Olivia finds out she's pregnant with deans baby what happens when he doesn't want to be apart of it? Will Elliot step up and be the father to her child?

4:00am *Olivia's Apartment*
Olivia was jolted awake by this overwhelming sensation of nausea. She quickly stood up and ran to the toilet emptying he stomach with what used to be her dinner. Olivia sat on the floor unable to move without feeling like she was going to pass out or feint.
'Could I be pregnant….' Olivia thought to herself as she violently threw up again.
Once she was done throwing up she slowly got onto her foot and headed to the kitchen for a glass of water when she heard the door bell ring. She slowly made her way to the door and with the little bit of energy she had left she said "who is it!" She didn't get a response… that was weird "WHO IS IT!!" She said again, this time with more force.
She heard a quiet "Its Dean let me in" so the now pale and weak Olivia unlocked the several locks she had on her door and Dean walked in and said "Hey Liv, Whats wrong you look pale"
Olivia just responded with a shrug. She was confused as to why he was there so early but she assumed he had just been out all night drinking from the alcohol she could smell she assumed she was correct. She didn't want to tell Dean that she might be pregnant just in case she was Wrong. They spent the morning together before Olivia went into work and Dean went home to sober up and sleep it off"
7:30 am *Precinct*
During the elevator ride u to the 1-6 Olivia suddenly felt a wave of nausea flood over her like a tidal wave and as soon as the doors she bolted to the bathroom unaware that Elliot saw the whole thing.
Olivia bursted into the empty bathroom and spilled her guts out in the trash because she didn't make it to the toilet. She pulled back her hair and splashed water in her face before heading out to her desk.
Elliot sat waiting at Olivia's desk for her to come out of the bathroom. He was worried, Olivia never got sick 'I hope she's ok' he thought to himself right as he saw his pale weak partner and secret love of his life drag herself into the precinct. Elliot hated seeing her sick to he stood up and helped her to her desk.
Olivia was confused to all of the sudden has this arm around her helping her sit down as se walked into the precinct. She then realized that it was Elliot " El what are you doing" she asked confused "Im helping my obviously sick partner to her desk before I go and tell Cragen that she is going home" Elliot sad matter of factly "NO! Im fine El really, its just a bug"
"No its not just a bug Olivia you need rest" Elliot said in a stern voice.
Olivia realize that he wasn't going to back down so she said "Follow me" and they went into an interrogation room.
Elliot could see the tears welling up in her eyes and his heart instantly dropped. "Whats wrong Liv?" He exclaimed. "Im pregnant….." Elliot didn't even hesitate before hugging her and saying "Congratulations!" But as he pulled her into his chest her body just dropped she was hysterical. "Liv?" Elliot asked as he held all of her body weight and sat her in a chair before kneeling down to be eye level with her.
"Why are you crying? This is good news right? You have wanted a baby for so long and your wish finally…..!" Elliot stopped seeing that all he was doing was making her cry harder.
"I don't think Dean is going to be very happy though because he told me he hates kids!" Elliot heard his sobbing partner spit out those 2 words 'Hates kids?..' He couldn't wrap his head around it so all he could do is tell her "Its going to be fine honey, I think he will feel different if they are his own…..and besides you haven even told him! Tell him tonight and I promise it will be ok" Elliot stood up and gave Olivia a big hug before they both walked out of the interrogation room.
Olivia could feel eyes on her and she didn't know why then she realized 'oh yeh I've been crying like a baby my makeup is probably all messed up' Cragen stepped out of his office "Olivia! Whats wrong I thought you were sick and going home" Olivia just responded with "I am see you tomorrow" Olivia couldn't wait until tonight to tell Dean about the baby so se figured if Cragen let her go home she would.
8:30 am *Deans Apartment*
knock knock* "Who is it!?" Olivia heard just before the door flung open revealing a freshly showered Dean in only a towel. Olivia just stood there admiring his toned body before she was snapped back to reality with "LIV!!"
"Oh sorry hey whats up! can I come in?" Olivia said and Dean s response was to grab her by the waist and pull her in kissing her all over. Olivia momentarily forgot about all of her problems and was living in the moment. "Oh Dean" Olivia moaned as she stared unbuttoning her shirt and taking her belt off.
She couldn't get her clothes off fast enough which wasn't a surprise because for one Dean was a hunk and two their relationship mainly revolved around sex…great…passionate sex!
The next thing Olivia knew she was on the bed naked and pulling off Deans towel. They made love for 2 hours and they both were so tire they fell fast asleep.
Olivia awoke to *ring ring*
"Benson" she said reluctantly "Eliot?"
"Yeh its me liv I was just calling to see how Dean took your news, Cragen told me you went home early and I assumed it was because you wanted to tell Dean sooner than later." Elliot said genuinely concerned for his partner
"I haven't exactly told him yet…" Olivia said waiting for a lecture
"Ok well you better do it soon, you are going to need all the support you can get" Elliot said even surprised himself that he was so calm
"Thanks El I gotta go Deans waking up" "See you tomorrow, bye" Olivia hung up and laid back down cuddling into Deans bare chest. "Morning" Dean said "actually it's 8:00pm" Olivia said as Dean sat up quickly. "Oh" Dean said still groggy. Olivia didn't want to ruin this amazing moment they had just laying in bed but she forced herself to let it out "Dean…? I have to tell you something". Dean Looked at her and said "anything". That made this next part a little easier for Olivia. "Im Pregnant……" Olivia blurted out as fast as she could acting like that would make it better. "What! Are you going to keep it?" Dean said which put Olivia back 'How could he even ask that' she thought to herself as she said "Of course I am"
A solid 3 minutes went buy silent. "Well I didn't sign up for that Olivia. I think you should go now" Before Olivia could respond she was forced out of his apartment shoes and phone in hand and all she had on was a big Tee Shirt of Deans. Olivia started to sob as she put on the pants Dean threw out the door and she started to head out of the apartment crying when she realized it was raining. "Oh great" she choked out. Elliot's apartment was just 2 blocks from here and she was already wet from all the tears that she thought 'why not just walk in the rain'.
Olivia arrived at Elliot apartment still sobbing, she didn't want to bother him but she didn't know that to do because sh had no money to get home and Dean lived in Queens which is why Elliot lived so close, but that meant Olivia's upper east side of Manhattan apartment was too far away to walk.
On the other side of the door Elliot sat watching the Football game that was on tv that night. All the sudden he heard a sobbing girl and the sound was getting louder as if she was coming to his apartment. Elliot jumped up thinking it was Kathleen or Maureen but when he peaked his head out he saw Olivia.
"Olivia?" Elliot said shocked
Olivia couldn't say anything and she didn't have to. Elliot pulled her into the warmest hug she had ever received and they made their way into his tiny 1 bedroom apartment. No words were exchanged. They just sat on the couch and cuddled until a very wet Olivia fell asleep from crying so much. While she was sleeping Eliot was putting some dry clothes on Olivia and putting her into his bed when all the sudden he noticed her belly was starting to show. "Wow" Elliot said out loud which had woken Olivia.
"Sorry didn't mean to wake you" He said sadly
"El your fine" Olivia said as she fell back into a deep sleep
7:30 am *Elliot's apartment*
Olivia and Elliot were due to be at work in 30 minutes but Olivia was still sleeping so Elliot called Cragen, told him what happened and he understood and gave them the day off.
Olivia woke up and she had forgotten where she was and yelled "HELP!"
Elliot came rushing in "What whats wrong!"
"Oh sorry I sort of forgot where I was" Olivia said embarrassed
"Its fine, you scared me." Elliot said
The room became silent, Elliot started to walk out when he heard "wait."
Olivia was ready to tell Elliot what happened between her and Dean.
Olivia sat up and poured her heart out telling Elliot every gut wrenching, stomach turning detail about the fact that Olivia went to his house and they ended up having sex and she told him all about what Dean said when she told him about the baby. This whole story took a good 25 minutes to tell and after it was all dead Olivia felt even worse having to re-live everything she had just went through.
Elliot walked over to the bed and sat down next to Olivia and told her "everything is going to be ok Liv, you're not alone" this made Olivia feel a little bit better.
The next morning Olivia woke up in the loving arms of Elliot stabler her partner and friend. He had laid with her until she cried herself to sleep. Olivia slowly started trying to get out of bed without waking a sleeping Elliot but not to her surprise he woke up "Morning Liv" Elliot said in his raspy 'just woke up' voice. Elliot had barely gotten any sleep because he was up all night just watching Olivia sleep and making sure she was ok. Elliot got at least 2 hours of sleep but no more than 4 hours.
Olivia and Elliot got up out of bed, got ready for the day then headed out the door. Elliot hadn't let Olivia out of his sight in fear that she might break down again.
8:00 am *Precinct*
The only person that knew Olivia was pregnant was Elliot and Dean and so that meant she had to tell Cragen and the rest of her squad. The thought of telling people she was pregnant was exciting, but she wasn't sure if she was ready for all the questions about Dean.
As Elliot and Olivia were in the elevator heading up to the precinct Elliot had a hand around her waist, he could start to feel the slight bump she was getting, she didn't know how far along she was but Elliot would have guessed about 8 weeks. Elliot just kept telling Olivia "Its going to be fine don't stress out, its not a big deal everyones going to be happy for you liv" This made Olivia feel worse. On top of the already forming nausea and the constant feeling of wanting to throw up Olivia felt very dizzy she assumed it was because she was so nervous. But, as she stepped out of the elevator Elliot saw that she was swaying slightly and she went pale. Elliot quickly sprung into action grabbing he just before she fell.
Fin was sitting at his desk when he saw this all go down and then he heard Elliot yell "CAN I GET SOME HELP HERE" he quickly rushed over to Olivia and called for a bus "a bus is on its way Olivia hold on" Fin said as of she could hear him. Olivia lay unconscious on the hard floor of the hallway.
5 minutes passed and still no bus, but, Elliot noticed Olivia start to slowly come to.
"Ah….my head" Olivia said gripping himer forehead "what happened?" Olivia asked scaredy "you just passed out Liv" Fin told her "omg Elliot my….." 'baby' she stopped herself but Elliot knew what she was talking about, he didn't know if her baby was ok because the EMT's still weren't there.
"I know Liv" Elliot said as she began to cry. Fin sat in shock, was Olivia really that hurt? Did she break a bone? Did she hit her head? Then it hit him. Dean had come into the precinct earlier asking about Olivia when he let it slip that she was pregnant. "Im sure the baby is fine" Fin said as Olivia wiped away her tears and scrunched her face at him acting like she didn't know what he was talking about. "Liv I know, Dean told me on accident when he came here looking for you" Fin explained "What did he want?" Olivia asked hopeful that he wanted to fix what he had broken. Fin told he "He wanted his apartment key back…." This news made her cry harder. I was then that the ambulance arrived and wished Olivia away to the NewYork-Preysbertarian Hospital.
8:30 am *NewYork-Preysbertarian*
Elliot and the whole squad were anxiously waiting for news on Olivia
A doctor walked into the waiting room of the ER "Family of Olivia benson"
"Thats us" Elliot said as the whole squad stood up
"Dang big family Olivia is one lucky girl" the doctor said
"So she's ok?" Asked Elliot
"Yes she's going to be fine" and with the fact that the whole squad knew she was pregnant Elliot didn't hesitate to say "and the baby?"
"The baby is just fine, she passed out because she was severely dehydrated and it looked like she hasn't eaten in 2 days. "Shit" Elliot said quietly but loud enough for the doctor to hear. "Is there something I need to know" asked the doctor. Elliot rubbed a hand down his face and said "No Its just that with how preoccupied I was this morning I didn't make Olivia breakfast and she was so upset I didn't think she had eaten since Monday" Today was Thursday.
"Can I go see her" Elliot asked hopefully for a yes
"Yes you may but we have given her some light sedatives so she won't be awake for a few hours" said the doctor hesitantly
"What! Why would she need sedatives" asked Elliot fuming with rage. The doctor looked at Elliot and asked "Can we talk in private" Elliot hesitated but then agreed.
The doctor stood silent for a minute then spit out "Mrs.Benson had a panic attack and she was rambling on about someone named Dean and she kept saying 'stop hitting me' and 'Please stop' " so do you know who Dean is. Elliot didn't say a word accept to ask what room she was in and when the doctor said "room 2364" Elliot rushed to her room and just sat next to her bed holding her hand and he had every intention of staying until she woke up.
5 hours later*
Elliot was fast asleep with his head resting on Olivia's bed while he was sitting in her chair. Elliot suddenly felt her hand squeeze his and he shot up and watched Olivia slowly wake up. "El…." A groggy Olivia said "Where am I? What happened?….oh my gosh is my baby ok? Olivia started to panic. "Olivia your baby is healthy and the doctor did a sonogram and confirmed that I was right, you are 8 weeks pregnant" Olivia started to cry. "Woah Woah Woah" Elliot said confused "whats wrong". Little did he know "These are happy tears" Elliot sighed in relief. Olivia fell back asleep still groggy from the anesthesia with her hang resting ever so slightly over her belly as if she was protecting her unborn child.
Olivia woke up again and Elliot was in the room packing up her stuff.
"Hey Liv, how are you feeling?" Elliot asked
"I'm ok, what are you doing?" Olivia asked
"I'm packing up your stuff, they doctor said you could go home today" Elliot explained
"Thank god, I was starting to think I would never leave" Olivia said, it made Elliot chuckle and it felt so good to smile again
Olivia and Elliot got to leave the hospital at around 5:00 pm on Saturday. Olivia was so happy to leave the hospital and even more happy that her baby was still healthy and safe. They arrived at Olivia and Elliot made Olivia lay down and get some rest. Olivia was told she had to stay home for a week and then desk duty for another week then she could do her normal job until she was 7 months pregnant then she will go on desk duty until she gives birth.
5 months later*
Olivia was now 7 months pregnant, today was her last day before desk duty and she was glad her feet were swollen, her stomach had grown and her baby was now the size of an eggplant. She was thrilled she found out she was having a boy! Dean still hadn't contacted her and she didn't know if she felt sad or happy. Elliot had stepped up and was almost like a dad to her unborn child he moved in with her and he was going to all her doctors appointments.
It was a Monday morning Elliot had already been at work for a few hours. Elliot was scared to tell Olivia that Dean had come by and he was waiting up in the cribs to talk to her. He decided to eat until she came in to tell her and then Dean would come down to talk so they weren't alone.
Olivia walked into the precinct giggling "why are you so happy today?" Asked Elliot "ahahah the baby is kicking! Feel" said Olivia. Elliot reached out his hand and as soon as it toughed her belly he felt a kick. It was the most amazing feeling in the world. Elliot and Olivia stood there staring at each others eyes deeply and thats when Elliot heard "You bitch!" Coming from the loft section of the precinct where the cribs were. Elliot turned around and daw Dean running down the steps ready to attack his very pregnant partner. Thats when Elliot sprung into action and tried to stop him, thats when he saw the bomb attached to his chest.
BOOOMMM*
Elliot was blown to the other side of the precinct, Dean was dead, Olivia was blown up against a wall and Elliot heard how hard she hit the wall since she was closest to the bomb. Elliot stood up, all he could hear was ringing in his rears and he could feel blood dripping out of his ears. Thats when everything went black
Elliot woke up to screams. "OLIVIA" he knew it was olives screams. He finally got to his feet after what felt like for ever and he saw his pregnant partner lying against a wall with blood pouring from a would on her head and a wound of her shoulder. She couldn't move.
"HELP IT HURTS HELP ME" Olivia said. All she could think about was her baby so she was trying to be strong but it hurt too bad so she was screaming involuntarily. Next thing she knew she was out.
All of the sudden the screams stopped and Olivia was laying on the floor. Elliot passed out again but this time he woke up in the hospital.
In the room right next to his he could hear "AHHHH" "OMG ELLIOT! I WANT ELLIOT" he knew that it was Olivia and he had to help her so get got up and stumbled out into the room next to this and what he saw put him in shock. The doctors were holding Olivia down and setting her leg which meant snapping it back into place. It hurt worse than being stabbed and she knew that feeling all too well.
Olivia saw Elliot and held out her hand and called for him. He ran to her side stumping because he had just woken up but he was there for her and thats all she needed. He sat there with her hand in his and she squeezed it sooo tight he almost broke a finger. But it was all worth it to be there for her. The doctors checked her baby and it was going fine. She was going to be fine.
one week later*
Olivia still wasn't allowed to go home because she kept having breathing problems, they were caused by a blood clot in her lung and her constant panic attacks haven't been helping.
One night at 2 am Elliot and Olivia were sleeping peacefully in her hospital room when all of the sudden Olivia started having a nightmare about Dean and him killing her and her babies
"NO NO NO PLEASE DON'T HELP HELP HELP" Olivia was screaming at the top of her lungs and it woke Elliot up but by time Elliot asked across the room and reached Olivia she started coughing and she couldn't breath and this woke her from her horrible nightmare.
Olivia opened her eyes unaware why she was coughing but all she knew was that it hurt so bad and she was in excruciating pain in her chest and she couldn't breath. She muttered out wheezing "h-h-help……c-c-cant….b-b-breath" She said as stared at Elliot rushing towards her. "Oh my God Olivia! Breath baby breath its ok I'm here…..NURSE!" Elliot screamed running out of the room to find only one nurse on the entire floor since it was the middle of the night. He quickly told her whats wrong and she rushed to help Olivia. When they got back to the room they saw Olivia wasn't coughing anymore but her voice was horse and scratchy and she said "I couldn't breath and I don't know why but now my my my…….chest hurts so bad Elliot make it stop" she said pleading for the pain to go away. At this point she was now sobbing which made the pain worse.
"Ok Olivia?" The nurse said waiting for a response but Olivia could only nod since she was crying. "I can give you a sedative that will put you to sleep until we can get a doctor to do surgery or you can wait for the doctor with no meds, its up to you if you want to be put to sleep because it could take days to fix your lungs." Olivia thought for a minute and calmed down before telling her "I don't want to be put to sleep" then as soon as she said that Elliot said "are you sure liv? You look like you're in a lot of pain". She said "I am but I can get through it I don't want to take any chances especially with the baby". The nurse respected her wishes and gave her an aleve for the pain.
It was now 4:00 am, both Elliot and Olivia had fallen back asleep but Olivia woke up to another pain in her chest and this time it was so bad it caused her to run to the restroom and throw up. She assumed it was because she was pregnant but then she saw the blood.
Olivia passed out in the bathroom and Elliot woke up to find an unconscious Olivia in the bathroom. It only took the doctors 2 minutes to get to Olivia and they started wheeling her into surgery. "Why does she need surgery?" Elliot asked one of the doctors. "We need to get her up to OR 2 stat!" The doctor said to the nurse
3 Hours later*
Elliot had been waiting for Olivia to get out of surgery for 3 hours now but he was finally told that his partner was out and she was asking for him. Elliot bolted down to her room to see her crying. "Liv are you in pain?" Elliot asked "No I'm not but Elliot did I lose my baby?" Olivia asked with her wet eyes staring at Elliot. "Oh my god no Olivia the baby is fine you were going into labor but they were able to stop it" Elliot explained.
Olivia and Elliot laid in her hospital bed. Olivia was uncomfortable because she was all hooked up to wires and IV's but then all of the sudden Olivia felt Elliott hand rest on her belly and she instantly felt safe and fell asleep.
FLASH FORWARD 1 month*
8:00 am Precinct
Olivia last day in the hospital was today and she couldn't be more happy. She wasn't getting nightmares or panic attacks anymore, Elliot and Olivia were walking into Olivia's apartment and and Elliot asleep within minutes. Olivia didn't wake up until the next morning and she had to go to work.
Olivia and Elliot arrived ta work and before they went in they stood in the hall, "Come here" Elliot said waving to an empty interrogation room.
"What? I'm really ready to be back at work and I just" Olivia was stopped by the touch of Elliot lips on hers. She was confused for a minute 'why is he kissing me, why do I like it' she thought to herself as she realized that if felt strangely good.
Olivia deepened the kiss and wrapped her arms around his neck pulling as close as she could to him without smashing her baby.
"Mmmm" Olivia let out as the kiss began heating up.
There lips were starting to tingle and the want became the most obvious thing in the room. Elliot put his hand all over her butt and began to fit her, he lifted her onto the table and started kissing her neck and her chest and then back to her lips. Elliot did know why he waited so long to do something that felt so right.
Olivia started unbuttoning his shirt and rubbing her hands down his chest. Elliot did the same to her blouse but he also undid her bra and started moving his hands from her face to her neck and all the way down her back.
They both just wanted to pounce on each other when they realized they were at work and they were now late. "Elliot…..we……have…..to……stop" Olivia said in-between kisses.
They both pulled their lips apart and they kissed one last time before fixing their clothes and walking out of the room. They were glad no one saw them.
Olivia walked into the precinct with Elliot holding her hand. They both realized what they were doing and pulled their hands apart. No one could know about their love for each other. The second she walked in she was given a case but they already had the suspect in custody so cragen said "He's in interrogation room 2, I wanted to wait for my best detectives for this guy, he's really something" Olivia didn't know what he meant by that, but Elliot and Olivia went into the interrogation room and instantly saw what cragen meant.
In front of her sat a 38 year old man named Ethan, Ethan was 6 foot 3 inches tall and covered in tattoos and extremely strong looking. But what really got to Olivia was his eyes, those eyes of his were as cold as the devil himself. He looks psychotic and she assumed he probably was.
Olivia and Elliot interrogated Ethan for over 3 hours they realized he wasn't going to budge.
"Can I have some water?" Ethan asked with a smirk on his face.
Olivia felt weird about this guy because he kept looking at her belly and it made her feel uncomfortable and Elliot could sense that. He hated seeing liv harassed by some lowlife, especially because she was a woman and so he felt like they just saw her as meat.
"Detective Benson why don't you go get him some water" Elliot said hoping this was Olivia's chance to step out and breath for a moment
"Why don't you go, I just have a few more questions for Ethan" Olivia said, this put a shock on Elliot's face but he said "ok" and left. It was now just Olivia and Ethan.
"So I guess you wanted to be alone with me" Ethan said as he winked at Olivia. Olivia was planning on playing along and making him feel wanted by her and maybe he would let a confession slip.
She thought she was finally getting to him because he was starting to tell her hypothetical details of things he could do to women. One comment tho made Olivia freeze "Like take you for example….Ohhhhh…..if I just had 10 minutes alone with you, you would be a whole new woman. I would tie you up by you hands and feet and I would slowly rip your clothes off taking my time, Then I would rape you over and over and over…….hypothetically speaking"
Olivia was so shocked and frozen that she didn't hear him say "Actually, we are all aloe right now, I guess it doesn't have to be hypothetical anymore" because the next thing she know he was lunging at her! Ethan had somehow squeezed out of his cuffs and he was lunging over the table. He knocked Olivia back and her first reaction was to grab her belly to protect her baby, that caused him to be able to grab ahold of her neck and push her against the wall. He started squeezing the life out of her. "Help" she whimpered, she didn't think she was loud enough but then he started to unbuckle his pants and no one came, that when she realize she was really in trouble "Does no one hear me, am I about to get raped in a police station with dozens of cops" she thought to herself. She started to get light headed and feel dizzy when Finn burst in pulling him off of a screaming and crying Olivia and slammed his head against a wall. Once Finn had cuffed Ethan and threw him to a fellow officer Finn ran over to Olivia. "Oh my gosh Olivia! Are you ok?" He asked so scared for her. Olivia sobs filled the room and she started gripping her belly to make sure her baby was ok but Finn thought that meant her belly was in pain. Before Olivia could explain she was fine and she was just holding her belly for comfort Finn yelled "We need a bus now!"
Elliot came back with the water and saw that people were crowded around interrogation room 2, he froze as he saw Olivia being carried out of there by Finn. "What happened! Olivia are you ok" Elliot asked oblivious to the attack, but Olivia couldn't hear him she was so dizzy and so disoriented from the lack of oxygen.
"Are you ok Olivia!" Finn asked
"Im really…..Fine….just…..need…..air…." Olivia said gasping for air
Olivia started to stand up when she felt a sharp pain rip through her abdomen and she bagged to feel dizzy all over again and the next thing she knew was that she was clenching the edge of the table in the interrogation room screaming and crying
"Ahhhhhhhh……somethings……..Ahhhhhhhh…….wrong…….where is Elliot" Olivia screamed at the top of her lungs clenching her fist over her belly.
Finn stood confused as he sat her down into a chair in Cragen's office "Whats wrong Olivia is the baby ok" Finn said as Elliot pushed him out of the way and grabbed Olivia and helped her sit.
"NO somethings wrong I think the lack of oxygen from Ethan choking me or me falling to the ground and being slammed against the wall might have hurt the……..ahhhhhh and I might be going into………ahhhhhh " Olivia was interrupted by a contraction, yep she was going into labor.
"Ethan attacked you?!" Elliot asked with rage in his eyes.
"Yes he choked me and he was going to rape me" Olivia said as she started to cry from the pain and the trauma she had just went through.
Olivia was now curled into a ball on the floor not allowing anyone to touch her. She kept getting immense pains in her belly and she was terrified that the baby was gone.
"We need that bus now!" Elliot screamed down the hall to anyone that would listen
"The paramedics are 5 minutes out" Cragen said as he entered the room.
Cragen's voice made her jump, it sounded just like Ethan and it brought the memory of the attack to her mind and that made her start shaking.
Elliot saw he shaking and he went over to comfort her "Liv its ok, I'm so sorry for leaving you" Elliot confessed.
Elliot was the first person that she let tough her and it made her feel better even though everyone in the room h=could hear Olivia screaming "Ahhhhh" every couple of minutes or so, she still looked like it made her feel better.
The paramedics arrived and Olivia started to wig out, she started screaming and crying and no one knew if it was the pain or ptsd talking but the next thing she knew she was being injected with something and she went right to sleep.
12:00 am Hospital
Olivia woke up to the feeling of Emptiness, she opened her eyes and reached for her swollen belly to be startles by the fact that her belly was no longer huge. She started to panic and her heart rate went through the room 'Oh my gosh did I lose my baby, please God no please' Olivia said to herself. She could hear all this beeping and then she saw Elliot standing over her.
"Liv its ok you're ok, You're in the hospital everything is fine" Elliot said
"El? Olivia asked because her vision was blurry and she was disoreanted
"Yeh liv its me" Elliot said with a smile on his face. Olivia noticed he was holding something and when she blinked a few times she saw that it was a baby!
"Elliot is that……" Olivia started to say but the ext thing hat came from her mouth was sobs
"Liv honey its ok its ok, Yes this is your son!" Elliot said
"But why does he look so big?" Olivia asked and she could tell Elliot was afraid to answer "EL! What?"
"Why don't you say hello to your son and and we will talk about this in a little while…..Mamma" Elliot said smiling at her
'Mamma' Olivia thought to herself as she grew one of the biggest smiles on her face and she took hold of her new son
A few hours passed and Olivia had had some time with her baby and she was ready to talk like Elliot had promised
Olivia sat her baby boy into his basinet that the hospital had provided and she sat up. Elliot was sleeping in the chair in her room when he woke up to the sound of Olivia wincing in pain trying to sit up. "Hey Hey Hey little lady don't try to sit up let me help" Elliot said as he helped her. "Great you're awake now can we talk?" Olivia asked "Why does my son look like he's a month old?" Olivia asked not having the siltiest clue what the answer to that was
Elliot paused for a moment and then he started "Ok Liv I'm going to tell you something but you have to promise not to have a heart attack or pass out or do anything bad ok because I just got you back and I'm not losing you again" Olivia listened but then she interrupted "wait how long have I been out, what do u mean you just got me back, Was I out for more than a few hours?"
"Thats what I wanted to tell you, and thats the answer to your question" Elliot said recognizing hat Olivia didn't understand but he kept going anyways "Ok so when they bought you into the hospital they had to perform emergency surgery because you had a brain bleed from the attack, During surgery the doctor slipped and it put you into a coma. You were in a coma when you got out of surgery an the doctors told up they didn't know when you would wake up but the drug they would use to do so would hurt the baby and since the baby made it through surgery fine they decided to wait till the baby was at least 40 weeks and then they were to do a c-secton. Since you were only 33 weeks pregnant that would mean you would be in a coma for 7 weeks and the doctor explained that being in a coma for that long could cause some damage but since I was your next of kin I was the decision maker and I decided to risk it because I remember you saying the last time you were in the hospital that I need to think of the baby first so I did. So…." Elliot continued. He saw liv start to tear up when she said "So I've been in a coma for 7 weeks?" Olivia suddenly had her head in her hands "No Olivia, let me explain, So…. We waited 7 weeks and I was up here every night just in case you miraculously woke up, You never did and the 40 week mark rolled around and they delivered baby" Elliot was interrupted by "August, Baby August" Olivia said holding back her tears "August" Elliot said "So August was born and they decided it was time to give you the injection to wake you up, only the injection takes 5 weeks to work so while you were here I was at your house with August. I read him stories every night like you told me you wanted to do and I showed him your picture and brought him to see you any time I could." "So Liv, You have been in a coma for 12 weeks and August is a month old tomorrow"
All of the sudden Elliot saw Olivia start to cry. "Liv please don't cry" Elliot said when all of the sudden Elliot was pulled into one of the deepest kissed of his life. Olivia graded ahold of he's fact and they locked lips like they did when she came back to work.
The kiss deepened and Elliot liked it. They had to stop when Olivia quietly said "Ouch" and pulled away. Her stitched were still raw since the didn't heal very good when she was in a coma, she wasn't awake so it was hard to keep her oxygen levels high and that caused an infection so he was pretty sore.
After they pulled apart, Elliot laid next to Olivia in her hospital bed in a spooning position. Olivia calmed down and went to sleep thinking about her new precious baby boy August.
11 months later*
"Happy Birthday August!" Olivia said reaching into the big boys crib.
August was finally one years old today. Olivia couldn't be happier with her life right now. After the attack and staying in the hospital for 3 months August and Elliot took Olivia home. They started their great life together. About a Month later Elliot asked Olivia to be his official girlfriend. Olivia was ecstatic, I mean they had been having sex almost every night since they couldn't keep off each other so Olivia kind of already assumed they were together as a couple but that made it official. They told the squad about them and they all already knew, the captain said their relationship would be fine as long as it doesn't impact the job. About 2 months after that Elliot Proposed and Olivia said yes. Everyone was happy for them. They were so happy together and they were raising August as if Elliot were his dad so it only made sense. 5 months after that they got married. August was in the wedding being carried down the aisle by the maid of honor. It was they happiest day of their lives. They took a Week long honeymoon in The Bahamas where they made love to each other every night. They loved each other with suck passion they couldn't help it. They did so many fun things since they didn't have the baby to worry about. Elliot's mom was now on medication and so she was watching August and they trusted her. They got back from There lovely honeymoon and to be honest they were excited to go home just to see August and Olivia hadn't been feeling well, she had been getting sick so they thought it was definitely time to go home. They bought a house and moved in during the next 3 weeks. 3 weeks flew by and it was now August's birthday. Olivia was still feeling sick most mornings so Elliot woke up early to get August fed and changed before bringing him into his mamma.
"Liv" Elliot whispered into her ear after kissing her on the cheek.
Olivia stirred in her sleep and then felt that overwhelming sensation of nausea she had been getting every morning that she had known too well, only this time it was worse.
Olivia jumped out of bed and ran into the bathroom and started to throw up. Elliot put August down in his playpen and went into the bathroom to comfort his wife. When Elliot walked into their bathroom he saw Olivia clenching her stomach throwing up, she was hunched over the toilet when Elliot knelt down beside her and started to pull her hair up and he got her a wet washcloth for the back of her neck. Olivia sat up after throwing up 5 times and she leaned against the bathroom wall and that when Elliot saw that all the color has flushed from her face. Olivia started balling and so Elliot thought she was in pain. "Liv honey whats wrong are you in pain? I'll call an ambulance" Elliot said. Elliot stared to stand up to call 911 when Olivia grabbed his arm and pulled him back to the ground "No I'm ok I'm not in pain,I'm crying because its our sons birthday and I have the flu, that means I can't be around him today" she said letting out a huge sob. "Oh liv its ok we can celebrate his birthday if a few days when you feel better" Elliot said trying to make Olivia feel better.
About an hour later Olivia was feeling 100% fine. She had made a doctors appointment for 12:00 pm and it was now 11:30 am so she had to get going. She was walking out the door when she blew Elliot and August kisses and said "Goodbye be back in about an hour". Elliot replied with a simple "Okay Love you" "love you too" Olivia replied and she was out the door.
Olivia hailed a cab "Doctor Rhodes office on 85th street please" Olivia said to the cab driver and he drove off. It took them about 20 minutes to get there. When Olivia walked into the doctors office they took her back right away and got her in a gown. She talked to doctor Rhodes for a minute and she ran some tests including blood work a urine sample and a strep test. Olivia wanted to be thorough since she had a baby at home to worry about getting sick.
Olivia left the office and headed home since the tests would take a while to be processed.
Olivia arrived at home at about 1:15 pm
"Hey Liv how was the doctors? You look like you're already feeling better" Elliot said. He had noticed that she wasn't sluggish and the color had flooded back to her face.
"Yeh idk maybe I just ate something last night cause I feel fine now, but just to be safe for August I got a bunch of tests done and they are gonna call me when…" Olivia was interrupted by a *Ring Ring* " Oh maybe thats them, huh that was fast" Olivia said clicking 'accept call' on her phone.
Olivia stepped into the kitchen even though she could still see Elliot and August in the living room playing legos. She just felt for some reason that she had to stay away from them.
"Mrs.Benson?" The caller said
"Yes this is she?" Olivia reliped
"This is Becky from Dr.Rhodes office, I'm calling about your test results." Said the woman
"Wow are they back that fast" Olivia said
"Thats because we tested the urine first and we found out what the problem was so we didn't bother testing the others yet, I mean we will test them but I'm pretty sure we know what caused that episode you had this morning" Said the Nurse
"Oh ok is it bad whats wrong with me?" Olivia said slightly concerned. It caught Elliot attention because he walked over and sat on the island in the kitchen mouthing "Whats wrong?" To her and she shushed him with her finger "Sorry what was that I didn't hear you my husband is interrupting haha" she said playfully.
"You're pregnant" The nurse said back
Olivia froze, dropped the phone and began curl up in a ball and cry on the kitchen floor.
Elliot jumped up and went around the island very fast and Sia d"Liv whats wrong is it bad?"
"No Elliot its not bad, at least for me its not" Olivia said sobbing, that put a smirk or confusion on Elliot's face
"What are you talking about liv?" Elliot said still very concerned that his wife was dying or something.
"Im………Pregnant" Olivia spat out.
"Oh my gosh Olivia this is great!" Elliot said "Why would that ever be a bad thing"
"I didn't know how you would feel about it" Olivia said quickly realizing she never hung up with the nurse.
Picking up the phone Olivia said "Hello Hello are you still there"
"Yes I'm still here" the nurse said "would you like to schedule an appointment"
"Yes I would how about Friday?" Olivia asked
"Yep we have an opening for Friday at 9:00 am" Said the nurse.
"Ok see you then thx bye" Olivia said.
Olivia got up from the floor and hugged Elliot and then she went over and picked up August and just stared at him. "You're going to have a baby sister or brother soon" Olivia whispered to her baby. Elliot came over to the both of them and have Olivia a long passionate kiss before taking August to bed and "celebrating".
Elliot exited August's room and grabbed Olivia from behind slowly kissing her neck, she continued up to her ear nibbling on it slightly. Olivia turned around and wrapped her arms around his head and pulled them into a kiss. That slowly escalated until they were both naked in bed, they went at it for an hour! They were just so happy they could have gone all night but they had work the next day.
Olivia woke up in one of Elliot's tee-shirts and she rolled over to cuddle with Elliot. Elliot gave her a kiss on the lips after she wrapped her body around his. Her face was now folded onto his chest and he was laying flat on his back. They lay like that until they realized they had to get August to daycare and they had to get to work.
Olivia went to get August ready and Elliot went to get dressed himself. Once August was ready Olivia got ready while Elliot fed August out in the kitchen.
They headed off to work and they were out the door by 6:00 am. Olivia wanted to get to work early since she had a 9:00 am doctors appointment.
They arrived at the precinct at 6:45 am after dropping August at 'Little Tots Daycare'
Olivia went to let Cragen know about her doctors appointment while Elliot made them some coffee.
Knock Knock* "Come in" Cragen said
"Hey Liv whats up?" He asked
"Im just letting you know that I have a doctors appointment at 9:00 am today so I'm going to have to leave around 8:30 am, ill be back after though" She said hoping he won't ask what its for
"Ok sounds ok with me" He said
whew* Olivia thought as she walked out of cranes office. "What did Cragen say?" Elliot asked Olivia
"Nothing he just said ok" Olivia said
"Wow, how did you get so lucky" Elliot said smiling. If he asked to go to the doctor there would be a whole discussion about why he needs to go with details.
"Guess we're just lucky detective stabler" Olivia said biting her lip and walking out of the center of the precinct and into an empty interrogation room. She was pretty much inviting Elliot to follow her. Elliot got the message and he followed her into Interrogation room four. As they walked in Elliot grabbed Olivia waist and spun her around to kiss her, this wasn't a good idea, next thing you know she's running out and into the bathroom.
"What did you do Stabler" Munch asked after he saw Olivia storm out and then Elliot walk out right after
"I didn't do anything" Elliot said "she's not feeling well"
"Well she looked upset to me" Munch said "I mean she was holding her mouth like she was trying not to cry and then I mean the biggest giveaway was the crying I heard after she went into the bathroom I mean come on stabler I'm not dumb" Munch said. This made Elliot wonder why she was crying he thought she had just gotten sick.
"What!! She was crying?" Elliot asked loudly
"Uh yeh I mean come on stabler don't act dumb" Munch said as he walked back to his desk
Elliot ran into the woman bathroom, he didn't care it was the women's, he needed to talk to Olivia.
"Liv? Are you okay" Elliot said very quietly as he eked his head in
"Yeh I'm……..(blah) okay just some morning sickness I'll be fine" Olivia said as she threw up again
"Ok well munch said he heard you crying?" Elliot asked as he walked into Olivia's stall and pulled her hair back.
"I was" she said matter of factly
"What! Why sweetie" Elliot asked feeling helpless, he couldn't even help his wife feel better
"I mean I couldn't just throw up in here I mean we are in a building full of detectives they would figure out that I was pregnant! So I just pretended to be crying so that it looked like I was upset" Olivia said not thinking about the fact that the whole squad blamed Elliot for it.
"Oh well I mean now they all blame me….what do I tell them?" He asked
"I mean just say that I overreacted to a case or something" she said
"Ok then well are you ok in here I probably shouldn't be in here" Elliot asked
"Yeh I'm fine El thank you Love you, I'll probably miss you before I go to the doctor so see you at like 11" Olivia said blowing him a kiss
Doctor Rhodes Office 8:50 am*
Olivia walked into Dr.Rhodes office without Elliot, Elliot wanted to go because it was her first appointment but the squad would become suspicious so he stayed at work.
"Hi Olivia, How are you today" Dr.Rhodes said
"Im ok, Ive been having a lot of morning sickness and I've been a little dizzy but other than that I'm fine" Olivia said
"Ok Olivia well that is all very normal and I'm sorry I can't do much for your morning sickness" the doctor said "Ok Olivia well lie back and why don't we take a look at this baby"
Olivia lied back on the table and the doctor pulled out the internal ultrasound. Then she put it in Olivia and started looking for the baby heartbeat.
"Ok Olivia when is it that you said you would have gotten pregnant?" The doctor asked
"Ummm it would have been my Honeymoon so about 3 or 4 weeks ago" Olivia said
The doctor took out the ultra sound machine and then started with "Ok Olivia I'm so sorry to tell you this but I think your pregnancy test was a false positive I'm so sorry Olivia. Sometimes you can get a false positive when you do the test while ovulating and since we haven't done the blood test yet we didn't know it was false" The doctor explained
Olivia held back her tears and she just sat up and said "Thanks doctor can I go now?"
The doctor looked at Olivia she was so sad for her but she told her she could leave but she wanted to see her in a week to make sure everything is ok.
Olivia walked out of the doctors office. She felt like she was in a trance. She hailed a cab "SVU Precinct please" Olivia told the cab driver. She quickly arrived at the precinct and she just stood there staring at the front doors for a while. When she finally went in she was just numb. Olivia walked into the front doors and it instantly made her start to sob she started thinking of Elliot and how she wanted to just hug him for ever and cry.
Elliot was just sitting at his desk doing paperwork when he heard crying, he looked around and he saw that everyone else could hear it too, it was getting louder and louder and everyone stood up and stared when they saw Olivia sobbing staring down at her feet "el?" Olivia said almost too quiet to hear.
Elliot jumped up and grabbed each of olives shoulders and tried to tilt his head to see her face but she was just sobbing looking down and so he just took her in his arms and her sobs got louder "I'm sorry" she said. Everyone looked at her in confusion and Elliot looked back at them while he was hugging Olivia. "Liv come on" Elliot said walking her into Cragen's office.
"Captain can we have your office to talk" Elliot said looking at the captain with desperate eyes.
"Of course take as much time as you need" Cragen said as he walked out and shut the door.
Everyone could see through the blinds so they saw all of this unfold
"Liv please tell me whats wrong is it the baby" Elliot asked
"What baby" Olivia said "I was never pregnant"
"What!" Elliot said loud enough for the squad room to hear.
Olivia just shook hear head and explained the whole thing and Elliot just hugged her tight. For a good 10 minutes they just stood there hugging and he was kissing the top of her head. She slowly stopped crying thats when they started to walk out of his office. The squad couldn't help but stare, they just wanted to know what was going on but they didn't want to ask. Elliot saw the confusion on their faces and he just mouthed the words 'She will be ok, Im taking her home I'll call you'. Elliot and Olivia got down to the car and Elliot helped Olivia in the car and he didn't expect to do anything but ride in silence holding her hand but he surprised her when she asked to go pick up August from daycare early. "Sure" Elliot said. They went and picked him up and Olivia got into the back of the car and she put him in his car seat and she fell asleep with her head of her baby boys lap and he fell asleep resting his head on hers.
Elliot had to wake both of them up to get them in the house. A puffy eyed Olivia woke up first and she carried August into the house and set hi on her bed and both of them fell asleep again for a few hours just cuddling on the bed. Meanwhile, Elliot cleaned the house and made calls to everyone at the squad simply saying Olivia got some news that she was very excited about and it fell through.
Four hours later they both emerged from the bedroom. Olivia was carrying little August and he had his head resting on her shoulder. It was almost as if he knew she needed comfort. He never acted that way. "Hey honey how are you feeling?" Elliot asked Olivia. "Im fine I mean I don't know why it made me so upset its not like we lost our baby, I just never had one" Olivia said as tears filled up in her eyes. She kept back the tears but Elliot could see how much she was hurting. So they all just cuddled on the couch and had a peaceful night at home
Flash forward 6 months*
It had been six months since Olivia heart was broken, six months since she lost all hope but it had also been six months since her and Elliot relationship had grown stronger. The baby made them closer. Sometimes something like that can tear couples apart but not them. They just tried even harder for a kid after that and they were loving every minute of it.
It was a Monday morning and Elliot and Olivia were walking into work giggling. No one knew what they were laughing about but they loved to see them happy again. A week after olives big crying spree she told the whole squad what really happened and they gave her so much love after that it made her so happy.
Elliot and Olivia were giggling because all weekend they had been trying for a baby….ALL WEEKEND…..August was at his grandparents and it was just the two of them and so they had passionate sex all weekend. They were whispering in each others ears as they walked into the precinct thats why they were laughing like school girls. Over the weekend they had racked up a lot of inside dirty jokes and they were loving it.
Elliot whispered something into Olivia's ear and she laughed and lightly slapped his arm "Stabler you better watch yourself" She said with a grin on her face.
"Glad to see you guys had a fun weekend" Finn said as he winked
"Yeh you two look like you could pounce on each other right here right now" Munch said which made them all get slightly grossed out "Well its true" he said.
"Elliot Olivia we got a rape victim 14, attacked on 84th and Broadway. You two go to the crime scene and Munch and Finn will take her statement." Cragen said yelling from his office
Flash forward to Monday night*
Liv had a hard time with this case. It was a young girl, I mean they caught her rapist but she ended up killing herself because she felt used and dirty. Olivia felt like she could have done more.
Olivia was sat at her desk looking very upset
"Liv? Are you ok" Elliot asked. Elliot hadn't been there for most of the case because he got called away for a temporary undercover for the day.
"No, remember the 14 year old girl? Yeh she's dead" Olivia said sobbing.
"I'm so sorry Liv" Elliot said hugging her.
Elliot pulled her face to his and gave her a kiss and said "Lets get you home and you can get some rest ok?"
Olivia nodded. She needed rest and she wanted to go home to see August.
The next morning Olivia woke up feeling much better, She rolled over on top of Elliot and laid her head on his chest, they sat like that for a good 15 minutes. Then she thought it was time that she got ready for the day, so she slowly got up trying not to wake Elliot. She got ready and then went into August's room, changed and fed him and then they both went out in the living room to watch TV when Olivia suddenly felt a wave of nausea that she knew too well. She jumped up off the couch with the baby in her hands and she sat him on her bed with Elliot and she ran into the bathroom and threw up.
Elliot woke up to a baby being placed on his bed and his wife running into the bathroom. "Liv? Are you ok?" Elliot asked.
A few seconds later Olivia walked out and just said "Im Pregnant"
"What? When? When were you going to tell me" He asked
"I mean I don't know for sure but come on Elliot, I'm 4 days late and I just threw up" She said
Olivia and Elliot went out and bought 4 different pregnancy tests just to be sure. When they got back to the apartment and they took all 4 and there suspicions were right. Olivia was pregnant.
35 weeks later*
Olivia was now 36 weeks pregnant and she couldn't be happier because this time she really was pregnant. The whole squad was happy for her and Elliot was even more excited that she was. Mainly because its hard for her to be excited about something that caused her so much agony and pain. This pregnancy wasn't easy, Olivia had constant back pain, she constantly had Braxton hicks contractions, yet she still worked every day 6:00 am - 6:00 pm unless she worked overtime which was almost every day.
This morning Olivia woke up and she felt like today was going to be horrible. Her back hurt and her feet hurt and she was still having Braxton hicks which weren't anything like real contractions so they weren't that bad but she still felt so uncomfortable.
Olivia and Elliot walked into the precinct and Olivia sat down and started work while Elliot went into Cragen's office to try to get him to get Olivia to just go home. Elliot knew she wasn't feeling well but nothing was going to stop her from working.
"Olivia, in here now" Cragen said.
Olivia looked up and saw Elliot walking into his office too. 'Huh' she thought to herself. She got up from her chair and went into the captains office.
"Look if you're going to tell me to go home, my answer is no" She said before letting either mad speak.
"Thats not why I called you in here" Cragen said "I called both of you in here because I've got a perp in interrogation one"
"Ok cap I'll go" Elliot said "I mean Olivia can't sooo why is she here?" Elliot said
"Heres the thing…..he said he would confess if he could confess to Olivia" Cragen said hesitantly
Olivia eyes widened, "What!? Why me?" Olivia said "I mean I'm sorry but she can't captain I mean what if something happens. She has to think about the baby" Elliot said. This made Olivia look down at her belly and rub it up and down, then she looked back to Cragen "will it be safe?" She asked. "Yes we will be watching the hole time" said the captain
"Ok then lets do it" Olivia said
"Woah Woah Woah hold up, you are not putting yourself and our baby at risk, its too dangerous NO" Elliot said and he instantly regretted it because Olivia shot a look at him "This isn't your decision Elliot I'm doing it" Olivia said. "If we can get a confession I have to do it"
Elliot finally agreed and they started to walk to the interrogation room. Olivia took a deep breath and gave Elliot a kiss reassuring him before she went in.
"Oooooliviaaaa" The perp said looking up and down her body "you even look hot when you're pregnant" He said. That sent chills down her spine.
"Ok I'm here aren't I" She said as she sat down wincing because her back hurt.
"Ohhh sounds like pregnancy isn't treating you very good" he said
"Look I'm here to get your confession and leave, not talk about me" Olivia shot up at him
"Well ok then I guess it's time we have some alone time" the perp said as he stood up and tackled Olivia to the ground.
