![]() Author has written 5 stories for Gundam Seed, and My Little Pony. I am a not so simple guy from Eastern Europe. Latvia, to be precise. And most people usually say that I'm a person with a great sense of humor, diplomatic and from time to time lacking, what people call "sanity" due to my unusual view on things, smart-ass comments and my ridiculous reasoning. I'm also lazy as hell and when I'm not quiet and thoughtful, I'm talkative enough to piss off anyone I want. As a member of FanFiction I'm used to work at my own pace, although sometimes I urge myself to work faster. Regarding the works of my fellow writers (which might include you), I tend to be very picky about what I choose to read. I usually like stories with lots of action and a touch of romance for balance. Still, action is the more important factor, because I don't like to read purely romance based stories. Another thing which I also like in stories, and mine included, is a grim and slightly dark touch to them. I like it when the heroes are hard-pressed in order to achieve victory. I like it when they have to make sacrifices and difficult decisions. And I absolutely love it when the good guys sometimes play dirty (torture, manipulation, blackmail or kidnapping.) Regarding OCs, I don't mind them being in a story. The only thing I hate about them if they have ungodly superpowers, while having "pathetic" weaknesses like, susceptible to death only at 3:52 AM on 6th of September if it falls into Tuesday or unable to fart in the moonlight. The only other thing that will make me immediately stop reading your story is grammar. And by this I don't mean missed commas or typos ... after all we're still human. English isn't my native language and one of my main reasons for being here is to improve and expand my vocabulary. So, if I have to gnaw my way trough several pages of horribly spelled words, glaring mistakes and curse you for not proofreading then, sorry. No. The plot might be top notch, but if you don't even try to fix your grammar, then all I can give you are a few taps on the "back" key. |
