Taking place during the events of Sonic: Genesis of a Hero, a young 2-tailed fox named Miles Prower discovers a strange-looking gemstone that washes up on Cocoa Island; however, the island is soon under siege from a sinister army of warlike birds. With the help of a hot-blooded rooster & a roller-skating mole, Miles must fight off these fiendish invaders!

In response to Captain Bones:

The story being about Tails taking a vacation from Sonic's adventures only applies to the American version. The Japanese version, taking place BEFORE Tails met Sonic, was the one I decided was more suitable to base this story around.
