World 3-Secret - Derailed Express - Derailed Plans

BGM: Wreck Train (Wario Land: Shake It!)

"This has to be the least efficient way to get to Glittertown." Jade said, leaning on a wall. "Especially considering it's called "Derailed Express".

"Now hold on… it could just be a name just to throw people off." Iris pointed out.

"Yeah… about that!" A voice said as they saw Sarge approaching them. "We found this in a treasure chest. It doesn't look good by the looks of things."

"Let's see here…" Dark Xena took the treasure, which happened to be a time table.

Train Timetable: A schedule for the Derailed Express. Huh. It's scheduled to derail at 4:15. Weird.

Dark Xena sweatdropped. "Yeeeeeah… no, we need to get off this thing as soon as possible."

"Oh, what happened to that daredevil attitude of yours, Dark?" Iris asked and then took a look, causing her to pale. "Oh…"

"I still have it… I just happen to have standards in a situation like this."

"Can't say I blame her." Jade said before taking the timetable and shredding it. "Let's just get that Merfle and get out of here before it derails."

"Right." Sarge nodded as they walked off.

"Mmm…"

Morning lovable twin of mine! How are you feeling?

"A lot better."

Wonderful! So uh, you want to take over or you wanna just rest a little longer?

"Honestly, you can take a hold of the wheel for a while. I was planning on letting you take over anyway."

Sounds good to me.

"So what'd I miss? Last thing I remember, we were thrown out of the train."

Well, we did some spelunking and now we're on our way to a place called Glittertown and the fastest way is by train.

"Oh neat!"

…It's called Derailed Express, and the timetable we just saw is scheduled to derail soon.

"Oh… shit."

Yeah… not good.

"Well, here's hoping we can get out in time!"

Me too.

Wario opened up a door to the next train car… and found themselves outside. "Wah?!" He yelled in surprise. "No box car, just the great outdoors?!"

"If you call being in high winds the "Great outdoors", then yes!" Dark Xena snarked.

"Grab on to something, it's gonna be a bit windy!" Zoey warned as they walked through, hanging on to whatever they could grab on to, until Dark Xena had enough and used her psychic abilities to telekinetically plant everyone's feet on the ground, and every step they took, they would stay in place.

"Thanks Dark!" Umber smiled.

Dark Xena smiled back. "No prob!" She grinned, noticing a treasure chest on a box as she telekinetically grabbed a hold of it as they made their way to the next box car, all the while some Banderninos were flying away.

Once they got inside, Jen closed the door. "Everyone alright?"

"Yeah… I'm alright." Camrin nodded. "Mona, how about you?"

"Hack! Plepth! I think I just swallowed a few bugs…" Mona grimaced.

"Ew…" Jade groaned in disgust while Dark Xena opened up the chest.

"…Okay, what?" She wondered as she pulled out a solid gold bat.

"Think we could give that to Ness?"

Honestly, the last thing that boy needs is a solid gold bat.

"Good point."

24K Baseball Bat - The few players that actually use these do surprisingly well. Maybe it distracts pitchers?

"I could use that." Waluigi said, taking it from her. "I've been meaning to upgrade my baseball bat anyway."

"Knock yourself out." Dark Xena shrugged as they wandered around while also dodging the Fire Jets, though Dark Xena would manipulate the fire to let everyone through as Umber would crawl under a space and find a treasure chest, and once he opened it up… he pulled out a star.

"Wha…?"

Overachieving Star - This one shines brighter than any other star out there. Show-off.

"Eh…" Umber threw it behind him. "Kinda pointless." He said as he climbed up and reunited with the others as they got to the locomotive where they found the Merfle and got him out of there, and once Dark Xena teleported him away, they would see that unlike the last train, this one had no brakes.

"Well, we've good news and bad news." Dark Xena said. "The good news is that we're close by to Glittertown."

"The bad news?" Jen asked.

"There's no brakes on this train."

"Oh, wonderful."

"Hmm… hey, can you two use your psychic powers and see if you can look ahead?" Jade asked.

"We can try." Dark Xena nodded and closed her eyes where everything started to slow down around her before stopping. In an instant, her spirit came out of her body. "Whoa… hey Xena, you there?"

Pause BGM

BGM: Lavender Town (Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee)

"Yeah, I'm here."

"Alright, let's go take a look." Dark Xena said as she flew out of the train to see what's up ahead.

"Wait, that train switch! That can take us to Glittertown!"

"Yeah!" Dark Xena nodded before seeing something that made her eyes widen. "Uh… we're gonna have to take a rain check on that."

"Aw, son of a bitch, it's broken!"

"Pretty much…" Dark Xena sighed as she flew off where she'd find a bridge, but as she continued on, there were signs that read "Bridge out", "DANGER!" "You're going to regret this!"

"That doesn't bode well…"

"Nope, it doesn't." Dark Xena said as she got closer until she came across a large canyon with the bridge stopping in the middle. "Ooooh… this is bad."

"Okaaaay, so… teleporting everyone to Glittertown then?"

"Yup!" Dark Xena nodded and closed her eyes, returning back to her own body.

Resume Wreck Train BGM

"Mmm…" Dark Xena rubbed her head once everything resumed.

"You okay?" Iris asked.

"Yeah, we did Astral Projection." Dark Xena responded.

"Oooh, cooooool!" Mona's eyes sparkled.

"Yeah, but listen… we looked up ahead. There's a broken train switch up ahead that's currently locked into position. This train is not taking us to Glittertown. However, it is taking us to a bridge that's incomplete. And on top of that, it's sitting right in the middle of a canyon."

Everyone started to pale. "Ooooh…" They all said grimly.

"Alright, form around the dark girl!" Sarge ordered as they did so as Dark Xena would teleport everyone to Glittertown, while the train kept cruising along, smashing into the signs before crossing the bridge and drove off of the bridge, falling into the canyon before crashing down and exploding.

World 3-4 - Glittertown - All That Glitters…

BGM: Glittertown (Wario Land: Shake It!)

"Whooooa…" Wario said in awe as they were looking around.

"Did… we just drop inside some sort of casino city?" Camrin asked.

"Looks like it." Iris nodded.

"Reminds me of Las Vegas." Sarge chuckled and turned to his friends. "And remember! What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Let's move!" He said and walked of.

"…What did he mean by that?" Xena telepathically asked the others.

"Honestly, your guess is good as mine." Jade responded.

"Hmm, I wonder if it means something… sexual…" Iris mused. "…Nah, I'm overthinking it."

"Let's check this place out!" Mona grinned as they walked around the town before they came across a large shopping mall where they decided to go inside, where they would see various platforms with hidden treasures, there was even water fountains.

"Welp, looks like we found our area!" Dark Xena said as they wandered around the mall, jumping on platforms while also taking care of some enemies.

Wario and Waluigi found some fountains acting like platforms as they proceeded to run across before the water receded as they jumped onto a ladder and climbed up, and as they did, they would see a Boomdernino shooting cannonballs at them while also guarding a treasure chest, but they would avoid this as Wario grabbed a hold of it and shook it violently until the armor was destroyed, revealing just a red Bandernino.

"Aw, look at the so-called big man being brave!" Waluigi taunted as Wario chuckled a bit, causing the Bandernino to gulp before Wario turned around and threw him into a wall to KO him and then they pulled the treasure out of the chest.

"…What is this?" Wario wondered, pulling out some sort of duck.

"Looks like a Farfetch'd."

"Yeah, a discount Farfetch'd! Wahahaha!" Wario laughed before reading the back. "Ooooh!"

Ancient Duck Soup Mix - Ancient peoples had more primitive means of making instant soup.

"It's Duck soup mix!" Wario said.

"Wah… would anyone really care about this?"

"Eh, good point… though I imagine that Alola boy might like to try to cook something with this." Wario said, putting it away as they walked off.

Mona jumped through some handle bars with Camrin, both of them jumping through the air and landing on a platform gracefully… and then they would see a treasure chest. "Score!" She said as she opened it up. "Ooooh, an energy drink!" She grinned, pulling it out.

"I dunno… something looks off about it. I've never seen energy drinks have that kind of cap."

"Ah, it's probably something unique to this dimension." Mona said, opening the cap and started to chug it… before doing a spit take a few swallows later. "Gaaaah!"

"What's wrong?"

"This is the worst energy drink I've ever had! It tastes… disgusting!" She shuddered as Camrin took it off her hands and noticed something on the label.

"Hang on a moment…" He said, peeling it off… and the more he peeled off, the more he started laughing.

Energy Drink: Looks like cough syrup. Tastes kind of like cough syrup, too. Wait a minute...

"This is cough syrup in disguise of an energy drink!" He laughed.

"Uuuugh, no wonder it tasted disgusting!" Mona said, taking it and throwing the whole bottle away. "Lousy good for nothing…! Rrrgh…"

Camrin patted her on the back. "There there, we'll find some other drink around here."

"I hope!"

Sarge, Umber and Dark Xena wandered around, climbing on various platforms while taking out some Banderninos when they found a small crawlspace, but Dark Xena would teleport them through and appeared on the other side, where they'd find a treasure chest, then they opened it up.

"Oooh, pretty!" Sarge said as he pulled out a pink diamond.

"Oooh, yes it is!"

"You thinking what I'm thinking?"

Oh yeah.

"You know, we think it'd be the perfect present for Mona. You know, her love for shiny things and all that." Dark Xena pointed out.

Pink Diamond: So shiny! So pink! Is there anything lovelier that you can pull from deep under the ground?

"You know, I was thinking the same thing." Umber nodded.

"Sounds good to me." Sarge agreed as they climbed out as they started walking around the mall some more while Zoey, Jade and Iris were walking on platforms only visible by spotlight.

"Oh, I see the concept here…" Iris said as they were moving around, jumping across gaps until they made their way over to the top where the trio would destroy the Merfle cage.

"Phew, thank you!" The Merfle smiled as they jumped down and reunited with everyone as Dark Xena would teleport the Merfle away as they made their way out of the mall, and then they would find a casino up ahead.

"Neon City… interesting name for a casino." Camrin said.

"Let's-a go!" Wario said as they walked inside… while the Wario Bros also gave Umber the Duck Soup Mix.

"Uh… what am I supposed to with this? Sure, I like cooking but I don't think I've ever cooked duck before!" He said before putting it away.

World 3-Secret 2 - Neon City - Feeling Lucky, Punk?

The group walked through the casino. "I feel like a criminal…" Iris said.

"Why's tha-… oh right, we're underaged here." Jade sweatdropped.

"Ha! Wimps… this is nothing for a gal like us!" Dark Xena boasted.

"Riiiiiight…"

Oh ye of little faith. Besides, I don't see any security guards around here, do you?

"I see some Banderninos who are acting like guards."

"Pffft!" Dark Xena giggled. Riiiiight! Like they can do anything to us.

"Good point…"

As they wandered around the casino, Wario would immediately spot treasure on top of a casino roulette machine. "Ooooh!" He grinned as he walked over toward it and started to pull the lever down… only for the slots to show two sevens and one Bar. "Aaagh!" He groaned as he pulled the lever again… and a few more times, but he either got nothing at all or just a few measly coins.

"AAAAARGH!" Wario grabbed the slot machine and started shaking it uncontrollably until the wheels gave three 7s, which resulted in lot of money coming out and a treasure. "Wahahahaha! That's more like it! What do we got!" He said, opening up the treasure chest as he let out a gasp.

"A million dollar bill?! I'm rich! I'm rich! WAHAHAHAHA! I'M RICH!" He yelled happily… before he took a closer look. "…Wah?" He wondered. "Why is this colored red… wait a minute… PLAY MONEY?!"

Play Money - Experience the feeling of being a millionaire without any of the actual wealth!

"AAAARGH!" Wario ripped the Play Money in pieces as he then picked up the slot machine and threw it across the casino.

"MROOOOOOOOOOW!"

"If there's one thing I despise more than greedy people, it's fake money!" Wario snarled.

"Did I just hear a cat meowing in agony?" Sarge wondered.

"Ah, it's probably nothing." Jen shrugged as they wandered around the casino where they would continue seeing the various gambling sites in the area, and Mona glanced at one such site that had a treasure chest all ready to go.

"Ooooh!" She went running over to the chest.

"Ah ah ah! I wouldn't." A Bandernino said. "If you want that treasure, you'll have to play a game."

"And what is it?"

"Do you want to roll the dice? The higher the roll, the more cash you'll earn!"

"Yeah, I'll roll the dice." Mona smiled… before grabbing the Bandernino. "But you didn't say what kind of dice~" She smirked, causing the Bandernino to pale up before Mona threw him at the treasure, which popped said treasure out, but the Bandernino rolled back with a groan.

"Oooogh…"

"Oooh, snake eyes!" Mona smiled and then saw the treasure rolling to her, making her gasp. "SHINY!" She yelled as she rushed toward it and grabbed a hold of it. "Precioooouuuuus~"

Mirror Crystal Ball - Finally, a way to simultaneously tell fortunes and host disco parties!

Mona put it in her pocket and happily walked away with a hum. "I got a shiny ball~! I got a shiny ball~!"

"Whatever happened to the manly game of craps?" The Bandernino groaned.

Up above, Zoey would climb up a ladder and see some Floating Banderninos all lined up in a row. She rubbed her chin before proceeding to jump on the Banderninos before jumping on the platform that contained the last treasure chest.

"Score!" Zoey smiled and opened up the treasure chest… and pulled out two fruits that were dressed up. "…Huh?"

Spyfruit - Extremely rare fruit trained in espionage and counterintelligence.

"We're dressing up food now… okay then." She said, shrugging as she put the Spyfruit down and jumped down, landing on a Bandernino to cushion her fall as they all walked through the casino, then noticing Waluigi applying a sledgehammer to a caged Merfle, destroying it and freeing it.

"Wahahaha! Nailed it!" Waluigi said as Dark Xena rolled her eyes and teleported it away.

"Alright! Where to next?" Wario wondered and then spotted a "Do not enter" sign. "Hello there!"

"Uh, it says Do Not Enter." Jen pointed out.

"Like that's gonna stop me because I don't care!" Wario said, punching the door hard enough for it to come off its hinges.

"It seemed kind of important anyway." Dark Xena shrugged.

"Yeah, it did." Umber agreed as they wandered through the area where they found themselves in an arena-like area in an alleyway… and then it was followed by creepy laughter.

"Look alive, we got a creeper!" Sarge said, pumping his shotgun as they got ready to face whatever it was they were facing… and they were greeted by a clown bot that was nothing more than a face.

BGM: Chortlebot Challenge (Wario Land: Shake It!)

"Chortlebot online! PREPARING TO TAKE YOU OFFLINE! HAHAHAHA!"

Robotic Jester - Chortlebot

"Oh settle down, clown!" Dark Xena said, telepathically slamming it to the ground as it attempted to shoot her with spike bars, but she kept the nose and mouth shut tight while everyone proceeded to wail on the robot.

Wario grabbed a hold of some bars and did a few flips before vaulting off and landing on top of his head. "BUTT SMASH!" He yelled, completely cracking his head over as Mona, Zoey and Camrin proceeded to vault up and wail on his weakspot, much to it crying out in pain.

"And for my next trick…" Sarge pumped his shotgun. "These bullets will come out of this boomstick!" He said and shot him in the face. "Presto!"

"Wow… is this it? The last two opponents were harder than this." Xena said in awe.

"Right?" Dark Xena agreed as Waluigi body slammed on the top of his head and then Wario grabbing the face and starting to spin it around.

"Have a rotten day!" He said once Dark Xena released him and then Wario sent him crashing into a wall which he exploded on contact, then the Boss Emblem landed near the group.

"That was it?" Umber deadpanned.

"I'm in much of a shock as you are." Iris said as Wario picked up the Boss Emblem with a grin on his face.

"Excuse me, Mr. Wario." Zoey approached him. "But I want to ask you and your brother something."

"Ask away." Wario said.

"This is just out of curiosity, but what did you do with Miss Nyx's deed after you destroyed the house?"

"Ah… well, here's the thing." Waluigi began.

Way in the past…

BGM: Scent of Silence (Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories)

"Alright, they're gone." Waluigi said as he smirked. "You ready, bro?"

"Ready!" Wario said, pulling out Bob-ombs.

"The moment the Shadows left, we went right to work on destroying their home. It looked outdated in a place like that, so we thought it'd be best to refurbish it to our liking." Waluigi explained.

"Of course, the Boos were a bit of a hassle." Wario added.

"Band together! We are not going to let them destroy this house!" A Boo said as they formed a Boo shield around the house.

"Though, I came prepared!" Waluigi said proudly.

Waluigi pulled out a flashlight, shining in the Boos' eyes as they yelped and hid away from the light… which gave them plenty of time to bomb the heck out of the home.

"However, we weren't stupid. We had put the deed in a safe before we blew it up… and then we safely retrieved it. Turns out, the Bob-ombs pack quite a punch and caused the remains of the house to catch on fire. Aheheheh… we should've pulled out the couches and the beds, they looked rather comfy." Wario said.

"The TV looked nice too… but oh well."

"After that, we rebuilt it, made it shinier and made it look like it belonged in Gusty Gulch in the first place. We made it a few stories taller too… just because, and then we decided to auction it off."

"Two hundred coins! Do I hear any higher!" Wario said. "Going once, going twice-"

"THREE HUNDRED COINS."

"Three hundred coins! Do I hear any higher?"

"Four hundred!"

"Five hundred!"

"SIX HUNDRED COINS."

"Six hundred coins! Are there any other bids! Going once! Going twice! SOLD TO THE BLUE SPIKE!"

"The one who bought the house had a strange name…" Wario said. "Was it, uh… Blubba Tubba?"

"I think it was Tubba Fluffa…" Waluigi mused.

"Bah, in any case, he's happily living in his home." Wario said.

"So… the deed is in the house, correct?" Iris asked.

"Of course not! It's somewhere else." Waluigi said.

"And where is that?" Dark Xena asked.

Wario smiled. "WarioWare Inc!"

"WARIOWARE?!" Everyone but the Wario Bros yelled.

Meanwhile…

"This should be the spot." Erik said, and then immediately felt his shoulder getting heavy. "Mmmph! What on… oh."

Bowser hopped off of his shoulder, and he grew back to his monstrous size. "Ah, back to awesomeness!" He said… and then proceeded to destroy the garage door with one punch. "Hey! Is Mia in here!"

"Wah!" A scientist yelped. "What on earth!"

"You… wouldn't happen to be Dr. Crygor, would you?" Erik asked.

"That is me, yes. What are you doing?"

"We're looking for Mia. This blue haired individual. You seen her anywhere?"

"Ah… the girl that was helpful in our latest experiment. I believe she went off with Dribble and Spitz next."

"…What kind of names are those?" Bowser wondered aloud.

"Hey grandpa!" A voice called out as a girl approached them. "I was wondering if-" She spotted Bowser and let out a gasp. "OH MY GOSH, YOU'RE PERFECT!"

"…Who's this tiny thing?" Bowser asked.

"Ah, so glad you asked!" Dr. Crygor said. "This here is my granddaughter… Penny."

"Hello!"

…There's another Penny? Both of them thought at the same time as Penny grabbed a hold of Bowser.

"Come on, you'll be perfect for this lab experiment!" She said, yanking the Koopa King away.

"Whoa!"

Erik rubbed his chin in thought. "Okay, two Jades, two Foxes, two Sonias… I've heard there's an Ibuki in the Street Fighter realm so two Ibukis, and now… two Pennys… one of them being a robot." Erik sweatdropped. "I wouldn't be surprised if there was another Veronica… though probably less sassier than the one that we know."

"Alright, so we built this armor to destroy this city in the simulation. However, we're just not getting it right… but thankfully, you came along!" Penny smiled.

"You had me at destroying things!" Bowser smirked.

"Awesome!" Penny smiled as she and Dr. Crygor proceeded to put the armor on Bowser. "Just to let you know though, it's fully automated so you won't have full control of your body."

"Can I breathe fire though?"

"Oh yeah! You can definitely do that!" Penny nodded.

"Excellent!" Bowser smirked as Penny fired up the simulation, where Bowser found himself towering over a city.

"Alriiiiight, the simulation of New Donk City is a go!" Penny grinned. "We would have done Diamond City but grandpa thinks it's too close to home."

"I'd rather not have my own simulation get crushed, thank you very much!" Dr. Crygor said.

"Oh, you'll be fiiiiine… oh well." Penny said. "And the simulation… is a go! Have at it!"

"BWAHAHAHAHAHA!" Bowser roared as he started wrecking things while breathing fire. "FEAR ME, NEW DONK CITY! KNEEL BEFORE THE KING OF AWESOOOOME! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" He roared while destroying everything in sight.

"Mmm, maximum carnage~!" Penny said in a sing songy voice.

"Welp, there goes city hall."

"BWAHAHAHAHAHA!"

"…He's having way too much fun." Erik sweatdropped, proceeding to sit down in a chair to wait for the carnage to end.

Alright, I have an announcement to make!

So, i've been in a massive Metroid kick the past few days (Thanks Nintendo!) and it... kinda got the gears turning. (Which in turn made me unable to concentrate on this chapter. Pffft.) So... after this story... we will be diving into a RWBY/Metroid story!
