A/N:

Got a cool idea of how to introduce Goku's birth parents... but realized it fit better here. Hope you all enjoy.

Please go back and read all new chapters, that begin with either "11th Hour" or "Interlude". As, given the original fic "What's in a Destiny", has a lot of interconnected moments with "Lord Uzumaki", I decided to combine the 2 fics into one.

9 Years After The Saiyans were Wished to Earth.

Raditz grumbled, as Kakarot followed him around town. The teenager pretending he didn't enjoy it... it was... interesting, actually hanging out with an annoying, know it all, little brother.

When King Cold was around, Kakarot had spent his whole life inside a tube... before being sent off to destroy Earth Kai.

Saiyan children were most dangerous when they were born. Without the firm hand of their mother, they would rage against the world... sometimes even daring to attack Frost Demons. Their masters found Saiyan children annoying... so King Cold locked the babies away.

Back on Planet Vegeta, Raditz hadn't had the chance to know Kakarot... but he had gotten very attached, from the moment he was born.

Mother had brought Raditz to the hospital, frequently. Reading stories to the brothers, or simply talking to them. Kakarot was kept in an eternal slumber, so not like he ever heard her... but that time was important to their mother.

Now, Saiyan babies ran wild, kept in check by their Elders. The Doctor insisted on it.

"What's that?" Kakarot gaped, spying an odd metal monster. Sitting in front of their house.

"I think, it's one of those 'car' beast, the humans ride." Raditz hesitantly stepped towards the beast. "We had a class on them," As warriors were taught early on, of the world around them. They had to be, given sometimes apprentices would accompany their Sensei on patrol.

Years ago, Grampa Gohan had filed to be made Raditz Official Sensei. Given the human had already proven himself, working alongside the Warriors, the council of High Class Saiyans allowed it.

"It's not actually alive," Raditz insisted... mostly for himself. "It's like a star ship. But tiny, and bound to the ground."

Kakarot marveled at it. Wondering how smart the onboard computer was. Those tended to vary in quality.

The car suddenly beeped at them, terrifying the boys. Who immediately threw a number of Ki blast at it.

"MY CAR!!!" a blue haired girl screamed. She had just come out of the old man's house, and used her remote to unlock her car. When two boy's suddenly attacked it with laser blast... although she didn't stop to notice they weren't holding guns.

"Boys!" Gohan scolded.

Bulma turned on the old man, "Your brats destroyed my car!" Then got an idea. "I'll forgo billing you, if you give me the dragon ball."

Gohan raised an eyebrow. "This is the Saiyan Territories... we don't use currency."

Bulma groaned, now seeing why the man was refusing to give her the dragon ball, despite the fortune she offered for it. The teenager's vast wealth meant nothing here. She'd have to come back later, and steal it.

Raditz blinked, "Why do you want Sensei's fancy rock?"

One Adventure Later:

Son Gohan glared, as Raditz far too calmly stepped into their Capsule House. Thankful Goku returned with him. Goku had been kind enough to leave a note, saying they were going with the blue haired girl, and would be back after Raditz made his wish.

"What were you two thinking!?" The old man demanded. Crossing his arms, and glaring down at the boys. "You steal my dragon ball, then run away for 3 months! I hope whatever you wished for was worth the tanning you have coming-"

Just as he started his rant, two adult Saiyans walked in... looking quite a lot like Goku and Raditz. They even had similar Ki signatures. Although the woman felt a good deal stronger then the male. She was, at the very least, a Solar System Buster.

Meanwhile, Raditz hung his head, more submissive then Gohan ever known him. "I had to wish them back..."

Gohan sighed, all the anger and all the worry, melting away. "You should have told me. I would have understood."

Raditz gave a light smile... while Bardock growled, "My son doesn't have to explain ANYTHING to you!"

Raditz gently touched his father's arm, "You promised..."

Bardock sucked in a breath, through clenched teeth. Then looked at the old human, a storm brewing behind the Saiyan's eyes. "I will allow you to fight for the role of Alpha."

Gohan raised an eyebrow, "Terms?" Knowing, some Saiyans, force the loser of such contest, out of the family.

Now Bardock clenched his fist, even tighter then his teeth. "You will be put in your place, in regards to how I raise my children, and respect my authority... but I will allow you to stay in the pack."

Gohan nodded firmly, "I'll alllow you a say in how the children are raised, but expect you to respect that what I decide is final." He had raised the boys... They were his sons, but he wouldn't deny the man a say. It wasn't the Saiyan's fault he wasn't around for the boys.

"Don't expect the same!" Bardock raged. Only for his mate to grasp his shoulder

The Saiyan woman spoke sternly. "My mate," she acknowledged, "We owe this man a great deal, and he has not neglected his duty in raising fine warriors. We should be grateful he took the boys in, not resentful."

Bardock gave an angry sigh. However, regardless which of them proved to be their pack's Alpha Male, it was actually the female who was in charge. That's just how Saiyans were, regardless of the Female's power level.

Bardock glared at the man... but he couldn't help but resent him. This man had gotten to raise his cubs. They respect and loved him... they looked up to him. But shouldn't that be a good thing? It wasn't like the man stole them... he raised the boys, when Bardock couldn't... and they had grownup well.

"Very well," Bardock relented, "You can have a say."

Gohan brought the "pack" deeper into the desert, that surrounded the city. Within a patch of large rocks... most of which were now broken.

Bardock was physically stronger then Gohan, but the Saiyan didn't have near the levels of Ki. Gohan was also faster. While both had a wide variety of techniques available to them. It was a closer match then either expected.

Their battle field was left in ruins. With the Saiyan woman smiling, as she stood by each of the children. Largely ignoring the men, besides making sure they wouldn't accidentally kill each other.

If she was honest, she wasn't surprised the fight ended with her Bardock on the ground. Bardock was a scientist, while Gohan clearly had experienced sparring with the Warrior Cast.

Gohan walked over towards the fallen Saiyan, knowing what was expected of him.

Reaching for the tail, wrapped around the man's waist like a belt, Gohan grabbed hold of it... and squeezed.

Bardock tensed, flinching into the dirt. He did his best not to cry out in pain, even if he did know this was coming.

"I am your Alpha," Gohan stated, as he was supposed to.

Bardock's fist crushed the dirt into diamonds. But he managed to say what was expected of him. "So you are," he acknowledged.

Gohan gave a firm nod, before releasing the tail, and helping the man to his feet. Bardock was forced to lean on his Alpha, just to walk. His cubs smiled at him, as their mother finally permitted them to run over.

"That was AWESOME!!!" Kakarot insisted. This being his first time watching pack members fight over the "Alpha" title. It was considered too personal a thing, for anyone outside the pack to witness.

Barack reached out, and ruffled the cub's quill-like hair. While he gave his mate a weak smile. Gohan passed the man to his mate.

"You happy now?" She smirked at Bardock.

The Saiyan practically begged, "Be quiet Susan."
