World 2-Secret - Sneak Peak - Watch For Falling Warios
BGM: Mt. Lava Lava (Wario Land: Shake It!)
"Oh, more of this volcanic rock." Umber said, noticing boulders rolling into the lava. "…With a lot more boulders."
"Bah, nothing we can't handle." Wario rolled his shoulders. "Let's-a go!" He said said they walked through, jumping over some lava as Nyx would then hop out of the Warp Pipe shortly after.
"…Oh. More of this." Nyx said and then notice everyone was up ahead. She would quickly run after them, jumping over lava and quickly caught up to them.
"Hmm?" Jade turned her head to her. "Oh hey, you alright?"
"Yeah… kinda." Nyx responded, rubbing her head.
Xena patted Nyx on the back. "It's gonna be okay…" She said as they walked through, dodging boulders while also taking out any Banderninos and Volcannons in the way, then Walugi would discover a hidden passage as he crawled through it and then found himself a chest as he opened it up… to discover a chestnut.
"Wah?" Waluigi wondered.
Extra-Nutty Chestnut: Some chestnuts just come out a little nuttier than the others.
"Eh, not my thing." Waluigi said, tossing it behind him where it landed in the lava as he hopped up on some platforms to reunite with the others, and then as they walked, several boulders came rolling toward them but Wario, along with Mona would proceed to punch the boulders to shatter them on impact as they would continue on, then they wandered into a cave as Wario and Mona would continue to shatter boulders that got in their way, including the bigger kind.
"Man, these two are so in sync, it's almost scary." Iris said.
"Yup, but hey, at least we don't have to worry about getting crushed!" Sarge pointed out as they would see a stone block lying inside the ground, causing Wario to get an idea as he jumped up and proceeded to ground pound it, which in turn, caused it to break and made him fall into more stones.
"…We might want to go down with him." Waluigi said.
"Why's that?" Anthony asked.
"Well, given that he's going down at terminal velocity… I'd say the impact would cause the top of this cave to cave in."
"Well, you heard the purple street pole! Women first!" Sarge said.
"Purple street pole?" Waluigi raised an eyebrow.
Down below…
"BUTT SMASH!" Wario yelled, slamming into the ground and destroying any Bandernino and Volcannon that was nearby, as the whole cave shook as a result, then saw Xena landing on the ground and then telekinetically broke everyone's fall.
"Good job, now you've trapped us all in the cave in." Nyx sarcastically said.
"Ah, we'll find a different way out." Wario waved it off as they walked a little ways before finding a treasure chest as Wario greedily pulled out… a stone mask. "Eh? Heheheh!" Wario put it on. "How do I look?"
"You look ridiculous." Waluigi said.
"You look like you're ready to headbutt someone." Mona grinned.
"Looking at it closely… it kinda resembles a hockey mask…" Zoey mused.
Stone Hockey Mask: A really heavy hockey mask. Let's see that puck get through this!
"I feel like I could scare a dog with this mask." Wario said.
"Eh, needs to be a little more ridiculous." Waluigi waved it off.
"Good point." Wario agreed, taking it off. "Besides, I don't even play hockey that much." He said, tossing it behind him as they continued on where they wandered out of the cave, and soon found themselves in a Donkey Kong-like area where Mona and Wario proceeded to bash more boulders in their way.
One larger boulder was punched hard enough to send it rolling into a rock wall, where they discovered the last treasure chest as Mona's eyes widened and quickly ran after it with the others following her, and when they got to the chest, Mona opened it up and her eyes sparkled.
"Oooooh! Shiny~!" Mona smiled as she picked it up. "Oh! Oh! Ow ow ow ow ow! Hot hot hot hooooot!" She yelped, dropping the shiny object into the ground. They would notice that the object in question was embued in blue fire.
Saphfire: A rare gem enrobed in blue flame. Pretty, but uncomfortable to wear as jewelry.
Xena smiled. "We know a way to get rid of that." She said as she called out Screamy from her Pokeball.
"Quaaaaag!" Screamy cried… but to their surprise, Damp didn't even put a dent into the flames.
"Huh?!" Xena said in shock.
"That's… new."
"I wonder if it's enchanted…" Iris said. "It would explain why Screamy's ability isn't working on this."
"Aww… I can't even wear it…" Mona pouted.
"Quaaag…" Screamy pouted.
"Aw, don't feel bad. You at least tried!" Xena smiled, hugging the Pokemon as it hugged back in gratitude before going back in its ball, then they found the Merfle up at the top and Xena sent him back to the Sweet Stuff, then they found another Golden Warp Pipe, where they would all jump in.

World 2-Secret 2 - Lowdown Depths - Run Like The Wind!
The group jumped out as they walked into a cave… and found the Merfle locked in the cage. "Wow! That was easy!" Mona smiled.
"You said it!" Wario nodded as they approached it.
"…I've got a bad feeling. This feels too easy." Anthony said.
"Yeah… and I'm not liking it." Jen agreed, readying her pistol as Waluigi, Camrin and Chloe approached Mona and Wario.
"Maybe we ought to take this out of here." Camrin said.
"Nonsense!" Mona grinned, quickly destroying it with Wario… aaaand then the floor gave way.
"…Oh boy." Waluigi said as all five of them fell into a slope and they all slid down.
BGM: Lowdown Depths (Wario Land: Shake It!)
"Aaaand there it is." Iris said as the floor reappeared in front of them.
"Come on, let's go!" Umber said. "We'll probably meet them at the bottom!"
"Right!" Nyx nodded as they climbed the ledge and took off, while down below, the five of them landed in a Max Fastosity Dasherator and one by one, they started running nonstop.
"Waaaaaaah! Why can't my legs stop?!" Waluigi cried out.
"The exercise is good for ya!" Wario said.
He's one to talk! Mona thought as they ran ahead together, mowing down Banderninos and Pitchforks that got in their way. Camrin would use his speed to slid through some stone blocks and immediately grabbed the treasure chest, but since he was running full speed, the chest went with him!
"Guess I'll open this at the other side!" He exclaimed as Chloe would quickly do acrobatic jumps and then used her halberd to pole vault over a spike pit and landed on top of a Bandernino.
Mona, meanwhile, ran outside as she grabbed a Bandernino and, without even slowing down, she threw it at a Golden Bandernino, causing it to slam into a wall and explode into treasure where Mona would screech to turn around and then ran back to collect the treasure as she then turned back and ran back in, all the while Waluigi jumped on platforms and crashed through metal boxes, nabbing himself a second treasure, but like Camrin, he unwittingly picked up the whole chest.
"Waaaah! Not what I had in miiiiind!" Waluigi exclaimed, his momentum not even slowing down as he caught up with everyone where they would jump through platforms and Mona would turn around and smash through metal blocks and grabbed the treasure chest.
"Woooooo! We get to open all three at once!" Mona beamed cheerfully.
"I swear, it's the adrenaline that's making you run and carry such a heavy chest!" Chloe said as they ran over more Banderninos.
Up ahead…
"Hey, is that them?" Jade asked.
"Make way, coming through!" Wario ran past them.
"Heavy load coming through!" Waluigi said.
"Excuse me, pardon me, out of my way!" Camrin said.
"Weeeeeeee!" Mona whizzed past them.
"What took you guys so long?" Chloe teased as she ran past them.
"…Oooor we can just wait for them to show up." Sarge said.
"Goodness! What was that all about?" The Merfle wondered as they walked after them where the five runners came to a stop once they exited the cave.

"Haaaa… haaaaah… haaaaaaaaah… I think I've done my running for… the rest of my life…" Waluigi panted, falling on his hands and knees.
"Woo, what a rush!" Wario grinned, high fiving the others.
"Alright, what did you guys get?" Umber asked.
"Chest number one! Let's see what we got!" Mona grinned, opening up the chest… and pulled out a wig. "Uh… anime hair?"
Lion-Mane Wig: Like everyone, you've always wanted to look more like a lion. Admit it. Go on.
"I think it's supposed to me a lion's mane…" Nyx said.
"Hmm… we think it'll look great on Leone." Xena said.
"Aren't manes typically worn by… male lions?" Mona asked.
"Yeah, but I bet Leone will look fiercer with it." Umber said. "Trick everyone into thinking she's a dude."
"Tricking everyone with THOSE melons? Pffft, good one." Dark Xena telepathically snarked, causing Xena to laugh.
"Huh? Who said that?" Waluigi asked.
"Oh hey, I was wondering if you guys would have mastered telepathy." Umber said with a grin. "Especially with the other one hiding inside the other."
"Those two scare me a bit… they're gonna be full fledged psychics before we know it." Iris said.
"I think they're already there." Jade giggled.
"Anyway… chest number two!" Camrin opened it up… to reveal a lamp with a moon rock for the light. "Well, that's… interesting."
Moon Light: Illuminate your desk with light from a real chunk of moon! May smell of cheese, though.
"Ooooh, that'll look great on my desk for when I'm studying ghosts!" Jade said, her eyes sparkling a bit.
"Or when I'm writing my own puns." Nyx said.
"Or when we come up with different strategies with our telekinesis." Xena said.
"Or, ya know, makes the perfect light for studying for an exam." Iris pointed out as she caught a good whiff of the light. "…That's gonna mess with my appetite."
"And the last one…" Chloe opened the chest to pull out a rock made bongo. "…A… prehistoric… bongo?"
B.C. Bongo: The first bongo drums were made of rock. Lousy sound, but they sure were durable.
"I think that'd make the perfect present for DK." Nyx said.
Mona tapped her fist into the bongo. "Eh, no good… it's not as harmonious as the bongos the big guy usually plays."
"Give it to Cranky Kong then. The dude's pretty ancient." Xena snarked.
"Oh Xena, I'm ashamed of you." Jade said. "You ought to give him some prehistoric drum sticks too!"
"We're on it!" Xena grinned.
Meanwhile, at DK Jungle…
"Zzzzz…. ACHOO!" Cranky sneezed, which woke him up. "Wha? Hey! What are you readers doing on my lawn! Get out!"
Back with the others…
"Let's go!" Sarge said enthusastically as they jumped into a Warp Pipe after Xena teleported the Merfle away.
World 2-4 - Savannah Valley - Vaulting Over the Savannah
BGM: Savannah Valley (Wario Land: Shake It!)
"Is that more pole vaults?" Nyx wondered once they hopped out of the Warp Pipe.
"Oooh, my specialty!" Chloe grinned as they walked off while Chloe jumped on the poles and started happily vaulting over the poles, where at one point, she'd vault up high enough to where she landed on a cliff edge and found herself a small cave where she walked in and found a treasure chest, happily opening it up… to find glasses. "Hmm?"
She would take a closer look at them. "Hmm… they look kinda… hypnotic."
Hypno-Specs: Hypnotize your friends! Hypnotize your enemies! Basically, just hypnotize everybody!
"Perhaps I can hypnotize those with serious injuries to calm down so I could begin applying the proper care." Chloe quietly said. "I command you to calm down!" She said in a more mimicking masculine voice. "…Eh, sounds like it works better in an anime." She shrugged, putting the Hypno-Specs away and went to rejoin the others, unaware of Wario jumping from a cliff and Butt Smashing a metal box and caused a massive earthquake once he hit the ground.
"Wahahaha!" Wario laughed as Waluigi landed next to him as they started crawling through the small passageways, making sure not to get blown up by bombs that were falling from the ceiling, though their faces would be covered in soot by the time they found their next treasure chest.
"You got soot on your face." Waluigi said.
"So do you!" Wario pointed out as they would wipe their faces and then pulled the treasure out of the chest… to pull out a Shuttlecock made out of solid gold.
"Eh? Who plays badminton these days? It's all about tennis!" Waluigi said. "Waaah, badminton is for suckers."
"This could make a good fortune though!" Wario grinned.
Solid-Gold Shuttlecock: Play badminton the way the wealthiest emperors play it. You're worth it.
The Wario Bros would get themselves out of there and reunited with the others as they would pole vault over Scarracuda infested waters, smashing through solid stone blocks with flips as they landed on a ledge and continued climbing until Wario would Butt Smash a metal block and made his way down, causing the others to jump down with him where they would find the last treasure chest.
"Hello treasure, what do we have in you for today?" Sarge asked as he opened it up. "…What in blazes!" He said as he pulled out a Diamond Ski Mask. "A ski mask?!"
"Ooooh, diamonds!" Wario and Mona said together before both of them shot a glare.
"Diamonds in the eye holes… is that even worth it?" Nyx asked as Xena would telekinetically bring it over to her and decided to wear it.
"…Oh woooooow!"
"Can't see worth a darn?" Umber asked.
"Nope!" Xena took it off. "It's pointless."
"Sure was pretty to look at, though."
Diamond Ski Mask: You know what the problem with ski masks is? Too many eye holes, not enough diamonds.
"That figures." Nyx said as Mona would try to pry the diamonds out of the eye holes.
"Rrrgh! Mmmph! …Wow, these are glued in tight!"
"I've an idea. We burn it and we both take a gem!" Wario said.
"Good idea!" Mona said as both of them turned to the Xenas.
"Oh no, we're not wasting a good ski mask for your greed." Xena said.
"Guess we'll have to find a different way." Wario grumbled as they walked off.
"On the bright side, at least you'll be able to find the dirtbags wearing such a mask. The lights will reflect off the diamonds and you'll be able to find 'em in no time!" Sarge chuckled as they walked on, where they would soon find the Merfle locked in the cage as they busted him out of there and Xena teleported him to the Sweet Stuff.

"Come on, there should be more stuff lying around." Wario said as they hopped into a Warp Pipe and found themselves in a more open savannah. As they walked along, they saw a hot rod driving toward them.
"Whoa, heads up!" Nyx exclaimed as they jumped back as the car drove past them before turning around and drove past them again, coming to a stop.
"Hey. What are you doing here in my savannah?"
"You look like someone we oughta beat up!" Wario smirked.
"HA! You think you can take me on, Hot Roderick? I'd like to see you try!" He said as he took off driving, leaving them in the dust.
"Rrrrgh… oh yeah!" Wario pulled out his Wario Bike and hopped on, where Waluigi would hop on behind him and they'd drive off.
"…So what are we gonna do, just sit here, twiddling our thumbs?" Anthony asked.
"Actually…" Sarge chuckled. "Hey Xena, are you that powerful enough to teleport us back to the Sweet Stuff?"
"Oh, we're pretty sure. Why?" Xena asked.
"I have an idea!"
With the Wario Bros…
BGM: Hot Roderick Race (Wario Land: Shake It!)
"So! You've caught up with me, eh?" Hot Roderick asked. "Let's see if you like this!" He said, throwing wrenches at them, but they would avoid the wrenches.
"Pitiful!" Wario taunted, then would see something in his rearview mirror. "Huh? Who's driving my car?" He wondered as the Wario Car came driving up next to the Wario Bike, as JINX was driving it with Nyx behind the wheel, and then the Warthog came up on the other side, with Sarge at the wheel, Zoey in the passenger seat and Anthony on the gunner while the rest were riding on Nebby.

"What are you doing driving in my car!"
"What? You're driving your bike, so it's fair game!" Nyx pointed out. "Now let's take this bonehead down!"
Waluigi smirked, pulling out a Bob-omb. "Say no more! Let's-a go!"
BGM: DS Waluigi Pinball - Frontrunning (Mario Kart 7)
Need For Speed - Hot Roderick
Hot Roderick would quickly throw wrenches at all of them, but they would swiftly swerve out of the way as Anthony would aim the turret at the car, then used his dust staff to amplify it as it started shooting out electric bullets, striking Hot Roderick.
"Yagh!" Hot Roderick snarled, throwing bombs at them but Sarge swerved out of the way as Wario did a wheelie to pick up speed and then Waluigi chucked a few Bob-ombs at him. It was then that Iris would see something up ahead.
"Item boxes…? Nyx!"
"I see 'em!" Nyx said as they would all drive through them as even Umber had the Lunala dive and grab a hold of an item box.
"Heheheh… suck on this!" Hot Roderick would throw a banana peel, but they would swerve as Wario held a Red Shell in his hand, causing the bros to switch positions as Wario would throw the Red Shell and smacked Hot Roderick. "Rrrrgh!"
"What in the world…?" Zoey wondered, holding a Cape Feather and a Tanooki Leaf in two hands before shrugging as she put it into the Warthog, causing the Warthog to jump into the air, sprouting a Tanooki Leaf and spun around with the Tanooki Tail, batting away a wrench from Roderick.
"Yeehaw!" Sarge cheered.
"Whoooa!" Anthony said, feeling a bit dizzy before shooting out frosty bullets next, as Hot Roderick would pull out a tire with a smirk… and then a Boo came along and snagged the tire.
"Wha?!" Roderick yelled in surprise as the Boo cackled before disappearing, reappearing next to Jade and giving her the tire.
"Thank you~!" Jade smiled, standing up as she aimed the tire with her Poltergust and shot it back at Roderick, while up above, Mona had a Bullet Bill in her hands with a gleeful smile on her face.
"Heads up!" Mona exclaimed, attempting to throw the Bullet Bill at Hot Roderick, but instead she became the Bullet Bill and dive bombed Hot Roderick before flying back up and landing back on Nebby. "Whoa! …That was awesome!" She said as they drove/flew into more item boxes… where Xena would have a Giga Bob-omb in her hands.
"Oh!" Xena said in surprise before smirking, telekinetically lifting it up and throwing it at Hot Roderick, where it exploded on impact, sending him flying into the air… and then Anthony put in three Green Shells into the turret and pelted him, sending him and his car back to the ground.
"Quick, hit him with something!" Jen said.
"I can't! All I got is a stupid coin!" Umber complained as Jen would take a look before grabbing the coin.
"We'll have to make due." She said, throwing the coin before shooting at it, which was enough to send it careening into Hot Roderick's head.
"Ow!" Roderick growled, and then held out a Boomerang Flower as he threw a boomerang, only for Xena to catch it and throw it back at him. "Gah!"
"Heheheh!" Wario smirked, holding a Blue Shell in his hands, where his allies turned their heads and slowed down as Hot Roderick turned his head.
"Hahaha! You can't defeat ME in a race!"
"Have a rotten day!" Wario said, throwing the Blue Shell at him, causing Roderick's eyes to widen in horror.
"…Mother." He whimpered as the Blue Shell circled around him before slamming into him, causing a massive explosion as Roderick was sent flying into the stratosphere where a star shined brightly in the sky.

Everyone stopped in their tracks, looking at what remaiend of Roderick's car as Wario happily laughed and took the emblem that was in the wreckage. "We score!"
"Woo! That's another one down!" Sarge cheered.
"You said it!" Mona smiled. "I wonder if I can become a missile again…"
"Alright, let's go." Xena said, closing her eyes and teleporting them all, including the vehicles, back at the Sweet Stuff.
"So, how was driving?" Syrup asked.
"Pretty great!" Sarge chuckled.
"Excellent. Now let's go to the next continent." Syrup said as they started to sail away… but as soon as they left the continent, they were immediately greeted by a boat sailing toward them.
"Is that another ship?" Waluigi asked.
"That's the Shake King's vessel!" Merfle said, paling at the sight of it while the other Merfles shivered in terror.
"You guys go hide underneath! We'll deal with this." Syrup ordered as the Merfles hid underneath the ship while the two ships stopped sailing and had stopped in the middle of the ocean… and then they saw the Shake King jump ship and landed on the Sweet Stuff.
BGM: Imminent Threat (Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity)
"So… this is the party that's been taking down my men? Heh! Doesn't look much like a threat." The Shake King chuckled.
"So you're the Shake King!" Wario said. "Guess what, pal! We've been taking down your forces easily! We even took down two of your officers!"
"So you have destroyed Hot Roderick… I see." Shake King mused and then chuckled. "Tell me… are you strong enough to fight me?" He asked, aiming his hand at the Wario Bros and Syrup, suddenly wrapping them up in magical binds.
"Rrrgh! What the…?!" Syrup grunted as the Shake King turned to the others and then punched the deck hard enough for a magical shockwave to knock them all down, before binding them up in magical binds.
"You aren't worth the trouble. Heheheh… you do not concern me."
"Rrrgh… oh yeah…?!" Nyx spoke up. "You think you can just boast about your strength… just like that! We crush people like you all the time… you boast now, but we'll be ready to knock you down several pegs!"
"Oh, is that right?" Shake King towered over Nyx. "Something about you intrigues me… you seem to be at war with yourself. You seem to have immense hatred for someone, but who?" He wondered and then turned his gaze over at the Wario Bros. "…Ah, I see… you have a hatred for those two, and yet you're teaming up with them? How fascinating…"
The Shake King chuckled, snapping his fingers to take off the magical binds off of Nyx. "Child, if you hate them so much… then why not side with me? I can grant you infinite power… and with it, you can kill those two."
Nyx closed her eyes. It all sounded too tempting… they deserved to be punished after what they did to her home, her family… uprooting all of them because they cheated. All because of one cheating royal flush.
She clenched her fists, she wanted to do it… but something else inside of her was beckoning her to not go through with it, that she was better than that. Not to mention… she'd be betraying her teammates, her friends.
"Nyx! Don't do it!" Jade called out to her. "I know you… and you wouldn't go this far to do anything! You have a hatred for the Bros, but that doesn't mean you should-" Magical binds wrapped around her mouth. "Mmmph!"
"What will it be?" The Shake King asked her.
"…Sorry, but I'm going to kill them my own way. I do not need assistance from you."
"Hmph, that is a shame." Shake King turned around, his back to her. "If that is what you wish, I will not stop you." He then chuckled darkly, smirking. "Let her be an example for all those who deny my offerings." He said as his fist glowed a magical aura and before Nyx could do anything, the Shake King swung his fist hard enough into Nyx's gut.
"MMMPH!" Nyx grunted, her aura immediately shattering on impact as the magic from the Shake King's punch would go clear through her body and burst out of her back, a surprised pained look was seen in Nyx's eyes as she was punched clear into the ocean.
"NYX!" Everyone yelled.
"We're done here." Shake King said. "Next time we meet, it will not be a pleasant one." He warned as he jumped toward his ship, the magical binds disappearing as Shake King's vessel took off.

"Shit!" Iris yelled as they rushed over to the side of the ship where Nyx's body wasn't seen. "Shit, where is she?!"
"She has to be in there somewhere!" Jade exclaimed.
SPLASH!
Down into the depths…
Nyx helplessly sunk down to the depths of the ocean. Nnngh… why can't I move… my body… aagh… everything… is getting… darker. Her eyes started to close. I guess… this is it… She thought, closing her eyes… unaware of two arms grabbing her, consisting of a burly arm with a yellow sleeve, and the other arm being a lanky arm with a purple sleeve, dragging her back to the surface.
Couldn't decide if I wanted to use Wario Colosseum from Double Dash or Waluigi Pinball for the music with Hot Roderick, both of them sounded really good for the scenario. Asked my friends about it and... well, Waluigi Pinball it was!
