A/N:

Please go back and read all new chapters that begin with either "11th Hour" or "Interlude". As, given the original fic "What's in a Destiny", has a lot of interconnected moments with "Lord Uzumaki", I decided to combine the 2 fics into one.

12 years before The Uzumaki Clan move to Konoha.

"What do you mean, I can't wish them back!!! You revive people all the time!" Trunks snapped at the giant, wish granting, dragon. The Doctor stood off to the side, just watching. Frieza was just staring at the huge dragon, his eyes wide.

Trunks ignored them both, this was his wish. It had taken a full year, to find all the Dragon balls... and this was his wish. "and I KNOW, you have brought entire planets back before! Make with the resurrecting!!!"

The great dragon, Shenron, just stared at the idiot boy. Explaining, as simply as possible, how even an eternal dragon had limits. "The Destruction of Planet Vegeta is a fixed point. The universe literally depends on it's boom. I can bring back specific individuals, but not the whole planet, nor the entire population."

Trunks growled. He just couldn't catch a break. All he wanted to do was save his dead race. Experience some of that "Saiyan Pride" his father was always going on about! And there was literally NOTHING he could do to save any of it.

"I can, however, bring all the surviving Saiyans here?" informed the dragon. "They are scattered about the Galaxy, but there is nothing stopping me from giving them the chance to rebuild."

Trunks blinked, "Wait! Let me think of how to phrase this."

"I am not some monkey's paw!" Shenron snapped. "I don't twist words, or even need them. I know your intent, and give it to you. I was designed by a god of joy and mercy! I KNOW what you really want, and am honor bound to give it to you... so long as it doesn't endanger the planet." he added, as an afterthought.

Trunks blinked. Not realizing, the dragon of this universe, had safeties put in. Guess, King Piccolo would have to find a different way to come back.

Shaking his head, and focusing on the matter at hand. What did he want? He guessed he wanted all the Saiyans to come to Earth. Not just the full blooded ones, either. As he was sure their were plenty of hybrids, like himself, that longed for what he really wanted... a home, and a people to call their own...

But they would probably be pissed if the wish separated them from any family they had.

Trunks grew up in a post apocalyptic nightmare. Hearing stories of the Saiyans. A noble but savage people... his people... but, besides his father. He never met a full blooded one... and his dad had died when he was far too little... he wanted to know what it was like to have a home. A place for... family...

Just then, the eternal dragon's eyes glowed red.

Not all Frost Demons, or rather "Arcosians", were heartless. Although they all did think of Sapients as "less evolved" then themselves. This could manifest in them believing they had a duty to protect, and sometimes guide, other lower races.

As far as the Arcosian were concern, there were sentient lifeforms, then Sapient, followed by themselves.

They were "Entities". Lifeforms with such long lifespans, they might as well be immortal, and power levels so high, their weakest adults could glass planets, and destroy moons. With their average IQ being 2000.

There were few races that could be described as their equals. Fellow entities such as: Living Planets, Time Lords, Dragons, and the Higher Yokai.

Cooler had a theory that Saiyans may one day reach that potential. However, it was more a passing interest. Like being aware apes used tools, and could learn sign language, but not considering them Sapient.

Saiyans were still evolving, and maybe, in the future, they would reach Arcosian levels. But given their short lifespans, at a measly 500 galactic standard years. They weren't there yet.

Saiyans were impressive animals, but still just animals. Though Cooler wanted to see them reach their potential. Unfortunately, with how slow evolution was, it was unlikely they would break that gap, even in his lifetime.

Cooler was... frustrated, that his father so devastated their population. Unlike some others of his race, Cooler never enjoyed pointless killing, or even injuring, animals. Especially not ones with as much potential as Saiyans.

Yes, on occasion, Cooler had been required to discipline his pets, but he never left a permanent mark, and he certainly never killed any of them.

Cooler loved his collection of Sapients. For example, the little Saiyan boy, currently sitting on his lap. Enjoying having his hair brushed.

This was Prince Vegeta, 7 year old son of King Vegeta... and beloved pet of Prince Cooler. Cooler had debated on renaming him "Fluffy", after the thick, spikey, hair all Saiyans had... but the cub had refused to respond to that. He really was too old to rename. All Sapients, over a certain age, can be stubborn about such things.

Although Cooler still called him "Fluffy" from time to time, as a nickname.

By the time the Saiyans were brought together, Vegeta had been with Cooler for 4, galactic standard, months... which effectively meant he had been with the man for over a year, of Earth Kai's solar cycles.

So Cooler felt quite attached to his newest pet... and knew, despite the boy's fussiness, he loved Cooler back.

Kurama lifted his head, feeling... a rival. Another entity was entering his territory. It had somehow appeared, deep within his borders... within Earth Kai's orbit.

Such situations were exactly why he was here. To protect the worlds within his domain. It was once again time, to prove himself worthy of his titles.

Scratching the air in front of him. His very claws slashed through the fabric of space. Creating a portal. On the other side, was a massive fleet.

Kurama licked his muzzle, in anticipation. Praying they would not go quietly. He was, after all, hungry.

Stepping through his portal, onto the surface of a completely different planet. An entire fleet was in the sky, with a small army of little humanoids, with monkey tails, on the surface. Seeing his mighty form, easily as large as their mother ship. Then, with a smirk, Kurama grew even larger. Until the entire fleet was bite sized snacks in comparison. He could smell their fear.

A flee like entity, at least in comparison, flew out of the mothership. And had the audacity to land on his nose.

"I am Kurama," The fox introduced himself. Knowing it was required of him. "9th demon lord, of the Shounen Mega System. 12th Refugee camp, of the 42 galaxies." He began to explain. After all, it wouldn't do not to give them a warning. The Doctor would be disappointed, if he neglected such a duty. "Guardian of this region of space, The Mighty Kyubi, and chosen Champion to the Doctor-"

"Lord of Time, and chosen of the TARDIS." Cooler nodded. You couldn't be a son of a galactic dictator, and not hear your father frequently complain about such an Entity. The Doctor was an even larger thorn, in King Cold's side, then the thief that stole Frieza.

Regardless, acknowledging his master, caused the Demon to pause... before giving a devilish smile. "Have you come to cause trouble, little flee?" Kurama chuckled. The S ranked Demon licked his muzzle. Salivating at the idea of such a meal.

Cooler immediately backtracked. Kyubi were one of the few beings, Arcosian acknowledged as their equals... and this one felt particularly old. His every pour radiated power.

"I'm unaware how I got here." Cooler stressed.

"That was our doing," Both Cooler and Kurama turned to see... a ridiculous humanoid in a bowtie.

"D-Doctor!!!" The Kyubi stammered, before slamming his own body to the ground, in a Bow. "Forgive me for not addressing you first." The demon's ears pinned. "I did not spot you in the crowd."

"Calm down big guy," The Doctor calmly reached down, to pet the fox's muzzle... which he was currently standing on. "You know I don't really care about stuff like that."

Cooler looked at the Doctor... this ridiculous man, whom even his father feared.

Cooler looked into the crowd, just incase any of the Doctor's S rank companions were present. He stretched out with his extra senses...and found... "Frieza?"

The Doctor's eyes turned to him. Cooler could only glare, as he realized, his fellow entity, already knew the boy was here. The kid's aura was even a lot younger then he should be. So time travel was likely involved.

The Doctor's own eyes turned cold... and Cooler did his best not to back down.

"Would you like me to eat him, my lord?" Kurama reminded both who's nose they were on.

The Doctor smiled, but there was no joy in that grin, "That won't be necessary." looking deeply at Cooler, the Doctor said, "You're father is a monster. You grew up into a good person, inspite of him... Frieza would not have been so lucky, and would have died young as a result... I saved him from the path you're father would have set him on."

Cooler stared at the Doctor. Not being able to comprehend his dad getting his own son killed... for all his flaws, Cold was a good father.

Codex, Earth Kai:

- Based on the main world of the "Dragon Ball" franchise.

- Inspired by: "A Saiyan Family" by "rimera". The first time Goku brought the Dragon Balls together, he made a wish, to get his family back. So the Dragon brought him his Saiyan Family, some even back from the Dead.

- Also inspired by: "The Optimised Wish Project" by "GanHOPE326", mostly adapting the Lore from that fic, but also having Goku blessed with super intelligence, from hitting his head. Although he currently has very little formal education.
