Can our inner demons love Chapter oneThe Waring Clans

During the Warring States Period, it was discovered by the Senju clan that when one of their male members over-used their Chakra, they would become exhausted beyond a normal state caused by physical work. This didn't apply to the female shinobi in the same way.

This caused the clan leader to order his best medical ninja to research the root cause, thinking it was an attack by the hated Uchiha. What the research team found was that it was a naturally occurring chemical they called Uzine that was found in every ninja they tested. The uzine was the body's way of stopping a Chakra user from overusing their chakra network to prevent death from chakra exhaustion.

In the females, they found that this Uzine broke down quickly through a natural process, so quickly that the kunoichi's chakra coils didn't grow as large as the male ninja's limiting them to a support role in most battles. With a large number of deaths from constant battles, the survival of the clan was dependent on having as many children as possible. Limiting even more the roles of Kunoichi in battle.

The downside for the males was the Uzine while causing their coils to grow larger and at a faster rate when using up all their Chakra did not break down in their bodies. Once the Uzine reached a critical level the shinobi has to rest for days, some even weeks before they were back to fighting condition.

Why it took so long in some and not in others was the new focus of research.

Hashirama looked out over the city wall, watching as a group of his clansmen went on another mission. The life of a mercenary weighed heavy on him. Too many children were being forced to fight while his best men had to rest, the few that tried to rejoin their brothers in a battle to soon had died a horrible death as their chakra coils exploded.

Hearing a commotion from the clan quarters, as he jumped down the 50-foot wall and walked into the common area of his family's temporary home. "What is going on Botan, I can hear you from the top of the city wall". "It's Akiyoshi sir, he wants to rejoin his team but he has only rested the night, he is going to kill himself!" with a shaking hand, the aged medic pointed at the offending Akiyoshi.

Akiyoshi was a large man, even for a Senju, standing 6 feet tall with long white hair held back by his headband. Wearing those dam wooden shoes he liked so much along with his bright red vent. Why the fool of a man wasn't dead was a mystery, but his powers in battle were only second to Hashirama's.

"Isn't this the third time this week, Akiyoshi?", Hashirama said as he walked over the shinobi belting on his weapons. "Yes sir and I am ready to go. Those dam Uchiha killed my oldest boy, and I plan on making them pay!" giving his leader a look demanding he tries to stop him Akiyoshi moved to leave.

Placing his hand on Akiyoshi's shoulder in understanding, Hashirama asked softly, "I know your pain but first I need to know. Are you using a forbidden Jutsu to recover so quickly?"

Akiyoshi looked shocked at the acquisition and leaned in close to his clan head. "No sir, I return from battle burning with Uzine to rest with my loving wife Chinatsu. We make love all night knowing this may be our last day together and I feel ready to return to battle the next day knowing she will protect our children if I am gone."

Watching Akiyoshi leave Hashirama remembering Chinatsu being a woman of unmatched beauty and unstoppable force on the battlefield. Now with 7 children, 6 living to care for she stayed behind.

Turning to the med nin still at his side," Botan, I want you to ask the research team to speak with Chinatsu. Tell them what you heard and find out if there is more to the story." With a bow to his leader, Botan hobbled on his one good leg to find the research team captain.

The discovery of the cure was deceptively simple but challenging to implement. It seems that sex was the cure, but more precisely a man's sperm contained a very large amount of Uzine. The more sperm he released the faster he was able to recover from Uzine poisoning. That over-sexed Akiyoshi had stumbled on the solution, they had spent the last 5 years looking for.

Orders were given, and a new training course was developed for the young Kunoichi so they would understand their duty in the future. This was deemed an S-rank clan secret, no civilian was to know of this, and if any did they were to be killed immediately. All active teams were assigned a willing Kunoichi to help in the field with this problem.

As it was discovered that the quickest and easiest method for removing the chemical from a male's body was stimulation. A Kunoichi was not always needed as each shinobi was taught a simple way to work the chemical out themselves, but in cases where he couldn't work it all out fast enough, a Kunoichi was required to help. It was fast, effective and most of all the Senju started to win against the hated Uchiha.
