BGM: Sector 6 - NOC (Metroid Fusion)
Several blue X-Parasites fled in terror as Samus walked through the sector with her team right behind her. "Alright, that makes 155 missiles…" Samus said and then turned to Blake, who was looking rather depressed and holding Pikachu in her arms. "How's she holding up?"
"Mmm… I can't say for sure." Rosalina said.
"I'll… get by…" Blake said in a melancholic tone.
"Boop. Boop beep boop." ROB said.
"Yeah, I think it's taking a toll on all of us." Samus admitted, letting out a small sigh. "Normally when I'm out on missions, it's usually never this stressful at all nor is it ever. Hell, even when I was in Phaaze, I was more determined to take down Dark Samus once and for all but… never has a mission like this ever been so stressful."
"Guess we… bit off more than we can chew, huh?" Blake asked.
Samus slowly nodded. "Yeah… but, dammit… if we quit now then those parasites win and take over the entire universe. We can't quit or rest now."
"You're right. We have to do everything we can." Rosalina nodded.
"Yeah… so… where are we headed next?" Blake asked, stroking Pikachu's ears.
"I think Sector 5." Samus said and turned to ROB. "Is that right?"
ROB's eyes turned purple. "Mmm…"
"Something wrong?"
"I just can't help but wonder how the Parasite was able to absorb the Varia Suit data just like that. The fact that it did such a thing is fascinating to say the least. But anyway, you got the Varia Suit… although, judging by everyone's reaction to it, I assume it's not the best."
"My Varia Suit shouldn't look like this eyesore." Samus said. "Honestly, the Varia goes from looking badass to… to…"
"Like a first grader making the Varia Suit themselves?" Blake chimed in.
"Honestly? A first grader would've made a better Varia Suit." Samus said.
"…I see. Noted. Anyway, you have your Varia Suit so you should be able to withstand extreme temperatures, not to mention you'll escape from the SA-X a whole lot easier. That said, it's still too powerful for you, so it's best to leave it alone. However, my simulations indicate that a penetrating weapon like the Plasma Beam might work."
Samus perked up. "Plasma, you say?"
"Developing modification data from HQ will take time, however. There's also a chance you might be able to restore your Plasma Beam by absorbing a large Core-X, as you did with the Charge Beam function. As for restoring Ice Beam functionality, I doubt it… your current cullular makeup would reject that addition."
Typical… Samus thought.
"Therefore, HQ has developed an Ice Missile upgrade. It will definitely help."
"Ice missiles?" Blake raised an eyebrow.
"That definitely sounds new." Samus said. "I'm assuming it's in Sector 5?"
"Yes. In the ARC. I must warn you though. Your friends will have to fight the cold in order to stay alive. It is that frigid."
"Oh…" Samus turned to Rosalina with a smirk. "I'm sure they'll live."
"Good luck."
"Hmph, he doesn't even realize it." Rosalina said with a chuckle as they made their way to the elevator where they went up and then they went to Sector 5 and went down.
"I forgot to mention that in order to get the Ice Missiles, you'll have to open the level 3 hatches. They're yellow. Once you open them up, you should be able to get to the data room."
"Sounds good." Samus nodded, where ROB's eyes went back to normal, as he attempted to fold his arms in disgust and grumbled to himself. Samus would then put a hand on Blake's shoulder. "We'll get through this."
"I know…" Blake nodded as the elevator came to a stop.

BGM: Sector 5 - ARC (Metroid Fusion)
As soon as they walked through the door, they were met with freezing temperatures. "Gah!" Blake yelped.
"Ka… Ka… Ka… Kachoo!" Pikachu sneezed.
"Boop boooop…" ROB shivered.
"I've experienced colder." Rosalina said, aiming her hand and using her cosmic powers to warm ROB, Blake and Pikachu up.
"Don't get me wrong… I've been in cold places before but this is… uuugh." Blake shuddered.
"Yeah, this feels pretty normal to me." Samus said as they wandered around the cold sector, where they would be greeted by Wavers attempting to attack them but they were quickly defeated as Samus would grab a hold of the X-Parasites.
Samus scanned the area and found a wall that was destroyable by missiles as she would destroy said wall as they made their way through and then found themselves in a large room that held walls guarded by glass.
"What's with the glass?" Blake wondered.
"Probably to keep something in… or maybe not." Samus shrugged.
"Boop boop." ROB said.
Samus chuckled. "Right. A big scary monster is behind those walls. Good one." She said as they made their way through while shooting down some Choots before they made their way into the next area, where Blake nearly slipped on the ice.
"Wah!" Blake yelped, but Samus caught her. "Phew…"
"I got ya." She said as they hopped down into the corridors, taking out any Waver or Zeela in the area until they hopped down one particular corridor. Once they landed, Samus's radar picked up up on something as she morphed into a ball and bombed the floor until a part of the floor opened up where they hopped on in and made their way through a few corridors until they saw a machine in front of them.
There are you. Samus thought as she went over to download the data.
Level 3 hatches now open.
"There we go." Samus said as they opened up a yellow hatch and made their way through a few more corridors and then worked their way up while destroying Zeelas and Wavers, making their way through a door after climbing their way up and then Samus opened up a security door and opened up a yellow hatch, and then found the data room where Samus would step inside.
Ice Missiles Online!
"Well, I suppose this will do for now." Samus said as they walked out where the bounty huntress would proceed to experiment her new arsenal… such as firing the new Ice Missiles on a Ripper minding its business as she jumped on it and leapt off toward a platform for extra height, while the Ripper harmlessly thawed out and started to lazily float around without a care in the world.
"Hmm…" Blake aimed her weapon at it and fired, but her lasers would bounce off. "Huh?"
"Boop boop!" ROB said and then fired a laser, but it would bounce off as well and struck a wall. "…Boop?" He tilted his head.
"CHUUUUUU!" Pikachu cried, but a Thunderbolt didn't faze it at all. "Pika Pika?"
"Stand back… hraaaaaaah!" Rosalina cried, unleashing a small black hole to try to destroy the creature, but it just simply ignored the gravitational pull. "…Fascinating! I've never seen anything like it." She said while Samus returned with a few more missiles and more energy added to her.
"Oh, playing around with the Rippers, are we?" Samus teased. "You can't really kill those things. Believe me, I've tried."
Blake sweatdropped. "Now you tell us?"
"I assumed by you guys trying to destroy it, it would've been obvious." Samus snickered. "Don't worry, it's all good."
"Well, I guess we got what we came for." Rosalina said with Samus nodding.
"Right, let's move." Samus said as they worked their way back until they got to the main area with the glass wall. As they started to climb back up…
Something moved within the walls.
End BGM
"Wah!" Blake yelped. "What the hell was that?!" She yelled as the shadow moved again.
Pikachu hopped off of Blake's arms and got on all fours, electricity sparking out of his cheeks. "Chuuu…" Pikachu growled as Rosalina aimed her wand at the wall… as the creature moved again.
"Boop bop? Boop…" ROB sweatdropped.
"I too thought you were joking." Samus admitted as the creature moved again, where Samus would get a good look at it.
Wait… is that…? No, it couldn't be. She thought, flashing back to her fight with the creature back on the Bottle Ship. Could it…?
"Samus? Samus!" Rosalina shook her shoulder.
"Huh?" Samus snapped back to reality. "What is it?"
"You okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine… I just thought that that creature looked familiar…" Samus said and then aimed at the glass wall. "Whatever that is… I'm not liking it."
However… just as they were about to find out what the creature was…
"Emergency in Sector 3!"
BGM: Sector 3 Emergency Situation (Metroid Fusion)
The whole area turned bright red. "What the…?!" Blake said in surprise.
"Emergency in Sector 3!"
"Emergency in Sector 3!"
"The hell is going on in Sector 3?" Samus wondered and turned to ROB. "Hey AI, do you know what's going on?"
"Emergency in Sector 3 (PYR). The area could melt down soon. It seems the main boiler's cooling unit is malfunctioning. This could easily destroy the entire research station, as it would likely trigger the auto-destruct explosives."
"This facility has WHAT NOW?!" Blake yelled in disbelief. "You gotta be fucking kidding…"
"We have about six minutes. Hurry to the main boiler room. Most of the systems in PYR are down because of this… Again, we know who it is to blame. The SA-X must have hacked into the system control file. It's intelligence is horrific to say the least… get to it as soon as possible!"
"Six minutes? Six minutes is nothing." Samus said, then ROB's eyes turned back to normal. "Rosie. You know what to do."
"Right." Rosalina nodded, closing her eyes and then teleporting them back to Sector 3.

BGM: Magmoor Caverns (Metroid: Samus Returns)
The moment they teleported into Sector 3, they were greeted by extremely hot temperatures. "Mmph! Hot enough already?" Rosalina wondered, immediately using her powers to cool down the others.
Samus scanned the area. "Where are you… aha! This way!" She said as she ran off with the others behind her, as Samus would blast through anything in her path, dropping down a corridor and firing Ice Missiles at Funes to freeze them to the walls as they dropped down.
Once they opened up a hatch, they walked in and saw boiling lava on the ground with some Geruta flying around. Samus immediately hopped on the ceiling and started to climb her way through as Blake use her Whip to swing her away forward with Pikachu on her shoulders, ROB flying over as Rosalina was behind them.
"Five minutes until detonation."
"See? This is nothing!" Samus said as she landed on the other side after destroying some Geruta, making their way into the next corridor, jumping on platforms as fire shot up out of the lava to try and hurt them while a Namihe lunged forward but Samus froze it up with an ice missile and used it as a platform with the others behind her as they climbed up and also destroyed any Sova in their way.
"Four minutes until detonation."
As they went into the next corridor, they found themselves in the main boiler room as they would start climbing their way up while destroying any of the Sidehoppers in their path, then Samus blew up a Gadora as they made their way inside.
Only they went inside… they found nobody at the controls as Samus would hop down and quickly manned the controls. "Come on… come on… there we go!" She said, quickly turning on the cooling system.

"Cooling system back online."
"There… that's much better." Samus said.
Blake's ears twitched. "…We're not alone." She said as they quickly got into battle stances, all of them ready for what was thrown at them.
Something slithered past Blake. She quickly turned around and aimed Gambol Shroud at nothing. ROB turned his head around, scanning the area until he saw something on the ceiling. He would fire a laser, but the creature disappeared from view.
A tail slithered past Blake's back, slowly caressing it as it stiffened, shifting her eyes behind her as she turned around again, but saw nobody there. Her breathing quickened as a result, her heart raced as a cold sweat ran down her forehead.
Samus and Pikachu scanned the area. "You see anything little guy?"
"Pika."
Rosalina glanced at a shadow of the wall, narrowing her eyes as cosmic energy formed around her hands and she fired a cosmic laser from her hands, striking the wall as it lit up… and then the creature lunged and tackled Blake to the ground.
"Mmmph!" Blake grunted as she opened her eyes and saw a massive creature staring at her, snarling and it roared, causing her to scream before kicking it off of her. It then let out another roar as SPBRR stared at it.
"…Don't tell me…" Rosalina said. "That thing's a Metroid, isn't it?"
"Yeah, a Zeta Metroid…" Samus said. "I think it's high time you left Blake alone!" She told it as the Zeta Metroid hissed and then charged at them.
BGM: Zeta Metroid (Metroid: Samus Returns)
Crafty Hunter - Zeta Metroid
The Zeta Metroid breathed fire at them, but ROB got into position and fired a laser, both of them colliding as the Zeta Metroid front flipped and clawed at ROB, making him back up. Blake would shoot at the Zeta Metroid, but it would deflect them and grabbed a hold of Blake by the collar with a smirk, but she snarled and then kicked it in the knee, making it drop her as she roundhouse kicked it away.
Electricity conjured up in the Zeta Metroid's hands and then fired lightning bolts at her, but Blake used her semblance to dodge it as she summoned her Belladonna Claws and lunged at it, slashing through it… but it had also disappeared and grabbed her short hair. "Nnngh… what…?!" Blake said in surprise as it tossed her to the ground.
"Did it just…" Rosalina could only say.
"That son of a bitch…" Samus growled as she ran toward it, activating her Speed Booster before Shinesparking into the Metroid, slamming it into a wall as she punched it, but it disappeared and then spat out webbing, trapping Samus in its webs as it turned to Blake and breathed out fire, but she rolled out of the way and fired lasers at it, but the Metroid uses its new semblance to avoid the attacks and clawed at Blake to knock her down.
The Metroid attempted to then try to eat more of her aura, but Pikachu would come in with a Volt Tackle to knock it away as Samus had freed herself and then fired ice missiles at it, causing the Metroid to roar in pain before it grabbed one missile and threw it back at Samus, forcing her to roll out of the way.
The Zeta Metroid turned to Blake… but it felt its tail being grabbed by ROB as he swung his body and smacked him into a wall where Rosalina would pelt it with cosmic energy waves as Blake sprang back up and shot at the Metroid. The Metroid attempted to escape, but Rosalina held it in place as Samus pelted it with missiles.
The Metroid cried out in pain after its aura shattered before falling its stomach, then Samus kicked it to make it roll on his back. "Hey Blake… you want to do the honors?" Samus asked.
"Oh hell yes." Blake smirked.
End BGM
Blake stomped her foot on the nucleus, and then aimed Gambol Shroud at the beast. "You've caused my life a living hell… now it's time I make you my bitch." She said, all of them unaware of a scientist behind them, holding some kind of weapon in his hands as he smirked, pressing the trigger and charging up.
"Pika?" Pikachu turned his head and his eyes widened, seeing what was about to happen. "Pika!" He cried as the scientist fired the charged shot right at Blake, as Pikachu got a running start and jumped into the air, taking the full shot instead of Blake. "PIKAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
"Huh?!" Blake turned her head as did the others, all of them seeing Pikachu sprawled out on the ground.
"Pikachu?!" Samus said in surprise as she immediately ran to him, picking him up. "Come on buddy… come on!"
"I would vastly appreciate it if you stopped hurting my Nina."
"Nina?" Blake turned her head to the scientist… and then the Metroid kicked her off of it as it crawled back to the scientist.
"Oh Nina, they didn't hurt you too badly, did they?" He asked while Rosalina knelt down and started healing Pikachu.
"His vitals are okay… he's just badly wounded." Rosalina said as Samus clenched her fists and turned to the scientist.
"Who the HELL do you think you are?" Samus glared.
"Me? Oh, I'm just an ordinary scientist who works here in the space station and for the Galactic Federation. The name's Shou Tucker, nice to meet you, SPBRR." He said, giving them a smile.
"You know us?" Blake asked.
"Know you? But of course! I've been keeping a close eye on you in this facility. The way you're busy repairing stuff while dodging the SA-X and fighting Nina… it's extraordinary! I've heard tales how strong the Samus Aran is, but to see it up close? It's truly a privilege."
"But why would you attack Pikachu just like that?" Samus demanded.
"Oh, I wasn't aiming for Pikachu… I was aiming for the cat girl. She was on my precious Nina, so I thought I'd try to get her off of her. You see, this Metroid… I've been raising it like she's my own daughter. I have no family, you see… well, I do have a dog but who know where he's been? I'm sure he'll come around. Hmhmhmhm."
"Your own daughter? That thing's nothing more than a malicious parasite!" Rosalina pointed out.
"Hahaha! She's just hungry and she just wants to play! Of course, you do tend to play a bit rough with her…"
"She kidnapped me and webbed me up, then ate up all my aura!" Blake pointed out.
"That's her way of getting to know you a little more." Shou explained before chuckling. "Still though, I'm quite surprised that you're handling that vaccine well, Samus."
"What are you talking about?" Samus asked.
"Well, considering the Metroid Vaccine was used on other scientists here… they were turned into mindless mutated zombies! In a way, the vaccine was highly untested, and yet… seeing you right here, having used my experimental vaccine? I say it's a massive breakthrough in science! To think that you were the first one to live through the vaccine… it's incredible! It's a first step to Metroid experimentation!"
"You… YOU WHAT?!"
"Aw, now don't be so upset. I'm sure the words you're looking for is: "You're wel-" Samus grabbed him by the throat and pushed him into a wall. "Hggrk!"
BGM: Mortal Sin (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood)
"Answer this very carefully…" Samus said, taking off her helmet and glaring at Shou. "What. Did. You. Put. In me?"
"Hahaha! I don't get what you're so upset about. This is how we progress! Metroid experimentation is a necessary step! I would think a bounty hunter who works for the Galactic Federation would understand!"
"SHUT UP!" Samus yelled, aiming her arm cannon at him. "Do you think you can get away with this… messing around with dangerous creatures such as these… and naming one like it's your own daughter!"
Shou gave Samus an amused look. "Dangerous creatures, you say! You'd know all about that, wouldn't you? You have a Metroid sitting around at that mansion of yours. It's friendly to everyone and yet you only sic it on those who deserve it! You call yourself a benevolent bounty huntress? You have a dangerous creature on your side! It's only a matter of time before you go insane and have the Metroid kill anything that makes you angry!"
"You… you SHUT UP!" She yelled, charging up her arm cannon.
"After all, you have Metroid DNA inside of you! Wouldn't that make you dangerous too? You've been experimented on! You have Chozo AND Metroid DNA inside of you! You're not even human anymore, and yet, you have the audacity to call yourself one? Don't make me laugh, Sammy… after all, no mere human can blow up planets and go about their day like nothing happened!"
Samus let out a growl, trembling in rage before she let out a loud scream and punched Shou hard enough to make his glasses fly off of his face… but all it did was make him laugh. "Hahaha! We're the same, you and I! I'm insane for having a Metroid as a surrogate daughter, you're insane for raising one like a child after it had imprinted on you… it's only fair that we're the same! Hahahaha!"
"You have the audacity to make you think we're the same? News flash… WE'RE NOT!" Samus yelled, proceeding to pummel him with several hard punches.
"Samus! Wait a minute!" Rosalina called out to him.
"Samus, wait!" Blake yelled.
"Boop boop boooooop!" ROB cried and then Adam took over. "Samus! That's enough!"
"Pika…" Pikachu said quietly in pain.
"That's it…" Rosalina said, aiming her wand at Samus and stopped her there.
"Mmph! Rrrgh… Rosie… let go of me! This bastard… he thinks he can-"
"Oh, I'm well aware… but if you keep pummeling him, you're going to kill him."
"That's the idea!"
Rosalina sighed. "Sammy, for as long as I had known you, you never would take a human life… no matter how much they annoy you. This isn't you. If anything, this despicable man doesn't deserve death… what good will it do if you kill him right here?"
"Call me crazy… but I want to know more about this Metroid experimentation." Adam spoke up.
"Hahaha… glad you asked!" Shou said, disregarding his own bleeding face. "As I was saying, this is how we progress. Imagine, if you will… a Metroid/Cat hybrid roaming around the galaxy. Or better yet, a Metroid/Human hybrid… or a Metroid/Rodent hybrid! Metroid/Robot! The possibilities are endless… and if I mass produce these Metroid vaccines, I'll have a whole army of Metroid Hybrids at my disposal! Just think of the endless possibilities!"
"…Okay, I heard enough. This man is insane."
"You… are you insane?!" Blake spoke up. "You're… you're nothing more than a sick twisted piece of shit!"
"Well, regardless of what I am… perhaps I should test it out on you, my dear cat girl. You look like you've been experimented on yourself. There is no possible way those ears are natural on their own!" Shou said. "In fact, you could possibly be… I dunno, a Beta Human!"
Blake's eyes widened before clenching her fists. "Why you little…" She aimed Gambol Shroud at him. "That's it! If Samus won't kill this guy… then I will!" She said.
"What?!" Rosalina said in shock.
"Blake…" Samus whispered.
"Oh, now this is an interesting turn of events!" Shou grinned. "I wonder, do you have what it takes to kill me? After everything you've been through in this station?"
"I can certainly try!" Blake growled, as she would pull the trigger.
"No!" Rosalina exclaimed as she tried to reach out to try and stop it… but suddenly, something landed on the ground and caught the laser with his hands.
End BGM
"Hmhmhmhm… I don't know what's more amusing. The bounty huntress losing her cool… or the faunus."
Samus's eyes widened. "Oh, you gotta be shitting me…" She said.
"Ridley?!" Blake said in surprise.
"I would appreciate it if you didn't kill Shou Tucker. He still has his uses for me." Ridley smirked.
"You're working with HIM?!" Samus yelled.
"Oh, my dear Sammy… it's not just me who's working for Master Ridley and the Space Pirates. In fact, the Galactic Federation is allied with them as we speak."
"WHAT?!" Samus yelled.
"He's right… and as long as I'm here, you are not to harm Shou." Ridley said. "I'm only here on business, but hearing that you guys were here… why not have some fun? Heh…" He then turned to Blake with a smirk.
"I… I'm not afraid of you, Ridley…" Blake said, causing Ridley to smirk and towered over the Faunus and before she could do anything, he got on all fours and roared directly into her face, which was enough to make her flinch and scream.
Ridley smirked. "Just as I had thought, you're on edge." He said and then turned around. "I'm not going to fight you here, but… when the opportunity arises, I will have my way with all of you." He said as he flapped his wings. "Until we meet again, SPBRR!" He said, flying off and snagging Shou and Nina away, leaving everyone there.
Samus looked down, seeing Shou's gun was on the ground as she picked it up and snapped it in half, and then the energy from it made its way inside Samus's suit.
Spazer Beam back online!
Some of the energy, meanwhile, made its way into Blake's Gambol Shroud where it glowed a white color before it stopped glowing.
"Samus… are… are you okay?" Rosalina asked.
"You gotta be fucking…" Samus growled. "IS THIS WHAT THE CHOZO'S LEGACY HAS TURNED INTO?! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Samus punched a wall in frustration, leaving a massive dent.
Meanwhile…
"Heh… that'll keep them occupied for a while." Shou said, dusting his hands off. "I have to say, I'm proud that me turning off the cooling system was just a distraction to get them to see me." He said as he saw Nina catching some X-Parasites to charge up.
"That Metroid is malicious, correct?" Ridley asked.
"Yes, indeed. Why?"
"Shou, I hate to break it to you, but that Metroid is dangerous. It is in an a malicious state… in which it works for this being named Calasmos. Sooner or later, that Metroid will realize who its true master is… and it will turn on you."
"What?! No, Nina's master is me. I'm not going to let her fall to this… Calasmos!"
"It eventually will… and in time, Nina will lose control of herself. Once you are in a malicious state, it will be nearly impossible to get out of it on your own… unless you have a strong will."
"…Master Ridley?"
"I, too, was caught in Calasmos's influence and I had entered a malicious state. However, I told Calasmos where to stick it and broke free of his control. Because of that, I made it my mission to try and get everyone out of this state as much as possible, even if they were not allied with me. No one deserves to be under his influence… and if he decides to show his ugly blueberry mug to Remnant, I'm gonna fry him good."
"Well, then it's simple! Nina can break free of Calasmos's control!"
"…Doubt it. Metroids are simple minded creatures. They won't break free, and as far as I'm concerned… the sooner you dispose of this creature, the better." He said as he walked off. "If you'll excuse me, I need to monitor this SA-X closely." He said and flew off into the darkness.
"Hey guys, Rosie here. Blake's feeling a lot better but… she's pretty upset over what had transpired earlier." Rosalina said as she moved the scroll to Samus who was grumbling in frustration over what Shou Tucker had said, and then Blake was shooting at nothing.
"Beta Human… DOES THAT GUY HAVE A DAMN DEATH WISH!"
"From what I can tell… I can safely assume "beta human" is very bad slang for Faunus." Rosalina grimaced before sighing. "We need something positive here. Sure, we didn't encounter the SA-X but we did encounter that Metroid again. I think that Shou Tucker guy said her name was… Nina? I'm not sure.
But what I can safely say is that Shou Tucker is a horrible human being and… while I don't condone death to fellow humans, I will say that he should be brought to justice. The things I've heard from this man's mouth… it's not for the faint of heart. May the stars shine down on our mental health… I'm not sure how much longer we can keep it together."
Rosalina put the scroll away and rubbed Pikachu's head after putting some cosmic bandages on him. "I don't know about you, Pikachu… but I'm ready to blow this place up." She said.
"Pika." Pikachu agreed.
Biologic Space Lab Video Log #7
"Hmm, ya know… I think it's time I told you some of my pet projects that I've been working on for the Galactic Federation. It amazes me that they green lit this… but then again, they're pretty much okay with what they do.
Anyway! I'm sure all of you are… familiar with the Seven Deadly Sins? You know, Wrath, Envy, Greed, Gluttony, Sloth, Pride and Lust? Well, I decided to experiment with these and produced physical embodiments of the seven deadly sins… or as I have coined: Homunculus. I would like to go over them.

You have a robot? Pride will take over and use the robot against you. It can also take over mechs and other robotic-like objects. Of course, you CAN stop Pride but it is massively difficult. He's a slippery one but hey, what can you do?
