When John treated his friends to a drink at a bar, Nagisa said, "There are sure a lot of corn fields here." John nodded his head and said, "Yeah, the corn is made into beer." Then Karma said, "Surprised the farmers can do that." John looked at Karma and said, "It's all because of the rain, Rain is a good thing for farmer." Soon music started playing for John and he obliged his friends.
[JOHN]: My daddy spent his life lookin' up at the sky
He'd cuss kick the dust, sayin' son it's way too dry
It clouds up in the city, the weather man complains
But where I come from, rain is a good thing
Soon his friends sang the bridge with him.
[EVERYONE]: Rain makes corn, corn makes whiskey
Whiskey makes my baby, feel a little frisky
Back roads are boggin' up, my buddies pile up in my truck
We hunt our hunnies down, we take 'em into town
Start washin' all our worries down the drain
Rain is a good thing
[JOHN]: Ain't nothin' like a kiss out back in the barn
Ringin' out our soakin' clothes, ridin' out a thunderstorm
When tin roof gets to talkin'; that's the best love we made
Yea where I come from, rain is a good thing
[EVERYONE]: Rain makes corn, corn makes whiskey
Whiskey makes my baby, feel a little frisky
Back roads are boggin' up, my buddies pile up in my truck
We hunt our hunnies down, we take 'em into town
Start washin' all our worries down the drain
Rain is a good thing
[JOHN]: Farmer Johnson does a little dance
Creeks on the rise, roll up your pants
Country girls, they wanna cuddle
Kids out playin' in a big mud puddle
[EVERYONE]: Rain makes corn, corn makes whiskey
Whiskey makes my baby, (laughs)
Back roads are boggin' up, my buddies pile up in my truck
We hunt our hunnies down, we take 'em into town
Start washin' all our worries down the drain
Rain is a good thing
Rain is a good thing, rain is a good thing, rain is a good thing.
"That was a good timing for the music." Said Yuma. John nodded his head and allowed his Friends to enter first. John then said, "My family owns this bar so I got a rep here, but man, I love this bar." Once again, the music began to play for Toby Keith's I love this bar. John then decided to sing that one as well.
[JOHN]: We got winners, we got losers
Chain smokers and boozers
And we got yuppies, we got bikers
We got thirsty hitchhikers
And the girls next door dress up like movie stars
Hmm, hmm, hmm I love this bar
We got cowboys, we got truckers
Broken-hearted fools and suckers
And we got hustlers, we got fighters
Early birds and all-nighters
And the veterans talk about their battle scars
Hmm, hmm, hmm I love this bar
I love this bar
It's my kind of place
Just walkin' through the front door
Puts a big smile on my face
It ain't too far, come as you are
Hmm, hmm, hmm I love this bar
John then got onto the stage and sang into the mic as his friends sat down
[JOHN}: I've seen short skirts, we got high-techs
Blue-collar boys and rednecks
And we got lovers, lots of lookers
And I've even seen dancing girls and hookers
And we like to drink our beer from a mason jar
Hmm, hmm, hmm I love this bar
Yes I do
I like my truck (I like my truck)
I like my girlfriend (I like my girlfriend)
I like to take her out to dinner
I like a movie now and then
But I love this bar
It's my kind of place
Just trollin' around the dance floor
Puts a big smile on my face
No cover charge, come as you are
Hmm, hmm, hmm I love this bar
Hmm, hmm, hmm I just love this old bar
Nagisa and Karma smiled as the rest of the gang cheered for John, who bowed and got off the stage to enjoy his friendships
