s saddening as it was to be the last living proud Scot of his bloodline, besides his great ancestor Belenus, it did have its convenient benefits.

Such as the fact that he had full access to his families wealth. As such, purchasing a plane ticket to Japan was not at all an issue.

He sadly did not have access to a little smarmy prick with a Longinus that could teleport him practically anywhere in the world now, nor did he have a handy dandy teleportation circle like any devil heir.

Honestly, say what you will about devils, but their magic system really was so handy. And it would be his soon.

'Not to mention, I'll be able to get access to the familiar forest as well! Yarden mentally pumped a fist in victory as he walked down the streets of Kuoh. Once there, he'd be able to get his hands on some Unicorns!

He could even get multiple to live on his property!

'I seriously do not understand your fascination with Unicorns. They are merely pretty horses with horns,' Vritra huffed, 'Admittedly, their blood make for good healing agents and their horns are very sturdy and pack a decent amount of power in them, but beyond that, they aren't very special.'

Huh, so Unicorns were even more amazing than Yarden had first assumed. As expected of the patron animal of Scotland!

'There is a limit to patriotism you know,' he could hear the eye roll in Vritra's voice, before pausing for a moment and adding, '...Then again, I am speaking to the fusion of two Scottish teenagers, one called from another reality by the sheer patriotic belief in Scotland the other had.'

'The power of Scotland cannot be stopped,' the Scottish teen nodded proudly, 'In fact, since you share my soul, which is Scottish twice over by the way, you may consider yourself the Scottish Patron Dragon now.'

'I'm a dragon from the Hindu mythology, the strongest mythology,' Vritra replied, 'The strongest god in the Hindu pantheon is Shiva, the most powerful being in creation behind only great Red and Ophis themselves.'

'Not for long,' Yarden snorted, 'The Scottish Pantheon with the future Divine Demon Dragon of Scotland will kick them from their pedestal.'

'There...there isn't a Scottish pa-' Vritra spluttered before sighing in defeat, 'You know what? Sure, you can consider me a Scottish dragon from now on then, I don't care, it's easier than trying to argue specifics with a fool like you.'

As Yarden found himself coming to a stop in front of Kuoh Academy, a wide smirk found its way onto his face. Even a Dragon King could not refuse the power of Scotland.

As it was nearing dusk and the sun hung low in the sky, the former co-ed High School was more or less completely empty.

Except for the mass of devil auras he could feel within the large property. 'I was expecting more actually.' he mused. In total, he could sense nine of them. Seven of which that were grouped together.

The Khaos Brigade was made up of species from all manners of lives and pantheons, that included devils. And while he hadn't been a part of them long, he had been around devils enough to get a feel for their auras, and as a true blue powerful Scotsman, it was a simple matter for him to sense the magical auras of others.

'Hey now that I think about it, can you turn blue and white?' he asked the dragon within his soul. Now, the black and purple was pretty cool and badass, but it just wasn't very Scottish, y'know?

'I cannot, and even if I could, I would not,' Vritra growled, 'Would you dye your hair blue and paint a white cross on it?'

Yarden blinked, confused, 'But I do that all the time when Scotland play football!'

The dragon king sighed in annoyance, but did not respond.

It may have been silly of him to stop and have such a conversation right outside the gates. But, he was just being polite and all. This was basically their base. You didn't just barge into someone's base and swing around your cock, even if he did have a huge Scottish one that would no doubt leave the likes of Issei Hyoudou and that Saji whatever fellow gasping in awe and staring in utter envy.

They were Japanese males after all. They could never match up to a Scotsman. Never mind a pinnacle Scottish lad like himself.

That was probably why Cao Cao was such a little bitch and compensated with such a big ass spear. He had a tiny little Asian boy baby penis.

But yeah, there was a reason why he was waiting at the gates. And he didn't have to wait long.

After all, no devil wouldn't be able to sense the beastly Scottish holy sword hidden within the guitar case hanging over his shoulder. They probably sensed it the moment he entered the city.

After all, Grian was on a whole other level than the broken scrap that was the Excalibur pieces.

Two of the devil auras broke off from the others within a moment of him arriving at the school gates and quickly made their way to him.

Within a minute, he saw two figures exit the academy building and begin making their way over to him. From what he felt, at least aura wise, they were the third and fourth strongest of the aura's gathered within the premises.

One, a cute and short. slender dark haired girl. The other, a decently tall girl with long dark hair, though unlike her companion she had a much more voluptuous figure.

Oh, and both wore glasses.

'Sona Sitri and her Queen, whatever her name was.' he mused. To be honest, he didn't really care much for Sona's Peerage, they didn't really interest him.

Well, except for the bodacious white haired girl. Momo was her name if he recalled?

Well either way, he wasn't really impressed. Sona Sitri's magic power, was lower than his own. As was her queen. And the other two above them he felt back in the academy, whom he assumed to be Rias Gremory and Akeno Himejima.

Amusingly, the only one approaching his magic strength was Akeno. Then again, they were just mere devils, a reincarnated devil and a reincarnated half breed fallen angel.

It may have been thin. But he had the blood of a Scottish god in his veins! And it wasn't like he really focused fully on his magic power as his way of combat. Yet he knew all of them, besides Sona Sitri's queen did, 'They should train more.' Yarden mused inwardly.

"Greetings," Sona Sitri dipped her head politely and greeted him as she came to a stop just in front of him, her queen falling in line behind her, tense and alert, eyes focused on the Scottish teen, "May I ask what brings another member of the church here? And why you were not with the representatives that came to meet me earlier?" she asked, a small frown appearing on her lips and he caught sight of the fingers on her hands twitching for a split moment before she hid them behind her back out of view.

That alone told him quite a lot. Or, he thought at least. It wasn't like Yarden saw much of the series. But, he only remembered two church representatives coming to meet with Sona Sitri, and then a day later Rias Gremory. Xenovia and Irina, the Holy Sword wielders sent to retrieve the Excalibur fragments stolen by Kokabiel.

Interesting.

'She must think I'm with them because of Grian,' he thought before smiling at her, "I'm not with the church love, or part of their faction or anything like that, so no need to be so tense," he replied, "My name is Yarden Caelan Odhar Wallace, descendant of the mightiest hero in all of history, William Wallace, son of the Sun God Belenus and I'm here to see about being reincarnated as a devil."

Sona's violet eyes went wide behind her glasses, unable to contain her shock, and her queen fared no better.

"E-excuse me?" she spluttered before coughing and regaining her cool, "Can you repeat that please? You said you're a hero descendant with the blood of a god in your veins, is that right?"

He'd give her this, she was pretty good at reigning in her emotions, "Amongst other things," Yarden crossed his arms and nodded, "I also have two sacred gears, Delete Field and Blaze Black Flare, of which I have unlocked the Balance Breaker of." he added, laying most of it on the table.

He had to make himself look more appealing after all. It wasn't Sona or Rias he was really here to meet, not entirely at least. He just needed them to put him into contact with who he really wanted to meet.

Honestly, the fact he was Scottish and wanting to join up should have been enough. But, the other races of the world were truly ignorant and he as a compassionate Scottish lad did not judge them for their short comings.

At least not fully.

She coughed again, "T-two?" the Sitri heiress stuttered, shock once again breaking her cool facade before she managed to reign it in, "And you are here, I assume then to seek out either myself or Rias to reincarnate you as a devil?"

Yarden scoffed, "Fuck no," he laughed and only laughed harder as she gaped at him for his abrupt refusal, "No offense sweetheart, but I doubt either you or Rias Gremory have the strength needed to reincarnate me with your lack of pieces, and even if you did, I'm not interested in being anyone's lackey, especially one so much weaker than me."

Seriously, he had a good idea of how strong they all were as things were right now. And to be honest, he doubted he'd even need Grian to smack around her entire peerage, or Rias Gremory's for that matter.

And don't even get him started on if he went even further than that.

With Blaze Black Flare and Delete Field, he'd get access to cursed dragon fire and the ability to seal off the natural abilities of anyone caught by his Sacred Gear. Then there was Grian, not only was it a holy sword that was said to be as powerful as the true full Excalibur in its prime, or at least around that level, when he wielded it, it boosted all of his abilities. It boosted his physical strength, speed, endurance, stamina and magical power.

And his Balance Breaker, boosted not only the abilities of Blaze Black Flare and Delete Field to all new heights, but even enhanced his physical and magical abilities as well!

Quite frankly. There was a reason why even knowing the crap with Kokabiel was going on right now, he didn't feel threatened.

He was pretty sure he could take Kokabiel right now. 'In fact if I wanted, I could go put the boot to him and his pansy minions asses right now, break the Excalibur fragments over my knee and show him a truly blue Scottish holy sword!'

Sona just stared at him for a moment, agape at his audacity, "..Then..then why did you come here specifically and blatantly seek out myself our Rias when you would know we can sense your holy sword and claim you want to be reincarnated as a devil?" she asked.

"Either one of you fits my purposes," he shrugged, "I mean don't get me wrong, you guys are a decent back up plan if I really need it, but I'm more interested in getting a meeting with the Satans and seeing about becoming a king right off the bat, after all, going beyond my power and bloodline, I have vital for information that concerns your race as a whole that they'll want to know about."

Sona opened and closed her mouth a few times, looking a bit like a goldfish. It took her a good ten seconds to regain her mental faculties, "...That's impossible," she replied, gaining a raised eyebrow from him, "I'll come back to the rest of what you said. But, even taking into account your frankly absurdly arrogant statements fully, you won't be able to become a king without having one yourself, it's not anything to do with power or prestige or what you have to offer."

"Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to be insulting to you, I'm saying if I was at all interested in having a king, either you or Rias Gremory would be my first choice," he replied, but did not refuse her words, "Why is it impossible though?"

"Hmm, well, I'll take that as a compliment, shall I?" Sona hummed, shaking her head, before looking him in the eyes, "The reason why it is impossible for you to be reincarnated as a devil and not have a king, is simply because the process is not perfect. The king acts as a conduit for the new demonic energy and stops it from rampaging out of control and mutating the reincarnated devil into the same monsters Stray Devil's tend to be."

"Ah...that's shite," Yarden clicked his tongue, "So I really do need to be in a peerage then, and neither you or Rias Gremory will be able to reincarnate me."

He wasn't going to lie. As useful as becoming a devil was, giving him access to such an easy magic system to use, an instant parameter boost depending on the piece used to reincarnate him and the near immortality, at least through aging, that was kind of a deal breaker.

Sona's brows furrowed, "How exactly do you know neither I or Rias would be able to reincarnate you?" she asked, "You don't simply think you are that strong do you? While it's true I don't have many pieces left, I know Rias at least has a rook left, which is worth four pawns, and you shouldn't have access to that kind of information."
