I've been writing fanfictionacrorss variousfandoms for over twenty-five years, since the days when, if you wanted to read any,you had to send off a £2.50 postal order and hope that twenty sides of photocopied typescript would arrive in the post three weeks later. The Internet is a wonderful thing.

Probably the majority of my work has been on Space: 1999, a relatively neglected fandom. However, I've also written Babylon 5, Max Headroom, Addams Family, Crime Traveller (a show no-one watched but me), Sapphire and Steel, ST:TNG, Doctor Who, Cabin Pressure (a radio show) and a couple of other obscure British shows. I like relatively straightforward, canonical stories which focus on and expand upon existing relationships within a show. Fanfic is all about the shippiness, but I really like it to have a plot and a context.

I dislike fragmentary stories without plot and structure, violently OOCness, anttd the more bizarre excesses such as mpreg. Personally, non-canonical slash does nothing for me.
