Here's a character bio for you: (SPOILERS for 'The Dead Thief's Turnabout') Hyperdimension Peashy As depicted in 'The Misadventures of Hyperdimension Peashy' Full Name: Peach Caroline Macintosh Gender: Female Occupation: Vert's bodyguard (recently resigned) Army Rank: Former Staff Sergeant (honorably discharged) Age: 31 Height: 152 cm Weight: 51 kg Hair: Blond Eyes: Blue Breast Size: D Birthplace: Grafx Town, Rural Planeptune Current Residence: Leanbox City Likes: Eggplants, pudding, Adrian, military strategy games, Ninja Warrior, a good scrap Dislikes: Perverts, her breast size, law-breakers, deadbeat dads, fourth-wall breaking Relationships: Adrian Harold Johns (fiancee) Lisa Macintosh (mother) Sergei Johnson (former Army comrade) Steve DeRommer (father, recently reconciled) Vert (goddess and former boss) Chika Hakozaki (co-worker) Plutia (Hyperdimension) (best friend, deceased) Plutia (Ultradimension) (close friend) Uzume Tennouboshi (sparring partner) Arthur 'A-Mac' DeRommer (training partner, half-brother) iPad and iPhone DeRommer (half-sisters) Nicole 'Nisa' Sardini (A-Mac's girlfriend) Background: Peach was originally born in Planeptune and spent most of her early life there. Her best friend in those early days was a sickly girl named Plutia, who was a year older than her. Peashy would constantly drag Plutie out to play in the park or the woods, and even if Plutia caught something and ended up in bed for a few weeks, she never complained. Sadly, this Plutia ended up dying of terminal illness when Peashy was only 10, telling Peashy on her deathbed that she was going to a 'beautiful city in the clouds'. Not only was Peashy distraught over not being able to play with her friend anymore, Plutia's family unfairly blamed her for her death, the tragedy and stress eventually causing Peashy's father to run out on them (though drugs were a factor as well). Deciding to start over, Lisa took Peach and moved to southern Leanbox, forcing the poor girl to have to adapt to an entirely different place from where she was born. While she did manage to make a few new friends, Peach was forced to move again when her mother was fired from her job. The two would move to several places in Leanbox over the next few years, due to Lisa's inability to hold down a job. Eventually, Peach became old enough that she started to take on whatever odd jobs she could find as well, to support her mother. Her bust also started filling out around this time, making her a target for several horny teenage boys, who were forced to think twice when they found out this cute blonde could hit hard. Unfortunately, this combined with Peach having inherited some of her mother's temper, meant that she had just as much trouble keeping a job as Lisa did, meaning the two were constantly on the edge of poverty. But then, one night, at a bar on the outskirts of Leanbox City, Peach had an encounter that would change her life forever. Having been turned down for a bouncer job at the bar (due to the fact that she was a girl), Peach decided to try and convince the manager by hanging out by the entrance, and clobbering any drunks who caused trouble. One of these drunks happened to be Leanbox military, and after he got clobbered by Peach, his 'designated driver' and fellow soldier Adrian stepped in. When Peach tried to punch him out, however, she quickly learned what it meant to go up against a skilled practitioner of CQC, ending up flat on her back several times without even getting one hit in. This being the first outright defeat she'd suffered in her adult life, she didn't exactly take it well, until Adrian apologized and offered to train her, which she eagerly accepted in order to defeat him. Under Adrian's tutelage, Peach learned quickly and soon surpassed her teacher, though by this time she'd begun to develop romantic feelings for him, due to the fact that Adrian was always a perfect gentleman to her, compared to most men she'd met... Eventually, Adrian began to reciprocate her feelings and the two started dating. Wanting to use her as an example for the rest of his unit to follow, Adrian helped get Peach into the Leanbox Army under a false identity (as women were not allowed in front-line positions), Peach 'borrowing' her father's surname to become 'Pelleas C. DeRommer', quickly rising through the ranks to Staff Sergeant, though she was hopeless with any kind of firearms. This led to 'DeRommer' being assigned as a CQC teacher in Adrian's unit, which was just fine with her. Now that Peach finally had steady employment, she was able to save enough money to move out of her mother's house and into an apartment of her own, though she still sent some of her military paycheck to help Lisa pay her own bills. However, she couldn't maintain the ruse forever, and she was outed a few years later when she attempted to testify as 'Sergeant DeRommer' at Adrian's court-martial, being exposed by Adrian's lawyer, Rei Ryghts, which led to her dismissal. After Adrian was cleared, however, Leanbox's CPU, Vert herself, decided to hire Peach as her personal bodyguard, who accepted after some persuasion from her boyfriend. Nowadays, Peach is committed to taking her job seriously, decked out in her military armor when on the clock, though Vert has persuaded her to remove her helmet in low-risk situations. Abilities: Unlike young Peashy from the Ultradimension, Peach is not a CPU and can't transform. But given her immense physical strength, it could be argued she doesn't need to. Training from Adrian has made her quite proficient in close-quarters combat, making her about equal to Tekken in terms of martial arts ability (without the masochism). She prefers to don her miltary armor in most combat situations, reducing her speed but heightening her defense greatly, making her something of a mighty glacier, at least compared to Vert. She is also capable of jumping great heights, which can catch flying enemies (and even some CPUs) off guard. While Peach can't use any firearms or long-range weaponry to save her hide, she does know how to wield a baton, and sometimes carries a shock baton with her, in case her fists aren't enough. She can also wield a staff in combat, and is training with spear-user Vert in order to improve her ability with this weapon. Adrian has also taught her how to use a knife, though she is uncomfortable with bladed weapons, and will only use it as a last resort. However, she can't take a hit to the chest, due to her large bust (though her armor helps mitigate this somewhat). Also, she can't really defend herself against firearms, unless she manages to get close enough to disarm the attacker. In addition, while she's smarter than Ultradimension Peashy due to having actually reached maturity, she can still be deceived by underhanded tactics and well-hidden traps, which is why she prefers to fight alongside Adrian or Vert, both of whom can usually see through said deceptions due to experience. Skills & EXE Drive: Super Dropkick Peach leaps high into the sky, then comes down and hits the enemy with a double-footed dropkick, flipping backwards and making a three-point landing. 1 hit. Shock Baton Peach activates her shock baton, then runs forward and smacks the enemy several times with said baton, before finishing with a kick. 7 hits, Electric damage. Peach Tackle! Peach kneels like a runner about to start a race, then takes off at dashing speed, before leaping and smashing into the enemy with a shoulder tackle reminiscent of her younger days. 1 hit, high Guard damage. Rolling Peach Thunder Peach starts to weave back and forth, before slugging the enemy several times in a boxing maneuver similar to the Dempsey Roll, then finishes with an uppercut that turns the enemy into a twinkle in the sky. 9 hits. EXE Drive- Carnage Combo "I learned this from my little sister!" Peach begins punching and kicking the enemy in a manner extremely similar to Yellow Heart's Carnage Claw. The main differences are: the claw slash is replaced with an uppercut, and the final kick does not go through the enemy, but instead smashes them into the ground with an explosion, Peach saluting and winking. Misc. Facts: -Her father is actually a successful CEO of both a computer company and 3D-filmaker nowadays, though Peach has had zero contact with him since he ran out on her and her mother. (Until Episode 36) -Peach gets along well with her younger counterpart, to the point that Peashy calls her 'big sister' (much to the annoyance of Ultradimension Vert). -She refused to sleep in Chika's old room before she returned, partially because Rei Ryghts was using it when she was hired as Vert's bodyguard, but also because she's afraid of what she might find if she tries to clean up in there, having heard some unsavory rumors about Vert's relationship with her Oracle (though she would never voice these concerns to Vert herself, out of respect). -Peach is a big fan of Ninja Warrior, having watched it on TV as a kid when she still lived in Planeptune. -Peach hates laziness and sloth, so she gets very annoyed when Vert focuses on marathoning video games instead of doing her job or at least going outside, which was a factor in her eventual decision to quit. |
