Apologies for the late update, I've been busy working on other stories, but I'll try to focus on this one more.

The Ace Ops stood on the icy cliff as they overwatched the activity from the demolition crew below. They called the crew in after Mosura had told them that the only way to awaken Behemoth was to create a disturbance that would shake the ground around him. With enough seismic force, the titan should wake up. Vine now was down with them as they set up the bombs.

Marrow looks down at the massive explosives lined up. "You think we're overdoing this?"

"We don't even fully know what it is we're dealing with." Clover explained, "Until we do, we just need to be better safe than sorry."

Suddenly, the team's scrolls went off, signaling a proximity alert. Clover turned is scroll on and looked at the footage to see a section of an icy cliff fall away as a massive reptilian creature with a back full of spikes and a box-like head full of teeth exploded out of it, letting out a roar that could be heard by the rest of the team without the use of the scroll. An announcement came over showing that Ironwood had already dispatched a squadron of Manta fighters to intercept.

"It's close!" Elm shouted.

"What even IS it?" Harriet asked.

Clover typed a few buttons on the scroll, "Maybe Mosura will know."

Ozpin quickly picked up on the other end. "Yes?"

"Is Mosura with you?" Clover asked.

"I'm here" Mosura's voice came over the other end, "What's wrong?"

"Something just popped out of the cliffs nearby" Elm replied, "Looks like some kind of dinosaur with some spikes on its shoulder's."

Mosura's voice became dangerously calm. "Is it rather skinny?"

Marrow looked at the footage of the monster on his scroll. "Very."

Mosura gasped. "You need to wake Behemoth up NOW!"

"What is it?" Clover asked.

"It's Zilla, one of our enemies."

"The explosives are almost ready." vine said over the coms.

"How much time do you need?" Elm asked.

"A few minutes, maybe more."

Elm nodded, then hefted her hammer before running toward a Manta.

"What are you doing?" Clover demanded.

"I'm gonna buy you some time. You're welcome to join me." Elm replied.

Marrow's eyes widened, "Are you NUTS!?"

"Probably!" Elm shouted back.

Clover got and idea. "Harriet, Marrow, go with her. I'll stay here with Vine."

Harriet nodded. "Yes sir." And then she ran onto the ship.

Marrow groaned. "If I get crushed, I'm blaming you." But he too ran onto the Manta, which then took off as Harriet got behind the controls, directing it toward Zilla's location. Clover watched it take off, then turned back to the ice sheet Behemoth slumbered under.

"This better work" he told himself as he rubbed the clover pendant on his uniform; he felt like they would need all the luck they could get.

Zilla trudged across the plain as the Mantas flew around him, firing their guns, but to little success as the bullets bounced off his hide as he swiped the fighters out of the air with his arms and tail.

Battra watched from a cliff nearby and scoffed. "Thousands of years of imprisonment and I come back to THIS? Disappointing."

Just then, Zilla recoils, roaring in mild pain as two missiles hit the side of his face. He then looks up to see the Manta carrying the Ace Ops floating above, Elm reloading her missile launcher as she stood in the open passenger bay.

"That's right, you dumb lizard" she taunted, "COME AND GET IT!"

Zilla narrowed his eyes and pounced at the ship, but just missed as Harriet veered the ship away while Elm and Marrow continued firing at it.

"That's it!" Harriet yelled, "Keep his attention!"

Zilla roared and charged after the ship as it flew off. Battra watched and shook his head. "Welp, they were stupid."

Suddenly, the ground violently shook as a massive explosion rang out from the distance.

"Clover!" Harriet shouted over the coms, "Was that you?"

"Affirmative" Clover said, "We just set them off. Let's hope it did some good."

"Watch out!" Marrow cried as Zilla swiped at the back of the Manta taking off a chuck of the rear and causing Marrow to scream in fear as he jumped into Elm's arms.

"Get down!" Elm shouted, dropping him. She then picked her missile launcher back up and fired again, but Zilla was still getting closer…and then stopped.

Elm looked confused, "Did we deter him?"

"I don't think we did." Harriet said as she looked ahead to see a massive shape rise out of the smoke caused by the explosion: Behemoth. Harriet veered the ship away from the Titan as it bellowed in anger at Zilla, who returned the challenge and charged again. As the Ace Ops watched, Behemoth swung his head and slammed his tusks into Zilla, sending him, flying across the ground with a massive thud. Zilla attempts to get back up as he sees Behemoth approach him, a wild fire in his eyes as he smashes through the cliff surrounding his former resting place.

"Dammit!" Battra shouted before teleporting next to Zilla's head. "You're not going to win this. Get out of here!"

Zilla wastes no time in running away as Behemoth looks after him in disdain, but he stopped in his tracks as a new shape dropped in front of him: Gigan was online.

His visor glowed a bright blue as he raised his blades to attack. Zilla stopped but then attempted to run around. Gigan tried to block him by moving one of his blade arms down in front of Zilla, but Zilla simply bumped it, knocking Gigan down as he ran past.

The Ace Ops had managed to land the ship on a still intact section of the cliff, reuniting with Clover and Vine, and they now cheered as they watched Zilla run off.

"That'll teach him!" Elm shouted.

Marrow's joy turned to shock as he widened his eyes and meekly said, "Uhhh, guys?"

The other Ace Ops followed his gaze and collectively gasped as Behemoth somehow knelt down to face them. Elm in particular stared in amazement as she looked the creature in the eyes; there was a feeling of power and yet also of wisdom in them.

"Who are you?" boomed a deep voice in her head. Elm shouted in surprise, but quickly realized who must've been talking.

Elm regained her calm demeanor. "My name is Elm Ederene."

"Who are you talking to?" Vine asked.

"This might sound crazy" Elm replied, "But I think he just spoke to me in my head."

The other Ace Ops were at a complete loss for words.

Ironwood stood in a control room as the engineer piloting Gigan turned in his chair to face him.

"He's not moving fast enough." The engineer said, "Something seems to be…resisting the programming and it's taking everything we have to get him moving at all. It's a miracle we even got him to leave the facility."

Ironwood furrowed his eyebrows, but remained calm. "Do what you can."

As he turned to leave the room, Ironwood began to question if he had underestimated these Titans in his attempt to control them…

Meanwhile, Battra managed to teleport to a hidden cave; a jungle could be seen behind him.

"We got a problem" he said, "They just woke up Behemoth and I'm pretty sure that bird brain you killed is back…somehow."

"The humans are becoming resourceful" the entity replied in Battra's head, "Be patient. Awaken the Alpha here on this island. I'll see Zilla is put to some good use."

Gigan fans (of whom I am a part of), don't worry, he will get his real spotlight in a later chapter, this is a build up. As for why certain kaiju are on a certain side, more of that will be explained in a later chapter.

P.S. Zilla's design is the one from the Rulers of Earth comics.

Let me know what you think so far!
