AN: Yo peeps, welcome to new chapter. Some of the old chapters that I saved on here were self-deleted, after a year of not updating I'm not really surprise. No biggie for me though, I can rewrite them and that will also help me improve them as well. Anyway I won't bore you with the details any longer so enjoy the chapter. But it is good to be back writing this chapter.
Chapter 2: The Hawk Flies
Izuku opened the door to his home, and boy was he sore. Sore like it hurt to move sore, even moving the key to the door took a lot of energy out of him. When Izuku got in his mother rushed to his side and hugged him.
"Ow," Izuku moaned, even hugs hurt his body. The reason Izuku is like this is because he had his first training session with Barton and...well it went places. Barton basically worked Izuku to the bone to the point where he has small bruises on his body and face.
Inko looked at her son and saw how distressed he was, he smelled like sweat and the outside. "Izuku, what happened to you?" Inko asked her son, she wondered what did this to him and hoped that he didn't get in a fight with someone.
"Sorry mom, I was out training-" Inko didn't let him finish when he said Inko knew exactly what he was doing. He was training to become a hero and she had enough of it, she had enough of Izuku trying to chase this dream especially if her baby boy was going to come like this.
"No! No, Izuku I have had enough of this. I won't tolerate you becoming a hero any longer. I have dealt with it long enough and supported it, but not anymore. Not if you are going to come home like this." Izuku had widened his eyes, he had never seen his mother yell at him or raise her voice, but the more he looked at her the more he could see that she was more worried than angry and the tears were evident of that.
Izuku hugged his mom which hurt him, but it also made his mom stop crying so the pain was definitely worth it. When the crying ceased Izuku spoke to his mother. "I will be ok mom, I know that being a hero is dangerous, but it's all I've ever wanted to do. I know you are worried and I get it, it's what moms do. I will be alright, besides when I have ever let people telling me not ever stop me." Inko smiled at and chuckled at her son, he was a stubborn one and he gets that from his father.
She remembers how Hisashi was when he was alive, always wanting to help people. In the end it cost him, but he did what he loved doing and as much as Inko misses him she will never hate him for doing the right thing.
"Ok, but be safe."
"I will mom, I will." Izuku broke the hug between them and saw his mom wipe the tears from his eyes. He was about to go, but Inko decided to tell him the news that happened today.
"Oh, Izuku. Katsuki was involved in an incident today and saved by All Might." Inko expected a large reaction out of her son, but instead she got a blank stare. Izuku didn't show any emotion to hearing those two names, in fact he did not care about them at all anymore. Izuku is done with All Might especially after what he said to him, so as far as he is concerned saving or doing whatever won't make him turn his tv on at all. He's found a better teacher, an idol, a better hero who actually believes in him.
"That's cool mom, but I am going to head out. I need to be up early tomorrow and all that I can get now is all the better." Inko nodded her head, she really saw her son not geek out over All Might. It was a scene that was unnatural for her, but maybe this was a good thing for Izuku.
Izuku already saw it as a good thing, for the first thing that he is going to do when he is able to move is get rid of this All Might junk that is in his rooms. He won't throw it out, he spent a lot time building up this collection, so he will do what any smart collector does at this time. He will sell online and make some money. But that is for another day, right now he needs to sleep cause whatever Barton had planned for him was sure going to leave him sore.
Next Day
Izuku stepped out of the bus in his sweats, he looked around to see the semi busy street. It was still early so no one was up just yet. Izuku checked his phone, this was definitely the place that Clint told him to meet. His phone vibrated, he looked down and saw that it was a text message from his teacher. [Move into the alley] Izuku read the text and looked ahead to where the alley was.
He followed the directions and walked into the alley and as he walked deeper into it he saw his master leaning on the wall. "Clint," Izuku called to the old hawk and the archer lifted his head up to see his student.
"Hey, kid. How are you feeling after yesterday?" Izuku rubbed the back of his head with a smile on his face, he was most definitely still sore, but he won't tell his teacher that. He didn't want to stop his training, he wanted to learn as much as he could before the UA exams.
"Great, I'm ready for anything now." Barton could see right through the kid's BS, but he won't say anything. He loves his enthusiasm, but sometimes it could get him in trouble and today is one of those examples.
"Alright, then let's go for a run. Follow me." Izuku nodded his head and figured that his master was going to walk out the alley, but instead his teacher decided to climb the fire escape and go up the stairs to the top of the building. Izuku already got a bad feeling about this, but he did say that he was ready for anything and now he's got to own up to it.
The teen hopped on top of the dumpster and climbed the ladder. He was much slower than his teacher, but he did eventually get up to the roof of the building. When he got up there Izuku saw his teacher standing by the edge of the building, right across from another building.
"All right kid, today's lesson is parkour. We are going to be running on the roof tops for training. So what you are going to do is jump over to the first rooftop. " Izuku looked at Clint like he had just grown two heads, there was no way he could have just asked that, but looking at his face gave him the full story. He really was going to have jumped this building, there was no way that he could make it.
"What...I can't make you jump. You must be crazy."
"Sometimes I think I am." Barton decided to make a joke at the seriousness of Izuku, but once the joke was over he decided to get serious. "If you can't make the jump then what's the point of me even being here. If you want to be a hero taking chances, taking a leap of faith into uncertainty is part of the job. You can't do that then you know where the ladder is." Izuku was silent after hearing those words, his teacher was right and he knew it.
If he was dead set on becoming he couldn't be sacred, he needed to be fearless and show that he is willing to take chances even if they are crazy ones. So that means he is going to take the leap of faith, he just hopes that he makes it that's all.
"Ok," Barton smiled at his student, he could see the determination on his face. Looks like his words got through to him, now it was time for Izuku to shine. Izuku backed up a couple, he wanted to get a good running start.
When he saw that he had enough room the teen took a deep breath and then he ran forward. He ran as fast he could, sprinting with every fiber of his being. His body begged him to stop for the pain from yesterday's training session coming back at the worst time, but he powered through it and kept on running.
He was nearing the edge now and Barton moved away to give him some room, when Izuku's right foot touched the edge the teen jumped forward. Izuku was now in the air, he looked like he was flying.
He was scared out of his mind and had a stupid look on his face that basically look like he was going to shit his pants in any giving moment, but he was doing it. He could see the other side and it looked like he was going to make it. Too bad it wasn't that easy. Izuku started to fall, he was not getting the ledge and when he noticed that his face went into panic mode.
"AAHH!" Izuku screamed as he swung his arms aimlessly, he did make contact with something though and it was the opposite wall. Izuku crashed into making Barton wince, but the worst was not ever yet as he bounced off that wall and landed smack dab in a dumpster.
Izuku was now covered in trash and cut from the contact with the brick wall and less not forget the crash into the dumpster. The teen groaned aloud, if he thought that his body was hurt before, then the moment he moves he is going to find out the true definition of pain.
"Kid, you alive?!" Izuku heard Barton basically check if he was alive and Izuku did respond.
"I wish I wasn't right now." Barton looked down from the building just as Izuku said that and smiled.
"No pain, no gain my friend. Now come back up and let's try again." Izuku laid his head down back in the garbage, he was really starting to rethink this whole hero business. The way Barton was going he might be in a wheelchair by the time the UA exams come.
'Maybe All Might was on to something about not being a hero.' Izuku painfully thought as he heard his teacher call him up again. This was going to be a long eight months for Izuku, but when it was over he will be better and stronger than ever.
Training Montage
For the eight months Izuku and Barton trained to increase the teen's skill and increase it they did. Izuku archery skills was the first thing that had to be worked on, the bow was going to be his main weapon so he needed to get better and improve. Izuku practices with his bow everyday, he never goes to the junkyard without it.
Even taking it home and school, he spent hours online looking up archery forms and taking notes from archers that performed in Olympics. He asked for advice for his own school archery club on forms and technique, and with the notes that he gained Izuku had improved. In the beginning Izuku could not shoot an arrow five feet, now he shoots more than a mile out. To say that Barton was more than proud of his growth is understatement.
As his shooting improved Izuku muscles grew, Barton put him in a work out plan that was built for Avenger. Izuku had no complaints and accepted, he did everything that his teacher told him and the growth had shown. His muscles were more defined, no more was the weak skinny kid he was, but now a stronger, more confident teen.
Inko saw the change in her soon and wanted in on it the workout, since taking care of Izuku she had lost her figure. Now it was time to get old body back and she got it. Inko created her own workout plan and the results were better than ever, she got her old body and had the neighborhood men talking about the hot Milf that lived on the block. Izuku could not be more than happy for his mom, she had sacrificed a lot since his dad died and now it was time for her to live her life for her now.
When it came to fighting Izuku still struggled, his hand to hand combat was rough to say the least and Barton clearly reminded him of that everyday when they fought. There is no easy way to say this, but Izuku got his ass kicked...thoroughly and badly. He never stood a chance against the former Avenger.
It was bad enough getting his butt whooped by a 75 year old grandpa, but it's worse when that same old man starts cracking jokes as he kicks his butt. Hand to hand combat is something that Izuku is going to have to work for, but Barton made him feel better that he sucked at it when he was twice his age. In fact Barton told Izuku of how his best friend used to destroy him in their spars, so what the teen is going through has happened to his master.
The biggest change in Izuku during the eight months of training came from his confidence, it skyrocketed from the shy timid teen that always stuttered out his first word to the cocky teen that was unafraid of anything and would constantly speak his mind, flirt with girls, talk his shit, and most importantly back it up in the process. It truly brought a tear to Barton's eyes, his student is going to cause havoc for everyone in the future and he can't be more proud.
Day Before The Exams
Now this brings us to the present day where Izuku got off the bus, the teen had changed from the eight months. His fashion sense had also changed, now he was more loud, more fresh, more swaggy. Izuku was wearing a black shirt with a white flower petal design on the side, dark blue jeans, on his feet were all white and freshly clean Air Force 1's.
In his ears were his green wireless buds and around his neck was a silver chain, Izuku had much cash left over from all the stuff that he sold from his collection. All his All Might posters, action figures, mugs, rugs, whatever that was All Might, even the rare stuff, he got rid of it all and sold it alone bringing back a fortune in return.
Izuku kept true to his word and was done with All Might, gone with the colors of yellow and blue from his room, the signature colors of All Might. He had truly reinvented himself and it was not over yet, he had still had to prove everyone wrong and that's starting by getting into UA.
Izuku walked into the junkyard that had basically become like a second home to him, if he wasn't at his actual home then he was here training. "Barton!" Izuku called out to his teacher, he told him to meet him here, but found no one. Izuku continued to walk around the junkyard in hopes of finding his teacher.
Barton would always find him so he never really had to do these hide and seek games unless it was part of his lesson and this time it wasn't. Barton had told him that he had something important to talk to him about.
"Barton! Barton!" Izuku sighed after yelling his name twice. The teen was starting to get annoyed, but lucky for him he got a text message from his teacher. Izuku grabbed his phone and looked at the message with a raised eyebrow.
"Head to the range, left you a gift there." Izuku said aloud, he knew of the range, it's where he and Barton did their target practice. Izuku just shrugged his shoulders and started to make his way over there, when he got there he saw that the target dummies were set up, there was still no Barton, but there was something. A brief case, a large one that looked like it held something big or a lot of items in it. Izuku walked to the case and saw a note on it, he grabbed it before opening the case and saw that the note was from his teacher.
"Dear, Izuku. Listen, news came up and I got to go. Might not be back for while, but I will still keep my eyes on you and keep you updated with some news. Anyways I left you present for all the hard work that you did these past eight years. Izuku, I had no intentions of taking a student in, in fact I was in Japan for vacation till I met you and by chance I found you about the dumbest mistake of your life. You should be proud of what you accomplished in these eight months, kid you are stronger, faster, sharper, more confident, and I would say a certified badass." By now Izuku was starting to tear, he hated crying. It was something that the old him would do nonstop and he thought that he got rid of him and now he was tearing up as he continued to read the letter.
"I taught everything that I know, whatever is left will be up to you to figure, but I know you got it. I trained you to be the best and the best is where you are going to be one day. Don't let what others say discourage you, don't even hate them for it, instead make them eat their words and show the world just how great you are. You'll do fine tomorrow on the exam and when you get to UA you'll be even better and the girls there I hear are...how you kids say it bad lol. Anyway I best be going, the case is left to you, it will have a new bow and some personal arrows in it. In time you will need to upgrade your own gear, but I know that your mind is capable of coming up with cool arrows. Red fletching arrows are explosive ones, yellow for electric, green for normal tipped arrows, and most important are the black ones. The black are for extreme cases and are to be used only for emergencies. I left you two, don't waste them."
"PS: I left something else for you in this case. Something that will help you complete any outfit that you wear. These babies go with anything and that doesn't help, that'll make you feel cool."
"PPS: Your mom is hot ;)"
Izuku shook his head at his teacher's antics, he sure was one of a kind. Now that he finished reading the letter Izuku opened up the large case and did see what Barton promised him. Inside the case there was a new black recurve bow. Izuku unfolded the bow and saw how light it was, not only that it was very sturdy so if things got too close for comfort his bow could always do damage.
Pulling the string of the bow Izuku got a feel for it very quickly, now it was time to try out the arrows. Izuku grabbed the explosive arrow first and decided to line it up with his bow string. The teen attached the nock to the string and lined up his shot with the training dummy. With his target in sight Izuku pulled the string back and then let it go letting the arrow fly forward like a bullet making a whis sound in the process. When the arrow tip touched the dummy the arrow exploded and destroyed the dummy in the explosion.
"Oh shit!" Izuku exclaimed as he looked at the dummy, it was in pieces with small flames around it. The teen looked back down at the case, just wondering what other toys Barton left him.
"I am going to have sooo much fun with this thing." Izuku joked as he folded up the bow, it was time for him to head home. Tomorrow was the big day and he was going to make sure that he is going to bring his A game. Before he closed the bag though Izuku spotted something in the case, surprisingly it was another case, but smaller. The teen grabbed it and opened the case, what he saw made him gain a huge smile that would equal All Might. Izuku took the object out of the case and threw it away, it was not going to be needed anyhow.
Izuku raised the object to his face and slid it in between his ears, officially completing his look and donning his shades for the first time. The black shades had green lenses and were the signature mark of Hawkeye. By Barton giving Izuku a pair tells everyone who his master is and shows that his legacy will live even after he is gone.
The archer now had everything that he needed and decided to leave the training area that he called a second home for eight months. Unknown to him though his teacher was watching from a nearby rooftop. Barton watched his student through his own pair of shades, his student was carrying the gift that he left him and the man just smiled. His student is going too far and won't be long before he is ready to enter the next level.
"Time to go," Barton heard the female voice behind him and just sighed, vacation had officially come to end and it was time to get back to work of saving the world without even knowing it.
"You really think he is going to be ready?" Barton smiled as he turned around to face the woman, it was a simple answer.
"Oh, I know he will be ready? Now let's go save the world for the millionth time." The woman turned around as well as both of them walked forward to see the jet de-cloak itself.
"That never gets old." Barton joked as he walked onto the jet, the woman right behind him turned to look back at the teen. She only looked for a moment, but soon she turned head back and walked up the ramp of the jet. When both occupants were on the jet the ramp brought itself up soon cloaking itself once again, the jet took off leaving everyone none the wiser.
The Next Day (Exam)
Izuku walked onto the grounds of the UA owned building. This is it, today is the day that he starts his path of proving everyone wrong. Today is the day he takes the UA exams and he passes it to get into his dream school of UA.
The archer looked around to see many teenagers all of them having the same dream as him, he even saw Katsuki unfortunately. Izuku inhaled a deep breath of air, it was time for him to show up and show out. Izuku carried his black duffel bag in his hand, the bag containing all of his archery equipment. It was time to head in now and he would have if someone didn't bump into him.
"Oh, I'm sorry." A voice apologized to Izuku and the teen turned his head to the direction of the voice to see a short haired blonde teen with blue eyes. The teen looked to be the same age as Izuku and the archer didn't sense any hostility from the other so he introduced himself.
"It's cool. I'm Izuku, Izuku Mirodiya."
"Daniel, but please call me Danny, Danny Yagi." Danny introduced himself and both teens shook hands as they began to speak more.
"Your name, it's American right?" Izuku guessed right when Danny nodded his head, he spoke Japanese well, but it also seemed like he had some American in him as well.
"Yup, mom is American and my dad is Japanese. Here to take the UA exams?" Izuku smirked as both teens began to walk and talk.
"Course, why else would I be here. You got a quirk?" Izuku asked the American and Danny nodded his head as he raised his fist to Izuku. The archer saw the fist light up in a yellow color and when it did Danny announced the name of his quirk.
"It's called Iron Fist. Trust you don't want to be hit by this thing." Izuku whistled as he looked at Danny fist, it didn't look like much, but Barton taught him that looks can be deceiving.
"What about you, what's your quirk?" Danny asked if the archer was in for a shock when Izuku told him what his quirk is.
"Don't have none, I'm quirkless." Danny widened his eyes as Izuku kept on smiling, he was no longer ashamed of admitting that he was quirkless, in fact he embraced it.
"Wow...that's really awesome. I really hope you make it in."
"Oh, I don't plan on making it in. I know I'm going to make it in, but the same to you as well." Danny got a tick mark on the side of his head. Izuku seems like a nice guy, but Danny could see that he is pretty cocky.
"Yeah, thanks. Guess we should head in, also I meant to ask. What's with the shades?" Izuku smiled when he heard the question, he touched the side of his shades and just by doing that it reminded him of his teachers.
"They make me feel cool." Izuku told him with a smile as he walked to the door, Danny shrugged his shoulders and followed the teen inside the building. When both teens arrived they saw many potential students in the large auditorium-like room.
Danny nudged Izuku, he turned his head to see Danny pointing his hand at two empty seats. Izuku nodded his head and both of them took their seats. Just as they did the lights cut and the room became completely dark, soon smoke began to arise from the stage and the light came back on to point directly at the center of the stage.
Small fireworks went off as rock music began to play and soon a single figure was being raised to the floor unveiling the one and only Rock Hero Present Mic. When the Present Mic arose from the hidden entrance on the stage he grabbed a microphone from his back pocket and yelled into it.
"Someone give me a hell yeah!" No gave him hell yeah and he was only met with silence.
"Sheesh, tough crowd. Anyway, welcome one and all to the UA entrance exams, here you will take two separate tests to prove that you are good enough to be at the school. The first test will be the written test and the second will be the heroic exam. You need to have a score of 80% on both tests in order to be accepted into UA. Any questions?" Someone did have a question and looked to be some taller teen with glasses, but Izuku ignored him and just leaned him back. He was chilling, he was not worried about it one bit. Barton had prepared him for this moment, so he was not sweating bullets.
When all questions were answered the papers were starting to be handed out by some of the staff. "Good luck," Danny said to Izuku and he replied with the same. Silence ensued between them before Izuku broke it.
"Bet I finish first."
"I'll take that bet." Danny replied as both teens got their test and started at the same time. Both were racing through the questions and answering them to the best of their knowledge. When they were done they both stood up at the same time and announced to Present Mic that they had finished.
"Finished/Done!" Both Danny and Izuku yelled, one would think that would it, but they were wrong when both competitive teens raced down the stairs to hand in their test. Present Mic took the test and told them they could head to the lockers to change.
"See you in the exam." Danny commented and Izuku nodded his head as he moved to the lockers, it was time to get ready, but before they did Danny had some final words.
"Bet I get more points than you."
"I'll take that bet." Izuku told him as began to make his way to the locker, when he got there he unzipped his duffel bag and grabbed his clothes.
The archer changed into a pair black sweats, a green shirt, and he put on a black archery glove that covered his index, middle, and ring fingers. Izuku tied his sneakers on and then grabbed his folded bow from the bag, he unfolded it and now the last piece was his quiver.
This green quiver carried an abundant number of arrows that was given to him from his teacher, but now that Izuku had everything that needed he headed to the waiting area for the heroic exam. When he arrived Izuku saw Danny already there in a grey beater shirt and black sweats, just by looking at the American's arms Izuku could see that he was pretty well built Izuku went to the wall and leaned on it, it was going some time before he the exam would start so if might as well listen to some music.
Few Minutes Later
As time passed more and more of the examiners started to come into the waiting area, Danny was meditating on the floor with his legs crossed and Izuku was learning on the wall with his headphones in his ear. At this point he wanted to take the exam now, but Barton taught him about patience. As the room filled up Izuku could sense that the time was near as did Danny, they were right when the lights turned off. When the room got dark Izuku got off the wall and Danny got up from the floor, all eyes were on the large screen that hung on the wall.
"All right kids, it's time for the heroic exam and that means it's showtime." After those words from Present Mic everyone in the room saw the countdown start. Izuku grabbed his grip on his bow and Danny rolled his neck. The countdown was not at 5...4...3...2..1...then the word GO was shown. When the doors opened the first two out the door were none other than Izuku and Danny. Both teens looked at each other, their eyes glanced at each other and a smile appeared on both teens.
Without a word said between them the two dashed off separately into the mock city. Izuku looked ahead and saw a one pointer, he grabbed his arrow from his quiver and attached it to his bow string, when the villain saw Izuku the teen launched his arrow at the bot. The arrow flew like a bullet and hit the villain bot right in the red lens, the arrow penetrated the bot and thanks to it being an explosive arrow the bot exploded in a ball of fire.
Izuku smiled and stopped running, he turned to his side to look at the tall skyscraper in front of him, this is exactly what the teen was looking for. Izuku grabbed two more arrows from his quiver and fired it at the two two-pointers that clung to the side building like spiders. One exploded and the other circuits short circuited thanks to the arrow being an electric arrow. Both villain bots crashed to the ground.
The archer did not stop though as he fired another arrow that reached the top of the building, when the arrow of the building Izuku was pulled up. Barton had trained him to see the best view for a bird from the sky. The line shot Izuku to the top of the building and the teen landed on his feet. Izuku went back to the ledge and smiled at the view that he was looking at, he could see all the other potential students and that meant he could see all the villain bots.
"Time to have some fun," Izuku's smile held some...no, all forms brashness to it. The villain bots were about to stand no chance as Izuku loaded the bow with another arrow and with just one release the massacre began.
Observation Deck
The teachers of UA all watched the teens destroy the villain bots, all of them were taking notes on what they were seeing. While there were some that impressed them, there were only two that truly stood above the rest. One was Danny as he destroyed a three pointer with a single punch and the second was Izuku who was basically shooting fish in a barrel. The teen marksmanship had gotten the attention of the only marksman in the room in Snipe.
"Kid, is not bad. What kind of quirk does he have?" Aizawa was the one that looked at Izuku's file and was intrigued to say the least, but he showed no emotion to it. All he did was stoically announce the name of his quirk.
"Quirkless." All eyes turned except for two turned to the lazy hero, Aizawa even showed them the file on Izuku to prove what he was saying was true. "Says here he's been quirkless ever since he was born." Aizawa stated for the record as he just watched Izuku steal the points of two other students by blowing off the heads of the villain bots.
"Quirkless or not kid's got skill. Must've had quite the teacher." Snipe comments once again, it was rare for him to find someone like Izuku who has great aim and precision. On the other hand the two that didn't pay attention to what Aizawa was saying were All Might and Nezu.
All Might was shocked to see Izuku here, he did not expect the teen to not only be here at the exams, but to be doing so well. Nezu was not like everyone else when it came to shock, but he was most certainly intrigued by what he was seeing from Izuku.
'That form, that precision, that weapon, and those shades, it all points to him. Heh, well. It seems that the old archer finally found a student. Is trying to bring them back?' Nezu thought with a knowing smile as he sipped his tea, Izuku was already getting a vote from him. He could not pass up the chance to meet the young man, but not only that, no way was he going to allow rival schools to get their hands on a gem like him. Snipe said it best Izuku has the skills and if those skills are refined and sharpened he could be one of the best.
Exam Room
Izuku sighed as he looked out at the mock city, the teen had earned more than enough points. Right now he was relaxing at the top of the skyscraper, enjoying the view and his work that laid around him below the ground. The archer had littered the ground beneath him with various parts of machinery. The bots stood no chance against him for he was literally shooting fish in a barrel, today was basically target practice for him.
"Gets that will call it a day." Izuku had spent most of his arrows in his quiver on the exam, in fact he only had two arrows left. "Alright, I best get down." Izuku spoke aloud as he grabbed his second to last arrow, he was about to fire it before he heard a loud rumbling.
"Whoa," The teen steady himself and looked at the direction of where the sound was coming from, he saw that it was a big villain bot that was the size of a building.
"Guess that will be the zero pointer. I got nothing in my bag that can take that down so I will be heading to the entrance." Izuku believed it best to be at the entrance, there was no point in taking on the zero pointer especially when there were no points involved.
Just as he was about to leave the archer heard a loud cry for help. Izuku looked to where the sound was coming from and saw a girl that was trapped under some debris. The girl was near the entrance and none was coming to help her from the looks of it.
'What are those idiots doing? She needs help.' Seeing that no one was going to help Izuku had no choice but to interfere and that meant getting in the way of the zero pointer then so be it. Izuku's face became determined as he fired his grapple arrow at the closet building, the arrow hit the ledge and Izuku jumped down from the spot that he was located. The teen used his grapple line to swing the location of the girl and when he landed close to the ground Izuku cut the line from his bow, crashing on the ground Izuku rolled through and quickly rose to his feet.
"You ok?" Izuku quickly asked her, the zero pointer looked to be closing in and he needed to hurry up and get her out of here.
"My ankle, I think it's stuck." Izuku saw where her ankle was and saw that he could wedge his bow between the ankle and the debris. Izuku quickly went to the girl's ankle and wedged his bow into the gap, he then started to push up and started to lift the heavy debris up the best that he could. Ochako felt her ankle be free and it was enough for her to move herself out of her position.
With Ochako's ankle free Izuku quickly grabbed her and carried her bridal style which made her blush, but he ignored it for they needed to go. Izuku started to move, running his fastest as he held the girl in his arms, but as he ran he looked at all the so-called future heroes at the entrance.
"Hey jackasses, I could use someone very powerful right about now to take that large thing out!" Izuku screamed at them and even screamed that they were still frozen like statues. Izuku shook his head. 'What's the point of giving these people powers if they are going to do nothing with it?' Izuku asked himself with annoyance, lucky for him someone had heard his call for help and decided to show just how powerful he was.
"Detroit Smash!" Izuku stopped running when he heard that and turned to look to see Danny of all people flying through the air like he was shot by one of his arrows. Izuku watched to destroy the zero pointer with power that he had never seen in his life before, but while the zero pointer was destroyed Danny was falling to the ground helpless.
"He's falling!" Ochako screamed and Izuku put her down, he was not going to let that happen.
"I got him." Izuku ran from Ochako, she was safe and now it was up to him to save Danny. Izuku grabbed his last arrow and lined it up with his bow string. As he got to Danny the archer began to run parallel to him, Izuku then slid seeing that this was going to be a tight and when he saw his moment the archer fired the arrow.
Danny closed his eyes fearing the worst and just as the ground was approaching something took Danny right out of the air. Danny for a moment felt nothing and opened his eyes to see that he was hanging in the air thanks to an arrow.
"Damn am I good or am I good?" Danny heard Izuku's voice, he knew that cocky tone anywhere and looked to see the archer coming over to him. Izuku had a smile on his face, this was reminiscent of how he met his teacher, the difference is there wasn't as much destruction.
"Nice shooting," Danny complimented as Izuku removed his arrow from his clothes and now both teens laid on the ground exhausted.
"Nice punching." Both of them laughed as silence ensued by them.
"I won the bet." Danny said and Izuku had to disagree with that.
"Nah, I won." Again both laughed, not knowing that both of them tied for first, but right now it didn't matter to them. What they had right now was the start of a beautiful friendship and it was something that they were both going to look forward to.
Observation Deck
"Are we really going to do this?" Midnight asked and Nezu nodded his head, this was confirmation from him that what is about to transpire is going to happen. A first time ever for his school and probably the start of breaking down a wall that should have never been put up.
"Alright, we'll send out the messages of those that pass." Aizawa and the teachers all nodded their heads. Things were going to be different at UA, very different for the first time ever a quirkless student will be in the Hero Class 1-A.
Elsewhere
Barton laid in the chair of the jet that he was in, he was going to who knows where to complete a mission, but his thoughts were on his student. He wonders if he passed on UA exams, well he knew that he passed so he was really wondering what score he got. Lucky for him his answer was about to come.
"I got something for you?" Barton looked at the woman that he helped raise, she had become a great leader, but that was always in her blood. Like father like daughter, is that how the saying goes. Barton just grabbed the file from her hand and smiled when reading it. What the file showed is the test scores of his apprentice. Izuku Midiroya, Test Results: Tied for first.
"Good job kid, good job." The woman sat in front of Barton as he continued to read over the file of his student. When he was done he put down the file on top of another and gave the woman a knowing look.
"I told you that he was worth it and soon he will be ready for the next level." The woman rolled her eyes at the old Avenger.
"We'll see." That is all that the woman said as she looked down at another file that was right underneath Izuku's. One particular file that stood out above the rest, this file closed with a name on it. The name on the file was none other than this. Task Force 141: Secret Avengers Initiative.
Izuku has entered the next level by getting accepted into UA, but the work is far from over. Now that he is UA he has to prove that he belongs there to be there. Unknown to him though, in the shadows friendly forces move closer and closer to him and it truly won't be long before Izuku graduates to a whole new world that he never thought could exist.
