Undeath9087: Percy is horrified by what her big brothers says- poor thing. And yeah, yeah it will.
Guest: Hylla is just like 'I really wanted to hate you but you're my type of person after all'. And yeah, just wait until Percy learns that she's related to Frank on her dads side.
The Official Clarisse: He'd be a good captain lol. And yeah, yeah Percy is definitely somewhat more brutal at times. But after what she's been through can you blame her?

Percy was on her feet in an instant, it had been ridiculously easy to break her restraints- and she could hear Hazel getting up behind her but she was already moving, pulling Riptide from her pocket and uncapping it in a smooth practised motion- and the Amazon guard didn't even have time to try and get away before Percy was on her, blade whirling as Percy caught the guards arm, forcing her to drop her spear before she shifted her grip and slammed the hilt of the blade against the guards head, and she crumpled to the ground like a puppet who's strings had been cut.

Percy glanced backwards, Hazel was leaning over the side grabbing something off of Doris and Lulu- and a moment later she was rushing towards Percy, and Frank, who was stood up in his cage, his eyes wide.

"Hazel- Percy that was-"

"All Hazel's genius." Percy declared quickly as Hazel swiped the card and the door popped open, Frank stepping out of the cell quickly. "Now we should probably get out of here-"

"Right." Hazel nodded, "Before-" Alarms began wailing throughout the cavern, "Too late, come on let's go."

The first part of the escape was easy. They retrieved Hazel and Frank's things with no problem, then started climbing down the ladder. Every time Amazons swarmed beneath them, demanding their surrender, Hazel made a crate of jewellery explode, burying their enemies in a Niagara Falls of gold and silver. When they got to the bottom of the ladder, they found a scene that looked like Mardi Gras Armageddon—Amazons trapped up to their necks in bead necklaces, several more upside down in a mountain of amethyst earrings, and a battle forklift buried in silver charm bracelets.

"You, Hazel Levesque," Frank said, "are entirely freaking incredible."

"She really is." Percy grinned proudly as they ran onwards- they did run into one Amazon who must've been loyal to Hylla. As soon as she saw the escapees, she turned away like they were invisible.

Frank opened his mouth to ask the obvious question but Hazel shook her head.

"Not now, we'll explain later but some of them want us to escape-"

"Hylla's awesome." Percy piped up.

The second Amazon they met wasn't so friendly. She was dressed in full armor, blocking the throne-room entrance. She spun her spear with lightning speed, but this time Percy was ready. She already had Riptide at the ready and and she stepped into battle with the ease of someone who'd done it a thousand times before.. As the Amazon jabbed at her, she sidestepped, cut her spear shaft in half, and slammed the hilt of her sword against the girls helmet.

The guard crumpled and Percy smirked as Frank gasped, "Mars Almighty. How did you—that wasn't any Roman technique!"

"I know." Percy shot him a wink as she flourished her blade and winked, "The graecus has some moves my friends." because she was Greek- with her memories filtering back she was certain of that much. Not that Hazel and Frank had any time to question heron her statement.

And together they ran into the throne room. As promised Hylla and her guards had cleared out. Hazel dashed over to Arion's cage and swiped an Amazon card across the lock. Instantly the stallion burst forth, rearing in triumph.

Percy and Frank stumbled backward, though Percy glowered at the horse, "I said before watch your language!"

"Um…is that thing tame?" Frank said.

The horse whinnied angrily.

"Oh not even remotely." Percy poked her tongue out at Arion, "He just said 'I will trample you to death, silly Chinese Canadian baby man.'"

"You-" Frank blinked, "do you- wait baby man-"

"I speak horse yes- I speak almost all sea creatures languages, my dad made them it's a kid of Poseidon thing. Bellerophon could do it too."

"The point is." Hazel added quickly, "He's fast, he can get us out of here."

Frank did not look thrilled. "Three of us can't fit on one horse, can we? We'll fall off, or slow him down, or—"

Arion whinnied again, and Percy's mouth dropped open, "ARION! Watch your language- no I am not repeating what you just- no. Hazel he says there's a
chariot in the warehouse and he's willing to pull it."

They were interrupted before Hazel or Frank could say anything else by another voice. "There!" someone yelled from the back of the throne room. A dozen
Amazons charged in, followed by males in orange jumpsuits. When they saw Arion, they backed up quickly and headed for the battle forklifts.

Hazel vaulted onto Arion's back.

"I remember seeing that chariot! Follow me guys!"

"Oh this should be fun." Percy snorted as she and Frank fended off the Amazons attacking them before racing after Hazel, who had bowled into a patrol of Amazons- who all scattered in terror at the sight of Arion. And Hazel did make an impressive sight- swinging her spatha at anyone who dared to try and step closer. None of them were willing to truly challenge her. And Percy couldn't blame any of them.

Soon enough they reached the chariot and Arion stopped by the yoke.

Percy didn't even falter, lips twitching into a faint smile as she got to work harnessing up Arion to the chariot- she'd done it a thousand times before- she saw Annabeth grinning at her, eyes dancing with amusement- Chariot races weren't a common thing back at camp but they were allowed from time to time.

She, Annabeth and Luke had made the most terrifying team in the history of camp she knew that much, they were chaotic to say the least, and Percy was always the person in charge of the horses. It took her a matter of minutes to secure everything and she vaulted into the chariot, a huge grin on her lips as she did. "Frank, c'mon." she held out her hand, and Frank didn't hesitate, grabbing her hand and letting Percy haul him into the chariot, at which point Percy twisted to call out to Hazel, "Hazel! It's go time. Arion, bro, show us what you've got!"

A battle cry went up behind them. A full army of Amazons stormed into the warehouse. Otrera herself stood astride a battle forklift, her silver hair flowing as she swung her mounted crossbow toward the chariot. "Stop them!" she yelled.

Hazel spurred Arion. They raced across the cavern, weaving around pallets and forklifts. An arrow whizzed past Hazel's head. Something exploded behind her
and Percy glanced back, wincing, "Ooh, that's gonna be hard to clean up-"

"The stairs!" Frank yelled. "No way this horse can pull a chariot up that many flights of—OH MY GODS!" and Percy yelped too- grabbing onto the side of the chariot as Arion shot up the steps without even slowing. It made the chariot rattle and groan and Percy grabbed Frank's arm when he nearly toppled out over the side, yanking him down into the seat and pinning him with her arm across his chest.

Percy had thought that the ride down on the silver platter had been crazy but this was something else, it was all she could do to cling to the side of the chariot and keep Frank pinned in, he was gripping the other side of the chariot with a white knuckled grip as they raced away.

In both what felt like a lifetime and what felt like an instant at the same time they reached the lobby.

Arion crashed through the main doors into the plaza and scattered a bunch of guys in business suits.

"Ella!" Hazel shouted at the sky. "Where are you? We have to leave!"

For a horrible second, Percy was afraid the harpy might be too far away to hear. She might be lost, or captured by the Amazons. Gods but Percy was terrified by that thought.

Behind them a battle forklift clattered up the stairs and roared through the lobby, a mob of Amazons behind it.

"Surrender!" Otrera screamed as the forklift raised its razor-sharp tines. Percy wanted to turn around and flip her off- she could think of any number of smart ass comments but she didn't dare try.

"Ella!" Hazel cried desperately. Percy would have joined her if she wasn't genuinely afraid that she'd bite off her own tongue.

In a flash of red feathers, Ella landed in the chariot. "Ella is here. Amazons are pointy. Go now."

Percy instantly let go of Frank to grab Ella's arm, yanking her into the seat, Frank managing to slide across so that she was sat between them, Percy pressing her arm over Ella's chest as she did, a protective instinct flaring up.

Hazel glanced back at them then, a determined look on her face. "Hold on you guys!" she warned them before leaning forward, and Percy heard her urging "Arion, run."

And just like that the world seemed to elongate. Sunlight bent around them. Arion shot away from the Amazons and sped through downtown Seattle. Percy shifted, turning her head to look behind her and she saw a line of smoking pavement where Arion's hooves had touched the ground. He thundered toward the docks, leaping over cars, barrelling through intersections.

Percy blinked rapidly before turning forward again, her gaze meeting Hazel's as Hazel let out a scream of pure joy and delight- and Percy let out a scream as Arion reached the water and leaped straight off the docks- and Percy was willing to admit that as much as she kinda wished they could go back for the Poseidon's joy, a horse like Arion would be a lot faster than her precious ship. She closed her eyes- because this time she knew who she was really praying to.
Dad. I guess you already know I'm alive again, and I know I already prayed to you once to ask for it already but I prayed to Neptune then, I dunno how different you are from him, so now I'm praying to the dad I actually know. Since I'm starting to remember. Please, please make sure my ship gets home safely, to Montauk where it belongs. And... I'll see you again daddy. I promise you. Once this is all over I'll visit you in Atlantis.

She opened her eyes again just as her ears popped, and Percy winced at the sensation before her mouth dropped open in shock when she heard a strange roar and felt a shock wave rattling the chariot- and she heard Ella muttering about the speed they were coming. And it didn't take a genius to figure out what the noise had been. Percy let out a hysterical laugh, tilting her head up towards the sky and letting out a whoop- a sonic boom. They were travelling faster than the speed of sound. They'd broken the sound barrier.

Gods but this was insane, Percy couldn't even hear her laughter, the noise was whisked away in an instant. She caught Hazel's eyes when the other girl glanced back at at her, and she saw that look of pure wild glee, of true freedom in the other girls eyes and she managed a nod, a current of understanding flowing between them.

Then Percy's gaze shifted again, this time to Ella and Frank, Ella was wide eyed muttering about their speed still- which was actually really impressive, Percy wasn't sure how the harpy could tell but she was smart enough to not question it and Frank- Percy stifled a laugh when her gaze focused on the son of Mars, who was leaning over the edge of the chariot- and while Percy couldn't really hear it over the roaring in her ears she could see from the way his body was heaving that Frank was throwing up.

Clearly he wasn't a big fan of speed then. Well that wasn't that weird, it was a lot faster than humans were supposed to be able to travel.

Percy looked away, watching the world speed past so fast that Percy couldn't recognise anything really- it was all a blur.

When they reached land again Percy was almost disappointed- after all she always felt best by the sea. Though she did notice that they didn't slow down- they moved so fast that the cars looked like they were standing still.

And then she heard Frank yelling, "HAZEL! WE'RE BREAKING UP!"
