"Y'all have some nerve!" Dedede said, sitting on his throne and staring down the group of Atleasian Soldiers who had amazingly survived the crash. "Invading our homeland just so you can destroy some lousy teenagers?! Ya gotta be kiddin' me!"
"If… it helps, we were manipulated by a very sexy pirate girl. We didn't know she was posing as a military leader." One of them said.
"That ain't no excuse!" Dedede yelled. "You invaded our land! You should be lucky that Kirby ain't here… he wouldn't be as merciful as yours truly!" He said, causing the soldiers to pale up. "For your punishment for invading our land… you will spend a very long time in the dungeons with only bread and water!"
"But… what about the massive food pile that's right next to you?" A soldier pointed out as Dedede turned to a large pile of food next to his throne.
"…ONLY BREAD AND WATER!" He yelled. "Now git before I change my mind! Waddle Dees! Waddle Doos! Escort them to the dungeons… and confiscate their weapons so they don't try anything funny!" He ordered as the Waddle Dees and Waddle Doos saluted, then they escorted the soldiers away.
"Sire, do you think maybe this is a bit far? You're holding Atlas soldiers hostage. I don't think Ironwood will like that." Escargoon said.
"Bah, ol' Ironbutt don't scare me. Besides, it's not like he's gonna miss a few soldiers." He said, munching on a melon.
"Hmm, I suppose you're right."
Meanwhile, in Atlas…
"You have some explaining to do." Ironwood said, as he, along with Esdeath, was in a holding cell with Syrup.
"Mmm, fire away." Syrup said, casually filing her nails.
"How the hell did you do it?" Ironwood demanded. "How were you able to waltz into this place, pose as an high ranking official and convinced some of my men to go with you? And not only that, but were able to hijack a ship without anyone knowing and heading to Vacuo? You almost put us at war with Vacuo!"
"Oh, don't worry your pretty little head about it." Syrup said. "I basically did you a favor."
"And what was that?"
"Do you honestly expect every one in the military is willing to obey you? They were quick to jump aboard the moment I posed as high level security. Of course, a little manipulation never hurt anyone. Honestly, considering how someone was able to hack into Remnant's network, it was easy to sneak in when everyone was scrambling about, trying to figure out what to do."
"So you broke in when everyone was distracted?" Esdeath asked.
"Precisely. It was really easy when the whole network was compromised. It was only a matter of time before MAJC slipped up and we were able to track them. Of course, I didn't take into account they would go into space… which was why I'm glad I stumbled upon a Chaos Emerald wandering around Diamond City. I was surprised Wario didn't get to it first. I could feel immense power from it and I figured it could prove useful… and what do you know, one of your ships, or in this case, my ship was able to harness its power and take off into space! As far as I'm concerned, MAJC is probably done and dusted by now."
Esdeath frowned. "All of this just because they took some magic coin sack away from you. I know there are some women out there who can be really petty, but you… you've taken it a step further."
"What can I say… you take a woman's treasure, there will be hell to pay." Syrup smirked.
"You manipulated my men… you practically brainwashed them!" Ironwood growled.
"I wouldn't say brainwashing… after all, every where you look, there's some sort of corruption going around. The military is no different. Who's to say there aren't corrupt soldiers going about, ready to commit treason against the man who holds two seats on the council?" Syrup smirked. "You wouldn't want another Seryu incident now, would you~? After all, I helped expose the corruption and you were too blind to see it. Who knows… some of them might just betray you."
"You…!" Ironwood immediately pulled out his gun and pointed it at Syrup's head, causing Esdeath to gasp but Syrup didn't even flinch.
"My my… are you going to kill me in this cell? You wouldn't want word to get out and have everyone find out you killed a prisoner in a cell, would you~? Wouldn't want PR to find out how corrupt you truly are… and I don't think your partner is all sunshine and rainbows either… or should I say "daughter"?" She smirked. "You kept that little information locked up on General Esdeath's file, but hey… I was able to find that out."
Ironwood clenched his other fist in rage and then turned his gun to a wall and shot at it instead of Syrup. "You are going to be locked in this cell for a long time… and you will have no hope of escaping."
Syrup smirked, her arms folded. "Hmph. So be it. I'll find a way out of here eventually. Just you wait." She said as Ironwood walked out, closing the cell behind him and marched off with Esdeath hurriedly walking after him.
Esdeath continued to walk after Ironwood, her face filled with worry. A few soldiers that walked by stopped to salute the two generals. Ironwood stormed into his office and planted his hands on a table. "…Dad? Are you okay?"
"No… I'm not okay." Ironwood groaned. "That woman… she might be right. There might be soldiers who are willing to betray us without a second thought. Who can we trust… we can't trust anyone! That also includes the Ace Ops and the Winter Ops because some of them might be in on it too. But it couldn't just be in the military… how far does it go? Atlas… Mantle… all of Remnant? Hell, that Futaba girl might betray us too and-"
Esdeath wrapped her arms around him, burying her head into his back. "Stop… please…" She begged gently. "You're letting her get into your head. Yes, she brought up a good point, but there's no need to go this far. Don't let this control you… you need to control your semblance, not let it control you."
She would hug him tightly. "I don't want to see you grow paranoid over this… to see you fall into something hideous. Please… take a deep breath…"
Ironwood closed his eyes, taking a deep breath and turned around, wrapping his arms around Esdeath, where she would bury her face in his chest. "Thank you…"
"We'll weed them out as we go along but there's no need to go full on nuclear." Esdeath told him.
"You're right… where would I be without you?"
"Well, you'd be declaring martial law for one." Esdeath said. "Luckily I'm here."
"Indeed." He nodded as Esdeath would reach up and kissed him on the cheek.
"It's gonna be okay, dad… I promise you that." She said and then gently took his hand before suddenly pulling him away. "I know the best way to cheer you up."
"And what's that?"
"Ice cream, duh!"
Ironwood sweatdropped. "Shouldn't it be the other way around? The parent takes their kid?"
"Pfft, that's so old school, you old timer." Esdeath teased.
"I'm not that old! …But I would definitely like that."
"Great, because I was gonna take you anyway if you refused~!" Esdeath giggled.
"Wait, who's the parent here, you or me?!" Ironwood wondered, blushing in embarrassment while Esdeath laughed. "Esdeath!"
Meanwhile, with Team Chaotix…
BGM: Have a Nice Talk (Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story plus Bowser Jr's Journey)
"Boys, I can't believe we took all this money from Wario!" Vector said, dumping a sack full of the coins that Wario had dropped in the courtroom. "Heck, Sae actually let us have this as our pay!"
"I can't believe we knocked him out so easily." Charmy said.
"I'm sure he will be fine." Espio said as Vector dumped the large sack of coins in the office.
"With this, we can turn the lights back on!" Vector said.
"How about we splurge first? I'm a bit hungry." Charmy admitted.
"Good idea, I'm hungry too!" Vector grinned. "How about some Chinese?"
"I could eat." Espio nodded.
"What, you don't want to invite your girlfriend? We know you have a thing for Vanilla~" Charmy teased.
"She ain't my girlfriend!"
"Not yet, anyway! When's the honeymoon~? Mwah mwah!"
"CHARMY!" Vector yelled, reaching for him but Charmy flew up higher.
"Missed~! Missed me again! Hahaha!"
"Get down here, ya punk!"
"Oi…" Espio shook his head and grabbed the phone. "Hello, China Town? It's Team Chaotix, we'd like to order some food."

Meanwhile, at the Future Foundation…
"That was so awesome! We saw it all!" Aoi exclaimed, happily squishing Makoto with a hug.
"Mmmph! Can't… breathe…!" He said.
"I knew my brother could do it." A voice spoke up as Makoto would turn to see his sister leaning on a wall. "He's the Ultimate Hope after all."
"Jealous, Komaru?" Makoto teased.
"Not in the slightest." She said, and then suddenly pulled on his ear. "But ya should've brought me with ya, I would've easily protected ya from that pirate skank!"
"Ow ow ow ow… sis! OW!"
Komaru giggled, letting go. "But it's no big deal. That Esdeath lady did all the work for me." She said.
"Yeah, that's because you were too busy shopping in Coconut Mall to lend me a hand, ya lazy bum." Makoto teased.
"Augh! Hey!" Komaru shot him a glare with both of them playfully punching each other on the shoulders.
"Ah, siblings… ya gotta love 'em." Aoi giggled as Makoto walked out. "Where are you going now?"
"I've got someplace to be." Makoto said.
"Probably hanging out with his girlfriend." Komaru teased.
"She's not my girlfriend, sis. We just have a friendly professional relationship." Makoto said and walked out.
"Ugh… those two just need to get a room already." Byakuya mumbled as he was reading a book.
"My sentiments exactly." Komaru agreed.
"Well done." A voice said that caught Makoto's attention as he would turn to see Kyoko sitting on a bench. "I knew you could handle it."
"Well, of course." Makoto chuckled. "You have a lead on Eggman?"
"Not yet, but I can feel I'm close to a breakthrough on where to find him." Kyoko said before her face darkened a bit. "That said, Syrup was lucky I wasn't there. I would've easily socked her in the face the moment "Pussy boy" left her lips."
Cat fight… Makoto thought with a chuckle. "Yeah, I wouldn't have put it past you."
"Indeed." Kyoko nodded as she stood up and approached him. "So, shall we then?"
"Yeah." Makoto nodded as the two walked off together. "I do find it a bit odd that you asked me out… usually it's the guy who sets up dates."
"True, but you did it last time, so I figured it was my turn." Kyoko said, giving him a smile.
Makoto chuckled. "That's a good point." He said. "So where are we headed?"
"Some place that's not covered in Phazon. I hope this mess gets cleaned up soon."
"Oh, I have hope it'll get sorted out." He said, both of them unaware of Hiyoko spotting them while she was chatting with Mahiru.
"Oh… get a room, you two." Hiyoko snarked, while Mahiru giggled before snapping a picture of the two.
With Sae…
BGM: Beneath the Mask (Persona 5)
"Another successful trial." Sae said, sipping a cup of coffee at Sojiro's.
"I'd say that one was pretty wild?" Sojiro asked.
"Well, I guess you can say that." Sae glanced over at a table where they'd see Phoenix having a cup of coffee while chatting with Maya, even Edgeworth was there chatting with them as well.
Sojiro chuckled. "Indeed."
Sae nodded and then pulled out her phone. "I'm not sure if they have reception up in space… but it's worth a try." She said and then started texting her sister.
Hey, how's it going up there?
A minute passed, but then came a response.
Going well… wait, we have reception up here? - Makoto
"Well, what do you know…" Sae chuckled as she started texting.
Apparently you do.
Right? So how's it going down there?
Just completed another trial. MAJC's name has been cleared.
I knew they were innocent! …Kinda.
Indeed. How about you?
Not well… Haru's been poisoned by Phazon…
Oh, that's horrible!
Yeah, and… there's something else that's bugging me.

Who?
Apparently he's this jester and he seems to know RWBY, JNPR, the Mario Bros, the Galarians, Torchwick and Peach quite well… especially Ruby. Apparently, there's an alternate universe where we're all made out of paper.
I can… somehow believe that.
Not only that, but he tormented the paper version of Ruby since his version was under a lot of stress and turned her into… something called Chaos Ruby.
And he believes that he can do it again with out Ruby?
It seems like it. According to Ruby, she can feel her other self's pain…
Well, if he ever comes into contact with me, I'll make sure he won't harm Ruby. Plus, his plan is flawed if he tries to do anything to Ruby. Last I checked, she's not completely stressed out unlike her paper counterpart, right?
Right. The only thing that does tend to make her stressed is Dark Ruby herself… but the latter has been awfully quiet as of late. I don't like it… I feel like something's about to go down. But other than that, Ruby's been fine.
I'll keep an eye out. Her AND Dimentio.

"Yeah… apparently someone is out to give Ruby a hard time."
"Her dark counterpart?"
"No… someone else. Does the name Dimentio mean anything to you?"
Sojiro frowned. "Hoo boy… do I have a story for you."

Finally… at Windpath…
The Hydra came to a gentle stop as everyone climbed out of it. "Well, that was fun!" Mona smiled.
"Indeed." Anthony smiled as they walked inside the residence and found the place to be dusty and there were a few cobwebs.
Zoey sweatdropped. "Oh dear, now you know why I tend to dust every day."
"Yeah… I don't blame you." Chloe said as Zoey would proceed to get to dusting, letting out a few happy hums as she did so.
"A former Atlas soldier being happy with being a maid, who would've thunk." Jen chuckled.
"Indeed." Anthony nodded. "Now… what to do with all of this stuff…" He mused, looking at the treasure they've obtained.
"We can keep some of it! Like all the shiny stuff!" Mona grinned before suddenly taking off with the shiny things.
"Well, you can keep the shiny stuff if you want… but I imagine we can just pawn off all the rest of the treasures, that includes our weapons that we picked up in Dreamland." Anthony said. "Though, I can imagine we can keep a few souvenirs."
"Any reason why?" Camrin asked.
"Simple… let's just say I got inspired." Anthony grinned. "I'm imagining a set of thief tools along with my dime roll that I… never used." He chuckled. "It'll make infiltrations that much more of a breeze."
"Come to think of it… I got inspired too." Camrin admitted. "Imagine me having a grappling hook. It'll make me really move around along with my rope spear."
"Hmm… a pen-like device…" Chloe said aloud. "A medical device that uses surgical sutures to stitch things up like cloth, body tissue and other things that require being stitched up. Yeah, I like that!"
"With your steady hand, that'll be a breeze." Camrin smiled.
"Yeah, but no need to rush, bro." Chloe chuckled. "Zoey, how about you?"
"Oh, I wouldn't mind having a bracelet that, when activated, deploy a shied for me should I ever feel the need to engage in close quarter combat." Zoey said. "Maybe upgrade my feather duster so it's not just a cattle prod." She giggled, then continued to dust.
"I'm not giving up my Season's Heart." Jen said. "Having magic is actually kinda fun."
"Yeah, I wasn't gonna let ya give that up anyway." Anthony said.
"I'm not doing open heart surgery on you, Jen." Chloe responded, and then they would see Mona walking in, looking a little different.
"Finally finished my outfit I've been working on before we were on the run!" Mona grinned.
"Oh?" Anthony looked at her curiously.
"Ta-dah~!" Mona beamed as her outfit she worked looked similar to the NCR Ranger Comat armor (Think: Fallout New Vegas) where it simply had tatters on the duster and pants, and the lettering was replaced by the Vacuo emblem, she even had goggles on her forehead.
"What, no helmet?" Anthony teased.
"Just the goggles… though I wouldn't mind having some night vision on these bad boys." Mona grinned.
"Hey, that's good enough." Anthony chuckled.
"So, now what?" Camrin asked.
"I'm gonna go organize my shiny stuff… be right back!" Mona said and took off running.
"I'll go sell these." Anthony responded. "And then… we can figure out our next heist."
"Sounds good to me!" Jen grinned as Anthony picked up the large sack and walked off, hopping on the Hydra and then drove off, luckily not charging it up.
A few minutes later…
"Oh, a merchant?" Anthony wondered as he parked the Hydra and walked over to the merchant. "Hey there."
"Oh hi there! What can I do for ya?" The merchant asked with a smile. "The name's Anna! I hail from Fodlan… but that's all you're gonna get from me." She chuckled. "What can I do for ya?"
"I'm here to sell all these." Anthony said, putting down the sack full of items.
"Oooooh! All of this looks valuable!" Anna grinned. "I'll gladly take these off of your hands!" She said and handed Anthony the gold. "That's a lot of gold for ya… I'd say about… oh… seven million?"
"Hey, that's good for me." Anthony nodded as he hopped on the Hydra. "See ya then!"
"See ya!" Anna waved as Anthony took off. "Let's see… what am I gonna do with all of thi-" Her eyes trailed off, spotting something amongst the treasure. "Oh?" She reached for it, pulling up the Chaos Emerald. "My my… this is a cutest little emerald I've seen! Never really seen it in this color before… eh, I'm sure it'll be worth a lot!"
And now… back to your regularly scheduled Galaxy 2 shenanigans!

The Phanto Mask traveled through the darkness of space. It slowly turned to see Dreamland as nothing more of a small speck in space.
It turned back around and flew off to places unknown in its own intergalactic adventure… in search for anyone or anything it can terrorize.
Even if it meant coming into contact with a technologically advanced comet.

Yuuuup! That Phanto Mask is out there somewhere... who knows where it'll show up next. Major shout out to Log for that first scene where Dedede locked up some of the Atlas military!
