05.18.2009: Recently, (due to Geocities' impending death), DC Lady, the lady in charge of the BatmanWWArkham fanfic archive approached me (for an offer I had made to her a while back). Long story short, the archive was moved to my site...

When I set about to updating the archive, (fixing broken links, changing the page design etc.) I hit upon an idea to do a complete rehaul, start from scratch, and all that jazz. A few kinks, a day and half spent to get everything up and in place...and now I have the new "THE BATMAN & WONDER WOMAN FANFICTION ARCHIVE" ready. Although there might be some growing pains, the main parts are pretty much in place.

Among others news, along with a new DC (JLU Animated) fic. 'Ripples of Symmetry: A Better World', a Lords' companion to the recently ended 'Symmetry' (my longest DC fic till date), I have also begun yet another X-Men fic. 'Once Upon a Time...' This fic is although based in a mutant universe is not specific to any one (i.e. movie, cartoon or comics). Its something very different from my usual X-fics n' I hope that the readers enjoy it as much as I am (writing it).

Also am working on the second of the three part 'Secrets' series. The timeline for these stories takes off after the ending of X2 and has nothing to do with the third movie.

Please also note that I am no longer writing or going to write any Marvel fic based in the mainline (Earth-616) universe. Then again, I am not reading any comics based there either as of eight months ago. I have got quite a lot of funds freed up, which I have since then devoted to expanding my comic reading interests. Have picked up, not only 'Y The Last Man', 'The Authority' but also many on-goings and minis from other smaller and indie publishers. Along with these, have also sampled and re-sampled titles such as Image Comics', 'Ant', 'Noble Causes' and 'Witchblade',Dark Horse's 'Conan' and Dynamite Entertainment's 'Red Sonja'.

As for why I am no longer supporting Marvel (even thinking of shedding the Ultimate titles from my pull list), the main reason for it was the 'Farce of the Century' that committed by removing Storm from the X-Men and dumping her with that dunder-headed-idiot (not mentioning names). Other reasons include, the haphazard way that Wolverine's returned memories are being dealt/shown as, Spider-Man's 'new' powers and that puke inducing costume, JQlueless being adamant to break Spidey-n'-MJ's marriage (which I imagine will be tied into the 'genie' that has been let out with the unmasking), and also putting the Kibosh on Reed-Sue, not to mention RoLo.

Don't know when and if I'll be returning to reading and writing from/about that side of the comic universe, but with the way things are going over at DC and the great work that the smaller and indie comic companies are putting out, don't think it will be anytime soon.

And for a core Wolverine fan and a RoLo supporter, this has been a very sad n' difficult decision.

Pairings I prefer...that means the ones which have a starring role in my fics.

X-Men: Logan and Ororo i.e. Wolverine and Storm. Although, I like to read Logan and Rogue fics too, but like using Ororo as my female protagonist. No Ororo and Remy or Forge or Bishop...and definitely not any Sabertooth. NO WAY!
JLA: Batman and Wonder Woman. Not a fan of Supes with Wondy. Supes with Lois? BIG FAN. They were the first 'superhero' couple I was exposed to either in comics, cartoons or movies. I am never going to write a SMWW fic. and even if there is a pairing (even a temporary one) it will have something to do with a BMWW one.
