(Work in progress title) After a defeated battle with the godhand instead of feasting on his corpse the apostle were too terrified of guts and send him to a new universe where he believes he is making a difference but in reality he isn't. Of course guts is always a struggler… M for Berserk

3. Chapter 3

Rwby: A Gutsy world

A/n I don't have a plan for a paring, but the more this chapter is being written the more it's starting to look like a RubyXGuts story, if that's something that bothers you I'm sorry if it's too much you may leave now…for those who are still here onto the story

Chapter 3

Beacon

Guts walked to his room and eventually he heard ranting coming from the room across from him curious he opened the door and found it was in fact Team RWBY's dorm.

They looked at him as he stood in the door.

"Um can I help you?" Yang asked as she stood there topless. Guts didn't know it but they were arguing about who would get which bed while getting pajamas on.

"I'm yea two things one I'm just the room next door I was wondering what the noise was about." Guts said not noticing She was topless.

"See I told you you were being too loud Yang AND PUT A SHIRT ON!" Weiss screamed

"Ok ok so the rooms are not sound proof my bad!" Yang huffed as she put on her tank top again

"And the second thing?" Blake asked

"Oh yea. Well during the entrance exam my sword broke and I need to have it repaired?"

From under the sheets a pair of silver eyes bore themselves at the door

"Oh no now you've done it?" Yang murmured.

"Can't you fix it yourself?" Weiss asked

"I was never taught how." Guts said

Weiss was about to explode about how he couldn't not know about taking care of his own weapon when Ruby shot out of the bed and appeared under his nose.

"So you broke your sword because of recklessness and your looking for someone to help fix it huh?" Ruby asked almost angry like

Yang was floored while the others were shocked Yang had expected her to go hyper at the chance to look at a new weapon but instead she was chewing into the guy for…on second thought no that made perfect sense.

Guts smiled at her "yea I guess I am do you think you can help me?" Guts asked

Ruby crossed her arms and huffed "fine I guess but you owe me!" She said as she walked over to the bed and pulled the thumb grip of crescent rose back to reveal a Philips head screwdriver.

Before she walked out of the room " I'll be back with Guts to access the damage. To his weapon you girls get to bed we have class tomorrow." She said as she walked off

Guts followed her

They reached there way to the blacksmith station and Guts noticed Ruby's eyes lit up like jewels before they focused on there task and turned to Guts looking at them through steel.

"Alright show me your weapon." Ruby said

Guts reached over and produced the two broken pieces of the sword.

Ruby let out a wimper as she looked as if someone kicked a puppy.

"What has he done to you." Ruby said as she gripped both pieces of the blade and realized something.

"Wait a second I don't feel any of your aura in this blade." She said

"Huh?" Guts asked

"Are you telling me you fought Grimm with a run of the mill off the shelf sword?" Ruby asked not knowing either to be in awe or enraged.

"I'm are you telling me there is a difference?" Guts asked

Ruby's anger shifted from one of rage to one of shock. He didn't know.

Ruby sighed and began to speak.

"Ok simply put grimm "blood" is acidic to most metals meaning unless protected by some means the metal will grow weaker and weaker each Grimm killed. In order to prevent this many huntsman infuse there auras into the metal they craft their weapons out of. This protects the metal much like your aura protects you in a fight." Ruby said

"Ok That makes sense." Guts nodded

"Good. Now there are other techniques that cultures have used before they unlocked their aura however this is usually a coating that needs to be reapplied and is less consistent than the Aura method. The other thing about it is that infusing your aura to the weapon you gain an innate understanding with the weapon. Aura is the extension of one's soul. So by coating it with your aura your weapon becomes part of you." Ruby said

Guts nodded.

"I see that makes sense. So first how do we make a new weapon?" Guts asked

"Wait you don't want to remake this one?" Ruby asked

Guts shrugged "as you said I didn't infuse my aura into it so it's just a lump of metal. However I have an idea what we can do with it but first a new sword. Besides. That sword doesn't feel right sense I unlocked my aura I need a new one." Guts said

Ok I guess I can help you out what are your thoughts?" Ruby asked

"First it has to be a greatsword. Two it has to be heavy. I've always grown up with swords too big for me so that's what I'm use to." Guts said

Ruby nodded sure it was weird but if it's what he was use to who was she to argue.

"Third it must be able to slay a dragon." Guts said

"Ok what about mecha-shift and guns?" Ruby asked

"Huh?" Guts asked

"Many huntsman have there weapons change from a melee weapon to a range weapon. Example my weapon Crescent Rose is a high impact sniper rifle mixed with a scythe." Ruby said

Guts shook his head "no transformation. Just a basic sword… however… I'd like to make a metal gauntlet that I can change into an arm cannon." Guts said

Ruby smiled that seemed to be a very interesting weapon indeed.

"Alright I think I got it now what are we going to do with the broken weapon?" Ruby asked

"Well I was thinking of a belt of throwing knives that I can throw and then pull them back towards me." Guts said

Now that was a creative weapon.

"Ok, that seems quite doable, with some gravity dust." Ruby said

Guts nodded and got to work as he picked out the metal Ruby walked him through the process. And in the time there became a good black smith.

He finished each of the throwing knifes and handed them off to Ruby for her to put the gravity dust in.

While he was doing that she was also planning Gut's arm cannon. And the Dragonslayer v2. Using her semblance to do all three tasks at once.

Guts was surprised he got the entire weapons done by midnight

Guts strapped the belt of throwing knives over his armor as Ruby gave him a purple ring. "This is the gravity dust throw a knife then push some aura through the ring and the knife will return to the ring just remember to catch the knife." Ruby said

Guts threw a knife into the wall It dug into the wall and he activated the ring and the knife shot back to him he caught it.

"Excellent." Guts said as he sheathed the knife.

Ruby gave Guts a silver metal gauntlet like any normal battle armor.

"So the gauntlet is simply you have all range of motion with your fingers and just drop your hand down and a one shot cannon blast will shoot out." Ruby said

Guts smiled as he tested it unloaded it felt just like it was before but even easer because he had the use of the hand.

"And finally." Ruby said as she went over to hand the sword to guts but it was too heavy. " well here's the sword it's actually too heavy for me to pick up now. She said

Guts walked over and grabbed it. Pushing some Aura into it he lifted it up making the cloth covering it drop away.

Guts didn't know how but somehow she perfectly replicated the Dragonslayer it's thickness it's weight. Everything.

"It's Perfect." Guts said as he shouldered the Dragonslayer V2

Ruby smiled while Guts asked for a stupidly simple design. It clearly suited him. He looked like he had been using it for years.

"That's great. Well you can tell me how it feels tomorrow. I'm off to bed. I have class in ge morning night Guts

"Night Ruby." Guts said as he headed back to the dorm and fell asleep

The next day he awoke to hear the call of "to class!" Before guts awoke. And checked the time 7:55.

He got up. And got his armor on and headed out to test his new gear.

Guts had gotten funny looks all day. Which makes sense as he was the only one on campus wearing his combat gear instead of the school uniform.

Although to be fare he didn't have any classes today except combat class and the teacher said to wear combat attire for it so he figured it was ok.

What he didn't realize was the fact that on campus weapons were to be stored in the lockers so he got chewed out in front of the class for walking in with the Dragonslayer attached to his back.

"Ah thanks for joining us for class Guts." Glynda said

Guts nodded.

"Tell me is your locker broken?" Glynda said

"Not that I know of." Guts said

"Please in that case use it to store your weapons in we don't want to have an incident in the hallways don't we?" Glynda asked

Guts rolled his eyes but nodded "of course madam." He said

He wouldn't go anywhere without at least some weapon but she didn't need to know that.

However Glynda had other ideas.

"Seeing as your fully ready for combat why don't you come down and give us a demonstration?" She said

Guts nodded and made his way down to the arena.

He unslung the Dragonslayer and planted it down in the arena the force was enough to crack the floor.

Goodwitch looked irritated at this but said nothing as she turned to the rest of the class.

"Who here would wish to take on Guts?" Glynda asked

"I mean team CRDL is game but im wondering where the rest of the losers team is? Are they so good as to say they don't need to be here?" The leader of the team asked

This got people talking but just as Glynda was about to defuse the situation Guts spoke up

"I don't have a team. At this point they would just slow me down."

At this the crowd erupted "what?!" "No team?!" "DUMBASS YOU'RE NOT INVINCIBLE!" "let me at him let me put him in his place!" The crowd roared

The only two teams that didn't say anything were team JNPR and RWBY. Rwby because they know Guts combat capabilities and to be honest he kinda scared them. And JNPR or at least Pyrrha because that would be hypocritical.

Goodwitch looked over to Guts "I hope you know what you're doing." She said

"Ok we will have one person to come down and fight Guts." Glynda said

"No need." Guts said

"I'll fight all of them." He said with a wolffish smile.

Glynda was shocked but nodded "very well the battle of Guts vs teams CRDL, STAR, GOLD, VLOT, and TREE will begin. Teams please get your weapons and meet on the arena.

Behind Glynda Guts limbered up

Finally all 16 opponents got to the arena as Guts stood around the Dragonslayer

"The battle is about to begin everyone ready?" Glynda asked

"Begin!" She snapped

Guts reacted quickly grabbing Dragonslayer and taking a heavy swing and leaping into the air. And coming down on the group

"Scatter!" Someone yelled

Guts fell upon them and with a swing cracked the ground underneath him and with a backhand sent two people out of the arena by ring out.

"Holy shit!" Yang said

"That's one heavy weapon!" Blake said

Weiss looked over to Ruby who was drooling at the weapon.

"What did you do?" She asked

"Made the weapon he asked for." Ruby said

Several people charged at Guts and while he was able to parry every strike he couldn't counter because someone new would pop up in his preferire.

'Yes…this is what I live for…the swinging of my sword… the clashing of battle… this is my home.' Guts thought

Suddenly without even realizing it he had started to speed up. Moving quicker and quicker as he was activating his aura without realizing it.

Guts was a blur of motion not even his opponents could keep up. "Everyone get back keep him moving to tire him out!" Someone yelled

Only that Guts wasn't getting tired. He didn't slow.

Team Rwby and JNPR were at the edge of there seats waiting to when Guts would falter…

Except he never did. The only one not intently watching was Ruby. But that's because she could follow everything anyways.

'Wow Guts is moving as fast to keep up with me' she thought.

In the end the fight didn't last over 2 minutes as Guts came out victorious without a single scratch on him.

"Winner is Guts." Glynda said

Guts looked over at the students.

"You all did quiet well, but the issue is the fact your not coordinated. Each and every one of you have the strength to overpower me. Each and everyone of you have the speed to keep up with me, and each and everyone of you have the power to beat me.

"So why is it I am the only one standing while your lying on your back licking your wounds?!"

"Your learning to be huntsman but this is also a school, use this time to learn from your peers. Grow together, laugh together, fight, love and learn together, If you can't figure these things out then you don't deserve to be huntsman and you might as well go home." Guts said as he headed back

"Good speech Guts. However I have a few pointers for you as well." Glynda said

Guts stopped and waited for her assessment.

"Clearly your the best one here trained in combat I'll give you that. However I've noticed a few things from your fights I've seen. Your way too reckless, I've seen you tank hits that you clearly could have dodged just so you can get a good hit on your opponent. Don't get me wrong with your aura it's a clearly viable strategy. But only one or two of those at a time. You need to be more careful and pick and choose when you attack and best to attack to ensure your survival." Glynda said

Guts nodded

"Thank you professor I'll take these words to heart." Guts said as he left.

"Well at least one of us here is truly worthy of being a huntsman, and for all of you here. Pay attention to his speech. Your team is your lifeline. Take care of them and they will take care of you." Glynda said as the bell rang "class dismissed."

Team Rwby and JNPR stood there shocked at Guts speech.

"Wow…" Yang said

"He's right though." Pyrrha said as she stood up. Guts is powerful but he's not invincible. They got too cocky and paid the price for it." She said

"Yes says the invincible girl herself." Yang rolled her eyes teasingly.

However Pyrrha didn't take it as such and rounded on Yang "I'm not untouchable either. I went though hell to get to where I have been. But even I have much to learn." She said as she walked off.

Jaune sat there frozen thinking deeply about the message he heard from guts and the only thing resonating in his mind was four words

'I don't belong here…'

Later that night Guts was in his room looking out of the window when he heard voices above him. While he heard Jaune and Pyrrha argue.

Guts heard the revelations and kept silent. "…No, I don't! I wasn't really accepted into Beacon..." the sadness of Jaune's voice

"Wh-what do you mean?" Pyrrha questioned

"I mean I didn't go to combat school, I didn't pass any tests. I didn't earn my spot at this Academy! …I lied! I got my hands on some fake transcripts, and I lied!" He said admitting defeat

"What? But... why?" Pyrrha asked not out of anger or betrayal but out of worry

Jayne scoffed believing she didn't understand "'Cause this is always what I've wanted to be! My father, my grandfather, and his father before him were all warriors! They were all heroes! I wanted to be one, too. I was just never good enough."

Pyrrha slowly approached "Then let me help you!"

"I don't want help! I don't want to be the damsel in distress! I want to be the hero!"

Pyrrha stepped back shocked "Jaune, I-"

Jaune was on a roll though "I'm tired of being the lovable idiot, stuck in the tree while his friends fight for their lives! Don't you understand? If I can't do this on my own... then what good am I?"

Pyrrha attempts to reach out for his arm and console him, but he leans back from her touch.

"Just... leave me alone. Okay?"

Pyrrha looked away. Jayne couldn't hear it but Guts could from his room but it sounded as if she was holding back tears. "If that's what you think is best..."

Jaune sighed "…no I don't…" but he said it too low for Pyrrha to hear him as she walked away.

"Crap." Jaune said as he fell to his knees

"That was stupid of you." Guts said as he revealed himself.

"Guts I-." Jaune jumped shocked

"Save it." Guts snapped to make sure he could get his words in.

"You know I'm not from here…I don't mean I'm not from vale… I'm not of this world… the world I lived in was hell we had been at war for over a century. And I was drafted in the middle of it at the age of eight as my infant body was taken from my mothers corpse. I wasn't good at fighting to begin with my caretakers use it more as a way to relax by "beating up young and helpless Guts." But even so I prevailed I got better and I lived. So seeing you turn and spit on your ancestors legacy is a disgrace." Guts said

Jaune went to speak but Guts stepped forward. " listen to me no one starts out the best. Everyone starts out where you are now. Heck I did but here's the thing that's different from you and I… while I have more physical capabilities you have a lot of talent strategically and right now you just lost your best way to get better." Guts said as he turned away.

"One last thing I'll say. Each and every student I saw that I thought was not up to par I sent a note to the headmaster about them not being worthy and why. 90% of those who I told the headmaster about didn't make it to the launch pad. The other 10% I found out died in the forest… I had the same idea to tell him not to accept you but I didn't do you know why?" Guts asked

Jaune was shocked and couldn't formulate words so Guts countuned

"Because of your drive and will to get better. As well as your mental prowess. Don't make me regret not informing Ozpin that your not ready." Guts said as he walked away.

"W-why can't you help me?" Jaune asked

Guts stopped "simply put our combat styles are too different. Like I said, the best bet you have to improve besides long diligence work and a lot of pain is now angry at you. I'd suggest fixing bridges and a lot of groveling and maybe, Maybe she will agree to help. But if she's senseable she wouldn't… not until you actually learned… I wouldn't…" Guts said as he walked off and back to his room

Jaune sat down on the roof and looked up to the night sky.

"I really did fuck up…" jaune said but he also thought about the story Guts told him. About the century long war. "If he can do it so can I…" but first I need to apologize…" jaune said as he left the roof

Unknown to jaune Guts didn't reach his room and was on the other side of the door and his admission just confirmed Guts belief in Jaune.

Guts always had a distaste for the weak. For those who cower. For those who flee. Gambino certainly didn't help. But the thing is when Guts looked at Jaune he didn't see someone weak. He saw…himself, his drive to grow overpowered by his lack of skill but not repressed.

Still he would keep an eye on Jaune and his growth.

Guts looked as from the corner of his eye he saw a door shift but not creak he didn't need to even think about it to know that Cardin was on the other side.

'Probably thinking about blackmail opportunities…the lout.' Guts growled mentally. Now Cardin, that is Someone Guts could figure was weak. Brash, impulsive, not willing to even say anything for his own improvement. Guts haited everything about him and it seemed he would need to keep an eye on him.

Guts felt his scroll vibrate. And looked down to see a text from the Headmaster

"please come to my office and we can discuss your "weekly" assignment." -Oz

Guts stepped off the wall and headed to the headmaster's office. ready for anything

A few days later.

The teams of RWBY, JNPR, CRDL and a few others. Along with Guts and Goodwitch were walking in the forest of Forever Fall while Glynda explained the assignment

"Yes, students, the forest of Forever Fall is indeed beautiful. But we are not here to sight-see. Professor Peach has asked all of you to collect samples from the trees deep inside this forest, and both myself and Guts are here to make sure none of you die while doing so…"

"Wait you make it sound as if Guts doesn't need to collect any sap?" Cardin asked

Guts looked back and said " I don't." As he lifted his full jar of sap from his cloak for All to see.

"Thank you. Guts is here to act as my official go between for each of you. If there is an issue go see him. If he feels he is not up to the task he will come see me or otherwise delegate one of you to do so." Glynda said

"So why is it that we have two babysitters one of which being a student that is possibly younger than us?" Cardin asked.

"Because I have the responsibility to do so each of you fan out to a different section of the forest I'll allow you to decide who does which task. I'll come around and appear in and out as a patrol. And see if anyone needs any help." Guts said

Glynda nodded "very well Guts at this point should all go well I might have to request Ozpin put you on payroll as a Teachers assistant for me. You could clearly do my job just as well as I could." Glynda said softly to him. Being high praise indeed from Goodwitch. As she took her leave.

Jaune lead team JNPR to a tree and set up. "Equipment?" Jaune called out a checklist.

"Check!" Pyrrha said as she raised a spigot and jars.

"Ammo?" He said

"Yes we have our weapons Jaune." Ren rolled his eyes.

Jaune sighed "look I'm just trying to do my best as a leader the way I know how. Ok just roll with it? Please?"

Ren sighed "I've gotten 2 spare magazines for stormflower each holding 30 rounds each." He said

"I've gotten 10 extra grenades in my pocket." Nora said

"I've got 180 general order rifle ammo for myself." Pyrrha said

"Ok thanks for dealing with that now… where the camping equipment?" Jaune asked

"We went asked to bring any as this is only an hour trip." Ren said

"Yes but you never know when accidents will happen and we will be forced to make camp here. This is going to bug me now… well we will pray that we don't need it but next time at least bring something. Even an extra blanket and spell the different between freezing in the rain and waking up tomorrow." Jaune said

"Well said Jaune." Guts said as he jumped down from a tree behind him before eyeing Ren and the rest of the team. "Take this as a lesson. Anything can happen and it's best to be prepared than regret it afterwards." He said as he smiled and praised Jaune for the use of a checklist.

Ren nodded humbly as Jaune told the team his plan.

"Alright Know Each of us is to bring back a jar ourselves. But I don't like that we are undefended to that end. Pyrrha. Nora watch our flanks to check for any incoming Grimm, Ren and I will fill the containers." Jaune said

Pyrrha wanted to argue but even she had to admit it was a good plan. And Ren wasn't arguing probably because Nora would eat all the syrup if she was to get the sap.

So like that that was the plan they went with. Once again Guts had to commend them for thinking about safety instead of getting the job done quick.

Guts looked over to Team RWBY and saw they had taken the latter option although not without protection either. While one person was filling a jar the other three members were covering them. Before they switched off.

The only one that displeased him was Team CRDL who seemed content to sit back and watch.

Guts was about to head over and confront them when he heard Jaune sneeze.

"Achoo! Fuck! Sorry Ren I think I just found out I'm allergic to this sap. I'm going to take a walk to clear my nose then I'll be back Pyrrha your in charge until im back 5 minutes." Jaune said before he walked off

Guts was once again impressed. With Jaune he clearly took his speech he gave him to heart and while he couldn't speak of his combat abilities because he hasn't seen them it was something that was good.

However he did notice that Jaune was heading for the position of team CRDL who seemed to be holding a box that was shaking angrily.

He also noticed there were 6 jars of sap filled so two extra.

Guts kept a distance but close enough that he could interfere if things got bad.

Jaune was able to clear his nose soon enough and sighed "Ah finally able to breath again." He said he saw a shadow looming over him as Jaune turned to see Cardin

"C-Cardin?" Jaune asked

"Hey jauney boy. How's it going buddy?" Cardin asked

"W-what do you want Cardin?" Jaune asked shuddering at first but finding his voice at the end.

"Woah temperamental im just coming to say hi is that a problem?" Cardin asked

"For you saying hi usually means either taking my work, a punch, kick, or even more permanent bodily harm." Jaune said

Cardin stumbled back acting as if he had been hit. "Jauney? Y-your not trying to infer that I'm a bully, were you?" Cardin asked growing more hostile as he approached.

Jaune however didn't back down. "What do your actions say?" He asked

Cardin laughed "oh wow! Wow oh wow! What's new with you jauney boy. A confidence boost we'll still well be able to knock you down to size." Cardin said

Jaune didn't even have time to draw his sword as the other three members of the team pinned Jaune down. Cardin drew up his mace and went to smack him.

Guts was about to step out to intervene but surprisingly he caught Jaunes eyes. An eye that was full of steel with one clear message 'don't.'

Guts nodded and stepped away thinking to himself

'Very well Jaune show me what you can do.'

Jaune couldn't do very much. But to his credit he was pinned to the ground in a position that even Pyrrha would find herself hard to get out of.

Still Jaune fought and did so extremely well. Eventually even breaking the hold and sending Cardin back.

Jaune fell down on the ground next to the jars. And looked up to see Cardin charging.

Jaune in his haste grabbed two jars and threw both of them at cardin. One landed on Cardin's armor. The other hit him square in the face.

The glass did no damage to his face due to cardins raised Aura but the sap stuck to his hair skin and armor like glue.

He drew his hand through this hair and felt it tough and mangy he couldn't pull his hand away without pulling his own hair with it.

"Now you've done it!" Cardin growled as he stalked closer to Jaune.

Jaune however was able to get up and went for his shield only to have him knocked away by Cardin.

"You just don't give up do you Jaune? Your fucking worthless rag who can't fight! Can't think! And can comprehend his own fucking failure your a useless huntsman and even worse as a team leader! Quit dragging them down with you and let those who deserve to be huntsman take there place above you!" Cardin said as he hammered fist and fist into Jaune.

And just as Guts was about to intervene. An Ursa did it for him as it tackled Cardin off of Jaune.

Cardin looked up dazed as the Ursa sniffed his armor and head Cardin went to raise his Mace but the Ursa knocked it away. Just as when The Ursa raised itself to fall onto Cardin and kill him Jaune jumped over and hit it with his sword.

The Ursa turned away from Cardin and looked at Jaune who stood ready to fight. He banged his sword on the shield to make as much noise as possible to keep the Ursa solely on him to allow Cardin the time to escape 'come on take the bait'

However what Jaune didn't expect was another Ursa to come out and send Jaune flying and landing next to Cardin.

However Jaune refused to let Cardin be killed as he jumped up and protected him again from an Ursa strike.

Guts looked at Jaune's eyes and saw the plead for help. It was here that Guts lept out and attacked and killed the other Ursa.

Guts was in fact going to leap to the other Ursa only to see Jaune had killed it he also noticed the other students in the other tree line with Pyrrha lowering her hand.

Guts walked past as Jaune helped Cardin up "holy crap Jaune." He said

"Insult me all you want. Insult my family all you want. But don't Insult my team. Ever again." Jaune said as he walked off.

Cardin watched him walk off as Guts stood behind him.

"You know any lesser man wouldn't have thought for a second to leave you behind while they saved there skin. People like you… Jaune proved today that he has more than enough to become a huntsman, but you still have to show it…" Guts said as he walked off.

After the hour the teams made there way back to Beacon. While Glynda dismissed the class she sent Guts directly up to Ozpin to report what happened.

Guts did exactly that. Even commenting on how Jaune had impressed him on his first day here.

Ozpin nodded "so you saw that to?" He asked

Guts nodded before he asked after some time.

"Sir you told me after the ceremony that the numbers you dismissed from beacon were 90% of the candidates I told you were not good enough." Guts said

"And that the other 10% were people I thought were good enough and died in the forest yes I did and it was factual I can give you each name of the candidate that died. I regret now not listening to your advice." Ozpin said

"I'm not asking that but what I am asking is… if I had come to you with the Name Jaune Arc would you have sent him away if I had asked you too?" Guts asked

Ozpin have a telling smile as he took a sip of his coffee.

"No…no I would have not." He said

Guts smiled "then Sir let me tell you I'm glad you did not…" as he got up and left.

In the coming days Guts was in fact promoting to Teachers assistant in Goodwitch's combat class while still being considered a student. However most interestingly he did find himself appearing in other classes. Many of which were ones that interested him coincidentally all of the classes had been in were ones Where Ruby Rose was in at the time.

He also appeared in combat gear as well.

"Mr Guts?" Professor Port said as Guts sat down

"yes sir?"

"I do believe that Ms. Goodwitch told you that combat class was the only place to wear your combat gear?" Port said

"Oh yes sir my apologies. I happen to have come from combat class and after this one I will be going back to teach one in Madam Goodwitch's place. My apologies I'll go change now."

Professor port laughed "oh my apologies I forgot your listed as a TA! Please listen to my lecture I'm sorry but I only have seats by the door now." He said

"Non to worry this is fine now please continue this marvelous tale of how you killed a infant Goliath with a kettle and some string." Guts said

Guts sat in on History. Dust crafting, Grimm studies, and others. It was so prevalent that there was a rumor that Guts was stalking Ruby.

But of course it was just a luck like that.

Until one day when Guts was summoned to Ozpin office.

Guts opened the door and found Ozpin turned away

"You wanted to see me sir?" Guts asked

"Please sir." Ozpin said curtly.

Guts was confused Ozpin was not usally this shirt with him but he sat down nonetheless.

Ozpin turned and Guts saw he was in a very cold demeanor.

"Is there an issue?" Guts asked

"Yes Guts. There has been a rumor spreading among campus. That all the classes you've been going to to check out on. Happen to also contain one student. And the rumor is your stalking this individual." Ozpin said

That was a shock to Guts he didn't notice.

"Sir I honestly didn't know the real motive is that the classes are during the only times off that I'm not in with Goodwitch or your teaching me." Guts said

"So you can contest your not stalking Ms rose?" Ozpin asked

Guts widened his eyes "Ruby, fuck of course not! Yang would have my hide." Guts said

"As someone who takes out Supergrimm one first year doesn't seem much to handle Sisterly protective instincts or not." Ozpin said

Guts raised his hand " with all due respect Headmaster I swear to you I was not stalking Ms Rose and I wasn't even aware that she was in the classes I visited." Guts said

"Very well I'm not saying I don't believe you but I must kindly ask for you to not appear in the classes at least until the rumors die down." Ozpin said

Guts nodded "understandable Ozpin."

"Very good now I have a meeting with another student. Have a good day." Ozpin said

"No mission for this week?" Guts asked

"No, because coincidentally you've already been doing it even if you didn't know it." Ozpin said

Guts rolled his eyes "so you did want me to get close to Ms rose. But your also ranting at me for doing so." Guts hissed

"I didn't say that, merely that you were doing it, and not knowing it, and unknowingly creating a rumor that may sever your relationship with the two of you, but we must see how she reacts." Ozpin said as the door opens and Ruby rose steps out,

'Oh fuck' Guts swore to himself,

Ruby sat down in the chair "you wished to see me headmaster?" She asked

"Yes Ms Rose, would you like anything to drink?" He asked

"No thank you." Ruby said cheerfully.

"I'll take my leave Headmaster." Guts said as he headed to the door,

"You can stay if you want!?" Ruby said suddenly.

Guts snapped around and looked at her silver eyes, they held a pleading hope for him to stay.

'God damn it.'

"If that's alright with the headmaster." Guts said

"Of course." Ozpin said without hesitation.

Guts grumbled 'cheeky bastard, if he didn't know better he would say that the headmaster was trying to push him and Ruby together. Which would make sense a good reason for him to be protective of her because she's his girlfriend. That is if he wasn't technically 10 years Ms Rose's senior.

Guts sighed and leaned on one of the supports for the office. With a glare he sent to him.

Ozpin smiled and looked to Ruby.

"Now please be aware your not in trouble but I've gotten some news of a rumor spreading and I wished you knew if it made you uncomfortable." Ozpin said

"You mean the mormonic one about Guts supposedly stalking me?" Ruby asked

Both Guts and Ozpin were silent before Guts couldn't hold it in a let out a chortle.

"She's got ya there Oz." Guts said

"Yes…I do believe you are right my friend. Yes Ms Rose that is the rumor I speak of I take it from your announcement that you are not bothered by it." Ozpin asked

"That is correct headmaster. Let it be known though I'm Unbothered by it because I know it is false Guts just happens to be in the right place at the wrong times and jealous students are all pinning for him to try to kick him out. It's quiet stupid and to be honest if I find out who started the rumor I'd have to get crescent rose to nuder them." Ruby said in a low hiss

Guts smiled at how protective Ruby was of him it made him feel happy that someone could care so much for him even when he spent so little time around her. And honestly tried to avoid her not out of malice but of protection.

"I don't think it's a good idea to threaten bodily harm to students in front of the headmaster Ruby." Guts said

"Oh I'm sorry I clearly just started daydreaming in the middle of our conversation and did not hear about that last part perhaps I should get an early nap in." Ozpin said

Guts rolled his eyes at the clear acting he was doing for obvious legal purposes but still.

"Is there anything else you wanted to talk to us about?" Guts asked

"No, I believe that is it. You two kids have a good weekend." Ozpin said

Guts smiled and headed to the door and was surprised to see Ruby walking right next to him… a bit too close for "friend" space.

'Does she fancy me?' Guts asked of course he had to figure this out himself before anything.

Guts didn't know it but he had in fact walked Ruby to her dorm. "Well here you go." Guts said

"Thanks. Hey, apparently Weiss wants to go into Vale tomorrow and I'm wondering if you'd like to join us?" Ruby asked

Guts should say no he had the right to. But those damn silver eyes. If she wanted to she could rule the world and have the world wrapped around her finger.

"Sure what time should I meet you at the Airbus?" Guts asked

Ruby was about to respond when from the dorm there was a yell from Yang of

"IS THAT MOTHERFUCKER OUT THERE!?"

suddenly the door was kicked open with such force it sent Ruby flying.

Guts reacted instantly and jumped forward to catch her which he did. As Yang stomped straight at Guts and went to throw a haymaker at him.

"Normally he would just dodge, lift Dragonslayer and crush Yang. However Yang is Ruby's sister so that is understandable. However the fact that her rage nearly happened to injure her sister that was unacceptable. So instead against the odds instead of letting her vent and hit him. He gave into his anger and caught the fist dead.

Yang was shocked as she processed what just happened. Weiss and Blake were also in awe.

Guts however was pissed. He raised to his full height. Which was eye level to Yang honestly but with him radiating the anger he was he felt like a giant to her so much so Yang gulped in fear.

However much he wanted to, he didn't raise his voice he spoke softly and calmly and that made it all the more terrifying.

"I get the sisterly instincts I really do. You heard the rumors and acted to protect her. However when your rage threatens those you wish to protect, that is where I draw the line. I've made plenty of mistakes like that and doing so costed me all that I once knew. Don't make my same mistake. I see so much of me in you, your anger, to the willingness to protect others. Take care of them but don't control them or lose yourself into your hate." Guts said as he let go his hand moved over to Ruby who was still leaned against his arm. Stiff as a board.

'She's not asleep but I…oh hell she really does like me…shit… no later first priorities.' He said to himself

He stood up and gently gave Ruby to Yang. "Good night." He said as he headed to his room to sleep.

The next day Guts woke up and saw a message from his scroll

"Hey sorry about last night. I gave Yang a stern talking to about what happened but she said you already spoke about it…thanks. Yang is a great sister but she's overwhelming at times. Anyways we are at Vale I'm sorry we didn't wait for you but apparently Weiss got impatient. (First for me too I know) tell me when you get here and we can try to find a place to locate each other." From Ruby

Guts sighed and laid back down he checked the time 10:07 Guts got dressed and headed to Vale.

He got there and it was his first time actually entering the city. When Qrow brought him to Beacon they took a direct airlift to it and passed by the city all together he got a good look at the city from the sky but being here it's different.

"Huh looks a lot like what Rickert described of Falconia." Guts said to himself. As he walked down the road to explore.

He got to a spot and noticed police tape and a few officers filling out paperwork.

"Yeah yeah come on Joel let's get this paperwork done so we can grab another cup of joe." The first cop said

"What happened here?" Guts asked

"Oh well look if it isn't mr vigilante here. Listen we don't have time to explain every minute detail of our lives like we did to those 4 girls earlier." The cop named Joel said

"You know I think they were huntsman." The other cop said

"Huntsman!? please they were being lead by a 15 year old either rankles skipping class from signal or something I believe." Joel said

"Do you have any idea where they went?" Guts asked

"No go away!" Joel said however his buddy nodded "yeah they headed back down main streets and after a stowaway monkey faunas."

Guts nodded and took his leave.

He walked until he found an alleyway with roof access and climbed up he would have an easier time looking for Ruby and the others from here.

After a bit he found. The team arguing about something or at least Blake and Weiss were ranting to each other about something when he approached.

"Hey what's up?" Guts asked

Blake and Weiss were to busy arguing but Ruby and Yang waved to him

"Not much Blake and Weiss are talking about fanuas rights and how the white fang are more victims than terrorists." Yang explained.

"True if your talking about 10 years ago however once the founder stepped down it's clear as day that the white fang went off the deep end." Guts said

"And who are you?" A girl with black and green pants. And a white shirt asked

"Names Guts." He said

"Are you a firend of Ruby's?" The girl asked

"Yes Penny, yes he is."

"Friend Ruby your heart rate has increased drastically are you alright I have noticed it occurred when your around friend Guts-." Penny said while Ruby was waving at her frantically to shut up.

Guts smiled and noticed that Blake and Weiss were still ranting. Hey want to go get something to eat I kinda just woke up so I'm kinda hungry." Guts said

Just then his stomach growled to confirm that story.

"I think you and Ruby should go ahead I'll stay with these two and make sure they stay safe." Yang said

"Yes I must be getting going as well it was nice to meet you all firends. So many in one day!" Penny said as she jumped for joy before running down an alleyway.

"Well she's…something…" Guts said

"Yep but she's a good firend." Ruby said before her stomach rumbled.

"Wow that's loud! I heard it from here." Yang teased

Ruby spun around blushing like a tomato "YANG!"

Yang laughed " kidding you two go get food. And remember don't do anything I wouldn't do!" Yang said

Ruby blushed harder at the implication but then smiled and went to tease her back "you mean bust into a nightclub pop the bartender's jewels and do more property damage than a horde of charging Grimm?" Ruby asked for clarification

However Yang didn't take the bait and brushed her off "Hey it's the thought that counts." She said

Ruby rolled her eyes and joined Guts and leaned onto him. "So where are we getting our food mister?" Ruby asked

Guts smiled. "How about anywhere you want my lady?" Guts said

Ruby pulled away and lightly smacked his arm "now your just covering for yourself." She said

Guts shrugged "guilty…however in my defense this is the first time I've actually been to Vale." Guts said

"You can explain later than tell me how do you feel about noodles?" Ruby asked

Guts raised an eyebrow but waved her to go ahead

They ended up at a small shop called A simple wok.

Guts and Ruby sat down across from each other in a wooden booth the floor was dead quiet however Ruby could hear yelling in the kitchen apparently there was s game or something on and a betting pool was set.

"Not the best choice you made for a first date setting Ruby." She muttered to herself.

Guts tilted his head but didn't comment. There orders were two of the basic bowls. The owner nodded and headed off to make the meals

"So tell me. How did you get yourself into beacon?" Ruby asked

"Well funny thing I found myself awoken in the snow in the forest. And a man rescued me." Guts said

"Ok ok so you happen to have been rescued by my uncle Qrow. And after impressing him with your combat skills he brought you here. Ok the one question is… how the fuck did you end up on patch Naked with only your cloak in the middle of a Grimm forest?" Ruby asked

Guts…had to answer to that. He couldn't tell her about his past life. Heck her uncle barely believed it. And Ozpin only slightly believed it there was no way Guts could mention the Godhand, Casca, or the band of the Hawk to Ruby.

Instead he just shrugged "let's call it a drunken night out." Guts said hoping his smile was believable

Ruby rolled her eyes and sighed

"No wonder you got along so great with my Uncle." Ruby said

"Yea but I think he stopped for a bit after I saved his life." Guts said

"You saved his life?" Ruby asked

"It's one of the reasons he brought me here." Guts said

Ruby was impressed about Guts saving his Uncles life. She had idolized her uncle. And said as much. And now that Guts looked at it, it did seem remarkably similar.

"So what have you been doing? I mean your technically a student but also a teachers aid? That's impressive I even hear your teaching a few classses." Ruby said

Guts shrugged "yea but mostly first and younger years I only basically correct forms and oversee fights. But it's good and technically I'm getting paid for it so it works." Guts said

"Wait your getting paid for it normally Huntsman only get paid after school Is done we take on a few missions shadowing huntsman but that's usually considered like an internship kinda thing." Ruby said

"Yeah from what Ozpin said my role was kinda like a paid internship only because legally while I'm here as a technicality as a student I can't be factuality until I leave. And because bureaucracy I can't quit becoming a student just to be hired on full time until I take four years. So it's either I sit in boring classes twiddling my thumbs as I could face monsters twice as bad as the Grimm or I make a different here. The choice is kinda obvious."

Ruby nodded and finished her soup when a bout of screaming was heard on the otherside of the door with some gunfire.

"Sounds like some gang violence." Ruby said as the owner collected there bowls.

"True my shop kinda skirts the lines of the nice and rough part of town. So many gangs find themselves crossing paths here. However as I know it the inside here is considered a safe zone so." He said

Suddenly there was a crash as the door was busted in and a gang stomped in

"Hey no violence in my store. You can do it outside as much as you want but we agreed none in here-." The shopkeeper said

"Shut up grandpa!" The leader said as he stepped forward. Towards Guts and Ruby. He leaned down and talked softly Ruby leined back away from his foul breath but Guts remained impassive

"I saw you on the road walking over here. I don't think you noticed but this is our territory and you need a tribute before we pass. Only a $5 tip per year. Pretty reasonable. However there are other ways of paying as well." He said as he caressed Ruby's cheek pervertlily

Until he felt Guts knife under his throat.

"We aren't paying. And I don't give a damn. Now you let her go and back off or I will cut your balls off and feed them to you." Guts said

"Why you?!" The boss said before Guts clenched his fist and threw him across the room sending him through the wall. " I'll pay for that if you just pay for food." Guts said casually ruby just sat there stunned as did the other gang members.

"You…you'll pay for that." One of the gang members said

Guts huffed and turned to Ruby "sorry you have to see this…" as he stood up

"Doubt it… see where I had come from I had a moniker something to instil fear into those who would oppose me and from what I've heard the name still lingers…My name is Gut's and I'm The Black Swordsmen."

"Heh you think we're scared of little pet names COME HERE!" Two charged at Guts at once one leaping over a table to get to him Quicker

Guts just drew Dragonslayer and drop it down.

Guts broke the table and cut both gang members in half as he instilled fear into them.

"H-holy…" one of them said

"Be very warned… my sword has gotten very dull. However it's 5 times as thick and does 50 times as much damage as a normal sword. You better pray you die quickly or this will be painful." Guts said

"FUCK THIS IM OUT!" The gang members said as they fled.

Guts sighed as he walked over to the shopkeeper. And dropped a pile of Lein on the table around about $500.

"For the table and the wall." Guts said as he walked back over to look at Ruby.

To his surprise she wasn't looking horrified at the dead bodies like he expected. But packing and checking everything. Getting ready to go.

"Are you ok?" Guts asked

"No not entirely, don't get me wrong I've seen dead bodies. And I'm use to killing. Probably the effect on the Grimm I've had when I first saw them as living things…" Ruby said

Guts nodded "very well let's go." He said as they left and headed back to beacon. As they got a text from Yang saying they were there.

Guts brought the both of them back to the room and Ruby opened the door to hear from Weiss.

"I'M A VICTIM!" every night Id come home to hear my yhe whitefanv had stolen another shipment of dust. Another official killed. And each day my father would come home furious. Which made a very difficult childhood. So you wonder why I'm angry at the white fang, it's because there nothing but Thieves murders and Criminals!" Weiss ranted

It was here that Blake snapped

"Well maybe we were just tired of being pushed around?!"

And after a second to process what she said she ran past Ruby and Guts to get as far away as possible. Ruby screamed after Blake

"Blake please come back."

Guts was furious. Not at Blake but at Weiss. She thinks she knows the meaning of difficult childhood. He growled

Guts put a hand onto Ruby's shoulder. "Ruby there's nothing we can do for now." He said

Ruby nodded but still distraught guts helped her up into her bed Weiss was huffing at herself. Once Guts was settled he shut the door. And stood before them Dragonslayer out acting like a sentery.

"As of right now the situation has become untenable. For the rest of the night I'm putting the remains of Team RWBY on house arrest until further notice do not leave this room until I get back and give you further instructions. Ruby as leader, I must request you give a report about the confrontation, how it started and what was said, Yang can you fill in the periods that me and Ruby were absent and please send it to me." Guts said both Yang and Ruby nodded as Guts sent a glare to Weiss before a softer look at both Ruby and Yang before he left the room and shut the door.

"I don't think Guts like you very much Ice queen." Yang said

Ruby pulled out her scroll and started typing

Weiss huffed "rude." As she turned away to get ready for bed. "I wonder why he didn't want my form of events.

"Probably because he didn't want to have to shift through your biases." Ruby hissed as she typed out the report. And as she typed she got more and more frustrated. She was supposed to be a leader and she couldn't stop a damn argument from breaking out.

"Shit I can't write this Yang can you-." Ruby was shocked when she got a message from Yang with an audio file attached apparently she had the clever idea to record it all.

Ruby sighed and worked tirelessly to transcribe the audio file before she sent both. With a request to tomorrow have permission to give team RWBY house arrest parole to search for there wayward teammate.

He didn't respond to her.

Guts in the meantime made his way to the headmaster's office sending a message to him via scroll.

"Headmaster there's an urgent issue going on with team Rwby. I've secluded them to house arrest I'll be at your office in a bit to explain." -Guts

A few moments later Guts entered Ozpin office at the top of the tower to the waiting look of not only Ozpin but Glynda too.

"Headmaster. First off We're you aware of Ms belladonna's ties to the white fang?" He asked

"Former ties." Ozpin said insisting also telling Guts in as few words as possible why he accepted her to this school.

Guts smiled the old man never missed anything, "very well. The situation that has occurred is her revealment of her past to her teammates, causing her to flee into the night." Guts explained.

"Damn it if Ms belladonna knew about the protected measures we could have employed she might have been more willing to stay on campus." Glynda said

"That is true. However I don't think we have anything much to worry about." Ms Rose has sent me a transcript of the argument as well as an audio file. With the request they given parole of there house arrest to search for there missing teammate." Guts said

"I don't see a problem with that." Ozpin said

"Nor do I it's the weekend after all altogether I do have a question, what possessed you to put them under house arrest?" Glynda asked

"Several reasons one. They already lost one teammate I didn't want them to lose another so soon even if it is for a search party. two tensions are high and they wouldn't be good at searching right now anyways. And Weiss needed to calm down from everything." Guts explained.

Glynda turned from skeptical to impressed at his assessment and nodded "very well I will condone the arrest." Glynda said

"I'd recommend this is not put on the record. Ruby and the team dynamic as a hole doesn't need to have a criminal charge placed on her record right yet." Guts said

"However she still failed to stop the argument from getting out of control." Ozpin said not incriminatingly but just pointing it out.

"True but Ruby and I left the group for a bit and put Yang to oversee the two from what I hear the argument started around that time." Guts said

Ozpin nodded "very well team RWBY will not have a blackspot on there record in replacement for one thing." Ozpin said

Guts nodded

"Seeing as you said you took Ms rose away from her leadership duties. You also have some blame on this incident. Not enough to blacken your record but still as a result. You will be joining the other members of Team RWBY in search of Ms belladonna." Ozpin said

Guts nodded "that is fair Headmaster." He said

"Very well inform the team there house arrest will be resented by sunrise tomorrow there they and you will going off to search for Ms belladonna." Ozpin said

Guts nodded and left.

Glynda sighed

"I don't understand why you punished Guts for this he clearly had nothing to do with it and it wasn't his place to interfere in the team dynamic." Glynda said

"True but my reasons for ordering Guts to join team RWBY weren't as a punishment." Ozpin said

Glynda sighed "very well headmaster I'll take my leave."

The next day Guts and team RWBY walked down the road of vale calling to Blake.

"Blake! Blake!"

"Blake!"

Weiss you're not helping!"

"You know who could help in the search, the police."

Ruby groaned "Weiss."

"What I'm not wrong!" Weiss said

"Technically you are. The Huntsman and police are different to each other this is an internal Huntsman affair and the police are legally obligated to stay out." Guts said

Weiss was shocked but growled and countuned

"I can't believe it a white fang member right under our own noses." She said

"Weiss we don't know that." Yang said but weiss kept ranting

"I mean she must be good if she snuck past Ozpin and professor Goodwitch." She said

"Who said she did?" Guts asked

"Well…how else could you explain that she got in with being affiliated with a terrorist group." Weiss said

Guts huffed and walked off clearly understanding that weiss wouldn't understand even if he slapped it in her face.

"Blake!" Ruby said again

"This is getting us no where we should split up and find her quicker." Guts said

"Sure and once we do find her you will realize I was right." Weiss said

"And I think Weiss's hair looks wonderful today!" Penny said from behind causing Ruby to jump

"GAH PENNY WHERE DID YOU COME FROM?!"

"Hey guys. What are you up to?" Penny asked

"We're looking for our firend Blake." Guts explained

"Oh the fanuas girl?" Penny asked

They blinked as they wondered how she knew before Ruby asked

"Umm how did you know?"

"Um the cat ears?" Penny asked

"What cat ears she wears a bow…" Ruby said before the revelations hit her.

"She does like tuna a lot." She said

"So where is she?" Penny asked

"We don't know we were just looking for her." Guts said as he noticed the others were gone 'fuckers.'

"Here you can join us if you want." Guts said

"Really?" Ruby and Penny asked Penny happy being included and Ruby shocked she looked around and saw that Weiss and Yang had indeed left causing her irritation to rise.

"Yea come on let's go." Ruby said in a cheerful tone as the three of them headed down the the road.

It was just becoming dark when they heard an explosion near the docks and a smoke cloud rising from it

"Oh no… Guts" Ruby said

"Yea I see it too let's go!" Guts said

"Stay here Penny!" Ruby said as the two rushed off toward the docks

Penny looked and from her robot eyes she saw past the crates and locked onto 3 signals one being Blake. One being an unknown Faunas and one being Roman Torchwick.

Penny gasped and ran after them towards the dock

Roman was fighting a 2V1 and holding his own quiet well between Sun and Blake while he allowed the white fang time to gather the dust crates and send them off.

Roman was getting annoyed but finally he separated Blake from her weapon and had the monkey bastard at gunpoint.

"Hey!"

Ruby stepped to the edge of the wear house and stuck Crescent Rose In

"Oh hi little red isn't it past your bedtime?" Roman said

"Ruby are these your firends?" Penny asked as she followed them to the roof

"Penny get back!" Ruby said

Roman used this opportunity to send a flare at the two of them.

"However Guts blocked it with his metal Hand. Crushing the explosion. And throwing it back sending it with his own explosion at Torchwick's feet which blew him backwards. "Gah!"

Guts stood up "you two focus on the white fang and prevent them from stealing anymore dust. That prissy guy in white is mine." Guts said and before Ruby could say anything on the contrary he jumped off the roof.

Guts rushed forward towards Torchwick intent to cut him in half with Dragonslayer with his full weight beh the strike.

However he found his sword being blocked by his Cane

"What?" Guts asked as he jumped back

"Impossible…I mean it's impressive but how is your cane able to block my sword?" Guts asked

"It's not really that impressive Kid." Roman said taunting

"No it really is. I've been known to cleave Armies down with this blade. horses heavy armor nothing is safe. Yet you blocked it with a dainty cane so I must ask who are you." Guts said

"My name is Roman Torchwick. And I must say I'm impressed your clearly worthy of your moniker your the one that was recently revealed. So you are the one they call the nigh mythical Black swordsmen.

I do wonder, rumor has it that your a man of great rage and terrible power…is that why She left you?" Torchwick asked

Guts was startled "Who?" Guts asked asked

"You know exactly who… did it sting to see her enjoying herself to the man you followed for 5 years of your life. Someone you strove your hardest to find your friend." Torchwick taunted

"Did it hurt when she left you after so long pushing yourself to help her?" Torchwick said

"Shut up." Guts said his aura growing darker as his rage built up inside him. He was gone. They had no place here he was happy. HE can't bother him.

"They are always watching my friend you know that. And one day he might visit you again. In person…" Torchwick said

Guts Snapped and he charged at Roman

"SHUT UP!" Guts roared

"Oh shit!" Roman said as he rolled away from Dragonslayer as it slammed down where he once was the attack was so strong it cleaved a crack into the barge down to the water level.

Torchwick sat down, his legs gave out under him. This kid was a fucking monster and he just pissed him off.

Unknown to Guts his rage and attack induced panic in vale however instead of leading Grimm it was worse.

Instead behind Torchwick a portal opened and out stepped a man in hulking armor with a scale shield and heavy Warhammer. Grunbeld was back.

Guts looked over shocked

"Grunbeld!?" Guts asked

"Hello Blackswordsmen. Ready for round two?" He asked

"I'm impressed that your not a Grimm form." Guts said

"You can thank your rage for that now I can fight you as a worthy opponent and not being bogged down by the black sludge." Grunbeld said

Torchwick didn't understand a word he was hearing but he knew that he was way out of his league. And he did the sensible thing… he ran.

Team RWBY was unable to stop him as the white fang got away however they were more focused on the fight at hand.

Grunbeld charged and took a mighty swing with his Warhammer at Guts who was able to block it with Dragonslayer and being amplified by his aura did nearly no damage.

"Impressive…you've clearly gotten a lot stronger sense we last met. And without that pesky armor either still your no match for a member of The Band of the Hawk!" Grunbeld said as he swing again

Team Rwby watched as Guts and grunbeld fought.

"Ruby, do you understand any of this?" Blake asked

"No but clearly they have a history. And he is clearly someone we shouldn't mess with." Ruby said

Yang punched her fists together not really caring.

Until Guts went flying past them blowing clean through 3 containers

"GUTS!" Ruby cried

"PERISH BLACKSWORDSMEN!" Grenbeld said as he fired a cannon shot after Guts which ignited the dust and sent off a massive explosion

"GUTS!" Ruby cried

"Holy shit RUBY WE NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE!" Yang yelled clearly terrified at this.

Ruby was in shock thinking Guts was dead no man could survive that explosion.

Until

"ARGHHHHHHHHH!"

Grunbeld was walking away when he heard the roar and he turned

"Impossible…"

Walking out of the fire Barely a scratch on him was Guts looking mighty pissed

"If you have the Time to go back to the Hawk. Give him a message for me. I'm coming for that fucker! AND I! WILL! HAVE! GRIFFITHS! HEAD!" Guts roared as he fell to his knees

Grunbeld watched in appreciation as the Blackswordsmen withered on the ground. Before he noticed something. His body started to turn black and with a distinct pattern.

The process was slow but it was clear Guts body was naturally forming the berserker armor.

"That is powerful magic to collect such a powerful cursed object across different planes. Or is it a bastardization of it? I guess we will find out." Grunbeld said

Guts face snapped up as the triangle muzzle fell over him and the transformation was complete. He let out a angry Scream of Rage and charged

Grunbeld loaded another cannonball into his shield and fired.

However Guts with the power of the Berserker Armor as well as his aura. Sent the cannonball back with a massive swing which hit Grunbeld in the gut

"STRIKE!" Yang cheered

Guts didn't let up he jumped into the air and went to cleave in Grunbeld's skull where just as before he raised his Warhammer to block it

Where as before guts barely got through grunbelds hammer and made a service hit on him this time Guts cleaved right through the hammer as well as cut the arm off.

"ARGH!" Grunbeld screamed

The rest of team Rwby was horrified as Weiss made a visible gasp.

Guts turned his head to them and let out a predatory growl and stalked towards them.

"Shit he's coming this way!" Ruby yelled

You think we can take him Ruby he just cut a giants arm off!" Yang yelled

"We have to do something!" Ruby yelled

However they didn't as Guts walked towards them Grunbeld reattached his arm and transformated into his dragon form.

"WHAT THE FUCK!?" Yang cried as she saw grunbeld towering overhead

Guts was sent flying off to the side with a flick of his tail as guts crushed another container.

"Well great that's even more property damage." Weiss said

Guts jumped off he container lifted it up and threw it the dragon.

"$100,000, $200,000." Yang said teasing Weiss about the property damage cost.

As the container crashed into Grunbeld, Guts shot his cannon at the crate blowing it up

The explosion popped eardrums as Guts charged forward! Grunbeld in his giant form was dazed the explosion knocked him out of his form he was done fighting.

He didn't even notice Guts hand come up behind to behead him.

Ruby gasped and turned away as Guts didn't hesitate and executed him.

His body did vanish as well as the blood but it still meant that 3 of the four witnessed a live execution on possibly the closest thing they will see of an actual human.

Guts let out an angry roar of victory before he started to walk back towards the group.

This time is walk was different it wasn't hunched forward or angry. But passive however the group wasn't taking any chances as Yang held onto Ruby protectively. And Blake and Weiss got there weapons ready.

However guts shook his head and suddenly the Darkness around his head faded

"Ah, so that how's I do it…" Guts said

"G-Guts?" Ruby asked

"…Yeah." Guts said tiredly before he suddenly pitched forward.

"GUT'S!" Ruby cried as she ran over to him.

"That brute nearly tired to kill us and she still considers him a firend?" Weiss said

"Somethings never change." Blake said

"True…like this team." Weiss said

"Yes Weiss I wanted to you to know I'm no longer associated with the white fang and I find there actions deplorable."

"Yes I kinda figured. It took Gut's ranting for me to finally understand." Weiss said before she looked over to Sun.

"You I'm still not sure about!" She said.

"Guys he's not waking up!" Ruby said

"Freeze!" The police officer said

"Were huntsman." Yang said arms still raised

The officer nodded and lowered his gun. "Fare enough what happened to him?" He asked

"Let's say he hulked out and most of the damage is his fault. Before he passed out." Yang said

"Is he a huntsman too?" The officer asked

"Yes."

"Very well I'm going to have to file a report but I won't take you into custody. He clearly needs medic first. Get out of here, I don't want to see you here." The officer said

At beacon Ozpin was by his deck looking as his scroll. And the news feed about the docks incident. And a message from Qrow

"Queen has pawns."

Before he could respond Glynda sent an urgent message.

"Ozpin Guts is in the medical wing in critical condition!"

Ozpin stood up and headed down to the medical wing as quickly as possible.

When he got there team RWBY was waiting outside the room

"Team RWBY it's glad you're all back together. Now let's find out what happened shall we?" Ozpin stepped in followed by team RWBY and saw Guts hooked up to the medical equipment but tossing and turning like mad.

"He's delicious please get back!" One of the doctors said before turning to the nurse "Gas him!"

However the Gas only made him more fritful. As he tossed harder and nearly broke the bed.

Only to suddenly let out a massive scream which forced everyone to cover their ears. Guts woke up and shot up knocking over a ton of medical equipment. As he woke up from his nightmare.

He looked around and got his baring before he processed to tear off all the medical equipment

"Woah woah woah easy easy buddy your ok your safe!" The doctor said trying to keep the equipment on so they can monitor guts but he shoved him away

"Don't touch me!" He yelled

"Guts!" Ruby cried as she ran over to him

"Ruby?!" Guts asked looking up as she got there she hesitated with his outburst of not to be touched she feared his reaction.

"He took the choice from her as he hugged her with both arms as tight as he could

"Thank god your safe!" He cried into her shoulder

Ruby was shocked as was everyone else Guts was well known not a touchy figure. But here he was blatantly hugging Ruby.

Ruby didn't say anything as she felt him shaking. And just allowed him to calm down.

"Well now that that is settled." The doctor said

After getting Guts situated Ozpin sat down to talk to Guts about the debrief.

As Guts explained what happened Ozpin nodded

"Hmm it sounds like you unlocked your semblance Guts?" Ozpin said

"Semblance? Really? that's amazing!" Ruby cheered.

"Pretty terrifying but I also have to agree." Weiss said

"I wonder what's the physical adjustment it does. To angry to die?" Yang asked

Guts smiled "something like that."

"Guts I must ask that you explain what happened fully at the docks. You explained Torchwick got away but that doesn't cover the awaking of your semblance or the damage to the docks." Ozpin said

"Are you sure you want them here?" Guts asked

Ozpin eyes shot open in shock a blaintent use of magic really?

"Oh no mister your not getting rid of us that easily! No your telling us exactly what happened and how the hell that giant came out of no where." Ruby said

"Giant?" Ozpin asked

"An apostle." Guts explained. Ozpin sat back and nodded until guts finished.

"A real one."

"Ok ok can someone explain to me what is going on." Yang asked

Ozpin looked over to Guts and asked "do you trust them?"

Guts nodded "and JNPR with my life."

Ozpin nodded "very well I suppose I'll fast track a few things. Team RWBY if you will please bring team JNPR to my office we need to have a conversation." Ozpin said

Team Rwby nodded and left leaving Ozpin and Guts alone. "I've been told by the doctor he wants you to stay here for the night. In the morning we will tell Team's Rwby and Jnpr.

"About her?" Guts asked

"No but about magic, we will infer her and talk about the threat she may pose. But we cannot do anything about it now please don't mention the magicof this world you can explain the magic your yours and how you got here but let me explain this worlds magic.." Ozpin said

"Oz there is another thing." Guts said

"Yes?" Ozpin said

"There was a guy at the docks who spoke of my history Roman Torchwick." Guts said

"The known criminal what's that got to do with anything?" Ozpin said

"The thing is he spoke of stuff only I know of which means Torchwick and possibly the white fang might be working with either the apostle's or even the godhand themselves…" Guts said

Ozpin nodded and left.

The next day Guts made his way to the headmaster's office and saw teams RWBY and JNPR impatiently waiting

"Ugh why won't Ozpin let us In already?" Ruby asked

"Probably because he's waiting for everyone to get here." Guts said

Ruby turned around and lunged at Guts "Guts!"

Guts grabbed Ruby and they held each other. And looked deep into each other's eyes before a cough interrupted them.

"Oh come on Yang they were about to kiss too." Nora moaned clearly teasing them than trying to be mean Yang lightly punched her anyway. "That's my sister your talking about." Yang said

Guts smiled to be honest he didn't even realize how close they had gotten. This was so much like Casca it was worrying to him. He didn't want to spit on her memory but he couldn't deny it anymore Ruby gave him the same fire Casca did.

"Let's not keep the headmaster waiting." Guts said as he strode forward. Clearly the others didn't share his enthusiasm as Guts strode forward and opened the door.

He was met with Glynda and Ozpin looking out the window together. But aside from that no other members of the brotherhood.

"No Birdman?" Guts asked much to the two teams' confusion.

"No Qrow will not be joining us." Ozpin said as he spun around and raised an eyebrow

Guts shrugged "didn't know how descreet you wanted to be." Guts explained

"Plans changed." Ozpin said as he stood up. "Team RWBY, JNPR your here for multiple reasons one of which is your attachment to Guts as a person… and the other is that we need your help…" Ozpin said

"Ohh foreboding." Nora said

"Of course Oz. Say your going to expose everything but still keep up the cryptic shit." Guts said

"You know that's my charm." Ozpin said

"More like annoying moniker." Guts said

"Much like you and the blackswordsman?" Glynda asked Guts looked to her and she smiled "the legend travels. I dear say you underestimated how quickly word spreads now." Glynda said

The other teams were confused with the banter but were brought back to the serious topic.

"So what are we explaining first? Your world or mine?" Guts asked

"Our world Guts. You are apart of Remnant now." Ozpin said

"Ok I'm really really confused!" Yang said

"What's your favorite fairy tale?" Guts asked

"Fairy tale?" Ruby asked

"Yes, fairy tale you'll understand soon enough." Guts said

After everyone gave there answers. Ozpin spoke

"Ever heard of the story of the seasons?"

"Wait are you saying?" Blake asked

"The story of the seasons is full blown truth." Guts said

"How would you know?" Yang said

"Because I am the one who lived through it…" Ozpin said

"But your not that old professor." Pyrrha said

"Wait…you told me before that you made more mistakes than every man woman and child on this planet." Ruby said

Ozpin smiled

"Very astute Ms Rose…yes I am…Cursed." As Ozpin explained his story. Leaving out the Gods and Salem. But explaining the story all the same.

"Holy crap…" Yang said

"So…what is this great evil your up against?" Jaune asked

"Simply put we don't know." Ozpin said

"All we know is that there vast." Glynda said

"And that they have the white fang in there pocket." Guts finished

"Wait your sure?" Blake asked

"You we're at the Docks that night." Guts said

"Yes but that doesn't explain the giant." Weiss said

"Giant?" Ren asked

"That requires a shift in perspective." Guts said

"Please understand that in this world there are two basic planes of existence." Guts said

"Guts.." Ozpin warned

Guts however turned on him " they need to know. It won't make sense otherwise."

Ozpin sighed and nodded

"anyways there are two planes… the physical realm where you me and everything you know exists. And the astral realm. The realm where Monsters, demons. And Gods dwell.

First a little history however I'm not from Remnant as you probably picked apart. And where I came from it wasn't nearly as technologically advanced as here. The gun had just been invented if that gives you any context." Guts said

As guts went through his early life he noticed everything was looking at him in awe. Especially as he killed 100 soldiers in a single night to save Casca.

Even Goodwitch looked impressed

Then he got to the eclipse and everything changed.

As he explained the eclipse and how devastating it was. Guts took note of everyone's reactions. Yang was simultaneously angry and scared her Ruby was horrified at the betrayal of Griffith as Ozpin looked ashen. Many others looked like they were in denial. Pyrrha, Blake, and Weiss most notably.

Guts countuned recounting his post eclipse adventures. And eventuality how he was able to actually restore Casca's mind.

"But in the end I failed." Guts said

"I died. And I ended up here." Guts said

"And that's when you ended up here and you saved my uncle?" Ruby asked

"Yeah." Guts said

"So wait in that case how old were you when you actually died?"

"I didn't keep track of my age but I believe I was around 24 when I kicked the bucket." Guts said

"Really?" Ruby asked Guts nodded

"That's still really impressive especially from the dangerous world you lived in." Ozpin said

"This is really weird to see about you." Yang said

Guts shrugged "to be fare it's strange for myself as well." Guts said

"So what's that have to do with what happened at the dock?" Ren asked

Guts nodded "Yes. Well that requires a bit of back story. When I arrived on Remnant I was followed by the monsters I once killed. And they tried to kill me again. This is a beast that looked like a Grimm but it was an apostle with a grimm fusion. It was as strong as an apostle normally was in my world. They said thay would keep hunting me." Guts said

"Damn even with the hard life you already have they still won't give up." Glynda said

"I've dealt with it before." Guts shrugged

"Anyways the docks occurred as the rage I've felt. Seeing as Grimm feed off negative emotions this apparently is true for apostle's as I summoned a full apostle from my world without any Grimm interference." Guts said

"An real apostle?" Jaune asked

"What did he look like." Nora asked

"He was a giant." Ruby said

"Yes Grunbeld is quiet fierce and quiet powerful as well if I didn't have the berserker armor given to me when I fought him I would've died." Guts said

"But you fought him off quiet well at the dock" Yang said

Guts shook his head "yes however I didn't have aura back then. So it was much weaker. Plus I was getting older and I was already injured when I fought him." He explained

"So…what does this berserker armor do?" Ren asked

As Guts explained the armors capabilities everyone went to a horrified state.

"What the fuck?!"

"You had to deal with that?"

Guts nodded as he turned to Yang who was processing what he had told her about her anger issues. And it suddenly made sense as to why he said as he did.

"And you have to deal with it again but now as a semblance…" Ruby said worriedly.

Everyone caught up to what she had said and relize the same thing however Guts held his hand up.

"No not exactly. While my semblance is infact the Berserker Armor it's power has changed maybe it might be because when I first came here I slayed a true manifestation of the Beast of darkness. Or my inner demons. But when I had the armor on when I fought Grunbeld I was in full control of my actions." Guts said

"But you acted so must like a monster how can you be sure?" Yang asked

"Yang I had no intention to attack any of you at that time the new trouble about the armor is far more worrying. For one I feel that when I stop using my semblance my entire energy is drained which is why I passed out.

And for another thing once I take off the armor any injuries I sustained while in the armor return in full force." Guts said

"Wait…what does that mean?" Ruby asked

Guts lifted up his shirt and revealed a massive scar across his chest.

"Grunbeld broke 3 of my ribs when he threw me. The only reason I'm standing here at all is because of my Aura." Guts said

"Oh my god!" Glynda gasped. Hand to mouth horrified.

Ruby rushed over for a chair and thrusted Guts into it.

"Ruby-!?" Guts said

"No! After this meeting your returning to the hospital until that wound fully heals! That scar is way to deep to not have permanent damage if gone untreated Aura or not. Your wasting Aura just fueling your healing." Ruby said in a finial tone.

Guts sighed "alright I'll do that." He said with a smile

"Holy shit I did not expect. That outcome." Blake said

"Yea you'd think with someone as stubborn as him from what we heard he'd put up more of a fuss." Yang said

Ruby just hugged Guts deeply "I'm just worried about you." She said

Guts smiled and nodded "I'll be safe," he said

" well with that story out of the way. You've caught up where we can explain the situation." Ozpin said before nodding to Glynda. Who erected a hologram from the middle of the room

" this is a security footage I collected the night Ms. Rose encountered Roman Torchwick. As she played the fight until her interference.

Guts looked over to tease her and get a word in but Ruby just pointed at him and shut him up.

"This is what happened after my arrival." Glynda said as she showed the fight with Cinder and everything else that happened and there escape.

Guts narrowed his eyes and looked at Ozpin who nodded

"Sir…" Guts said

"Yes that Guts was indeed magic." Ozpin said

"So we need to consider the enemy. Has at least a Maiden on there side." Ren said

"And with that the ability to gather apostle's." Guts said

"Half maiden." Ozpin insisted "We got information from Qrow my agent in the field of someone attacking the Fall Madien Amber. Falls has extensive powers of fire. Which matches with the attacks caught on camera."

"im really confused qrow our uncle kniws yoy?" Yang asked

Guts nodded

"But where is the other half?" Nora asked

"Still alive but in a coma. Qrow told me he rescued her before her attacker could symphon all her powers." Guts said

"Which means they might come back to finish the job." Ren said

"The Vytal festival!" Jaune exclaimed

Ozpin clenched his fist in anger "shit." He hissed before he stood up "The festival is far too set up for us to cancel the event without arousing suspension I'm afraid we will have to go on with it." Oz said

"We should move Fall." Guts said However Ozpin shook his head

"She's already in critical condition if she move her she won't survive. She's already on life support already." Ozpin said as he sat down.

"I hate to be the one to admit it but, James has the resources we need." Glynda said

"Ironwood?" Weiss asked

"The General?" Blake asked

"He is apart of this inner circle. Along with the other two Headmasters." Ozpin said

"How long will it be until he can gather his forces?" Guts asked

"It shouldn't take too long. Most of the Atlas military is set on standby anyways. I just have to think of a good reason for there presence." Ozpin said

"Well you told me in history. The Vytal festival is set forth to ensure unity and cooperation with the kingdom's. What better way to show that to have a foreign kingdom overrun security?" Guts said

Ozpin sat down in through. " Hmm it would work but James is a prodigious man I'm not sure how he would handle the task." He said

"True. However this is also only for the public face. And maybe a few peacekeepeing guards. The real security will be us. And other Huntsman you trust." Guts said

Ozpin nodded "yes I can see this working." He said as he stood up "I need to go and inform Ironwood of the new update. And send a request to the vale council for the request to co-opt security with both beacon and Atlas." He said he looked over at the two teams.

"This is not official yet. We need at least four members to agree to it before we make you offically into the brotherhood. But for now your unofficially apart of this. I do not need to tell you that what is descussed in this room is need to know only." Ozpin said

"Yes sir but I have to ask. What do we have confirmed of the enemy?" Ruby asked

"Well we have confirmation of Roman Torchwick, and a half maiden." Ren said

"Which we can link all the Robberies to." Weiss said

"As well as the White Fang." Blake said

"That and with the Apostle's that's a very powerful force. The one thing that bothers me is what unites them?" Guts asked

Ozpin turned to Guts "What do you mean?"

"Well I can't really say about the other factions but I know the Godhand. The "general's of the Apostle's are very focused on causality and fate. But also dominance. They follow orders biased on what they consider god or "the idea of evil" but why someone who isn't an apostle would willingly join forces with them. Even if uninformed. Something else is pulling the strings to loop all these different groups together." Guts said

" perhaps we should investigate this." Ruby said

"No!" Guts said

Everyone froze. Ozpin and Glynda most shocked true they were going to say no as well but with Guts insistence really made them wonder.

"The investigation at the docks was big enough. The enemy knows we are at least on their radar even if they don't know we know they're all connected. They will be more tense and ready for something. We need to wait for them to calm down before we go and investigate once more." Guts said

Ozpin smiled "well said Guts. It's true the enemy is reeling from what has been done to them. Use this time to relax and smooth yourselves over first. Then we will go at them and keep them occupied." Ozpin said

"Very well headmaster." If you excuse me I think I'd head to the hospital right now." Guts said

"Actually I do mind just for a few minutes more" Ozpin said

Guts sighed and sat back down.

"The rest of you can leave us. Ms Rose, please stay as well." Ozpin said

Glynda looked over. "I think I'll give you a chance to be alone I'll send the paperwork to the Council and to Ironwood." Glynda said.

"Thank you Glynda." Ozpin said as she left. Leaving the three of them alone.

"Ms. Rose please understand that there are some things that cannot be revealed. However due to circumstances that I have just been aware of I feel if I don't do this now I will be doing a disservice to you. Your mother. And all that she strived for. I also believe my head would be split open by your "boyfriend?" Is that the word?" Ozpin said

Ruby shrugged "We haven't talked about it together much but if willing I'd consider us that yea." Ruby said

Guts was shocked "even with my history and learning how much older I am?" Guts asked

"I mean yea it is weird. But not as weird as being taught by "The wizard." Ruby said

Ozpin smiled "I'm afraid it only gets weirder from there Ms. Rose, do you know of the story of the girl in the tower?" Ozpin asked

"Yes it's a very dark tale in my youth my mother only told me the first half about how a man like the wizard whisked the women away and life's happily ever after. I later found in beacon library the full txt and found out the hero died and the woman eventually went mad with power and eventually turned herself into…Grimm…no!" Ruby gasped

Ozpin nodded "I'm afraid that is true. It's that exact tale of the tale of my curse ment and how I wound up here." Ozpin said

"But then our enemy is?" Ruby asked

"My ex-wife, yes. It is complicated. And like me we are stuck here imprisoned by the gods.

"What is her name."

"Her name is Salem. And as much as I know what I must do…I can't kill her. Even if I caused our breakup. With our ideas not able to coincide I still love her." Ozpin said

Ruby gasped

"You said your old and have been reincarnated several times. But what keeps her here why hasn't she not died from old age yet?" Guts asked

"I suspect several things. Either we are binding each other. Her physical magic anchoring her to the plant. Or and I really hope not. The Grimm." Ozpin said

Guts nodded "I'm happy you were able to tell Ruby this." Guts said

"Wait you knew?" Ruby asked

"I knew of Salem. I didn't know her history and I didn't know how old she was." Guts said

"Yes however there is another reason I called you here. Mostly for Ms, Rose but Guts is here for your protection as well. Do you remember what I told you first when we met Ms Rose?" Ozpin asked

"That…I have silver eyes?" Ruby said

"Yes. It's a very rare trait. There is a legacy of sort with those who had silver eyes. If you know of the story creation of humanity. You know the Grimm were apart of this world long before huntsman. And while certain. Para-groups exist pre huntsman. They were never as effective as what we have today. Either because they couldn't recruit. Or were wiped out in larger Grimm attacks. Except for one.

A cult of warrior's to be frank but they were the best in the businesses. Legend says they have the power to kill a grimm with a single gaze." Ozpin said

"Wow!" Ruby said

"When I say the group was in fact a cult I mean it. There have been a lot of religions in Reminant's history. But only 2 were actually real. The brother gods. Light and darkness. Of course you know this story of the creation of Grimm. I make sure each huntsman and combat schools teach it. Which is why the mandatory Fairytale class exists." Ozpin said

"Anyways in the cult there were only 2 real parameters to become a member. One is to be good at killing Grimm." Ozpin said

"And the second?" Ruby asked

"You had to have silver eyes." He finished

"So your saying…" Ruby said

"Yes you are part of a legacy that is very very old. The actual silver eyes are actually passed off from the god of light himself." As they worship the god of light and considered the god of darkness pure evil." Guts said

"But you don't." Guts said

Ozpin shook his head.

" gods are gods they don't follow the rule of "good" and "evil" Guts, you can attest to this." Ozpin said

Guts nodded "yes even if the God hand are more cruel you can't really consider them evil I can't speak of the idea of evil because I haven't met him. But I don't believe that the brother gods are really gods." Guts said

"But the powers? What else would they be?" Ruby asked

"From what I've seen and in fact heard from Griffith when we met on the hill of swords again. I believe the god is universal. However the brothers. Move freely and interact. Where a true god wouldn't need to… therefore I feel comfortable in considering the brothers are not gods. But in fact Godhand." Guts said

"Really a remnants version of the Godhand?" Ruby asked

Ruby nodded in understanding.

"Don't worry I'll protect her." Guts said

"I'm sure you will Guts" Ozpin said

"But first I get to protect you as you make your way up the hospital come on up you get!" Ruby said as she shooed her boyfriend out the door.

Ozpin watched them with a smile yes the future would be safe indeed.

Well this is a shock tbh I didn't expect to get out of volume 1 in 3 chapters but I mean I don't mind the pacing in this chapter is a little off Cliffhangers in the middle. And stuff but I just didn't want to stop writing. Maybe eventually I'll break it up into 3 chapters in a rewrite but idk.

Anyways next time is volume 2 with a slight introduction.
