NOW! I am still allowing PMing as long as it is RESPECTFUL! If you guys do anything like what those assholes did to me in the previous story, immediate block. No warning, nothing. Immediate block is what you get when you decide to be an asshole. Ahem, don't be afraid of lengthy comments, I tend to enjoy those the most and I do hope you all enjoy this story.
Thanks, now enjoy.
A WEEK LATER
"Brother," Kingu spoke as Ritsuka look through the files as they flew to I-Island. "Why do you no longer call on me for the nights you need something to distract you? Why call on others?'
'Because if word got out I am sleeping with my 'brother' so to say, it would be an even bigger nightmare," Ritsuka shot back as Skadi, ever the motherly one when Raikou wasn't around, shook her head. "And I will have you know I simply called on them to tell them what should and should not be done on the Island. Both for here and on Nabu Island."
"I despise your pencant for sleeping with your servants," she commented, flicking her hair back as Ritsuka sighed as he looked at the file of one Arata Fujiwara.
Who just so happened to be attending the Expo.
'He really is a thorn on my side and a pain in my ass,' he thought before flicking his eyes up to the goddess who raised a brow at him questioningly. "It's either sleeping with my servants, being dominated and overpowered or snorting void dust like a certain detective. Since alcohol is hidden from me."
"I am caring for your liver young man!"
"I guess I enjoy the euphoria of being lost in the sensation...besides women don't excite me and it's better not to have a scandal of me fucking many of my female heroes lest they call out abuse and trafficking." He moved to smooth his hair back as he thought back on the knights he would call and other male servants to pleasure him.
Always eager to serve and too take.
Like little puppies crowding around their master.
"Of course they would…" Skadi felt a headache. "Be careful. People may think that your-"
"A whore? Like I care. I was considered a slut because I slept with Romani when I was 17 when the HC first came before the invasion."
"Please...Don't mention that. I nearly took their heads off." Da Vinci ground out as she remembered the looks they gave Ritsuka when he revealed their relationship. "Honestly, no hearts."
"That's the point of the association," Sherlock commented. "I doubt they are even born with any."
"I want to go over positions once more," Ritsuka said trying to avert the conversation from his promiscuity. He walked up and down the aisles of the plane they sat in, each heroic spirit sitting down in a seat as if they were humans.
"Of course master." Holmes smiled as he leaned back.
"Due to the fear of the papers being spread a magical barrier will have to be erected to dampen their effects to be unusable unless touched," he began.
"Myself," Skadi, stood up. "Along with Tamamo and Castoria will hold the barrier up."
"Medea Lily, Irisveil and Paracelsus will help with mana deprivation that comes with such a spell," he jerked his head to the three who smiled in response. "While Murasaki and Scheherazade hold up a reality marble in place that makes the papers only force people to see memories as if their life flashes before their eyes and not erase anything."
"We will be using a large amount of Authority as authors…" the woman murmured. "And Mana…"
``That's why Willaim and Hans will be in the east and west respectively doing the same."
"Honestly," the child with a man's voice grunted as he knocked back another mug of beer.
"My personal escort for the preview and the party will consist of Waver, Merlin, Avicebron, Miss Crane and My brother because he won't leave me alone."
"Because you get in trouble no matter what!"
"Whatever," Ritsuka brushed off as his brother stewed in his seat.
"Why am I off the protection detail...I can't even be in your shadow," Edmond demanded, eyes flashing golden before it went down.
"I need you to work with King Hassan tonight and patrol the city," he explained. "We need eyes everywhere at the moment and we need to keep a certain distance between large groups of servants or the paper's might activate. Suppressing your magical energy at the moment is helping stockpile it up for the moment. You casters all have your supply of Mana Prisims?"
"10 each, it should last us the whole night should no unforeseen circumstances come,' Murasaki nodded. "And the others thought you crazy for stockpiling these for years."
"Their useful." He shrugged before Edmond interrupted, bristling as he was ignored.
"Then you should have brought the rest of the Hassashin," Edmond looked shocked.
"I'm already using more mana than I would like and it's not like we can get anymore right now," Rituska bit his lip. "So I'm conserving the best I can at the moment."
"...Very well."
"The few attending the preview before myself and my entourage will consist of Sieg, Geronimo, Voyager, Koyanskaya, Moriarty, Mozart, Miyu, Illyasviel and Nursery Rhyme," he motioned to the group. "If someone is coming to attack with the papers...use your magic of confusion to help with getting them out of their hands," he motioned to Nursery and Mozart.
"Right!"
"Everyone else will be focusing on walking around I Expo and attempting to find the papers."
"Understood!"
"Your first official Mission of the Case Files 2.0 is to find all of Class A-1 and get them the potion vials that will nullify the effects of the papers so they won't be affected," he barked. "Since the pins where taken away from them, they are more susceptible than if they had it."
"They risk being even more susceptible due to their involvement with the master."
"Correct," Ritsuka nodded to Merlin who smiled. "I hope we are all in agreement?"
"Yes!"
"Now...Let's finish this singularity before it begins!"
"RIGHT!"
I-ISLAND
David could only sigh as he looked over the message he received from Ritsuka concerning Toshi's surgery. They had agreed it would be best to speak to the man during I-Island to get his input in an agreement of the date and time.
Of course that was under the agreement that they would not try to convince him to come back to the world until the commission allowed it, meaning David had to speak to his friend before they even had the meeting.
"Pa...Papa," Melissa spoke, the man whittling around to see his daughter poking her head through. "I heard Ritsuka is about to be here...you had business to speak to him about right?"
"Yeah, me and Toshi do," he nodded, smiling as his daughter's face lit up. "I need to speak to Toshi about it first though."
"I'll go get him," Melissa offered.
"Okay, be careful. A lot of people from Chaldea are coming," he warned.
'I heard. A whole division of people," she gasped.
"Over 50," he nodded.
"I'll be careful," she promised before rushing out.
"It's going to be a rough I-Expo…."
"Pardon me...are you David Shield?" The man in question turned around to see another man dressed in a dress shirt and slacks approach him with an escort. "I've heard you've had some fighting with the director of chaldea?"
"Yes...though I would like to keep that confidential," David coughed, thinking back to his contract.
"Sorry. I'm Arata Fujiwara, a detective hoping to expose Chaldea for all the evil deeds they do. Abuse, extortion, lies and the like."
'Look, I get Chaldea is intense," David sighed. "I would rather not talk bad about my business partner. Besides...wasn't it all the media pushing that narrative? They haven't done most of what the people are accusing them of anyways."
"Please...I can tell you of an incident when the direcotr almost killed a child in UA," Arata begged.
"If your referring to the Kanakawa incident, the kid was expelled due to quirkest beliefs and saying racist things against the man at the time. I heard he went under an eval that showed he wound't save a quirkless child...look choking the kid was bad but he had no intention to kill him," David shook his head. "I have a friend in UA who confirmed the story for me. Besides, I need Ritsuka's help so I would rather not do anything like this."
'Sir please."
'Sorry, please lead him out," David brushed the detective off.
'Fucking Chaldea really do cover their tracks well,' he thought as he exited the building. 'But I still need something to pin them as not human...maybe the government experiment angle?'
I-ISLAND TARMAC
"LOOK! IT'S THEM!"
Melissa turned her head to the rather large plane that was deboarding, feeling her heart race increase at the large number of Chaldean heroes that disembarked on it.
"PLEASE, EVERYONE STAND BACK! DO NOT CROWD THE EXIT! THEY NEED TO GET CHECKED IN," the security yelled as they tried to push the reporters and heroes back as they screamed for the heroes to speak to them.
"Very loud," Skadi commented as she walked beside Sieg who nodded. "I was not expecting this reception upon our return to the public light."
"I would have thought we would have gotten no coverage at all," Marie, Caster Form, hummed as she looked around. "Surely things couldn't have gone that bad in the last 3 weeks."
"Rumors are they are desperate for our side again," Paracelsus stated as he walked up to them. "But I tend not to keep up with rumors after all," he shrugged, pushing his hair back before his eyes flicked to where the reporters and heroes where frantically attempting to try and speak to them.
"I doubt you even have a phone," Sieg raised a brow as the alchemist gave a bashful smile.
"Ah! Shield's girl," a familiar voice called as the girl shakily turned around to come face to face with the towering figure of the Onmyoji Hero: Ashiya Douman. "Master has said he wished to speak with you later tonight," he grinned, leaning down to be eye to eye with her.
"R...Right," she nodded, stepping back, feeling oppressed by his unusual and unnatural aura that he exuded.
"Clown," Goetia growled as he approached. "Leave the girl alone and come back to the group. You doing whatever you want is giving master a headache."
'I am merely making things go as smoothly as possible," he shrugged, pouting as Goetia snarled at him before jerking his head back to the group.
'Go you worthless Onmyoji," he waned, the other sneering at the jab before walking away. "Good to see you again."
"R...right…" she stuttered before he moved to head off. "Um!...Is...Is Ritsuka going to be at the party tonight?"
He stopped and the reporters seemingly did so as well.
"Come with me, and I will answer," he sighed. "If I give you one now you'll be swamped," he glowered at the people around them who stepped back.
'Um...right," she nodded, following him into the mesh of Chaldean heroes who continued their conversations completely ignoring her.
"Oya," a sweet voice caught Melissa's ear and she turned only to become awed at the sight of the Fashion Icon Miss Crane! "And who is this darling girl?" Her head was cocked to the side as she assessed her, eyes curious as they flicked to the man beside her.
"Shield's daughter. She has something to ask of master," Goetia brushed off.
"I'm afraid you've missed your chance. Master has left for his rooms to rest before the party tonight," she hummed, slamming her staff onto the ground. "After all, it has been a long flight."
"Hmm."
"Well I really was only wondering if he was coming to the party tonight," Melissa coughed, moving to rub the back of her neck. "Thanks for getting me out of the reporters."
"Of course," Goetia nodded before leaving.
'Tch! Leaving a girl by herself when you drag her here! No class," Crane grunted before turning to Melissa with a smile. "I'll help you get away from those vultures. You're heading to the party tonight too right," she cocked her head to the side.
"Yes!"
'Well then, how about we all meet in the Lobby of our hotel? I'll be Masters escort along with a few others for the night," she smiled.
"A...are you sure it's alright to make plans without Ritsuka knowing," Melissa coughed.
"He needs something more to do than sulk around, lest he become like his brother," she said to Kingu who growled as flipped her off. "Case and point."
"Ye..yeah," she nodded, smiling as they were led to an empty hanger.
"Until later tonight." The woman inclined her head and walked away, leaving Melissa in a bit of a daze before she shook out of her stupor and rushed to go to the other hanger.
"I need to find Uncle Might!"
"What the hell are we supposed to do with these?"
"Spread those papers around the Expo. Supposedly looking at them or touching them while reading it's words will make the person go mad and they won't have control over themselves."
"Then why aren't we mass producing these?!"
"They are hard to create, even harder to make into a condensed version like the papers you have," All for One hummed. "Chaldea made it clear that these papers are dangerous and have hidden it from the public. They didn't want the trouble these things could cause to get out...I think it's no better time than to put it out."
'Makes sense...Chaldea ended my contract with Shield and now I'm out of a job...I'm in this for revenge. If I can take them down as well...then it's all the better.``
'Good...don't take those papers and spread them around during your little hostage stint. The rest of your items will be in Hanger 66, arriving at 3 PM. Don't forget them or the papers."
"On it."
"And make sure to cause All Might pain with your little...reveal."
"Oh...I plan too."
"Good."
"I also have something else I require you to do. For extra pay as well."
'Oh, and what is that?"
"I want you to bring me Fujimaru. I am tired of drawing this little game of cat and mouse out longer than needed. He's a thorn that I intend to pull out now."
"I heard that he was supposed to be left alone for the time being-"
"Do you think I give a damn about what my own subordiantes think," All for One demanded as his hired front man stilled. "They are MY subordinates and I am done with them calling the shots. I am the one that calls the shot and I want him gone."
"He's not one to be taken off guard from what I have heard."
'He's quirkless. Should be easy with the quirk you have, as well as the little machine you'll be taking."
"Right...Well then I'll let them know."
"Rought him up as well," All For One called before he left. "I want him to know what it means to go against me."
"Right, I'll make sure to pay him in full for what he did."
The I-island festival -as the whole debacle of combined events was just too complicated for proper classification- was in full swing, and Ritsuka began making his rounds to see just what was on offer. People and children alike watched him as he walked through the Plaza after deciding a detour was needed instead of heading into his room.
His ever faithful guard, Count, was only a few steps behind him, ready to intercept anything that might pose a threat. Ritsuka was also keeping vigilant over the mental link with his Servant's, waiting for the first call of trouble that was no doubt to occur even before the preview that night. .
As it turned out however, trouble was already looking for him.
It was to be expected after all, he did have a habit of drawing it toward him no matter the circumstance.
A faint scowl played across the Chaldean director's lips as he spotted a certain aggravating detective slipping through the crowds and heading directly for him. And with so many people around, he couldn't utilize force to be rid of said annoyance, so he simply braced himself for what was coming. A fake smile formed as the detective reached him.
"Ah, detective. What a pleasant surprise to see you here." He spread his arms in a way that made it seem he expected a hug, getting attention for a moment before they realized who it was who was speaking. Ritsuka took great delight in Arata's face turning into a scowl before he realized he couldn't do such a thing.
The detective snorted. "Didn't your mother ever teach you it isn't nice to lie?"
Ritsuka shrugged. "Perhaps, but she also told me not to associate with assholes who have a death-wish." he quipped in response, a none-too-subtle insult directed at the detective. "Usually...after she beat me for being a freak...all at 14."
Edmond jolted as his master revealed the abuse that he suffered at the hands of his parents, the things were no secret to Chaldea as their shared memories made such things null. But to say it to a man who's been a thorn in their sides for the last month…
It seemed to work in throwing him off though as he stumbled forwards with eyes wide as he saw no lie in the face of Fujimaru Ritsuka.
"Hmm, makes me wonder why you choose to keep so many as company in your organization." He coughed, looking at Ritsuka who merely cracked his neck with ease.
Count felt the serious urge to press the smoldering end of his cigar into the detective's eye-socket.
His screams would be nice, but him being out of commission for a week would be even sweeter.
But then again that would help him prove a point and he was nothing if not stubborn.
"So, what exactly do you want to say to me this time? Insult my sense of fashion perhaps?" He motioned to his rather extravagant 18th century inspired suit with a small train on it. "Or maybe displaying an act of homophobia is more to your liking?" He asked, knowing the bastard had seen him kissing Castor before leaving the Tarmac to head off to the hotel.
He chuckled. "I don't dislike you based on your sexual preferences, I just dislike you because of who you are and what you represent."
Ritsuka raised a brow. "That being my representation of old-age heroism in present society? Or is it something else?"
"The dysfunctional army of so-called 'heroes' you command are a stigma from a bygone age. Every hero under your employ serves as little more than a mocking caricature of the 'real' heroes they emulate. Whether they are genuine articles or just facsimiles, they are leaving an ugly stain on the legends they represent."
"What do you know of anything...I doubt your boss," he mocked. "Tells you a damn thing about what we really are."
"He gave me an idea."
"And I seriously doubt your idea of what we are is anywhere near the truth. I get we had no need to thrust ourselves into the limelight but in the end that's the only option we had," Ritsuka flicked his hair back as he crossed his arms.
"Well you seemed pretty gung ho about going down on your heroes who seem to not care about public decency and are ready to-"
"Silence," Ritsuka barked, Arata falling silent at the barked command with a curse.
"Why should I?" he scoffed. "In the end all of you are nothing but fakes that want to try and change the world-"
"Not anymore. Our ideals of changing the world are null at the moment. We just want to go home," Ritsuka looked so lost in the moment before he straightened up.
"How about you get lost in the blood and death you revel in-"
"Watch. Your. Tongue." Ritsuka had his hackles raised as he truly glowered upon the man. "I do not revel in blood and death. I have seen too much of it and know its weight. Much like everyone else here."
"Hit another nerve, did I?" Arata smiled as he shrugged. "There is a reason why we don't go around killing criminals with impunity anymore. It was archaic. A flawed system that we managed to correct. Humanity has evolved past those dark days, yet you seem to take joy in getting lost in the past."
"Indeed we do. But sometimes you must know that the past helps lead toward the future. You think you might have corrected it but I am merely showing you that not all minds are one. And while our original plan was to...change things per say. That's no longer the case. We have our own agenda that has nothing to do, good or bad, with you all," Ritsuka stared at him down.
"Your lot may have been heroes once, but that is no longer the case. You're nothing but a horde of ugly monsters, one I fully intend on putting an end to." He hissed, stepping forward before stilling at the demon eyes Count sported once more.
"At least call us pretty," Ritsuka pouted before dropping the face. "You know nothing of real monsters. I have seen the ones in monster and human form. And I dare say that humans are the most...monstrous. And most of the people I employ...haven't been human either ever or in a long, long time."
"I will tear you all down."
"You really think you can do that? Don't you think you should get yourself some help from AFO? You might stand a chance that way." the fact his words were so sincere...he wanted to kill the other man.
He shook his head and turned to leave. "The one who kills monsters must always be a human, otherwise there is no point to it."
"I advise you to take your own advice," Ritsuka called out. "Because you will find that your own anger is blinding you and the real monster is not what you perceive it to be. Trust me."
"Fuck you!"
"What is he doing! He's provoking the director!"
"Ah! He's going to be so mad when heroes bring back coming back into the heroic circle!"
"Someone! Go and get him! We can't have Fujimaru in a bad mood during the opening party!"
"I don't get why people even want you back,' he snarled.
"Hmm, Ritsuka shrugged before moving to walk away. 'Then you best do your research," he winked.
It was silent as he left, the mass of people feeling anxious as the detective watched him grow smaller and smaller in the distance.
I-ISLAND MALL
"Hey...Is that," Mina gasped as she pointed in front of her.
"No way!" Shouji gasped from where they all were. "It is him!"
"Asclepius! Heya! Ascelipus," Mina cried, waving her hands frantically as the Chaldean hero was walking down the street opposite of them. He stopped and turned to them, eyes widening as he caught sight of them before he seemingly vanished into thin air and appeared in front of the group. "WOAH!"
"Mina? Correct," he asked with a cock of his head as his companion jumped over to the other side.
"Come now Ascelipus," the young girl sighed. 'Don't do that!"
"Sorry Lily," he sighed, turning to Mina who beamed up at him.
"You remember my name," she gasped happily, clapping her hands and the rest of the group looked at the exiles in awe.
"Of course. It was merely a few months ago during the USJ incident," he sighed as the girl, Lily, smiled. "And I don't have such horrid memory as some other people."
"Ah! You're the ones he yelled at," she giggled before yelping at his pinch on her arm. "Sorry, sorry," she smiled, turning to head off. "I will meet you later! I am sure you want to talk to them!"
'Wah...you," he growled as she skipped off, his eyes flicking to the anxious students. "Look, I am sorry for yelling at you and forcing you to hurt those men," he crossed his arms. "I am not sure what they told you, but under such duress I had no choice but to order you to hurt them."
"Oh...yeah," Mina swallowed as she remembered the screams the men gave off as she hit them with her acid. She had been berated and given detention for that incident. "I...It's alright-"
"I heard you were punished for my actions," he commented as she jolted. "And I am sorry that you had to deal with that."
'Um..it wasn't too bad. I was only given a lecture and detention-"
"I am sorry...but I hope you understand that things were bad and that by doing that you bought enough time for everyone to escape," he explained. "Even if I was there to help stall them and even incapacitate them, it wouldn't have been enough. Lord knows that deposition I had to do infront of the commission was hell…" he grumbled, shaking his head as he thought back to that time.
'I...I mean yeah,'' she gave a nervous laugh before yelping as his snake, who looked real this time, stopped right in front of her and gave out a soft hiss. Its tongue licked her nose like it was trying to reassure her.
"Fidi," he warned, the snake coming back to him before he sighed. "Here," he handed them something. "Take this, there should be enough for everyone here."
Mina took a a box, opening it curiously to see some small vials and looked at it's strange liquid curiously.
"Wh...what is this," she whispered, picking one up to see it change color in the light as she turned it around in her hand.
'Something bad is going to happen tonight," he warned, the 5 students stepping back at his tone. "Chaldea has known of this attack, but up until now we haven't been able to investigate or go out in the open about it." he shrugged like it couldn't have been helped, and most likely it couldn't have been.
"Why are you telling us," Shouji demanded. "Why only us and not the whole Island! They deserve to know-"
"Because what is going to happen is not going to be kind to anyone. Young, old, man or woman," he hissed. "The older heroes won't listen to us, too concerned with bringing us back...though our Director has taken us in our first mission of the operation to find all of A-1 here and give them this," he motioned to the vial.
"What,' Tooru gasped. "Fujimaru-sensei-?"
"Believe it or not he does care for you a lot," he smiled lightly. "It's just that it was hard for him to show it during his time at UA."
"Well...well Izuku, Todoroki, Bakugou, and Iida are in the preview! They even got tickets to the pre opening party! Kirishima too!"
"Ooh! Momo, Jiro and Ochako are there too!'
"Denki managed to nab a spot working so he'll be there!"
"Thank you. I'll relay the info," he murmured, patting them on their heads. "What about Shinso? He should be here since we bought him a ticket as well?"
"You guys really cared for him," Mina commented. "But he decided not to come. He got a call from Fujimaru-Sensei…"
"Of course he would tell him not to come...I forgot," he shook his head. "Take the prescribed dose, and get to safety when things get to hell."
"Right!"
He watched as they rushed off to go to the cafe they planned to head to before he appeared, shaking his head he removed the images of the Argo from long ago. Now was not the time for reminiscing.
He had to set up some traps as well as report to Master.
VILLIAN ATTRACTION
"Impressive…" Waver hummed as he and Tamamo entered the villain attraction, gaining more attention. "They are as impressive as Master said...if a bit head strong."
"Tch...he's a cutie at least," Tamamo motioned to Kirishima who pointed to himself before she waved to him.
"Honestly, he's a child," he grunted, moving to light his cigar that was suddenly ripped out of his hand.
"This is a no smoking area! I don't know who you are but smoking in an area reserved for potential heroes is against the rules here," Tenya barked out as Izuku and Momo tried to stop him.
'Ahahah! Seems were such recluses he doesn't know we're Chaldean Heroes," Tamamo laughed as Iida went still.
"Not my fault that I prefer being alone," he growled to the fox who shrugged and smiled at the mass of students. "Do not ignore me!"
"Yeah, yeah," she brushed off, jumping down to grin at all the students. "Well! These are some of the most premier class A students!"
"Tamamo," Waver roared as he took back his cigar from the bowing Iida who he waved off. "Tch! Bring them up woman! We need to speak with them anyway!"
"Huh, you do," Kirishima asked, cocking his head to the side as Tamamo motioned her head to follow them.
"Where is Denki," Waver asked as he pocketed his cigar. "We need him here as well."
'Huh...how'd you know that-"
"Not the time," Waver snapped before he softened his voice. "We don't have much time, we need to explain and then get back to the rest." He looked up as the boy in question approached.
"Yes, yes," the woman huffed, watching as Kirishima and Denki fist bumped. "Something is going to happen. We've been investigating a little leak that Chaldea had a few months before we shut down. All Evidence shows they'll be here and release something….nasty to the people. This will protect you from the worst of its effects," she brought a small box out with tiny vials.
"How do we know you're not trying to poison us," Bakugou demanded, glaring at the woman who pouted.
'Master is devious, I will give him that but he hates hurting children for the sake of hurting them. Any time he did so was a way to train you all," she protested, handing out the vials. "We are serious about this. Our first mission was to hand this out to the Classmates of A-1. Other students from other schools may be here but the people are targeting anyone from UA in fear they have a intense connection to Master."
``Is that why Shinso was told not to come to the Island," Izuku suddenly said.
"So that's why master was talking about extra precautions. Shinso would be the most affected by the attack later today," Waver sighed, placing a hand on his head. "Take the vials. All you need is a single dose, it should last you the entire time. Unless you over exert yourself."
'The hell do you mean by that," Bakugou demanded.
"We have no time to explain," Waver snapped, glowering at the boy with one to match his own. "Take the vials and we'll hopefully have this all figured out in the morning."
"Hopefully...but knowing our luck," Tamamo sighed.
"No need to remind me," Waver snapped. "Until later...and Melissa. Master will meet you in the lobby."
'R...Right," the girl nodded, the others confused at her look before they watched the two heroes rush off. "How about we head off to find somewhere to speak about the party?"
"Right…" the groupd nodded, each grabbing a vial to take when they went to the cafe Deneki said was empty.
LATER THAT NIGHT, PREVIEW BANQUET
So many humans," Koyanskaya beomaned as she flapped her fan in her hand dressed in her old Chinese Lostbelt attire. "Uugh, I wanna vomit."
'Your not like that with the staff of Chaldea." Sieg noted grabbing a flute of champagne from the star struck waiters as he watched the four children sit in the corner and play some UNO. "Where did they get that?"
"Gift shop," Moriarty smiled as he came forward. "I provided the funds, but they are young yet. This is a stuffy event," he winked.
"I hate Voyagers second ascension," Koyanskaya huffed as she angrily flattered her fan. "In love with a rose…" she scoffed.
"He has no control over the beings his been infused with," Mozart smiled as he swept his fur cape to the side, dressed in his old formal attire from the first Chaldean ball that happened before any of them...even Nursery Rhyme who joined during London, very early on too. "I say we enjoy ourselves for now!" He eagerly clapped his hands before sighing. 'How I wish Salieri was here! We'd have a joyous time!"
"How can you just act like that," the fox asked as Moriarty went about getting another drink.
"I know when to be a spider and then I know when to be a butterfly," he winked before his eyes snapped to the person on the small stage asking for All Might.
Honestly…
"Something is wrong," Geronimo murmured, the other Chaldean's tense as they looked around the area.
"It's starting...I don't sense the papers…" Moriarty murmured before an announcement came on. "Oh Dear…"
Just then the doors opened up and men with masks, guns and other weapons entered, pointing them at the scared patrons.
"But of course," Koyanskaya sighed. "Chaldea's Curse."
Well...she wasn't wrong.
"Kiddos! Jump," Moriarty yelled just as the Hero Restraints began to shoot out.
The kids did so with ease, Voyager using his sword to slash through them while Seig and Geronimo did the same. Koyanskaya slashed through them with ther fan scowl on her face as she tried to keep her beast side in.
"Damn...Chaldeans," the leader growled as they saw the 9 of them not in restraints.
"I can try again boss."
"I won't work...but this will," he smirked, pointing his gun at one of the children who stepped back.
"Miyu!" An albino girl gasped as she saw the gun.
'One wrong move and she gets it," he warned.
"It was a mistake to bring Miyu," Moriarty murmured. "Kuro would have been better in this situation," he ground out.
"She would have made everyone uncomfortable," Sieg scoffed.
"Hand over those weapons!"
Damn…
Meanwhile David was shaking as he looked over to Sam who glowered at him. Then in his head he heard the single phrase Ritsuka always spoke to him regarding his contract between the two of them.
"I never break a Contract. Bad Luck."
Bad luck indeed…
HOTEL LOBBY
"Hey guys! You made it," Melissa gasped as she jogged in, ignoring Denki's dying animal sounds as the others fiddled with their outfits. "I guess Mr. Fujimaru is the last to come."
"Man...it'a gonna be weird to see our former teacher again who basically is...exccoumincated I think," Denki spoke up.
"Exiled is the more appropriate term, but I see my teachings have stuck with you Kaminari," Ritsuka commented as he entered the lobby with his escort.
"Ah! So this is the one you had the authors make special books for," Merlin commented as he slammed his staff on the ground.
"Don't tease him. He needs specialized help but that damned school is insistant on not treating him properly," Waver grunted. "I had my own student like that and sometimes it takes just one."
"Indeed," Miss Crane smiled as her orante Kimono awed the girls around. (3rd ascension)
'Is...is that a moon," Jiro asked as Uraraka stared at the wings.
"It meant a lot to me that you did that. My grades have seriously gone up," Denki bowed as Frujimaru sensei nodded before he turned to Iida.
"How is Tensei? I've been meaning to follow up on him after we helped him with the hero killer," he cocked his head to the side.
"My brother is fine...he's been on leave due to taking part in the protests to stop the investigations on you," Tenya swallowed.
The argument between him and his parents was...intense to say the least.
"I told him it was no bother," Ritsuka sighed. "That man honestly."
"He was always a righteous one," Kingu shrugged. "Isn't that why you offered him medical assistance to see if he was hurt during the Stain confrontation?"
Izuku looked to his former teacher as he and his adoptive brother squabbled with one another, noting his very Chaldean attire that consisted of a very modern coat with the two diamonds on the neck, black gloves and white modernized pants that matched his top. He had an over cape that was opened on the front and draped to the floor making it seem more ornate that it in reality was...it looked put together...expect for a few things.
On his left wrist was a deep blue and gold bracelet that shone in the artificial light. Under his collar was a deep blood red sash that looked singed on it's edges. Over was a muffler that was brown instead of the white or black he donned. A pocket-watch he pulled out to check the time that had a small frog etched onto it.
"Master," Avicebron sighed as he pointed to his waist. "What is that?"
"Hell no," Waver snapped. 'You brought an alcohol gourd with you?"
'Come now," the man waved his hands. "I'm used to stronger stuff than they will be serving-"
'Does Moriarty know that Oda gave that to you," Crane hummed as the director choked a little.
"That man switched my wine out from pomegranate and grape juice! I want tonight to be fun at least," the director hissed as he clutched the gourd tight.
Whe he did so he noticed something...glowing purple in his back pocket and Izuku froze when he sensed an eye on him. His eyes went to his former teachers backpocket but the feeling vanished when he did so.
"Th...that is highly unprofessional to bring alcohol from the outside," Iida began to rant before an alarm went off.
"Great," the Chaldeans sighed.
"Bomb threat," Ritsuka scoffed as he crossed his arms and allowed the metal sutters to close around them. "I doubt that. This is more invasion than bomb threat."
"Your right," Melissa nodded before Ritsuka sighed.
'And all the internet is down...because they aren't stupid," Ritsuka rolled his eyes. He grabbed a small little mic on his lapel and spoke. "North, South, East, West. Release Authority around the Island. Three Healers, begin Mana configuration of leftover authority. Skadi. Castoria. Tamamo, begin," he barked.
"We best get to the party and see what's happening," Avicebron commented. "It's the only way to know for sure if we can be of help and if we are truly unseen."
"This is a new lobby that's undergoing renovations because the old cameras where outdated...I don't think they would have seen us," Waver commented, looking around. "I looked it up on the computer, so we should be safe and the doors here have yet to be inputted into the computer if there used. Ground level to level 20."
"He's right!" Melissa nodded. "So we are safe from for about ground floor to 20. Even the listening devices have'n't been implemented."
"Let's go contact our people in the party. All Might and our heroes," Merlin smiled. "Reminds me of back in the day."
'Shut it Merlin," the collective sighed as they moved to leave.
'Why me!" He demanded as they got to the door that lead to the staircase.
"Locked," Ritsuka rolled his eyes before rearing his leg back and kicking at it with such force it ripped off it's hinges. "Let's go."
'Dan teach your sure strong!"
'I've always been strong Deneki I just never used it to the full capability," he commented. "I have no need," he smiled.
"You have a lot of trust in your people," he smiled back. "That's really cool!"
"Indeed I do...there," he spoke, looking over the catwalk that loomed over the party unseen. "The stubby man…" he growled.
"Sam," Melissa gasped. "No...but-"
"This is more complicated than you think Melissa...now I am using my Authority. As of right now we are not on hiatus but full acting heroes in this moment," Ritsuka nodded. "We'll need to get to central command and bring the systems back on our side and stop the villains from getting what they want."
'Papa," melissa gasped as the leader, no doubt, grabbed her father and pushed him out of the room with Sam following. Both had a gun to their backs but with the knowledge their teacher gave, it seemed to be an act.
"Waver. Merlin. Miss Crane. I am expecting you to help these students when the time comes," Ritsuka barked, the students in question jolting in shock as their teacher said so.
"Teach?"
"I am authorizing you and any other heroic student we come across to work with us on this particular mission, after everything is said and done that authorization is null and void. Understood?"
"Understood," the nodded.
"Good. Now Jirou, Izuku. We need to explain to All Might our plan."
"What do you need us to do?"
All Might was tempted to rely on Chaldea.
Very tempted.
But the people here we shady at best, if the old man and the very...alluring fox women where anything to go by.
He could only watch helplessly as they threatened the children of some of the Chaldean Heroes, the actual heroes having nothing they could do to stop such a bullet from killing the scared girl and her companion.
What to do…
A glint caught his eye.
He looked up and felt both fear and relief as he caught sight of his protege next to his worst enemy, barring All For One of course.
Ritsuka Fujimaru.
His protege made a motion to speak, Jirou popping up with a thumbs up and he understood.
"Villains have overtaken the entire Island. They took Dave and they plan to keep everyone hostage until something they want is retrieved."
Izuku relied the information back to Ritsuka who nodded before staring at All Might and then flicking his eyes to his Heroes. His eyes went back to him for a moment before he smirked and gave a cheeky wink.
What?
Behind him more Chaldean heroes appeared and seeming conversed with the children before they made some hand symbols to the other Chaldean heroes who answered back without much though as they simply looked up for a moment, head thrown back as they looked like they tried to gain there bearings.
They know how to act.
All Might looked back up to see the director take his infamous pin off his neck and pin it to Izuku.
No…
His foolish, foolhardy and amazing protege nodded to him before rushing off, Ritsuka watched him before turning back a worried All Might.
He gave a softer smile before patting the rail like he would All Might.
He could only hope that they worked well together...and that he had enough time.
SERAPHIX, AT THE SAME TIME
"I don't like this," Galahad grumbled as they walked through Seraphix with relative ease. Nothing was stopping, blocking or preventing them from going deeper and deeper into the complex as even the security and cameras had been shut off.
"Of course, but in the end Fujimaru knew that we were coming so I consider it a blessing," his master smiled as they came across the first road block.
"A pin pad," he hummed as Galahad grabbed his shoulder, pushing him behind as he readied to punch it down.
'I would rather you not' a certain AI's voice rang through the facility as Galahad groaned.
A flash of light told them the monitor behind them came to life and they turned to see the sadistic smile of BB greet them.
"Hello Shielder! My day has been positively ruined now that I have seen your face."
"Good for you. My week has been ruined," he spat as his master grabbed his arm.
"Galahad!"
"I hate that woman!
'I'm an AI," she shot back snidely before hitting a button. The door they were previously facing hissed behind them before opening up to the cryo chamber. "Heal them up and get them back to operation! We need all Heroic Spirits on stand by at the moment. Especially since we have...speculation as to what is working with All for One."
"We have our own feelings as well," the man murmured.
"I had the suspicion...and you," BB warned. "Don't do anything funny."
"I would never," he gasped just before she gave an unimpressed look, making a show of hitting the button before the screen went black. "Honestly!"
"Come on. I have the mana needed to heal them all," Galahad urged his master. "Let's get them back and then we can go after the Borgia Siblings and Barca."
"Mashu will want to speak with me...they think I am dead…"
"Technically you are...but I guess you'll still want to speak with them?"
"If you wouldn't mind," he shrugged.
"Well...only if you keep your promise you made to that man a few weeks ago."
"I always intended to keep that," he smirked as they entered the cool room.
"So he really wasn't joking," that voice had Wodime turning from where Galahad began healing up the staff to the door where two people stood.
"Kadoc,' Wodime smiled at the man who was leaning against the frame of the door. He took in a breath as he tried to come to terms with what was before him. "Pepe." The purple haired man merely sighed.
"I told you it'd be fine to call me by my real name," he sighed. "Why hide?"
"Because...I was afraid in the end," he coughed, looking to the side with a blush. "I...guess that I am not what I think I am either," he admitted.
"Your existence is not what you think it is...or you don't know what to classify what your existence is," he asked, staring down at Women who shrugged.
"I don't really question it, I just want to help him in any way that I can while ensuring that no one in this world is hurt."
"Kinda hard when they gave us all a hard time when we first came," Pepe sighed. "Our hate is not without prejudice you know, Wodime."
"I...heard rumors," he coughed.
'It wasn't pleasant by any means," Pepe placed a hand on his cheek. "This world has a lot of ugliness, I dare say that sometimes it might match ours in some regards."
"Tch. I hate everyone here, I especially hate some heroes here," Kadoc grunted as he crossed his arms. "They acted so high and mighty when they saved us and found out we where…'quirkless' and expected us to praise them like the sun comes out of their as-"
'Ah, ah," Pepe scolded the boy. "No cursing as they are all waking up."
'They tried to take them away from us when they found out, I hate them," Kadoc hissed.
"What," Wodime asked as Galahad moved to his old vessel.
"Ah...about that…make no mistake, we hold no conceptions we are perfect. Far from it, violence is just in our nature now," Pepe began. "But the Hero World of this world really doesn't like people stirring up the pot...even if it's only a thought by some people who suddenly appeared."
"Meaning?"
"Meaning the IHCWWP has some skeletons with us that are currently holding over their heads just to get funding I'm afraid."
"Huh," Wodime was very confused.
'It's quite the story I am sure that our director will want to hear," Pepe smiled as Goredolf arose from his Cryostasis.
"Wh...I'm alive," he breathed.
"Indeed. We have much to talk about...especially concerning our cutie Fujimaru," his voice dropped an octave and they all understood.
This was grave.
