Sonic and Shadow have gone through so much, from saving the world to jumping through time. Unfortunately, some demons from their past still haunt them today. Shadow wakes up to the all-too familiar procedures he experienced on the ARK - scientists busily working above him as he's tied down to an operating table. Their testing revives every hellish memory he has tried to forget, and it seems like there's no way to get out of this endless cycle. How did he get here anyway?

An unfortunate turn of events during one of Eggman's 'great ideas' sends Sonic and his friends to a different version of their world. Cities are run by groups of individuals just trying to survive. Violence is everywhere and uncertainty dictates every move. How can they survive, change this place, and most importantly, get back home? Romance, violence, and power rule here. ;)

After a series of tragic events, Shadow loses what has become everything to him. There's no one to blame but himself. (First post, if this gets anyone's interest, I may develop this :) ) Sorrow, depression, loss, and an inability to cope without going insane.
