Notice:

This will probably be my last year making fanfiction. This is not final yet, but it is very likely. However, I will post all the fics I have already started. I am sure that I won’t finish ‘To Stop Playing Sherlock’ this year, so it will be continued but I won’t make anymore series. It will be the last series I will work on… for maybe a while or a long time. But this time I will really finish it.

Fanfiction is fun and it improved my writing a lot. I read all my constructive criticisms and tried to learn from them over and over again. I sometimes forget them, so I am still sorry for the mistakes!

But my problem is that my style of writing takes a long time and it eats up a lot of my free time. And soon, I won’t have a lot of that. For all the people who have been patient with me over the years, thank you so much. I am happy to have made you laugh, made you cry (if I ever did) or made you smile. You all have been very supportive over the years and I will never forget it. Well, some people hated my writing too and for them I guess I will also need to apologize. I will become a better writer, and someday maybe-- I’ll come back to make you laugh, smile or cry all over again.

But this is next year though. There is still ten months left. Hopefully, it is enough time to finish all this! I am still writing all the projects I already have written on my profile, but no more. Sadly, I had a lot more in mind but I just don’t have the time anymore. My goal is just this one last year.

Greetings, Readers!

I don’t know how many of my readers still read my profile, but here goes.

This writer’s name is Michi or Tsubame Ongaku. Not that I really use the name anymore. I still keep it for the sentimental value. It is a reminder of my very good friend, so it is very difficult to let go. Please don’t laugh, though I personally at times think it is funny.

I have been a writer for this site for about half a decade. Unfortunately, I am probably one of the slowest updaters in the site. Especially recently since my chapters are pretty long. Also, I prefer giving the best quality writing to everyone I can offer over speed. I know I can attract more writers if I updated more frequently, but I write more for practice… and the fact that I love writing.

I love putting my imagination into words.

Most have probably noticed, but I do not really write slash pairings. I experiment on pairings a lot but none are slash. Not because I hate it, I assure you. It is a preference. Also, I doubt I can write it very convincingly. I don’t write fanservice. Another preference. I like to believe I will still be a good writer without it.

I can’t really say I am a fangirl. At least not anymore. I like different things, I dislike different things. Sometimes very odd things that not many people agree with. When told it is impossible, it doesn’t really hurt me that much. I just like to try things here and there like genres, fandoms and characters.

I also like to experiment. Some of the pairings or stories I write are silly, impossible or would normally not make sense. Please forgive me, I am experimenting. I sometimes jump from genre to genre. ‘To Stop Playing Sherlock’ is one of my attempts to break out of Shoujo. Attempt because I am pretty certain I failed. I guess I find it a little hard to break out of the shoujo mold. At least I am trying. This year, I promised that from now on I will work on three multi-chaptered fics at a time. And keep them short. If I make too many chapters I might not be able to finish them. But, I will make a few oneshots on the side.

My dream is to someday join CLAMP, but I know that is going to be a bit difficult since they often do slash. It doesn’t stop me from being a fan and wanting to be part of them.

‘Fox Rain’- Tsubasa Chronicles [Kurogane/Touya x Tomoyo ]

They say that when it rains on a clear, the Kitsune is crying. Youou’s village and mother needed rain. The villagers told him nine-tailed foxes don’t exist. Even if they did, they eat men’s livers. But, it does exist. It didn’t take his liver. It took something else.

Note:

I have been asked to make a story for these two for a long time, but I could not think of the right plot. I came up with this while writing the third chapter of ‘When She Grows up in Beauty.’ There is a play there with the same title. This story will be similar but different. If you read that chapter, you will understand the origin of the name, Fox Rain.

Those who watch ‘My Girlfriend is a Gumiho’ will understand a bit. The legend came from there, but the real legend is that when it rains on a clear day the fox is getting married. I still think it will be a nice story. Please look out for it. It will probably just be around six chapters.

‘The Mage and the Tsukuyomi-no-kami ’- Tsubasa Chronicles [Eriol x Tomoyo ]

She was the Tsukuyomi, untouchable. Eriol a wandering mage with nothing to return to. He always meant to leave, but something changed. He was now willing to risk all just to be with her. Love had a price and it is a hefty price indeed.

Note:

My writing seems to be going to a historical direction, I noticed. But I still want to keep the CLAMP feel that makes the CLAMP works so wonderful. I got a lot of requests for another Eriol and Tomoyo fic, but I didn't want to write the same concept as Nightingale. I wanted to challenge myself again for something different. That is how this fic was born. I fell in love with 'The Tale of Genji.' At the same time, I knew I wouldn't be able to pull off something like it. I still wanted something historical or magical. My answer was then-- to do both!

To be honest, I do not know how the story will end. I decided to let the characters write themselves for this story. This is new to me because I am so used to relying on my notes. This may be a dangerous choice because I might go wrong somewhere, but I am still willing to try it though. As a writer, I should learn to be versatile. Have fun with this story!

‘Everybody’s Prince; Nobody’s Lover’- Tsubasa Chronicles [Nokoru x Tomoyo]

Nokoru was a prince that belonged to everybody. His duty was to always bring a smile to a girl’s lips. But sadly, though he belonged to all-- he is loved by none. Not even by the one he loved.

Note:

Someone PMed me how she enjoyed my first Nokoru and Tomoyo fic and shared it with her friends. I was so touched, but I had to admit I wasn’t sure if I can make another fic about this pairing. I wanted to keep it open ended. But, she was right there are just not a lot of fics about them. During the time I posted that fic, I searched and it was the only Nokoru and Tomoyo fic on the site. I decided to make one more. Just for fun because I did enjoy writing it. It will be a oneshot.

‘The Girl on Television- Shugo Chara! [Kukai x Utau] and [Nagihiko x Rima]

[Kukai x Utau] Story 1:

Kukai’s first love-- and first girlfriend is the popular idol, Utau Hoshina. He saw her on television all the time. His friends at the soccer team talked about her a lot. Because she was an idol, she belonged to everyone in front of the camera. With only one look, Utau always let Kukai know that behind the camera she was his.

[Nagihiko x Rima] Story 2:

Whenever Rima saw Nadeshiko on television, she could not help but be amazed by how beautiful she is-- dressed in the full onnagata regalia. She couldn’t help but sigh at how beautiful her movements were. For Rima, it was hard to believe sometimes that the beautiful girl on television was actually the adorably awkward boy beside her.

This is an anthology. It is going to be pretty short-- hopefully. I am not really good at making anything short. For me, six pages is already short and my brother says it is long. So maybe it will be depending on what your definition of short it. I always did like Shugo Chara! Is it strange? I liked the manga better though. Maybe it is because all the franchising made me feel a bit uncomfortable. Funnily, the Kukai and Utau pairing at first did not make sense to me. Maybe in a way-- it still doesn’t, but it is so cute and next time Nagihiko, he is my favorite character in the series. My friend is a big fan of Onnagata and she introduced me to it. Being one is really not easy. After watching Taichi Saotome, I fell for how beautiful onnagata is. I imagine that Nagihiko is really like Taichi Saotome when he dances.

‘When She Grows Up in Beauty’- Card Captor Sakura [Touya x Tomoyo]

Touya Kinomoto had the qualities of the legendary samurais. That is because he was a warrior. A fighter. From the tender age of 10, Tomoyo Daidouji understood and admired that about him. It was not difficult for that admiration to become like. But, he was a man. She was a girl. He didn’t want to take advantage of a young girl. His honor wouldn’t allow him. She was going to have to prove to him that she wasn’t just a little girl. But, it is going to have to take time.

Notes:

I know what most people are thinking. ‘It does not make sense’ or ‘Touya has Yukito!’

I know that, and I respect the pairing a lot. Whether it is Romance or Bromance, I have nothing against it. I know Touya loves Yukito. He will never leave Touya’s heart. So, please do not label me as a slash hater. It is preference. I like the pairing. Impossible as it is, I like it. So I am just having fun with it.

Even if you dislike the pairing, I still hope that you will learn to like this story. I really tried my best. If you like CLAMP or Shoujo, I recommend this. It is light hearted I think.

‘Nightingale and the Phantom of Red Moon’- Card Captor Sakura [Eriol x Tomoyo]

Tomoyo Daidouji was the talented and only daughter of Sonomi Daidouji, the owner of a toy empire and inventor from Japan. During a party that her mother’s business associate was holding, she meets the enigmatic Eriol Hiiragizawa, the Duke of Wylde. With the exchange of smiles, the wheels of Destiny turns. He wanted her. He had always wanted her…

Notes:

It is finally done after three years! I am so slow. This was yet another experiment. If you are a fan of this pairing or Vocaloids, I recommend reading this fic. I actually wrote this after watching ‘Cantarella’ by Miku and Kaito Hatsune. This is my attempt at something darker. I don’t think I did a good job. I really have a lot of trouble with dark fics, I admit.

I still enjoyed writing it in a way. Because I really enjoyed the Cantarella song. A lot of research was needed for this. Especially for chapter 3. That is a real trick. It is still being used now-- and had been used during that era. I am a big fan of magic. That is why I have a biggest and longest crush on Kaito Kid from Detective Conan.

I really need to work on my mary-sue-ishness of writing Tomoyo. It doesn’t help that even in the series she is described to be very beautiful.

‘Making the Kill’- Card Captor Sakura xOver HunterXHunter [Killua x Tomoyo]

Killing was fun. Watching a prey breathe its last is satisfying. That was what he was trained for. Made for. But even though Killua could see her, his prey, clearly through the scope of his rifle, he found that this time it wasn’t so easy to pull the trigger..

Another AU experiment. Like I said, I experiment a lot. This is probably the most impossible pairing ever. This is my first oneshot for a long time. It is almost finished. It is a bit lighthearted. I am not really sure. Much lighthearted than Nightingale. I enjoyed writing it. It is a bit clichéd, unfortunately but I still hope a few people will like it.

I know I am going to get a few people laughing with this one. I wanted to write a romance that wasn’t much about kissing and getting together. I think a story can be romantic without it. Love is really can be about the small details and not having it shoved into your faces.

This took five months to make.

‘He was a Believer of Luck; She was a Disbeliever of Fate’- Card Captor Sakura xOver Tsubasa Chronicles [Eriol x Tomoyo]

Note:

I wrote this for a contest. Two years ago I think. I won Second place! I was happy because this was just another of my experiments after all. A friend of mine told me that she really liked this one. It was my first story after going on hiatus for almost two years. With my love for writing revived, a few oneshots followed after this.

I love CLAMP, but I especially loved Cardcaptor Sakura. It is my favorite aside from Kobato. But with all the crossovers, I think it is still hard for them to move on from their doujinshi stage.

‘Things I Can Never Say; Things I Want to Say’- Tsubasa Chronicles [Nokoru x Tomoyo]

Note:

I bought the manga of Tsubasa, when I wrote this. It was volume 12. That combined with having a CLAMP School Detectives Marathon gave birth to this fic. I found their interaction and chemistry in the manga endearingly cute. This won’t be my last story of this pairing. I am going to try and write another in the future. After I finish one of my other projects at least. These two really need more attention.

‘Dance with Me’- Bleach [Orihime x Ishida]

Another experiment and contest. I joined Debbie-chan’s Bleachness. The idea came after taking an exam on PE, which was, not so coincidentally, the tango. It was my first attempt to write something sexy. I failed miserably and when I read it again, I can’t help but feel awkward and wonder if I really wrote this.

I love Bleach! I am a bit of a fan of Ichigo, but I think writing a fanfic for it is probably the hardest I have ever attempted or experimented on.

‘Green IS the color of my eyes’– Gundam Seed [Athrun x Cagalli]

Athrun’s only job was to watch and protect Cagalli, especially from herself. But this feisty princess was not about to let him tie her down. He didn’t like it when men talk to her, look at her and he sure doesn’t like it when they even touch her…

This used to be an old favorite of mine, so I am still quite fond of it. I still read it once in a while to compare my new writing to my old. The difference is astounding. I wrote it thinking about an old friend and pen pal of mine, Amy Collins. That is where the Amy and Andy came from.

Amy and I don’t correspond as much anymore, but I still remember her when I think of this story. Funnily, she wasn’t into the Gundam fandom. We met in the Shaman King fandom.

‘A Thousand Words’– Gundam Seed [Athrun x Cagalli]

This was another experiment that I wrote before my hiatus I think. Such a long time ago! I wondered if I could write a fic from listening to a song. I wrote this after watching a Asucaga video in youtube. The song was A Thousand Words by Koda Kumi. It was made by yukinosama. If you are a fan of this pairing, I think you should watch it. It was really well made. I don’t know how many times I played the replay button to finish this story. Hahaha!

‘His and Her Side of the Story’– Gundam Seed [Athrun x Cagalli]

It is not easy to be so far away from the people you love. This is Athrun's reason why he and Cagalli couldn't be together...at least yet. Will he wait or will Cagalli have to make the first move? Asucaga

I got the idea of writing the point of view of each character was from Kare Kano. Of course, it is a lot different from Kare Kano. My original plan was to keep it just two chapters. Athrun an Cagalli’s point of view. But then a review said that she wanted to read Meyrin’s point of view too. It seemed like an interesting idea so I wrote a third chapter.

I got a lot of reviews about how they disliked Meyrin. Personally, I was heartbroken by the separation too. Weirdly, I don’t hate her. I really believe that someday-- they will be back together. I didn’t need to see it, because I believed that. Funny, right?

‘Kissing and Mistletoes’– Gundam Seed [Athrun x Cagalli]

7 year old, Athrun tries to understand the function of the mistletoe with the help of a certain blonde…oneshot!

My first Gundam Seed oneshot. I was writing ‘Green IS the Color of my Eyes’ during this time. I was so slow in updating I felt guilty so I decided to make a oneshot for Christmas as a gift knowing that I wouldn’t be able to finish the chapter on time. I think my writing could have been better… but I still find this fic cute for some reason. Maybe I just find it nostalgic.

‘Fangs and Chocolates’– Gundam Seed [Athrun x Cagalli]

A ten year old, Cagalli meets a strange boy one Halloween night. She never thought that this pale, young boy could change her life in a snap…oneshot! Super AU

This is another nostalgic fic that I find myself very embarrassed over. This was an experiment and I admit, I was high on chocolate. When I read this again, I keep thinking of Twilight. I wrote this about two years before I even heard of Twilight. I admit that I am not very fond of the vampire fandom anymore. Maybe it is because it is everywhere.

I wrote this on Halloween. I realized that I was big on making holiday oneshots. I wish I ha more time to do this. Sadly, it takes me months to finish one chapter. It also takes me months to finish oneshots. So it is possible I might end up uploading a Halloween oneshot in December. Hahaha. That is a funny thought.

‘Leave Me Alone’– Shaman King [Ren x Pirika]

Note:

My very, very first multi-chaptered story. This was a prequel to another Shaman King fic I wrote but I never finished it, so I decided to delete it. The only reason I never delete this is because of sentimental value but I have to admit that I find my writing style so weird here now.

I am a Iron Maiden Jeanne and Ren Tao fan now. I have really no time to make a fic about them, though.

‘Just an Annoying Little Sister’– Shaman King [Ren x Pirika]

Pirika was nothing more to Ren but a friend’s annoying little sister. So what if he can see things about her that other people can’t. It is just his observant nature, right?

My first Shaman King oneshot. I have other Shaman King fanfics but I never posted them. I got invited to a Ren and Pirika community and I got the idea of making a oneshot. Strangely, writing this oneshot is not take as long as it does for me now. Now it takes me three months or more to make a one shot. This only took five hours. I finished it at midnight.

‘Summer School’– Naruto [Sakura x Sasuke]

Sasuke could have any girl he wants. For him, like canned goods every girl has an expiration date. They never go beyond a week. Sakura a cute new girl in school was his latest conquest. She was nice, funny, smart and beautiful in other words “perfect.” Sasuke needs to get out of this relationship before his heart gets into trouble. Unfortunately, he was not expecting her to be under his math teacher’s wing.

This is a mystery to me. This is probably my most popular work, but I sort of dislike it. I really don’t understand the appeal. And I am the writer! It started out as an experiment an the experiment turned into a mystery. That was the only part I enjoyed writing. Right now, I just want to laugh when I read it again. Personally, I like to spork it for fun.

I had five mysteries back then for this fic, but I lost the notes.

‘Double Identities’– Gundam Seed [Athrun x Cagalli]

Athrun is engaged to Orb’s perfect princess, Cagalli Yula Attha. He obediently accepts his fate but one day he met a fiery beauty named, Eulla. She is everything the princess is not but why does he still find himself falling in love with her?

Another popular fic that I can’t finish because I lost the notes. I don’t know how it was supposed to go anymore. I id enjoy writing this fic five years ago but so many years have passed already so I don’t know how to proceed or end. So I am just going to stop here. Someday-- I might make another fic of this pairing, but for now it will be put on a shelf for storage. I hope people can understand.

‘To Stop Playing Sherlock’ – Naruto [Sakura x Sasuke]

AU. Sasuke likes two things: A good mystery and girls. Sakura dislikes two things: Crime and guys with big egos. Circumstances led them to dislike but respect one another. Not everyone is happy with these young detectives’ success and think it is time for them to stop playing Sherlock.

Notes:

This is my attempt to move out of the shoujo mold. It is also an attempt to revive ‘Summer School.’ To Be honest, I privately spork Summer School. Despite it being my most popular work, it is my least favorite. It was written out of random and experimentation. I never expected people to really like it. I have forgotten the cases I prepared for it. For this fic though, I have written my notes in advance so I won’t forget them. I hope you guys like it. It is AU and OOC at times, but I am really trying my best to make everyone happy.
