What's updog?

My name's Hope. I'm going into my senior year at Haverford College where I'm majoring in Russian. After graduation, I sort of want to go into the Peace Corps, except that the problem is that the Peace Corps generally chooses to not take people who sleepwalked (sleptwalked?) through all four years of schooling. I'll probably just take a year off and then drop a bunch of money on grad school. D= And then become a useless academic. This is why I gotta wear shades. Because my future's so bright.

I might also go to culinary school. I've recently become something of a foodie, and I can actually cook fairly well. Truefax: Although I've always enjoyed cooking, it was writing "Great Chieftain o' the Puddin Race" and doing all that food research that got me super into it. Thanks, fanfiction!

I can sometimes juggle a few fandoms at a time, but generally when I've abandoned a fandom it's gone for good. So sorry, Animorphs, Pokemon, Final Fantasy, Xenogears, The West Wing, Angel Sanctuary, Count Cain, Xenosaga, and Suikoden, in that order. And also FMA? Not sure. I really want to finish up Memento Mori at some point.

My current goals in writing are to (a.) use fewer semicolons and (b.) write less pretentious. I'm really trying to move into a less pretentious phase in my writing. That is going SUPER WELL for me.

I'm very open to requests. I'll take 'em and gladly, as long as they're manageable - I'm not gonna get into a new fandom, most likely, but you can beer me anything from canon to crack. Just hit me up with a PM, yo.
