The team made their way down the elevator to Sector 4, all of them hoping the SA-X wasn't there waiting for them to strike, or the Metroid that would pounce on them at any moment.
The elevator came to a gentle stop as they hopped off. As they walked, Samus would a comforting hand on Blake's shoulder and gave her a smile through her helmet. Blake felt more at ease with the smile that Samus gave her.
At that moment, ROB's eyes turned purple. "This sector has taken more damage than expected." He said, as the girls and Pikachu turned to him. "I knew the X were powerful and destructive, but still… this seems to be purposeful. We certaily can't rule out the possibility that the SA-X has a high degree of intelligence. I find the X fascinating, especially the SA-X-"
"ESPECIALLY?" Blake suddenly shouted. "That thing almost incinerated all of us! I don't find that thing fascinating at all… I find it absolutely fucking terrifying! Not to mention the X-Parasite has the potential of getting out of this station and fucking over the entire universe! And if not them, then the SA-X!"
"Easy… easy…" Rosalina said, gently putting her hand on Blake's shoulder.
"I can't blame her though…" Samus said.
"Indeed… while I do not know the meaning of terror, I do understand your concerns. Fascinations aside… this sector is home to a very large creature the researchers called Serris. It is capable of moving and attacking at ultra-high speed. The more senseless and widespread destruction here may be attributable to Serris."
Ultra high speed?! Blake thought.
Well shit… that's gonna be a problem… Samus thought.
I wonder if I can manage to stop that thing… Rosalina thought to herself.
"Pika…" Pikachu quietly said.
"No doubt the SA-X released it, but I can't be sure why yet." Adam would proceed to show a map for them. "Serris has returned often to the breeding tank here. It's natural behavior must be to go back to it periodically. It's a valuable specimen, but you have been authorized to terminate it. If you don't, it may invade other sectors."
Samus rolled her eyes at the mention of "authorized". Even as an AI, he's still giving me authorization… even if this AI isn't really him.
"While you're moving, be careful. Some broken power nodes have electrified the water… but we can't cut the power. Doing so would affect the whole station adversely. As you may know, if you touch the water with exposed wiring, you'll be electrocuted. Conserve energy as you go. Also, be on the lookout for that Metroid. That creature might be skulking about in this sector."
Blake's ears lowered when she heard that. It was bad enough that the Metroid was snacking on her aura, but now it's possibly here in this sector, watching ROB's eyes go back to normal. She took a deep breath to relax herself. Don't let that thing get to you… She thought.
"Let's move." Samus said as they went into the sector.
BGM: Sector 4 - AQA (Metroid Fusion)
"Ah, it's much cooler than it was in the other sector." Blake smiled.
"Yup." Samus nodded and then turned to Rosalina, noticing that her Zero Suit was still open. "Hey uh, Rosie?"
"Yeah?"
"I don't mean to sound rude, but we're not really in that extremely humid sector anymore."
"I know."
"Soooo, why is part of your chest hanging out then? I mean, no offense and all, I'm just curious."
Rosalina giggled. "None taken." She said. "And to be fair, I'm actually comfortable wearing it like this."
Blake shrugged. "I mean, it works."
Samus chuckled. "Yeah, I'm not complaining."
"I do understand your thought process since we're in a much more cooler area and there's no need to air myself out, but… I'm good." She smiled. "As I said, it's way more comfortable." She said as they were climbing up and then Samus bombed a wall so they could progress, as they were met with a few Scisers, only for them to be annihilated as the women dropped down and landed on a platform as they continued to gracefully jump across the platforms and reached the other side, and then turned around to see Pikachu comfortably riding on ROB's head as he flew across with his thrusters.
"Cheater." Samus teased, causing Pikachu to giggle as he hopped down and they went into the next area where they would see a good portion of the area completely flooded.
"My word…" Rosalina whispered, seeing the excess damage. "Samus, have you ever encountered a Serris before?"
"No. Am I surprised that this supposed creature lived on SR-388? Of course not… but I am surprised that I never encountered one. So I'm guessing I either lucked out or I wasn't in its territory."
"How about both?" Rosalina guessed.
"That works." Samus shrugged as they walked around as they had their guards up and weapons drawn, just in case a Metroid happened to be lurking about or Serris was out and about, while also taking out a few Scisers.
Blake would climb up a ledge and noticed the platform was completely underwater and inhabiting a Skultera. She leaned closer, taking a good look at the Skultera… where it jumped out and nearly bit her nose off if it wasn't for her cat-like reflexes to pull away and then immediately shot it up to destroy it, leaving behind an X-Parasite. "Thanks, I just lost my appetite." She said, backflipping away as the X-Parasite chased her before coming to a complete halt as it saw her landing next to Samus causing it to quickly fly away in a panic.
"…That's the first time I ever seen an X-Parasite fly away panicking." Rosalina mused and looked to Samus who had just installed five more missiles into her repertoire after taking out some Owtches. Hmm, I wonder… She thought as they walked around, finding knee deep puddles in some parts of the floor and other areas where you needed to swim while avoiding Skultera chasing you.
"What did this thing do?" Samus wondered. "I've never seen anything get so fucked up by one creature…" She said as she was somewhat thankful she didn't encounter this beast while hunting Metroids. If it did this much damage, who knows what'd happen to them.
They went into another room, weapons still drawn as they cautiously entered. Pikachu and Blake's ears would twitch as they went up ahead and saw exposed wiring electrocuting the water. Blake turned to Pikachu. "I know you can handle electricity well, but… I fear that this might be too much for you."
"Pika Ka…" Pikachu seemed to agree and tilted his head. "Pika?" He asked, grabbing a small pipe and held it like a hammer. "Pika Chu Chu?"
"Nora? Yeah… she defiinitely would, especially considering just the other day when she found out from Toadley that thanks to getting the Thunder Hand, she can absorb twice as much electricity without getting hurt… which would explain how she's able to handle that Xurkitree of hers."
"Chaaaaa…" Pikachu said in awe as the two turned around while Samus, Rosalina and ROB were examining different ways to get across.
"Boop bop." ROB suggested.
"Let's not use up much of your rechargable fuel." Samus said. "There has to be a way across. I know Rosie can levitate us across but I'd rather not have to rely on her cosmic magic all the time. No offense."
"Oh, no worries." Rosalina smiled.
"Hmm?" Blake looked up, "Hey guys? Why not climb our way through?" She asked, as the trio turned to see Blake pointing up at the ceiling and saw they could just climb their way through.
"Oh… that works." Samus chuckled sheepishly as they climbed across and landed on the other side, then they went through the door and kept going, spotting a blue door as Blake shot it to open it up as they walked through the door.
Pause BGM
"Pika!" Pikachu suddenly shouted, pointing to something on the ground… where it was none other than the Alpha Metroid, looking pretty much dead.
"Oh thank goodness…" Blake sighed with relief. "It's dead." She said as Samus walked over to get a closer look.
"…No, it mutated." Samus said, causing Blake's ears to lower.
Rosalina readied her wand. "It's close then." She said as they gathered together, ready to throw down. "Do we know what it mutated into?"
"Gamma." Samus said, aiming her arm cannon around. "Stay close. That thing can be anywhere." She said as they cautiously walked around.
A shadow moved alongside a wall, quickly disappearing as soon as ROB turned his head to look at it. Pikachu's cheeks sparked and was on all fours, his ears on high alert as it twitched, looking up at the ceiling but a shadow disappeared.
A small noise caught their attention, making their way forward cautiously as they spotted a rock leaning against a wall.
Blake was on her guard, when something spider-like came crawling down from a web as it got to Blake's head and started to open its mouth, when it saw Blake's cat ears twitched and quickly moved away right as Blake turned around, her hand ready to fire a laser at anything that moved, and was considered hostile.
The same spider-like creature came down again, this time getting between Blake and the others who were preoccupied by the rock, wondering who could've thrown it. Blake's ears twitched again and when she turned around… webbing struck her mouth.
"Mmmph!" Blake grunted, as the creature would quickly web up her arms and legs. "MMMMMMMPH!" She let out a muffled scream, catching the others attention as they turned around.
"What on earth?!" Rosalina said in surprise.
"Hey… HEY! Put her down!" Samus ordered, firing at the creature as it sprang up to the ceiling and webbed Blake up, as she was still screaming as the creature disappeared into the darkness, right as Pikachu's Thunderbolt hit the ceiling.
"What the cosmos was that?!"
"That was the Gamma Metroid… I never seen one kidnap anything." Samus growled. "Sorry ROB. Hey! AI! Can you hear us!"
"Loud and clear."
"We need to figure out what that thing took Blake." Samus said.
A map popped up in front of them. "It's taking her up a few levels, but it is thankfully still in AQA. It is actually near where Serris is currently hiding out."
"Then we have no time to lose. If that thing was munching on Blake's aura as an Alpha… then I shudder to think how much damage it could do to her as a Gamma." Samus said. "Let's go, we have to hurry!"
"Right!" Rosalina nodded as they took off.
"Where… where am I…?" Blake wondered, finding herself on a beach. "I'm on a beach?"
"Hey, Blake!" A voice called out as Blake turned around to see Sun approaching her.
"Sun?" Blake asked in surprise.
"I didn't think you'd make it!" Sun smiled, taking her hand. "Come on, I need to show you something."
"O-okay." Blake nodded as the two walked into a small tent on the beach where they found themselves a bed. "A bed?"
"Blake, you have made me one happy faunus… and I want to treasure this moment together." Sun said as he got on one knee, pulling out a box and opening it to reveal a ring. "Blake… will you marry me?"
Blake gasped, putting her hands over her mouth. "Y-yes! Yes I will!" She smiled as Sun grinned and happily pushed her on the bed, getting on top of her as they started making out where Sun would take off her shirt...
Back in reality, however… the Gamma Metroid had wrapped Blake up in a webbing where it had also caught some unwitting X-Parasites in the web. It had webbed up Blake's eyes and had wrapped its webbings around her entire body, sans her head. It had also put her into a trance where she would be enjoying herself.
The Gamma Metroid tore open its prisoner's webbing until it exposed her Zero Suit, tearing a part of it open to expose her abdomen. It perked up, hearing Blake moaning through the webbing as it tilted its head, wondering what kind of hallucinogenic trance it had put her in but it shrugged and happily inserted its mouth onto her abdomen, happily eating up her aura.
It went on like this for a couple of minutes, undisturbed by Blake's sweet nectar that it was receiving. It craved more as it continued eating her aura.
…And then a missile struck it on its back, snapping it out of its trance. The Gamma Metroid turned its head, glaring at Samus aiming her arm cannon at it. "Get away from her!" She yelled as she was soon joined by the rest of SPRR.
The Gamma Metroid hissed, jumping off of Blake's body as it hovered over them and continued to hiss at them.
BGM: Gamma Metroid (Metroid: Samus Returns)
Aura Thief - Gamma Metroid
The Gamma Metroid hissed and spat out electricity, but Rosalina would conjure up a reflective force field to send it back as the Gamma Metroid yelped a bit before it snarled, breathing fire at them but they rolled out of the way as Samus fired a few missiles at its mouth as it would respond by shooting electricity on the ground, covering the entire area as Pikachu would respond by letting out a Thunderbolt, striking the Metroid while Rosalian got Samus and ROB to safety.
The Gamma Metroid landed on the ground and crawled to Samus, it's claws glowing a dark color as it attempted to claw her with a Kasap attack, but Samus would bat it away with a Melee Counter and shot it in the face with a few missiles before charging up her beam and fired a charged shot to stun it.
Its teeth suddenly started burning, infusing it with Kafrizzle and attempted to chomp down on Pikachu, but he jumped away and threw an Electro Ball into his mouth as ROB went over and used an Arm Rotor attack to knock it away before firing a laser.
The Gamma Metroid hissed, suddenly flying up and then started unleashed a few Kaswooshle tornadoes as Rosalina avoided one, but another hit her right arm and not only did it tear the sleeve, it also tore her skin, causing her to wince as it would headbutt her right after, pinning her to the ground and attempted to bite down with its Kafrizzle-like teeth, but Rosalina used a Cosmic Burst to send the Gamma Metroid flying as it proceeded to web up Rosalina, but she teleported away as it hit the ground and then ROB pulled out a Gyro as he would spin himself around and threw it at the Metroid, hitting it on the head as Samus went charging in and grabbed a hold of its mouth, proceeding to shoot a few point blank missiles.
The Gamma Metroid let out a cry, noticing the aura that it stole breaking. It then hissed and breathed fire at Samus, forcing her to break away from it as it then headbutted her, as it tried to chomp down on her, but Pikachu would jump over and Iron Tailed it on the head and then Samus used an uppercut to knock it on its back where ROB would shoot a laser at its nucleus.
With a shriek, the Gamma Metroid got back up and flew away, grabbing a hold of the trapped X-Parasites and disappeared into the darkness, leaving Blake by herself.

"Yeah, piss off." Samus said and turned to Rosalina. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah, it's just a scratch." Rosalina said, looking at her arm that got torn up a bit from that Kaswooshle. Some blood had trickled down her forearm and stained her glove, but she had healed herself up and all that was left was a small scratch on her soft, smooth arm.
ROB would hover up and tore Blake off of the webbing, then brought her down as he would use a laser to cut through the webbing that held her there, even between her eyes and lips, then Rosalina and Samus would tear it off.
"Hey, wake up." Samus said, shaking her but Blake was unresponsive. "Blake? Hey, Blake... wake up!"
"Wait, look at her eyes." Rosalina said. "She's in some sort of trance."
"That Metroid put her in a-?!" Samus growled a bit. "Damn that Calasmos!" She said and the clenched her fist. "Sorry about this." She said and backhanded Blake hard on the cheek. Hard enough to make even ROB wince.
However, it didn't work as she was still in a trance. "Alright, time for Plan B." Samus said as she took a step back.
"What's Plan B?"
"Pikachu, give her a shock!"
"Pika...CHUUUUU!" He yelled, using Thunderbolt on Blake, causing both Rosalina and ROB to sweatdrop.
"That doesn't seem very efficient!" Rosalina said.
"Uuuungh..." Blake groaned.
"...I stand corrected!" She said as she knelt down as Blake rubbed her head, shaking her head as she snapped out of it. "Hey, you okay?"
"Ugh, I'm fine... but why do I feel so tingly? And why does my cheek hurt like hell?" Blake wondered.
"You were in a trance, we had to knock it out of you." Samus said.
"I was in a what now?" Blake asked, looking horrified. "How was I in a-... wait, what did that spider thing do to me?!"
"That "spider thing" was a Gamma Metroid, and it was feeding off of your aura." Samus said.
"That was a Metroid?!" Blake said in disbelief. "Aaaagh... fuck... it got more of my aura." She groaned under her breath.
"How much do you have left?" Rosalina asked. "I hope it wasn't much."
"I was at 90% when we got the Alpha off of me." Blake said as she activated her helmet. "Now I'm at-..."
"Blake?" Samus asked with a hint of worry.
"I'm... at 5%."
"Oh my stars..." Rosalina whispered in horror.
Samus clenched her fist, standing up and turning toward a wall, her radar picking up on something behind it as she pulled back her fist and punches the wall, breaking it as they saw an Energy Tank.
Without even hesitating, Samus picked it up and took it to Blake. "Here, use this."
Blake took off her helmet, looking at Samus. "Are... are you sure? We're trying to get you back at full strength."
"I'm well aware... but I can live without one." She said, then took off her helmet to make direct eye contact with the Faunus. "Blake, please... just take it for me, okay? It'd put my mind at ease."
Blake looked at the Energy Tank, hesitating to take it. This was the bounty huntress's life energy for her suit... she couldn't just take it. She looked back up at Samus, seeing her pleading eyes before she finally relented, taking the Energy Tank, opening it up and dipped her hand in it, feeling it absorb into her as she felt her aura restoring.
She put her helmet back on, seeing that her aura was rapidly growing back to the way it was until it reached 100%. "That's... much better." She said as she noticed that the Energy Tank had depleted because of it. "Oh, Samus, I... I'm sorry that I used it up."
"Don't be. You needed it more than I did." Samus smiled softly before putting her helmet back on, then helped Blake up where the latter would deactivate her helmet... and that's when Blake noticed Rosalina's wound.
"Oh, Rosie, you're-"
"Don't worry about me, Blake. We're just more worries about you." Rosalina smiled sweetly. "Besides, I've had worse injuries." She said.
"Right... so, where are we?" Blake asked.
"We're near Serris." Samus replied. "Come on, let's take this bad boy out."
"Right!" Blake nodded with a smirk as they started climbing, taking care of any Sciser that got in their way until they dropped down and spotted a Gadora, where it would get destroyed as they walked in.
BGM: Tension (Super Metroid)
As they walked through, they climbed up a wall only to discover skeletal remains of a monster in a giant pool. The mere sight of it was enough to have a chill run up Blake's spine.
"Please tell me this is Serris..." Blake hoped.
"Honestly, I wish I had the answer." Samus responded as they jumped into the water and blasted their way through the door as they traversed through the water and climbed/swam up until they got onto some platforms.
…And that's when some of the platforms crumbled.
"Huh?" Blake looked to the open space between them. "What…?"
"I don't like this…" Samus said as they readied themselves, and then suddenly, something quickly breached out of the water and tackled Rosalina.
"Gah!" Rosalina yelped as she was pushed down as they turned around to see a tail going into the water.

"Are you okay?" Blake called out.
"I'm fine!" Rosalina said as they stood on their guard as ROB would scan the area, but the creature was too fast for him to keep track of.
"Boop boop…" ROB "booped" lowly.
"Hit the water!" Samus ordered.
"PIKACHUUUUUUUUUUUUU!" Pikachu cried, using Thunderbolt in the water right as the creature breached out, causing it to yelp.
BGM: Battle! Serris (AM2R)
The creature was stunned for a few seconds before it shook off the pain and snarled at them.
"What the hell is that?!" Blake said in surprise.
"That'd be Serris, I'm assuming!" Samus said as Serris went back underneath the water.
Lightning Fast Eel - Serris
"Stay on your guard, this is gonna be tricky." Samus said as they stood on guard as Serris swam around them before breaching out of the water and tried to chomp down on Samus, but Blake quickly shot it up with her laser while Samus jumped back and pelted its mouth with a missile.
Serris went back underneath the water as they stood on their guard as ROB would look down on his platform and fired a laser, barely missing Serris as it breached out and whacked ROB with its tail, making his head spin around before he grabbed a hold of it and readjusted himself as he fired another laser, just barely nicking its tail.
"Damn, this thing's fast!" Samus growled as Blake's ear twitched as she turned around to fire, but discovered that it wasn't in front of her… and then Serris breached out behind her and chomped down on her hair.
"AAAGH!" She cried as it attempted to pull her down into the water.
"BLAKE!" Samus yelled as she jumped over and grabbed onto her leg, resulting in a tug of war between her and Serris. Blake, meanwhile, was screaming in pain. She didn't know what was hurting worse… the eel pulling her hair or the fact she felt a massive pull in her abdomen where Samus was holding on to her leg.
Rosalina sprang into action and dove underwater, quickly swimming as aura surrounded her wand to act as a cosmic blade and when she got close, she shot up and slashed through Blake's hair, as Serris pulled away a big mouthful of hair as Samus pulled her away where Blake now had short hair a la RWBY Volume 7 hair.
"Mmph…" Blake sat there in pain for a few seconds before shaking it off. "Thanks Rosie."
"You're welcome." Rosalina said as Samus sprang into action and quickly fired a few missiles at Serris who was currently bothering Pikachu and ROB. Serris went back underwater as Pikachu growled and shot off another Thunderbolt in the water, electrocuting Serris and the water as it roared in agony before disappearing under the water.
"Did we get it?" Blake asked, and then Serris shot out of the water and smashed into the ceiling, causing water to rain down and start flooding the entire area.
"Shit!" Samus cursed. "Rosie!"
"On it!" Rosalina nodded, raising her wand up to conjure up a breathable aura for her and Pikachu while Blake activated her helmet as the whole area was covered in water, where Serris had free reign on them by smacking into them constantly.
Samus was less then thrilled over this as they sluggishly tried to fight the creature. Of all the things to steal from me, it had to be my Gravity Suit… damn that parasite! She thought as Serris swiftly swam around them as Rosalina would blast away Serris with a well timed cosmic blast as Samus charged up her beam and shot at Serris, but it narrowly dodged it and slammed into her.
Blake would quickly shoot at Serris, but it nimbly dodged and body slammed into her. "NNNGH!" She grunted, as the force was enough to actually knock the helmet off of Blake. Oh shit! She thought as she tried to reach for it, but in a slow motion moment, she would see Serris charging at her. Oh shit… oh shit OH SHIT OH SHIT OH SHIT! She thought as Serris opened its mouth wide open. SHIIIIIT! She screamed as Serris chomped down and swallowed her up.
"BLAKE!" Rosalina shrieked in horror.
"Pika!" Pikachu cried.
"You… you…" Samus clenched her fist. "YOU ASKED FOR IT!" She screamed, starting to pelt it with missiles.
Inside of Serris, Blake opened her eyes and found herself inside Serris. "Mmmph?!" Blake exclaimed before covering her mouth, realizing that there was no air pockets inside of Serris. Shit… this is bad… I need to blast my way out of here! She thought, pulling out Gambol Shroud and started blasting Serris from the inside, but the quick and fast turns that Serris was pulling made Blake's aim unstable.
One such forced turn caused Blake to slam into a wall on her back, causing her to yelp and opened her mouth. Shit… I gotta hurry…! She thought, desperately trying to shoot her way out as she was slowly started to fade. No… no…! I… I need to…! She desperately thought, trying her best to get out while rapidly losing air… and Serris moving about wasn't helping matters at all.
Suddenly, Serris stopped moving, the sudden jerk slammed Blake into the roof of the mouth. "MMMPH!" She grunted, then noticing she lost her grip on Gambol Shroud. No! I… I need to…! She thought as she looked around and tried to charge up a Kazammle spell… but then, Blake started to black out. No.. I… I… need to…
The Kazammle spell dissipated as Blake's eyes closed, slowly floating right as Samus tore open Serris's mouth and Rosalina held it in place as Samus deactivated her Power Suit and swam through, grabbing a hold of Blake as Pikachu joined her, only to see Gambol Shroud on its tongue as Pikachu swam down and grabbed it before swimming out.
"ROB, NOW!" Rosalina yelled as ROB got into position and fired a few small lasers that homed in on Serris before firing one gigantic laser that consumed Serris's entire body, then Serris started to fade away and leave nothing more than an X-Parasite where ROB fired another laser to pierce through it and left behind a power up for Samus, right as Rosalina charged up cosmic energy and fired a massive Cosmic Slice to pierce through a wall and made a gigantic hole, causing the water to go through and receded right as Samus and Pikachu jumped out of the water and got to the surface, Samus reactivating her armor as she looked at Blake's lifeless body.

"Blake… Blake! Can you hear me? Blake!" She said, shaking her awake as she looked at Blake's body through her visor, seeing that she was no longer functioning. "No… no…!" She whispered as the X-Parasite would fly toward Samus, going inside her armor.
Speed Booster and Shinespa-
Samus deactivated her armor as she desperately pounded Blake's chest. "Come on, Blake… come on… come on!" She said, applying CPR to her before applying mouth to mouth before continuing to pump her chest, but no response.
"No… no no no no… Pikachu! Thunderbolt! Give her a shock!"
"Pika… CHUUUUUUU!" Pikachu cried, using Thunderbolt on Blake, but nothing. "CHUUUUUUUUUU!" Another Thunderbolt, but still no response. "Pika Pika…"
Rosalina quickly got on her knees, gently pushing Samus aside and tried to heal her up, but to her dismay, Blake wasn't waking up. "Samus… I hate to say it but…" Rosalina looked away. "She drowned… she's gone."
"No… no no no no NO! ROB, hit her with your arms like a jackhammer or something!" Samus pleaded
"Boop boop!"
"What do you mean you don't know how?!"
Rosalina sat on her butt, sighing. "I don't know if we can bring her back…" She said.
"No… Pikachu! Iron Tail!"
"Pika… PIKA!" Pikachu slammed his tail into Blake's abdomen, but nothing had happened. "Pika…" Pikachu whispered, tears forming in his eyes. "Pika Pi…"
"No… NO!" Samus said, tears forming into her eyes as ROB bowed his head, closing her eyes. Samus growled, clenching her fists as she quickly started pumping her chest again. "Don't you die on me, Blake! Don't you die on me!" She said, her voice starting to break.
"Samus, I…."
"No! She has to live!" Samus told Rosalina, desperately pumping her chest. "I've had allies throughout my missions and I could do nothing to save them! Rundas… Ghor… Gandrayda…" Tears were falling through Samus's cheeks. "Adam… I… I am NOT going to let another person die on my watch!" She said, her voice completely cracking as she applied mouth to mouth again before pumping her chest again. "Come on girl… you can do this… COME ON!"
About five minutes of nonstop CPR, which felt like hours to Samus… Blake started coughing up water and took a breath of air, slowly sitting up. "Oh thank the stars…" Rosalina sighed with relief.
"Boop!" ROB exclaimed in surprise as Pikachu happily cheered.
"Pika! Pikaaaa!"
Blake opened her eyes, holding on to her head as she looked around and seeing relieved looks from everyone, she would immediately see Samus doing her best to wipe her tears away. "Samus…?"
"H-hey…" Samus sniffed, smiling at her. "Glad you're back…" She said as Blake teared up and hugged her back, burying her face into her chest and started silently sobbing as Samus held her there, her arms wrapped around as the others would hug Blake a few seconds later.
Meanwhile…
The SA-X wandered through a corridor in a sector, thankfully not in Sector 4 as it continued to scan the area. It stopped moving, feeling as if something was behind it as it turned around and aimed its arm cannon at nothing.
However, it's scanner picked up on movement as it turned on its flashlight from its helmet, looking around for anything that moved. In the shadows, something moved away as the SA-X turned its head and aimed at the wall.
Something crawled just above the SA-X and slowly started to web itself down toward the SA-X. The SA-X felt something behind it as it turned around… only for the Gamma Metroid to lunge at it and grabbed a hold of it.
BGM: Nightmare Battle (Metroid: Other M)
The SA-X quickly pulled the Metroid off of it and threw it away, quickly firing the Ice Beam at it but the Gamma Metroid jumped to the side and hissed at it, shooting out a lightning bolt at the SA-X to stun it as it then jumped over and headbutted the SA-X, but it would proceed to bat it away and punched it away as it then fired a Wave Beam at the Metroid.
The Gamma Metroid quickly moved out of the way and breathed fire, hitting the SA-X but it rolled out of the way in response and fired a few Super Missiles at it before charging up and fired a Diffusion Beam at it, hitting the Gamma Metroid and smacking it to a wall.
The SA-X ran toward it, Speed Boosting toward it before Shinesparking to it, but the Gamma Metroid leapt away in time as the SA-X crashed through the wall instead as the Gamma Metroid flew into the hole and spat out webbing to trap it in place, but the SA-X burst out and grabbed a hold of it with the Grapple Beam before slamming it into the ground to stun it as the SA-X then kicked it to another wall.
The Gamma Metroid got up and hissed, unleashing Kaswooshle on it as the SA-X powered through as it jumped up and axe kicked the Metroid, but it flew away and then spat out lightning bolts, hitting the ground and electrocuting the SA-X as it tackled it to the ground and attempted to chomp down with its Kafrizzle-like teeth, but the SA-X pried it off and punched it away.
The SA-X would proceed to fire a charged up Ice Beam and shot at the Gamma Metroid, but in a split second, the Metroid seemed to disappear when it got hit and then tackled the SA-X from the side and blasted it with a fireball. It would then attempt to latch on to it and tried to dig in its claws with Kasap, but the SA-X batted it away and attempted to Screw Attack it, but the Gamma Metroid jumped to the side and hit it with electricity.
The Gamma Metroid would then fly up and shot down bolts of electricity, but the SA-X rolled out of the way and laid down a Power Bomb, causing it to blow up and hit the Gamma Metroid, blasting it away as the SA-X then sped toward it and Shinesparked into it, slamming it into a wall and proceedig to punch it, but the Gamma Metroid would hit it with a point blank Kaswooshle and then hit it with a nasty fireball, making it back away as the Metroid would get on the ground and spat out a fireball, buring the ground with the SA-X before tackling it away.
The SA-X got back up, firing Wave Beams at it but the Gamma Metroid quickly zipped past them and tackled the SA-X, breathing fire at it right when the SA-X fired a point blank charged up Wave Beam, both of them hitting at the same time and causing an explosion that caused both of them to slide back.
Once the smoke cleared, the SA-X and the Gamma Metroid stood there… until the SA-X fell on one knee as the Gamma Metroid's aura broke and it fell flat on its nucleus in exhaustion.
End BGM
The two continued to stare at each other. The SA-X gave it a cold hard glare while the Metroid hissed at it… until the SA-X got up and walked away, limping while the Gamma Metroid found its second wind and retreated into the darkness.
Both of them vowed to finish their opponent off the next time they met… for this battle was a tie.
"I… I fucking hate eels…" Blake would say in her video message. "As you may have noticed, I'm sporting a new haircut because that damned eel thing tried to pull me into the water hair first… I'm glad Rosalina cut through my hair because I wasn't sure what'd be split open first… my head or my abdomen."
She let out a loud sigh. "I'm trying to stay positive but… I just got eaten alive by a fucking eel and before that, I was in some kind of fucking trance from a fucking spider-like Metroid! How can I stay positive over that? Because frankly… I don't even fucking know!
And… to make matters even worse… I… drowned. I thought I was gone for good but Samus got me out of it. As I said… I hate eels… and I fucking hate the water now. I don't think I'm gonna go down into a body of water and get me a Cheep Cheep anytime soon…
Byleth, if you happen to be watching this… I… I don't know if I'm gonna be a more massive train wreck than Ruby- no offense, Rubes- or Weiss… but… I need a massive hug from you when this is over. A group hug… my parents, Ilia, team RWY… everyone… aaagh…
Alright… enough ranting… Samus is probably done collecting any missile she can find before we head off. I'm gonna try to remain positive as most I can… but I'm not sure if I can stay smiling a moment longer… not when that aura stealing Metroid and SA-X are around…
Oh god… is that Metroid gonna gain a semblance? …Oh hell… She groaned. …Love you guys.
Once Blake hit the stop button, she slowly got up and let out a deep sigh. "I just hope we're not in here much longer…" She said as she started walking.
"Blake… can you hear me?" A voice suddenly spoke up, making the Faunus jump.
"Agh! Who… who said that?!"
"Blake… it's me, Calyrex."
Blake immediately perked up. "Caly… is that you?"
"Indeed it is, child. Everyone's been a bit worried about you. You let your Pokemon here, your Absol, Seer, has been on edge, your family is worried… Weiss won't stop worrying about you…"
"I'm sorry for leaving my Pokemon there… I thought it'd be an in and out mission… I thought for sure I'd be back as quick as I left…"
"Hmm, that does make sense."
"Wait… how are you able to communicate with me from far away? I thought it was a thirty mile radius."
"You can thank me for that, Blake."
"And me."
Blake's eyes widened. "Arceus? Mewtwo?"
"What are we, chopped liver? We're helping too!"
"Xena…" Blake smiled.
"Hey! Don't leave me out!"
"Hi Blake!"
"Ness… Zelda…" Blake whispered. "You're all helping Calyrex reach out to me?"
"Indeed. Because of these psychics, I'm able to reach out to anyone throughout the entire universe." Calyrex explained. "We thought we'd check in on you just to put Weiss's mind at ease…"
"Thank you… I needed this…" Blake said, tearing up.
"You seem to be troubled. What is the cause of it?"
"Well… it was… I… mm… aaagh… oh god… I-" Blake's breathing started skyrocketing. "It was this thing and now these Parasites are-"
"Blake, I can tell you are about to hyperventilate. Do me a favor and take a deep breath." Calyrex requested as Blake closed her eyes and took a deep breath, controlling her breathing.
"Alright…"
"Now… please, tell me everything."
Biologic Space Lab Video Log #5
"Adam Malcovich… truly, one of the top dogs of the military. He and Samus were definitely good friends… and they damn well respected each other, that's for sure. The two often joked and enjoyed each other's company despite keeping it professional. Truly, they bounced off each other rather well… with the occasional strain of their relationship when they were at odds, but don't all friendships have those moments?
In any case, Adam was a well respected leader. A little TOO well respected, if you ask me. Someone had to get rid of him… because once he found out about the Metroids in the bottle ship, he said it was a bad idea. I proposed a counter idea… which was basically ignoring that asshole. Heh, well, we can tell who won that little debate. After all, I'm a well respected scientist of the Galactic Federation.
Hell, I even proposed some pet projects and they were on board with the idea! However… we needed to take care of a few loose ends. Said loose end had to be Adam himself. Why do you think he and his team went off to the Bottle Ship? We had to get rid of him… sure, his team was expendable but c'est la vie.
However, to our dismay, Adam had to go and destroy Sector Zero. But it wasn't all that bad, Adam was destroyed in the meantime, taking the bullet for Samus in her place! Ha! Adorable!
…But… this isn't the end of Adam's story. Ooooh nooo. The Galactic Federation went to the ship and gathered his remains, and put his mind inside of an AI. How were they able to pull this off? Hell if I know, I'm kinda kept in the dark about this myself! But I digress…
But what I do know is that Adam is still alive and well. Where is he at? Hmhmhmhm… why, he's inside of a ship… the same ship that Samus took! As long as Samus is blissfully ignorant about this, then it'll be smooth sailing.
Unless… of course… Adam was installed in some kind of robot with a hell of a personality… buuuut I don't think that'll happen. Heheheh… oh Samus, you have no idea what kind of AI you are talking to, let alone taking orders from. Hmhmhmhmhmhm… hahaha… AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
