Hey guys! I hope you enjoy yet another chapter of Elysium goodness in which Theseus really needs a drink to deal with his annoying little sister, and in which Percy is badass and kinda adorably oblivious at times. Oh, and she really doesn't get how some people got Elysium and she is unafraid to point out that it is bullshit.

Undeath9087: The last chapter of the minific is them leaving Elysium, so there's one more full chapter set in Elysium after this- though it's not quite as upbeat as the first few. And yeah, Percy does not like Theseus at all. He did some pretty horrible things, but hey, she has other friends amongst the older heroes.
Weirdhead: Yep, and Percy is making the most of it.
Guest: Poseidon might dislike Odysseus but Percy likes him for a few reasons, one being that he's incredibly smart which reminds her of Annabeth, and another being that, y'know, he was one of Annabeth's favorite heroes. So she's like, well Annabeth liked him. That's good enough for me! Besides, they can bond over both kicking ass against Polyphemus.
The Official Clarisse: Percy's just there like 'Ugh, honestly can you guys do nothing without me?!' but of course she'd agree to come because let's face it, she'd never leave them to deal with it on her own. But it's gonna have a big impact, especially since you all already know she's not going to get to go home right away.
JjlovesPJOP: Ah someone after my own heart- will you accept it in the form of Percy publicly humiliating him at one of his own parties?
MKDemiGodzilla-Warrior: I mean Buford does exists- things just didn't go wrong in the way they did in the short story lol. And some of them she's great with and she likes, others... not so much.
Drizzle: It will be six chapters, there's two more left after this one.
Percy shook away her thoughts about her first day in Elysium- as pleasant as they were. They'd probably be at Theseus' party too. And she knew they'd be amused by Percy crashing the party- Helen would probably high five her. She actually liked the daughter of Zeus a lot. They'd grown close after their first meeting- the woman had been kidnapped by Theseus as a child- which was just another black mark against Theseus in Percy's opinion- no grown ass man should even think about a child that way, she didn't care that things had been different back then or that he'd decided to wait to marry her.
And then after that the poor woman had been offered up like a piece of meat by Aphrodite- and Percy knew that the goddess of love had probably made sure that Helen had fallen in love with Paris. She couldn't be blamed for what men had done because of her, just like Percy couldn't be blamed for things Alabaster had done to try and get to her.
In any case, Percy was determined to enjoy herself- and, well, when you're going to a party that probably had some of the greatest heroes to have ever lived attending, it only made sense to dress up- and dress up she did, in a sea green chiton that came to just below her knees, with strappy heeled sandals and a silver belt fastened around her waist.
She'd also decided to wear a pretty diadem that Bellerophon had gifted her- a golden band of metal, with elegant waves carved into it, and an upper arm band- golden, twisted metal with abalone and pearl- it had been a present from Helen- when she looked into the mirror she had to admit it was a striking look- she wished Annabeth and Rachel could see her, they'd love it she was sure. The only things that even slightly ruined the picture were her camp necklace and the denim bracelet- which she never took off, not ever.
Of course the boys- who she was willing to admit had stepped up to help her keep everyone in line, didn't go quite so over the top, they were wearing nice jeans and tees.
And they walked into Theseus' home together, his parties were usually fairly old fashioned- the music playing was ancient- understandably, but it was good music- she'd give him that much, and there were tables laden with food, and of course Theseus was used to grand things- the entrance into him home led into a large entrance hall with marble floors and pillars that would have made Annabeth and Rachel drool.
Percy grinned as she looked around- there were a fair number of people milling around, talking happily over the music, she spotted Perseus dancing with Andromeda, Bellerophon talking with Helen and Paris- and ahah. Just the man she wanted to see. Her gaze focused on Theseus- who was stood talking to several other men, clearly regaling them with one of his stories, an arrogant smirk on his annoyingly smug face as he ran his fingers through his dark curls, his sea green eyes glinting.
And honestly the resemblance they shared annoyed her, he was an asshole, any resemblance was too much- then she grinned as Sherman slid one arm around her waist on her right and Lee did the same on her left, flanking her as guards.
And she saw the moment Theseus spotted her- it was hard not to notice the way his eyes narrowed and he glared at her, and she smirked and gave him a jaunty little wave, "So boys. Shall we go fuck with my big brother?"
"Oh this should be fun." Sherman grinned, and together they made their way to Theseus. Who gave a forced smile.
"Persephone, sister I don't recall sending you an invite-"
"I know. You must have been so busy to forget me brother dear." Percy fluttered her eyelashes at him, "It's lovely to see you again-"
"Ah, your sister-" one of the men Theseus had been talking to spoke up.
Percy didn't recognise him- but there were a fair few heroes who she hadn't heard of so there was no ruling out of him being one of them, "Yes, his younger sister-"
"Say, are you the one who-"
"Who defeated the Minotaur twice-" because she knew Theseus liked to brag, she had no doubt that he had been telling the tale of how he'd killed the Minotaur- it was one of his favorites, "Once when I was twelve and then again when I was fifteen-" she saw
Theseus twitching and his friend laughed loudly- a booming noise that made her lips twitch.
"It seems that your sister's outdone you. Tell me Persephone- rumor has it that you faced down multiple Titans."
"She doesn't like to brag." Lee said lightly, "But from what I've been told she fought Iapetus, Hyperion and Kronos himself-"
"You must tell us some of your stories-"
"You should tell them the story of your fight with Polythemus." Sherman spoke up- and Percy was willing to hand it to them, they were definitely good back up when it came to humiliating her older brother, who looked very unimpressed.
"Of course." Percy smiled, "It will be my genuine pleasure- and perhaps afterwards I can tell you the story of my journey through the Labyrinth- it was all thanks to my girlfriend- she was a clear sighted mortal." Percy shot Theseus a smug look as he scowled and rolled his eyes, "She was amazing- without her we couldn't have done it- but then- I suppose 'Seus couldn't have done it without
Princess Ariadne." and Theseus looked like he was sucking lemons, he really did as he straightened up.
"As much as I'd love to hear my sister's stories of her grand victories I think I should go and get more wine." and as he turned away she heard him mutter, "I'm going to need it." and she resisted the urge to laugh as she launched into her stories- soon they were joined by Helen, who hugged her happily and greeted her with a warm smile and a wink.
"Persephone, darling you look beautiful."
"Speak for yourself." Percy laughed, grinning at the woman- she usually dressed in the ancient styles- long flowing chitons- her current one a silken red and gold fabric, her flowing blonde hair done in en elaborate updo and a golden diadem perched on her head- Percy could definitely see why she'd been claimed to be the most beautiful woman alive, her skin was flawless and her eyes a bright shining shade of blue.
Admittedly even if Percy wasn't still in love with her girlfriends the woman wouldn't be her type- she was into girls who could kick ass and take names- Helen was sweet and fairly smart but she wasn't a warrior. That was more and more obvious each time they met.
"Oh I think you outshine even me." Helen's voice was warm, "Boys, can I steal your friend, I think it would be nice to have some fun- your half brother might be a bit of an... what's a good word-"
"Asshole?"
"That works-" Helen laughed, "But he does throw good parties."
"He does." Percy let Helen drag her out onto the main open floor of the hall- and she laughed as Helen spun her around.
The music was fairly upbeat- fast and cheerful and Percy twirled and laughed brightly as she and Helen danced together, Helen laughing when Percy threw her arms up and spun herself around- barely even noticing how the area around them had cleared and several people were watching- though she did notice when she was caught mid spin by Perseus, who laughed loudly when she stumbled.
"Perseus!"
"Little cousin, you seem to be enjoying yourself."
"I always do." Percy let out a breathless laugh.
"You should be more careful-" his voice was almost amused, "You've drawn quite a lot of attention." as he spoke Perseus took her hand and started dancing with her.
"I'm pretty sure that's Helen more than me."
"Oh I wouldn't agree." Perseus chuckled, "I've noticed several men and women watching you dance since you started-"
"Don't be ridiculous-"
"Believe what you wish to- I shall defend your honor if needed. I've noticed Jason staring at you to be sure-"
"Hah!" Percy laughed, "Like I need anyone to defend my honor, if I could fend off Alabaster and Kronos' advances until the bitter end I think I can fend off anyone here's advances-"
"I'm sure you can." he spun her again, releasing her hand and letting her whirl away, the skirt of her dress flaring out around her as Bellerophon caught her.
"Little sister, tell me, have you been pestering Theseus again?"
"I wouldn't say pestering-"
"He's certainly glaring up a storm."
"He can go shove it." Percy grinned at her brother. It always struck her how he looked so much like Theseus- just less arrogant. She'd told him more than once that he was her favorite- they'd gotten quite close during her time in Elysium if she was honest. "Maybe if he was less of an arrogant dick I would be able to tolerate him-"
"You just think he was an ass for leaving Ariadne-"
"And for kidnapping a twelve year old girl to marry her when she was old enough." Percy made a gagging noise, "And he was a grown ass man at the time. And don't act like you don't dislike him too- you were so full of the chance to gossip about how full of himself he was when we first met."
"Well.. he is rather full of himself. In any case he can't compare to what you did. Technically you're a queen you know."
"Yeah, well." Percy gave a small shrug as she stepped in time with the music, "At least I got to kill the abusive bastard who made me queen."
"And in so doing you became one of the greatest heroes." Bellerophon laughed, "You truly are a credit to our father-"
"I try." Percy mock curtsied, stepping away from Bellerophon, who was whisked off in the crowd of dancers before she was being grabbed by a man- she recognised him, though she didn't like him. "You're Agamemnon. You know I'm still surprised you got Elysium-"
"I was a hero, of course I di-"
"You were a disgusting person who kidnapped Cassandra. I know the stories. And I'm not interested. Honestly I think you deserved the fate that you had in the end- it's just Cassandra who didn't."
"I'm sure you don't mean that-" the man went to pull her closer and Percy slipped her ring down her thumb and moving her arm quickly, digging the point of the ring into the mans neck and tilting her head slightly.
"Why do so many people seem to forget-" Percy raised an eyebrow, "that I have fought multiple Titans and I murdered my husband on our wedding day? Do you really think that I'd let you touch me all wandering hands and terrible breath? Honestly your type are all the same. You're even worse than Theseus" she pitched her voice low, a smirk crossing her lips as Agamemnon instantly removed his hand from her waist and stepped back, a bead of blood on his throat from where her ring had punctured the skin, and she smirked as she pushed it back down onto her finger. "There we go. Now you go away and leave me alone and we'll say no more about this-" she whirled around and almost collided with Odysseus, who raised an eyebrow.
"Is everything okay Persephone?" he laid a hand on her shoulder, a worried look on his face.
"Fine." Percy huffed the word, "Just dealing with an idiot who thought he had a right to lay his hands on me without my permission."
"I simply wanted to dance with the girl-" the older man glared at Percy as she glanced back over her shoulder. "Oddyseus-"
"You heard Persephone. You forget she's perhaps the greatest of us all. She's right you have no right to lay your hands upon her." that made Percy flush and grin as Agamemnon glared.
"I was hardly doing anything inappropriate, I just wanted to dance with the girl."
"Yes, and you did so, now fuck off before I gouge your eyes out with my thumb you creep."
"I'd do as she says." Oddyseus looked incredibly amused, "Women can be very fierce when riled."
"Fine!" Agamemnon glowered before turning away and storming off, and Percy turned to Odysseus, giving a small smile.
"Thank for that."
"I didn't do much, you didn't really need my help." the older heros lips twitched, "Come, I'd like to hear the tale of your journey through the sea of monsters and your brave battle with Polythemus."
"Now that sounds like a good time." Percy grinned.
"And I assume you'll spend half of the story telling me about your partners-"
"Annabeth to be specific this time." Percy laughed at Odysseus' knowing smile, "I'm that predictable."
"I find your love for your partners admirable. If we all were so loyal the world would be a better place."
