight.

Bryant: He withstood being shocked, having his eye stabbed out, and even defeated the Engineer he hunted by trapping it and escaping after arming his self-destruct device, leaving nothing but the Engineer's head and spine, which he claimed as his trophy.

Thea: Ahab got his whale. Speaking of spine-heads, other Predators can do a Fatality and yank a person's spine out with their heads! No wonder he got into Mortal Kombat X.

Bryant: The Predators are even able to outrun machine gun fire, putting them over Mach 2, possibly even Mach 3.

Thea: And when they try to take you down with them, chances are, they're taking you down for sure. Their Self-Destruct can be strong enough to destroy part of a city, putting them anywhere from between 1 to just under 6 kilotons of TNT. That's more than enough to kill their prey. And their prey's allies. And their home. And part of their city. And the Predators themselves.

Bryant: Which is one of their weaknesses.

Weaknesses:

-Honor Code will get the better of them

-Can be rather arrogant at times

-Prefers their regular weapons against worthy opponents

Bryant: The Predators are honor-bound and have a code that prevents them from attacking unarmed opponents, and they would discard their more useful tools when faced with a worthy opponent.

Thea: But if they're worthy opponents, they might have a good chance at killing a Predator.

Bryant: It doesn't help that they also have a bit of a pride streak. They often underestimate certain foes, resulting in an opening for their opponents. And in their line of work, a single opening can mean death.

Thea: But the Predators are feared through the galaxy for a reason. These guys are some of the world's greatest hunters. And everyone knows it.

(Ahab) Roars as he holds up an Engineer's skull.

-Line Break-

Bryant: Alright, the stage is set, time to start this dance.

Thea: Battle ready, set, GO!

-Line Break-

"Arbiter, come in. Arbiter, do you read?" the alien leader looked up and pressed a button, showing the hologram picture of a familiar human.

"I read you Captain Lasky. Do you have an update?"

"We detected the Yautja in your general area. We're prepping some of our Spartans to-"

"No." Arbiter said as he turned away and walked over to a table nearby. Captain Lasky blinked in surprise.

"No?"

"I will not hide away from the Yautja, the Predators. I am the Arbiter, and thus I cannot. I will face the Predator, and face them as an opponent." Arbiter grunted as he equipped his Plasma Rifle and Carbine before picking up his Prophet's Bane.

"But… Alright. Godspeed Arbiter." Lasky nodded before turning off the hologram. Arbiter grunted as he walked out of his tent, nodding as he passed members of the Covenant loyal to him. It didn't take long before he reached the sacred temple grounds. He looked around, before looking up.

"Show yourself, and face me!" Arbiter roared. An eerie growling sounded, and the Predator faded into sight, standing on top of a rock column. The two took aim with their weapons, ready for the battle.

Only the strong will survive!

Fight!

Arbiter was the first to shoot. His Plasma Rifle immediately began spraying a barrage of rapid fire plasma shots. The Predator crouched down on the column, letting the plasma shots pass over it and shoot the pillar itself. Arbiter grunted in annoyance before charging forwards. He slammed into the pillar with a roar, causing the pillar to shake. The Predator growled as he hung on before leaping off the pillar and onto another. The Plasmacaster on his shoulder spun before firing powerful plasma shots. Arbiter grunted as he rolled away from the shots before firing back again. The Predator jumped onto the ground and continued to fire his Plasmacaster rapidly towards Arbiter as he ran forwards.

"How bold!" Arbiter said as he fired his rifle rapidly. Predator skidded to a stop and jumped to the side. He pulled out his Smart Disk and hurled it towards Arbiter. The discus sliced through the air and nearly hit Arbiter, but the alien knocked it to the side. He hurled a Plasma Grenade towards the Predator, blowing up the stone cover he was behind. Predator jumped back and roared before he blasted a few more shots from his Plasmacaster. Arbiter grunted as he was blasted and knocked flying back. His rifle clattered to the ground away as Arbiter skidded to a stop.

Predator fired his grapple gun to grab Arbiter and began to pull him in. Arbiter roared as he grabbed the rope and yanked the Predator towards him. The Yautja snarled as he twisted in mid-air and pulled out his Combistick to swing at Arbiter's head. The Sangheili grunted as the metal staff cracked across his face. Predator kicked Arbiter away before spinning the Combistick. The staff whipped through the air, slamming into Arbiter repeatedly as Predator beat his opponent down. Suddenly, as Predator went for a heavy strike, Arbiter lashed out and knocked the Predator away, sending him spinning through the air.

C-C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER!

Predator landed and took another stance. He charged forwards with a roar and thrusted the Combistick forwards with the intent of impaling the opponent before him. Arbiter grabbed the end of the stick and rammed into his opponent with a loud impact, sending him flying. Arbiter growled as he threw away the Combistick.

"Come." Arbiter challenged. Predator roared before cloaking. Arbiter grunted in annoyance before taking out his Carbine and looking around.

"Do not assume that you can hide from me." Arbiter said. Something pinged on his Motion Tracker. Arbiter roared as he slammed the end of his Carbine into something invisible behind him. The gun fired, knocking the Predator back. Arbiter blasted him several times before punching Predator and knocking him back.

Hyper Combo!

Predator roared as he rolled to his feet. Arbiter continued to fire at the alien before him, but Predator ducked under the shots and fired his speargun. Arbiter grunted as he ducked under the shots, but was tackled. Predator slammed Arbiter back with a shoulder bash before firing a shot from his Plasmacaster. Arbiter grunted as he was blasted and knocked slightly back. Predator reappeared next to him and punched him across the face. Arbiter grunted as he felt his skull break, but not break? Predator threw Arbiter away before firing shots from his Plasmacaster. Arbiter rolled away as he grunted before rolling to his knees and throwing another Plasma Grenade. The Plasmacaster blasted the grenade, causing it to explode in a bright blue explosion. Arbiter shielded his eyes before activating his cloak and disappearing.

Predator got to his feet and looked around. He grunted in annoyance before pulling off his Plasmacaster and attaching it to his arm and taking a stance. Arbiter snuck around behind Predator and raised his gun to strike Predator from behind. The hunter suddenly spun around and backhanded Arbiter, knocking him off his feet. Arbiter grunted as he spun through the air before being punched in the stomach and blasted by the now melee Plasmacaster. He was launched by the plasma shot and slammed into a rock column. Predator rushed up to him and tried to punch again, only for Arbiter to duck under the strike and kick him away. Predator blocked a counter punch and blasted Arbiter with the Plasmacaster and kicked him away before blasting him again. The Carbine clattered on the ground, and Arbiter got to his feet, ready to continue. But to Arbiter's surprise, the Predator didn't move.

"You will not press your advantage?" he said cautiously. The Predator cocked his head towards Arbiter's Carbine. Arbiter looked his opponent over, eyes beginning to light up in recognition.

"I see now. You are a hunter of glory and honor, not greed or malice. Very well. As you showed me respect, I shall do the same." Arbiter reached to his waist and pulled out his Prophet's Bane. He pressed a button and turned it on. The plasma hissed as it formed the bright orange blades. Ahab growled before taking off his tech and throwing it to the side. He reached up and slowly took off his helmet, revealing his true face.

"We shall do battle as true warriors. As it was meant to be. May the best warrior win." Thel 'Vadamee said. Ahab's wrist-blades extended with a click. The two aliens roared at each other before charging. Thel 'Vadamee swung his sword repeatedly, forcing Ahab to dodge the hissing blades of plasma. Ahab ducked under one of the slashes and tried to stab Thel 'Vadamee with his blades, only for the Sangheili to put Ahab in an arm lock. Ahab roared and slammed his head against Arbiter's face, forcing his opponent off. The two continued to dance around each other's blades before Thel 'Vadamee kicked Ahab away and swung downwards. Ahab rolled out of the way, letting the Prophet's Bane cut through the stone ground with a hiss. Thel 'Vadamee straightened and continued his attack.

The two continued to fight. Ahab ducked under his opponent's slash and brought up his blades as a counter. Thel 'Vadamee grunted as the twin blades glanced off his helmet before being slammed into. The two aliens struggled against each other, pushing the other's blades away before Thel 'Vadamee headbutted Ahab away. Ahab stumbled back before roaring as he charged forwards. Thel 'Vadamee roared back as he charged as well. The two brought their blades back, and the Prophet's Bane shot forwards, impaling Ahab through the chest. The alien roared as Thel 'Vadamee brough the blade upwards with his own roar, cutting Ahab into two. The two halves, their sliced ends glowing orange from the heat, fell besides Thel 'Vadamee, who retracted his blade.

"Rest, worthy foe."

KO!

Thea: Now that's a fight between warriors.

Bryant: Ahab certainly put up a fight, but Thel 'Vadamee had what he had in order to take the win.

Thea: Both are aliens with a bunch of experience, skill, and versatility. They countered each other's weapons pretty good too. Their ranged options are around the same level due to the fact that while the Plasma Rifle and Carbine had a greater fire rate and range, the Plasmacaster was stronger overall.

Bryant: What's more, both had cloaking, but they can counter each other's cloaking with motion tracking and thermal vision. Ahab had a step up with more weapons, but that didn't mean much in the long run. Especially with Thel 'Vadamee's greater stats.

Thea: One can kick over an 8 ton truck, the other can throw a 66 ton tank. Pretty clear cut.

Bryant: And when it came to melee weapons, while Ahab had more options, the Prophet's Bane was far superior due to its plasma blades and greater defensive abilities.

Thea: It didn't help that while Predator just had regular metal armor for defense, Arbiter had both that and regenerating shields. But those wouldn't matter because of Predator's ace, right?

Bryant: Ah, yes. Ahab's Self-Destruct function is quite devastating, and is likely capable of killing Arbiter in one-shot. But keep in mind several things considering this fight.

Thea: One, we don't consider death to be the only possible ending. If Predator is considering using his Self-Destruct, then Arbiter already won. Two, the Self-Destruct isn't automatic. So if Arbiter can take Predator down before he turns the Self-Destruct on, he's good.

Bryant: And it's rather likely that Thel 'Vadamee would be able to do so. After all, while Ahab is capable of reacting at Mach 2 speeds, Thel 'Vadamee was fast enough to keep up with the Master Chief, who's fast enough to react to and even intercepting lasers.

Thea: Uh, bullets, versus lasers? Pieces of metal moving twice as fast as sound isn't as good as a beam of light.

Bryant: Even if Thel 'Vadamee couldn't defeat Ahab fast enough, the explosion isn't automatic, and would give him enough time to escape.

Thea: Ahab did his best, but Thel 'Vadamee's better strength and speed was just enough to take down the Predator. Let's hope he gets a halo in the afterlife. Which means the winner of this WI Battle is the Arbiter!

Well hopefully I paid these two enough respect. Arbiter is a badass, and Predator is definitely a badass. Anyway, as per the usual, leave a review. Azure out!

ALT. ENDING!

(Predator's Win)

The two continued to dodge and attempt to counter-strike each other. Ahab dodged a stab and hooked his arm around Thel 'Vadamee's sword. Thel 'Vadamee brought up his fist to punch Ahab, but Ahab stabbed his Wrist-Blades through the Sangeheili's hand, drawing blue blood. Thel 'Vadamee roared and slammed Ahab away with a headbutt. Ahab fell back as Thel 'Vadamee charged and swung his sword. Ahab's Wrist Blades stabbed through Thel 'Vadamee's arm, causing him to roar again. Ahab roared as he brought his other arm up, impaling Thel 'Vadamee's head and stabbed out the top. The Sangheili's blood ran down the helmet and Ahab's blade before Ahab pulled the blades out, letting Thel 'Vadamee fall to the said. Ahab grabbed the Prophet's Bane. He pressed the button, causing the orange blades to pop out with a hiss. He raised the sword high with a roar, signifying his victory.
