Yukime wasn't joking about the restaurant. Duel Academy sure had some neat places for the students to hang out. This place was built in a cave right next to the cliffs over the ocean.
There are tables with cloths over them and thanks to Yukime's family connections, she was able to hook us up a place right by a rail over the ocean. I can smell the salty air around us, and it's not that nasty pungent smell you get when you go to crowded public beaches. This was really nice and Yukime's perfume mixed in was just a great touch of perfection.
Yukime and I sit down. A waiter approaches with our menus and asks us for drinks. I order orange soda and Yukime just asks for a glass of water. The waiter gives us ten minutes to think about what to order. I pick up the menu and skim around what they have.
The prices were out of this world. As I look around I notice that only obelisk blue students are sitting here. Whoever built this place wanted to make it exclusive to them. Man, the elitism that goes on here. It almost felt like discrimination, but the students sitting here ordering all this food that cost as much as their tuition didn't seem to care.
I order a bone-in ribeye that cost a few price points more than the obelisk blue jacket I was forced to wear.
"Just what in the world does your family do that gets you access to any table you want here?" I asked.
Yukime sets down her menu. "Just the fact that you asked that shows you known nothing about the Tsukiyono Family," she said.
"Should I have?" I asked.
"My clan is only the most dangerous and well-connected mafia in the eastern hemisphere."
I feel a shiver run up my spine and she blabbers on and on about her family's exploits. Mafia? She was mafia?
"You're mafia?" I asked while she kept yakking about her father, who was the head of the entire family.
"Yeah, what have I been telling you these past few minutes." Yukime picks up her glass. She swirls it around with her wrist. Yukime has this really sexy grin on her face. I could read it like a book. She was asking me if I really wanted to keep this going now that I knew who she was and what her family was capable of.
Her dad was pretty much the emperor of the criminal underworld, having influence all across Japan, China, even Europe, and the United States.
Their little franchise was worth billions. That sure explained how she was able to get the owner of the place to get her any seat she wanted. If she could do that here, who knows what else she was capable of doing in the academy.
My dad is the owner of KenCORP, the largest telecommunications company in the world and our partnership with the likes of Industrial Illusions and Kaiba Corp added more money to sweeten the pot. She was impressed by this. She finally drank her water. She finished it on gulp. She set her water down then asks for more.
"You sure you can handle me, Conner Kenjiro?" she asks. She leans forward over the table just enough that the candlelight exposes her cleavage. She's teasing me. She didn't need to do that. I was already struck with her. Mafia or no mafia, I beat her.
And her ass now belonged to me.
Next Day
I wake up the next morning and learn that the architect and his team are on the way to build me my new living quarters. Meh, the obelisk blue dorm wasn't too bad but it could have been better. I get out of bed and message Yukime, letting her know that she had to meet me at the entrance to the academy once school started. We had a lot of classes together so it meant for time to spend with her.
I put my stuff in my backpack and head out the door. It's frigging cold out there for an island. I look for my friend Toshiro but he's not around in any of his spots. I can't wait around for him anymore so I go to school. That's when I see her. The queen of obelisk blue. Alexis Rhodes.
Man, Toshiro wasn't kidding about her. She was an absolute dream. Her hair was long and blonde and I can smell her skin cream as she walks by. I also notice her large bust pressed against her obelisk blue vest. It looked like she was smuggling melons under there. And her legs went on for days. Gawd, man, I love these obelisk blue skirts. If I could meet the guy who came up with them, I'd be his best friend forever lol.
If Alexis ever asked to be mine I'd dump Yukime in a heartbeat. But I'm not that type of guy. I can probably handle both of them. Maybe even more if I made the effort.
I wanted to introduce myself to her but she is surrounded by a huge flock of her fellow obelisk blu girls, lots of them were the ones that hung with Yukime the other day. I spot Alyssa in the group, she's the girl who squished her boobs around to tempt me. She sees me and gives me a smile to which I wave back.
"CONNER!" Toshiro shouts and jumps on me from behind. He had a piece of toast in his mouth and blabbers on and on about class.
I struggle to get him off me so I can meet Alexis. It's too late. Once I get him off, Alexis and the girls enter the academy and are gone.
"Aww man, isn't there someone else for you to bother," I said to him.
I walked to the entrance of the academy and notice some guy with black hair leaning by the door. His head was down and his eyes were closed as if he was sleeping or something. He was wearing the same obelisk blue jacket as I was. As I passed by, he moved and said my name. "Conner Kenjiro, right?" he said. "Yeah, I heard a lot about you."
"Who are you?" I said.
"The names Chazz Princeton," said the fellow obelisk. "They say you're really good but I'm not impressed."
"Is that right?"
"Yeah, that's right. I heard from that loudmouth friend of yours Toshiro that you've got eyes on my girl, Alexis. You best stay away from her if you know what's good for you."
"She's your girl?" I laugh at him. "Why am I not convinced?"
"Well, she's not mine yet, but she will be. Stay away from Alexis if you know what's good for you, punk." He gets off the wall and heads inside.
"What in the hell was that all about?"
I feel an arm slip around mine. Its Yukime. After the fun evening we had together, she grew used to me. It's in my charm, I guess.
"That was Chazz Princeton," Yukime said. "he's one of the best duelists in the academy. I know your good and all Connker-kun, but I doubt you're as good as Chazz.
"I can handle him," I said. I put my arm over her shoulder and walk her down the hall. "he's just some punk."
"Your brave Conner. I like that. Just be careful, please."
"Don't worry about me, babe," I said to her. "I can handle myself. By the way. My new digs is about to be built. The family architect found a nice piece of land by the sea to put it in. He said he can have it up in a month."
"Sounds good, Conner-Kun" said Yukime. "I can't wait to see it. You'll have an extra room for me, right?"
"And more," I said.
After school, Yukime and me walk out of school to soak up some sunshine. But our break is short. April Hikari approached me. She put her hands on her hips to show she was pissed off at me. She didn't like seeing Yukime sitting on my lap.
"I've had enough of this!" she said. "You think you can just come here and take any girl you want?"
"Yeah," I said to her. "I get you're mad that Yukime lost but I won fair and square. She's my girlfriend now and you have to get used to that."
"How about we make a wager? If I win Yukime doesn't have to date you anymore. If I win...you can have me too?"
"April?" said Yukime.
I laugh at her. "What makes you think I want you?"
"I know you macho types. And I can read you like a book Conner. What do you say?"
"Well, if that's what you want."
She and I turn on our duel disks.
"Just so you know," I said. "There's no backing out now, April Hikari, once you're mine, you're mine forever. Got it?"
"Got it. I draw!" said April. "I set a card face-down and summon Mermaid Knight!"
"My turn!" said Conner.
"Go easy on her, Conner," said Yukime.
"Heh! I don't think so. I'm going all out on her. I activate fusion deployment! I choose a fusion monster in my extra deck and summon one of its fusion materials. I summon Yuuhi of the Souten Fists. Next, I summon Koukokou of the Souten Kicks. And he lets me add a Souten trap to my hand. I set one card face-down and attack your mermaid knight with Yuuhi!"
Yuuhi runs to her mermaid and punches her so hard her head soars over the trees. I then attacked her directly with Koukokou and he kicks her in the stomach which takes away 800 of her LP.
"Ow! Meanie!" she shouts, rubbing her belly.
"Had enough?" I said.
"As if!" she retorted. "I was just testing you, Conner! Time to take off my kiddie gloves. I use Moray of Greed. I'll shuffle two water monsters back to my deck and draw three cards. Then, Graceful Charity. I draw three cards and discard two. Now I activate the field spell, Umiiruka! This card is gonna cause quite a splash!"
All of a sudden the courtyard we stood in disappeared and turned into a beach.
"I like this new change in scenery," said Yukime.
"Yeah, so do I," I agreed. "All that this place needs to make it paradise is a hot dog in my hand, a nice cold soda in the other, and you in a nice red bikini."
Yukime shows me a big beautiful smile. Her cheeks turned red like an apple. "Conner? Seriously? I'm blushing."
April couldn't believe it. Was Yukime really falling for me, she wondered in her head. She couldn't have been more wrong. Yukime was already digging me. I knew she would.
"Yuki!" said April. "You seriously can't be considering liking this guy."
"It was a little awkward at first, April-chan, but after the fun we had last night, it's safe to say that hanging out with him is a pretty fun experience.
"No need for her to take your word for it," I said to Yukime. "She's going to find out for herself how fun being with me is gonna be. I'm going to kick her ass in this duel and she'll learn to appreciate me."
"You're so gross!" said April. "I'm not yours. And Yukime-chan won't be either. I now activate the spell, Double Summon. This lets me summon two monsters this turn. I choose to summon Water Girl and Waterdragon Fairy!"
Wow! Two pretty female duel monsters appear in front of April from swirling water. One was almost naked in a revealing blue swimsuit and she had green hair. The other girl was in a skimpy shinobi style dress that revealed her legs and she had pink hair made into long pigtails like sailor moon.
"Nice monsters," I said.
"You won't think so after this," said April. "I use Monster Reborn to bring back Fairy of the Fountain in attack mode!"
She summons a naked green fairy with a golden jar with long green hair.
"Yo, Conner!" Toshiro shouts, running toward me. "Aw, man! This doesn't look good man."
"Tell me about it," I said to him as I look over my shoulder. "I have a feeling this is about to get a lot worse."
"No shit, man! Her Umiiruika field spell will increase the attack of all water monsters by 500 points."
I give a gulp. That means her Waterdragon Fairy was now 1600. Her Water Girl was standing strong at 1750. And her Fairy of the Fountain had 2100.
"I'm going to finish you, Conner!" April said with a cold voice. She was hella determined to get Yukime away from me. "I power up my Waterdragon Fairy with Power of Kaishin!"
Waterdragon Fairy held up her hand. A long trident appeared and she grabbed it. "My spell will increase her ATK by 300 points, raising her to 1900! All your monsters will be wiped out and I'll have a go at your life points! First, I'm going to get rid of your Koukohou! Fairy of the Fountain attack!"
The naked water fairy rubbed her jar. Water that was glowing bright green poured out. The water turned into a dragon. The dragon roared. It flew towards my monster and beat him with one hit. My LP made that annoying beeping sound as they went down to 2700.
"Now, I'll attack Yuuhi with Waterdragon Fairy! Drown his stupid fighter!"
Waterdragon Fairy summoned a dragon made of water too. The dragon spiraled around her. She was shaking her hips around as if she was trying to seduce me. I smile at her and surprisingly, she smiles back. The water dragon she made flew at Yuuhi and blasted him. He shattered into a million triangles and my LP went down by a little to 2600.
"Now my Water Girl will attack you directly!"
Like her description said, Water Girl summoned water and turned it into ice then shot them at me. But I was ready.
"I activate the trap card, Souten Returns! Yuuhi of the Souten Fists is brought back from the GY!"
My fighter jumped out of the ground and blocked Water Girl's ice spikes one by one with his iron fists.
"YEAH!" Toshiro raised his fist. "Way to turn things around, Conner!"
"No! I was so close!" April whined.
"Deal with it, toots. Also, thanks to my trap, I can summon a Souten Spirit token in defense mode. "And speaking of Souten Spirit Tokens, you're about to see more. My turn! I activate Pot of Greed and get two cards. Next, I play the spell Souten Calling. I discard a card from my hand and summon four Souten Spirit Tokens!"
The dragon statues form around Yuuhi.
"Time to end this duel! You gave it a good try, April Hikari. But your ass is mine! First, I fuse my Yuuhi with the two Koukorou of the Souten Kicks in my hand. Rise my heavenly general! Annihilate our enemy with your golden fists! Arise Kongou, Heavenly General of the Souten!"
My ultimate fighter appears in front of me. He stomps on the ground. He's so strong and so big that he shakes the sand.
"Now I fuse two of my tokens together to create Gaia, of the Souten Fists!"
My blazing red fighter takes the stage and punches the air.
"And with his effect, my Souten fusion monsters gain 300 ATK. And for my last trick, I activate Fusion Deployment and summon another Yuuhi and I'll fuse him with more of my tokens to create Gaiun of the Souten Kicks!"
Need I say more? After I pummel all her monsters, Kongou finished the game and punches her in the stomach, and sends her flying away. She lands on her back. Her LP goes down to 0.
"And Conner wins again!" Toshiro shouts. He runs up to me and puts his arm over my shoulder. I almost gag from the strong colone he wears. "Conner, that's another babe under your wing. What's your secret? You gotta tell me."
"I...I can't believe I lost," April said. She looks up at me. "Have mercy."
"Mercy?" I said. I release myself from Toshiro's grip. "You should have thought of that before challenging me. A deal's a deal, April. Now both you and Yukime have to date me."
I give her my hand to help her up. As I do, I noticed that some obelisk blue students were looking down at me from a balcony. One of them was Alexis. She looked at me with a stern glare as her cheek rested on her palm. The other was a very tall, very stern-looking dude with long blue hair. It didn't take me long to realize that was Zane Truesdale, the best player in the school. Heh. Well for now anyway. Alexis gets up and follows him away.
"What was that all about?" I asked.
"Looks like Zane's been scouting you," said Yukime. "You and Jaden Yuki are the talk of the school and Zane is always on the lookout for worthy opponents to face."
"Jaden Yuki," I said. "Yeah, I forgot Crowler asked me to beat him."
"I don't think you could," said April. She dusts the dirt off her skirt. "Jaden defeated Dr. Crowler at the entrance exams. Did you know he almost beat Chazz Princeton a few nights ago?"
"Say what? Really?" I start to laugh. "I just met that punk before school started. Heh, if a Slifer slacker like Jaden can almost beat him, then I guess Chazz isn't as tough as they say he is."
"Don't get cocky, Conner," said Yukime. "You're on a roll and I'd hate to see you get taken down so soon because you rushed into beating all these legends walking around here."
"I'm not afraid of them," I said. "I'll take them down and become a legendary duelist myself. Just wait and see!"
