Alright let's get on with this story. I do not own Dragon Ball or any of it's characters besides my own. (I own my original story on wattpad though. Go check it out.) Let's get it!
Callion had enjoyed his time with 18, but he hated how angry she seemed the entire time. He had tried to lighten the mood by telling a few jokes but 18 weren't feeling the jokes at all which eventually caused Callion to give up on trying to become her friend. She was exactly like how she was in the anime, cold, but deep down inside he knew her true self, he just couldn't find a way to deal with her.
Days had passed with nothing happening. Callion hadn't seen 18 in days, but he could tell that all the Z-warriors were still on edge even after all the time that had passed. Trunks had been training with Vegeta, Gohan with Goku, Krillin with Tien, and Piccolo with Callion.
Eventually, they all felt themselves hitting a wall that they couldn't overcome. No one was getting stronger, but they all knew they had to improve in other ways which might not involve strength alone.
Callion was the first to figure it out. He'd developed two new moves to add to his arsenal once he reached his limit and he'd been proud of the progress he'd made outside of just power. His two new moves consisted of a trap move that trapped his opponents in a cage surrounded by ki, but it only lasted 10 seconds before it disappeared. It wasn't meant to do any damage, but it was capable of slowing his opponents down long enough for him to come up with a game plan. His other move wasn't as clever, but it was powerful.
The first attack was named, Bird Cage, in which Callion mentally slapped himself for being so uncreative. His super attack was named Absolute Power Beam.
Callion had also been spending a lot of time with Bulma because he was the most knowledgeable on the Android's next to 16 who had also been a big help to Bulma. They had figured out a way to shut the androids down with the press of a button. Once they found and remade the remote, they had made a plan just in case the Android's decided to fight against them. 16 agreed that it would be the best course of action.
Though things had been peaceful, Callion had managed to stay alert, until one day an attack actually came.
Callion felt the portal open somewhere near North City. He quickly grabbed his jacket, threw it on, and dashed towards North City as fast as he could but he could already tell that lives were being lost. He could feel the energy of many people starting to disappear and knew that a massacre was occurring.
Eventually, Callion arrived and began searching for whoever was causing this much havoc. That was until he felt someone approaching him, then suddenly something tried to tackle him. Fortunately, Callion was prepared for anything and hadn't let his guard down at all.
Turning around, he kicked his new enemy into the ground then got a good look at who had attacked it.
It was a Salmon soldier.
"How?" He thought. The soldier picked his head up, then fired a blast from out of his mouth that Callion hardly dodged and even though the blast was small, it was incredibly fast and probably would have pierced his jacket if not for him dodging at the last second.
Before Callion could even do anything, a blast came right towards Callion, causing the saiyan to jump away from the body he was near, only for another blast to appear and completely obliterate the enemy Callion was stepping on.
Vegeta appeared soon after with an angry look on his face. "You're getting soft. Don't let that idiot, Kakarot, turn you into a softy."
Unfortunately, Vegeta was right and now that Callion got his memories back, he knew that the way he was before is the way he should always be. To spare an enemy's life could only let that enemy grow stronger and eventually come back to do harm. Callion needed to become a Saiyan again.
"Are there any more enemies?" Callion asked once Vegeta landed beside him.
"Yes, do you recognize them?" Vegeta said while looking at the pieces of armor, covered in blood, that had flown off the creature's body. Callion nodded his head and Vegeta smirked. "Those pesky Salmon soldiers are back."
Callion chuckled a bit. "No more pesky than Frieza's soldiers." Both Saiyans had been at the mercy of a well known empire. Vegeta with Freiza and Callion with Salmon.
"Whatever." Vegeta said as he began floating into the air. "Good luck." He said, then flew off with a cocky grin on his face.
"Vegeta clearly doesn't care why they are here, but I do." He thought as he watched Vegeta fly away. "They must have come here through the portal, but who is responsible for the portal?" A group of soldiers crashed down all around Callion with pure anger written all over their fish-like faces.
Right before the Salmon soldiers were about to attack, a disk came out of nowhere and split each soldier in half.
Krillin.
Callion turned around and saw his friends flying above him. Krillin, Tien, and Yamcha. They all wore smiles on their faces as they landed on the ground next to him with a noticeable amount of force. Probably showing their strength the best way they could against the scrubs who were attacking the city.
"What's going on?" Tien asked as he looked around at the destroyed city.
"Salmon soldiers." Callion answered simply with a relaxed look on his face. "They most likely came out of a portal, but I don't know who opened one."
Nodding their heads, everyone sped off into separate directions to continue to protect the people off Earth. Then suddenly Callion felt the ground beneath him shake and the incredible power of both Goku and Trunks.
Strange as it was, they weren't fighting each other. No. Their energies never clashed not once, but they were fighting something and Callion was pretty sure he knew who it was and he knew he had to do something about it.
Reaching the battle, Callion was shocked to see that it wasn't who he thought it was. The person he thought was surely Cell, turned out to be 17 who had come back for round two, only this time it looked like he was struggling against the power of the two Super Saiyans.
Trunks and Goku were throwing 17 around like a rag doll while also trying to get on his good side. 17, wasn't having any of it though and refused to listen to them even through the beating he was receiving.
"Goku." Trunks said as they both stopped fighting the Android in order to catch their breath. "We might have to just kill him so that nothing bad will come out of it. If we don't, Cell can become a big problem."
"I know." Goku said as he looked at 17. "But I can't bring myself to kill him!" There was a frustration in his voice that Trunks understood all too well, but Trunks knew what had to be done and wasn't afraid of taking that step.
Dashing towards 17, Trunks pulled his fist back and delivered a powerful blow into the stomach of the android then delivered a powerful downward kick into the neck of his opponent which sent 17 flying into the ground. Just as Trunks did his "gang signs" and was about to fire his burning attack, 18 came out of nowhere and punched Trunks into the ground.
"18!" Trunks yelled as he got up and brushed all the broken concrete off his capsule corp jacket. "What are you doing?"
"He's my brother!" 18 retorted. "I can't have you killing him!"
Pulling out his sword, Trunks dashed towards 18, but someone had grabbed onto his legs and slammed him into the ground over and over again.
Goku, having seen all of this, rushed in to help but was stopped by 18 who attacked him again and again while simultaneously pushing him into cars and causing them to explode. Luckily, there was no one in the cars, but for anyone who didn't have insurance, they would surely be having a difficult time.
Goku managed to break free from the barrage of attacks and began hitting 18 with a barrage of his own. Now they were on equal footing, except 18 had the benefit of having unlimited energy.
Krillin was having fun fighting the weaker soldiers but he was sad that he had to fight them because they all seemed very angry for some reason. As if they were being motivated purely by anger alone. Krillin didn't understand why they were so angry. It was almost as if someone had done something to them, but he didn't know what or do they could be angry at.
Regardless, he continued to plow through the enemies.
The battles with the Androids raged on, until Callion had gotten back and transformed into a super Saiyan to join the fight. As he rushed into battle, he first grabbed 18 and threw her away from Goku who had a shocked look on his face. Then he dashed over to Trunks and ripped his sword from the future Saiyan's hands.
"Enough!" Callion yelled as his aura flared up. Krillin appeared behind 17 just like Callion had planned and held his arms behind his back. Krillin had gotten quite strong while training with Callion, now Callion trusted Krillin to be able to keep up with all the Saiyans. His strength definitely came in handy now that Callion needed him to hold down the Android.
Yamcha then came along with the remote that he, 16, and Bulma had been working on and passed it to the Saiyan who pressed the button without wasting a second and 17 fell limply on the ground which caused 18 to wince a bit. "All you guys ever do is think with your muscles." Callion said angrily as he looked at the Saiyans. "I have been spending days with Bulma trying to figure out a way to stop this very thing from happening and it's made results."
"What if Cell comes?" Trunks questioned as he looked at both 17, who was still limp on the ground, and 18, who was watching everything happen.
"Then we'll be ready to take him on, but there's no point in wasting energy if we don't have too." Callion said, then he turned his attention to the still open portal that was just over the city. "That's what we have to focus on right now. In the meantime, Krillin please take 17 over to Bulma's." Callion said with a serious look on his face. "Trunks, go with him."
Both of them nodded their heads and flew off into the distance.
Sighing, Callion turned to everyone else. "We're going to blast that thing to hell."
"Why would that work?" Vegeta questioned with a high level of disbelief in his voice. "Don't those holes on suck things up?"
"Those Salmon soldiers came out of it so I imagine we can do something. If we don't destroy the portal then whatever is on the other side will get it's fair share of death."
Vegeta scoffed. "What a stupid plan."
"Got any better ideas?"
Silence.
Callion then placed his hands on the side of his body and spread his legs apart so that he could withstand the level of power he was about to release. He then began charging up his favorite attack.
Then Goku stood beside him using his signature Kamehameha stance along with Vegeta he also got beside Callion
Tien and Yamcha smirked as they watched the three super Saiyans charge up a blast that would surely devastate whatever was in their path. They didn't even feel the need to contribute because they knew that the power they were about to release would be more than enough.
"Hyper Spirit wave!"
"Kamehameha!"
"Galick Gun!"
The energies began to merge together as it began traveling towards the large portal above the city, then suddenly there was a white blinding light that everyone had to cover their eyes for.
Once the light was gone, no one knew what happened to the portal. They just knew that it was gone and they were happy about that fact alone.
Little did Callion know, 18's cheeks were burning while staring at him.
