BGM: Environmental Tension (Metroid Fusion)

"So you're suggesting going to Sector 2?" Samus asked.

"Yes." Rosalina nodded. "That place is swarming with vegetation, so I can imagine there's a bit of an overgrowth situation that seeped its way to the power. So, why not go there and cut it down?"

"It's worth a shot." Blake suggested.

"First things first, I need to recharge my suit real quick." Samus said as she walked over to her ship. "After all, that spider was a pain in the ass."

"Yup." Blake nodded and then remembered something. "Oh!" She said as she walked after Samus.

Pause BGM

"Hmm?" Rosalina wondered, curiously looking at Pikachu and ROB in curiosity as Samus went into her ship to recharge her energy, missiles and Power Bombs while Blake hopped in and connected her scroll to the controls of the ship.

Alright, come on… come on… Blake thought as she saw it had connected to Remnant's network. Holy shit, it worked! She thought, her heart racing as she immediately controlled her breathing. She instinctively went to her teammates and was about to press the call button… but she stopped.

As much as she wanted all of Team RWBY to come out and help, she was afraid they might unwittingly get infected by the X-Parasite. She shuddered, picturing X versions of Team RWBY. She knew that Weiss is probably setting up for war against the Parasites and will drop everything to come save them. She scrolled away from her teammates, then spotting Sun, Ilia, Mercedes, Sienna and her parents in her contacts.

She closed her eyes, clenching her fists and doing her best to fight against calling for backup. She sat down on the seat and let out a sigh of defeat. There was no way that, despite their best efforts, they'd survive the onslaught of the X-Parasites.

She began to wonder how it's taken her so long without getting hit by the X-Parasite. She remembered Rosalina got bitten by one of those creatures, but was lucky enough that she didn't get infected. They could easily get the Metroid vaccine… but considering what had happened to Shou's co-workers before Samus got the vaccine herself…

Then there was that SA-X. Could the backup that could potentially come be enough to stop the SA-X who doesn't hold back? She let out a sigh… she knows she's been through the wringer and her mental health has gone through hell. Samus is on edge. Rosalina's frazzled. Pikachu's been seriously hurt… and ROB keeps getting taken over by the AI, much to his dismay.

"SPBRR's been through hell and back… are we gonna make it…?" Blake wondered to herself as she stared at her scroll and went back to what she originally was gonna do. She pressed the button on an app she chose, sending the signal to Remnant… and once it was locked in, she took her scroll out of the controls and walked out.

It might not work… but it was the only shot they had to turn the tide of battle.

"Hey." A voice said, catching Blake's attention as she turned to see Samus approaching her, all charged up and ready to go. "You alright?"

"Kinda… it's just that… I know we have some sort of chance but… I'm just… scared." Blake admitted. "The X-Parasites are multiplying like crazy, we're in some sort of hell, Shou and Ridley are out there somewhere… and on top of that, there's the SA-X and… it's all…" She started tearing up. "It's all too much…"

Samus immediately dismissed her armor and hugged her tightly. "I know how you feel… normally when I'm on missions, I don't normally feel this way… even if I had to take down some fellow Bounty Hunters thanks to Dark Samus but this… this is starting to get to me too. This has been… admittedly, stressing me out."

She would then pull away and looked into Blake's eyes, placing her hands on her shoulders. "You've been though a lot… and this one especially has put you through the wringer. Believe me, it's put all of us through the wringer… and honestly, I don't think I've seen Rosalina so frazzled considering what we're up against. But… I know we can get through this… SA-X be damned, we're gonna get out of this…"

Blake formed a sad smile. "I… I hope you're right."

"Me too." Samus said, hugging her again. "I mean, we made it this far… so that's something, right?"

"Hopefully…" Blake nodded, returning the hug before they parted.

"Come on, let's get this done." Samus said with a warm smile as Blake smiled back, then Samus activated her armor as they would walk back to the others.

Resume BGM

"Alright, you ready?" Rosalina asked.

"Oh yeah." Samus nodded as they would walk back to the Reactor Silo and crawled their way through before reaching the main reactor, then they hopped down and blasted away some vines, finding a crawlspace as they would crawl/roll their way through as Blake would shoot down some vines or Samus would blow them up with a Power Bomb.

As they crawled their way through… they heard the sound of footsteps. "Ah shit…" Blake groaned.

"Don't worry… I think if we remain in here, we'll be safe." Rosalina said. "We just need to wait it out…"

Unbeknownst to them all, something grew underneath Rosalina's foot and started to wrap around her leg. "…Huh?" Rosalina turned her head and saw vines wrapping around her. "What the…?!" She said as she would blast it away with some cosmic energy, making it shrink back.

However, it would grow back a few seconds later as it started to push everyone out of the crawlspace. "Wah!" Rosalina yelped.

"Pika?!"

"Boop!"

"Mmph!"

"What the…?!" Samus wondered as they were pushed out of the crawlspace and into an open area as Samus got out of her morph ball and landed on her feet.

"What was that all about?" Blake asked.

"Those vines are getting quite… lively." Rosalina explained. "They actually pushed us out."

"Oh, that's lovely." Samus groaned, and then noticed Blake shaking in fear. "Blake?"

"It's… not the only thing that's lovely!" She said, pointing behind them as they turned to see the SA-X standing their with its arms folded.

Samus closed her eyes and took a deep breath, exhaling deeply. "Fuck my life…" She mumbled as the SA-X aimed its arm cannon at them, cracking its mutated neck… it was waiting for a moment like this.

Rosalina aimed her hand at the SA-X and attempted to push it back with her telekinesis, but several vines got in the way and blocked her from sending it back. It would then open up a small hole as the SA-X fired a charged shot, forcing Rosalina to use a force field.

…Unfortunately, it was the Wave Beam.

"AGH!" Rosalina yelped, getting cleanly hit in the gut as she was knocked on her back.

BGM: Demons and Heretics (Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary)

"ROSIE!" Blake yelled.

"Woman down!" Samus exclaimed, picking Rosalina up.

"Pika…CHUUUUUUUUU!" Pikachu yelled, unleashing Thunderbolt on the SA-X while Blake shot at the SA-X and ROB fired lasers, but the vines would block the attacks as the SA-X would crawl through the hole.

"Shit. We gotta go!" Samus said, quickly firing her way through a hatch as they ran off as the SA-X chased after them.

However, they would immediately reach a dead end. "Dammit!" Samus growled. "Rosie… are you coherent enough to use a force field on the rest of them?"

"Nnngh… I can try…" Rosalina grunted, gritting her teeth as she set up a force field on the others as Samus would set up a Power Bomb. The SA-X walked its way in and would fire again at Rosalina, but Blake would get in the way and used her semblance, only for the SA-X to grab Blake by the throat and slammed her into the ground, then deflecting a Gyro from ROB before crushing it with its foot.

The Power Bomb blew up, causing the SA-X to flinch and destroy the wall as Blake would kick the SA-X back as they would continue to escape as Blake would fire at some lights to open up some hatches, but on the third door, the vines grew and blocked their entry.

"Dammit, come on!" Samus complained as she was holding Rosie over her shoulder. She would glance over and see some blood coming out of the right corner of her lips and would look down to see Rosalina holding on to her stomach.

The SA-X came closer as Samus would quickly shoot at the vines to make a set of stairs as they would quickly climb up, with the SA-X shooting at them before continuing to chase them. "What is with these damned vines?!" Blake wondered, quickly slashing her way through while also shooting at any Kihunter.

"It's… obvious there's… a type of Parasite in these vines… that's why it's… working together with the SA-X…" Rosalina said with some labored breathing.

"Save your strength." Samus quietly said as they blasted their way through, but as they went into a corridor, the vines would block their path as the SA-X was right behind them. "That's it!" Samus growled, aiming and firing an Ice Missile at the SA-X, freezing it on the spot but it would break out of the icy prison a second later and would fire an ice beam shortly after, but Rosalina aimed her hand and blocked it with a shield attack while ROB and Blake were busy tearing away at the vines.

"Pika!" Pikachu went charging ahead, unleashing a Volt Tackle and tackled the SA-X, but it would side step out of the way and grabbed him by the tail, throwing him into the vines. "Ka!"

"Shit!" Blake exclaimed as they would soon tear through the vines… only she was met with screeching from a certain Metroid and tackled her into the ground. "Agh! For the love of…!" She growled, kicking off Nina.

The SA-X stared at the Metroid and ran toward it, tackling it to the wall but it recovered and snarled at the SA-X where it would charge at it. "I can't believe I'm saying this, but thank you, Nina!" Samus said as they disappeared into the corridor while the vines and the SA-X fought the Metroid.

As they kept running, a few vines would trip up Samus, knocking her to the ground and dropping Rosalina, forcing her to get up a few seconds later as the vines would snag the group. Rosalina let out a low growl as her eyes glowed and cosmic fire conjured into her hands.

"Burn into the fiery cosmos!" She yelled, slamming her hands into the ground and burning up the vines around them to free everyone, but one vine in particular rose up and stabbed Rosalina in her lower back. "Nnngh!" She grunted, turning around and burning it up. "Come on… we need to go…!" She said as Blake and Samus would grab an arm and put Rosalina's arms over their shoulders as they continue to go through the corridors.

A few Kihunters would dive bomb from above, attempting to sting them but Pikachu unleashed Thunderbolt on them to destroy them as they would continue on… and just when they got into a clearing, a Power Bomb dropped right in front of them.

"SHIT!" Samus yelled as Rosalina would attempt to use a force field… but another Wave Beam hit in her in the back, causing her to scream out in pain as the Power Bomb exploded and sent them all flying.

"Nnngh…" Samus grunted, slowly coming around as her vision was a bit blurry as she saw the SA-X walking through, paying Samus no mind as she would slowly stop walking and then slowly reached down, where Samus would realize that it was reaching down for Rosalina. No! She thought as she aimed her arm cannon at it, but the vines would wrap around her arm canon to disarm her.

Samus desperately looked around for the others. Blake had Pikachu wrapped around her arms as Pikachu tried desperately to try to get Blake moving, but she was knocked out. Samus would turn to see ROB who was covered in vines.

Rosalina opened her eyes, only to get grabbed by the throat, causing her to gasp in surprise. The SA-X picked her up as she tried to fight back… but she was slugged into her gut, causing her to cough out some blood. The SA-X slowly turned to Samus, staring right at her as the vines removed her helmet so it could see her eyes before it would slaughter them all.

"D-damn… you…!" Samus growled as Blake would slowly open her eyes and come around, realizing what was about to happen as she grabbed Gambol Shroud and aimed at the SA-X, but it turned and held Rosalina as a meat shield, causing her to gasp.

"D-don't… worry about me, Blake… just… find a way to… kill this son of a-" The SA-X slugged her again, causing her to grunt as pained tears rolled down her cheeks.

No… this can't be happening… this can't be the end…! Blake thought as she felt vines wrapping around her legs as she was slowly dragged away, as was ROB, Pikachu and Samus.

"Wh-what are you waiting for… you have your… prize, don't you…?" Rosalina grunted as the SA-X stared at her with its mutated eyes before it slammed her into the ground and punched her in the face to knock her out, then the vines grabbed a hold of her and pulled her away.

Blake would open her eyes again… and then saw she was in some new corridor. She would look around and see Samus struggling to get out of her prison, as was Pikachu and ROB. She would look over to see Rosalina upside down with vines covering her mouth and entire body. Her eyes widened, seeing Rosalina in such a comatose-like state… it made her heart race.

What made matters worse was that she looked down and saw flowers ready to eat them all alive. She looked to the side and saw the culprit in charge. A plant-like Chozo statue was responsible for the mess… and she saw the SA-X by its side, seeming to be communicating with it.

She tried to struggle free, but realized that she was stuck. A loud noise suddenly made her jump as she turned to see Nina also covered in the prison that they are in. Unlike SPBRR, it was desperately trying to get out but to no avail.

BGM: Shadows (Halo 3)

Suddenly, the vines started to move as she would see the plants opening their mouths to proceed to eat them alive. First to go was Rosalina. "No… NO!" Blake yelled as Rosalina was still unconscious as she was slowly being dragged into the flowers.

It was then that ROB's eyes went purple. "I'm detecting something just entered the station… but I'm not sure what it is." He said, but his voice was drowed out by Blake's mind racing.

Samus tried her best to struggle her way out, desperately trying to get out but the vines had a strong hold of her. "Rrrgh… I didn't come all this way to become plant food!" She growled.

"Pika….!" Pikachu cried.

"No… no no no no…" Blake thought as she glanced over at the SA-X, seeing that it was watching the events unfold while it had its arms folded. No… this can't be the end…! She thought, fearful tears escaping her eyes as she looked away, closing her eyes as the plants just gobbled up Rosalina… and Pikachu was next to go.

"Pika! PIKAAAAA!"

Everyone… I'm not gonna make it back… Blake thought, tears ran down her cheeks. Ruby… Yang… Weiss… everyone… I'm sorry… but I don't think I'm gonna make it! She thought. I love you all… She silently started sobbing, seeming to have accepted her fate while Samus desperately tried to get her way out.

In an instant, a shadowy figure emerged from the ceiling and spotted Blake, quickly making its way forward as Blake continued to silently cry…

And that's when she felt a wave of power surge through her.

"Mmmph!" She grunted, feeling this wave of familiarity course through her. Instead of frightened tears… it turned into grateful tears as she took a deep breath and closed her eyes, before opening them… her eyes turning violet.

"VOID!"

BGM: This Time (RWBY)

"HRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Blake yelled, activating the Void power as the vines around her was sucked in as she floated in mid-air, glaring at the SA-X and the enemy in front of them.

Plants From Hell - Nettori

The SA-X looked at Blake in surprise before quickly shooting at her, but she aimed her hand at the Wave Beam and absorbed it into her before she clapped her hands and unleashed a powerful shockwave to destroy the vines and the plants in the water.

"Mmph!" Samus landed on her feet. "This is what we needed!" She said, charging up her Spazer Laser and started shooting as Pikachu and ROB busted out thanks to both Samus and Blake.

The SA-X jumped over and started shooting at Blake, but she aimed her hand at her and raised her arm up, catching the SA-X in a telekinetic trance as there was a loud screech as Nina jumped over and kicked the SA-X to the ground before breathing fire.

Blake would quickly rip out a flower that contained Rosalina as she would pull Rosalina to safety, who was covered in flower pollen while Samus would proceed to pelt Nettori with several Ice Missiles as Pikachu would unleash a Thunderbolt as ROB pulled out a new Gyro as he moved over and used an Arm Rotor and cut up the Nettori with the Gyro.

The SA-X got back up, attempting to shoot at Blake but Nina would stab it in the gut with her tail. The SA-X turned toward the Zeta Metroid and sucker punched it in the face and shot it up with a few Ice Beams. Samus would turn around as she started running before her speed boost activated and Shinesparked into the SA-X, slamming it into some vines and got tangled up as Nina hissed and jumped toward the SA-X to clobber it.

Nettori hissed at them before a plant-like worm burst out of its chest to try and bite down, but Blake would float down, using her Belladonna Claws to slash through the worm to cut it in half and then Samus would destroy it with several Ice Super Missiles until nothing remained of it but a Core X. It would proceed to charge at Blake but she held it in place before using another shockwave to send it into a wall as Samus obliterated it with missiles, destroying the core as Samus snagged the X-Parasite.

Plasma Beam back online!

"Oh hell yes." She said as the SA-X blasted away Nina and glared at the group as it started to charge up a laser and fired… but suddenly, another laser struck it as they turned to see Rosalina having come to and had her wand out, firing a laser that clashed with the SA-X's laser.

"Samus… NOW!" Rosalina yelled as Samus charged up her Plasma Beam.

"Sayonara… asshole." Samus said, firing the charged Plasma Beam as it struck the SA-X, sending it flying as Rosalina's laser also struck the SA-X, sending it careening into a wall. Without even hesitating, the two of them would also strike Nina, sending her careening into a different wall as they went into the nearby hatch and closed it where ROB would fire a laser to seal it up tight.

The Violet Wisp would get out of Blake as the latter fell on her knees, panting as she would look toward it. "Good timing…" She chuckled while Rosalina fell on her hands and knees, her breathing a bit labored.

"Easy now…" Samus said, slowly kneeling down as she deactivated her armor. "I think we deserve a break for a bit."

"Honestly…? I wholeheartedly agree…" Rosalina said before collapsing, where Samus would pick her up and planted herself against the wall and had Rosalina rest her head on her breasts.

Samus would then turn to Blake. "Hell of a show there…" She said with a chuckle as Blake let out a small giggle, then she rested her back on the opposite side of the wall, reaching for her scroll and pressed the record button.

"Hey… look who decided to show up." Blake smiled as the Violet Wisp happily danced around Blake before snuggling into her lap. "We had… a hell of an experience. All of us were cornered against the SA-X and this weird plant thing and we were about to get eaten.. In fact, Rosie got beaten up pretty good, not to mention she got eaten…

But, hey, this little guy made it and we got out okay. Rosalina's also fine!" Blake beamed, pointing the scroll to Rosalina who was still KO'd as Samus was holding her close, the latter waving at the scroll. "We might actually have a shot at making it out! Ridley better watch out… and so should Shou. Heh… there's hope!

In any case, I'm gonna sign off for now and rest a bit easily now that we have backup in the form of this little cutie. See you when I get back home… love you!"

She turned off the recording and placed the scroll next to her. "Haaaah…" She let out a soft sigh as Pikachu hopped into her lap and curled up. "Yeah… five minutes wouldn't hurt…" She said, closing her eyes.

Biologic Space Lab Video #9

"Alright, so I've talked about most of the Homunculi… so let's finish this. First off, we have Sloth. And it's… well, just what you think it is.

A lazy slow homunculus... however, the strength that comes off of this beast is something extraordinary. Like, it would make your average everyday strongman blush.

We put the homunculus inside an ordinary Galactic Federation soldier, and now he's very powerful. His physical strength could even rival Alex Armstrong himself! However, he's extremely sluggish and is seen walking like there's molasses in his legs. Because of this, he's seldom on missions. I think I heard he's suffering from depression because of this side effect.

But... it's a small price to pay for science.

Now, as for Lust, well... I touched upon Abigail, didn't I? The bounty hunter who has had enough of Samus's shenanigans? Yes, her. When we approached her with the Lust humonculus, she was all for it if it meant destroying Samus.

Not only did it power her up to immense strength... it... also enhanced her sex appeal. I have to say, it was not what I had mind. I don't know who was more surprised... Bradley or Abigail... or me. I didn't think it'd enhance that at all!

Oh, and speaking of Bradley... while he is a kind man, he had overlooked this homunculus experiment and requested he had one put inside of him, just to see what it'd do to him.

As you may have guessed, he has the Wrath humonculus inside of him. He's still a chipper man, but his combat prowess is off the charts!

I suppose it is to be expected as he is the main man in charge of the Federation..."

I was gonna add in the Nightmare fight in this, but I thought "Nah... i'll save that for the next chapter."
