The Unforgettable Night

"I am not lost, I just need to turn here and I'll be right-" but as Anakin turned, he saw that it was another dead end as he said, "Damm another dead end, I am sure the map said it was this way," said Anakin as he pulled out a holo-pad as he turns it on and looks over its date only to find that he was trick. "Damm this was a bust, I am just going to go back," said Anakin as he shut off the pad and started to head back to the Temple but as he started he spotted some lights in the distance as he turn and began to follow them, it didn't take long for him to find himself out of the corridors and into a much larger room as he saw that there was a small town that was here as he saw people walking around doing there own stuff as they lived there lives.

This place he had never seen before as he began to explore it looking at all of the sights, The people paid him no mind as he walks there streets, he even went to some of the street vendors until he found something he like and order it, but as he was finishing his food he passed another store, he gave it a glance but that was all he needed as he turns to it and read the sign, Outerworld Antique Store, Rare books, Gems, Parts and Tomes, The name it self caught his interest the Rare Parts got him inside as he figures he may find something he likes, he knew he had no money but maybe he could work something out with the owner as he enters he saw that place was pretty big as it had rolls of books cases, he began to explore it some more as he looks at all the store had as he saw some things he like, some of the parts he had never seen before but before he could look some more he heard a voice call out to him as he turns to see that the voice belog to an old man as Anakin smile as walk towards him.

"Yes sir," said Anakin as wonder what the man could want, he was not doing anything that was bad but it seem his worry was for not as the man spoke.

"I see you like our part over there, see anything you like," said the man as Anakin nodded as he began telling him what caught his eye as the man nodded.

"That's good to hear, I am glad someone like those old parts," said the man as he look Anakin over It was then he saw the robes he was wearing and also spotted something silver hidden within as things began to click in his head as he spoke. "If you want I may have something you like it's over here," said the man as he turn and walk towards the front of the store where the counter was as Anakin followed him, the man went behind the counter as he began look for something, after a few seconds he found it and place it on the counter as Anakin saw that it was a very large old book.

Anakin knew that Paper books were rare as most writers' books were put into Holopad like the one he had but as he took it and look it over he also saw that there was a purple gemstone place in the center of the book, as he was about to touch it the man spoke.

"So do you like it," said the man as Anakin nodded. "It's a very rare book itself, It once belongs to a Jedi before he died," said the man as a thought began to run in Anakin head as this book could have things that the Jedi archive did not, the force powers he could learn from it went through his mind as this could be a step towards him becoming a Knight and then a Master and then he could go and save his mother but then he was taken out from his thoughts the mand spoke again.

"So kid, would you like to buy it," said the man as this dash any dreams of Anakin as he knew he had no money to pay for the book as all he had was a few parts and his lightsaber and his last two force Crystals on him but as he was about to say sorry his mind went to the crystals as he pulled out one of his spare lightsaber crystals as he figures the gain he could have with the book outweigh the loss of his crystal.

And it look like it may work as the man quickly look took it from his fingers and began looking it over as he put it in a machine that Anakin guesses must somehow tell if it was real as only a few moments later the man came back with a smile on his face as he said.

Anakin now found himself inside the Jedi Temples Archives, around this time there was few Master's and Knight's, with some Padawan's wandering around as well, he went and found himself a spot that was away from them as he plan to read more about this mysterious book that shop owner sold him, he places the book on the table as he looks it over, but as he did his eyes went to the shining gem in the center as this was another thing that had first caught his eye.

Once he felt that he was ready again he turn back to the book a little smarter about what it could do as he figure he would try to look at it tomorrow as he close the book but as he did it was then he notice the Gem in the center was glowing as he knew it did not do that before, he didn't know why he did what he did but as he would later find out in the coming years it really didn't matter as he reaches out towards the gem and as his finger touch it, the gem gave off a blinding light as he turns away and as the light faded away he turns to his hand only to see that gem was now within his grasp, his eyes look over the gem once more as he took in every detail it had as though it may shed light on its secrets but that was when he heard another voice called out to him as he quickly put it in the pockets of his robe as he turns only to see that it was Xiaan Amersu.

Is there a problem Xiaan?" said Anakin as his fellow Padawan shake her head as though trying to get something off as Anakin stood up from her chair and put his hand on her shoulder to help as that was when he noticed he had the Gem in that hand, he notice as soon as he put his hand on her she stops as she looks at him he also notice that the Gem was glowing again like before as the color match Xiaan eyes.

With this information, Anakin did something that he would normally never do as it would lead to trouble but he wanted to see if it would work as he look at Xiaan.
