I earned my baccalaureate studying literature many moons ago, but am now just another cog in the corporate machine. Stories in all their forms are my preferred method of detoxification (writing & reading primarily, with the occasional TV/film binge). I'm a sucker for a good slow-burn or dark/Gothic romance, particularly of the historical variety (mostly I just love copious amounts of sexual tension. It's all about the yearning), but I'm also a massive fantasy and paranormal romance junkie (magic, myths, monsters/preternatural creatures, curses, prophecies, deux ex machinas, powerful kick-ass women, brooding warrior men, happily-ever-afters... I love to consume and am guilty of utilizing all the tropes! #sorrynotsorry).

I am near-incapable of resisting anything in the vein of Beauty & the Beast as a motif (monster/maiden pairings are like crack to me) and enemies-to-friends-to-lovers in general is my kryptonite. I have a terrible weakness for well-written anti-heroes & redeemable villains (including but not limited to: rakes, rogues, scoundrels, & bastards). Beastly men with secret cinnamon roll centers - those rugged, red-blooded, slightly tortured types that could probably definitely kill you, but are also closeted romantics underneath all those complex layers (especially where the chosen lady-love is concerned) - *chef's kiss* - I can't say no.

I am well aware that all of my tastes pretty much land in the cliché category. I genuinely do not care. Just let me live.

A Note on My Juvenilia & Future Writing Projects: For those that read my old work from the OG days (i.e. roughly 30 stories of varying lengths & quality posted between 2005-2010), please note that those stories in their original forms will never be seeing the light of day again. This is non-negotiable. That being said, I am considering rewriting perhaps a couple more of those at some point (Taking Over Me, the Elizabeth/Dracula quartet, and The Eighth Deadliest Sin are the ones on my short list), but for now, the following are the only exceptions to the "will never repost" rule:
