I am very very happy that you all liked the last chapter, getting so many reviews made my day honestly. Please please do keep it up because it made me so happy. And I gotta say, Percy is the ultimate shipper of Solangelo, supportive Percy is the best- anyways, I have a question, how do people think I should do the HoO swap? Should it still be Jason, should I shake things up, have it be Reyna or something? I want to hear your opinions- and I wanna know what you guys think about ships for Piper, Reyna and Jason and such, should I stick to cannon or what? Though I will say Frazel will happen because that shit is cute. I'm just not as sure about Jasiper because Hera messed with their memories and that doesn't sit right.
Percy blinked at that before she let out a laugh, moving her arm away from Will so that he could hop off Zeus' fist.
"Okay, okay." she grinned widely, "I'm liking your enthusiasm- feel a bit weird about the fact that I actively want someone to kiss my dumbass baby brother stupid but honestly I am all for it right now."
"Good." Will took a deep breath, "I can't believe I'm going to do this. Oh gods- it's Nico he's-"
"No, no, no getting yourself all freaked out." Percy's voice was stern as she grabbed Will's arm and started dragging him back through the woods, "No way am I going to let you talk yourself out of this Willace Solace. You are gonna find my brother and you're gonna kiss him silly do you hear me?"
"I hear you- and you know that my name isn't Willace-" Will laughed, which was what Percy had been aiming for, "Are you sure he likes me?"
"Oh for-" Percy threw her hands up, "Dear gods you're both ridiculous. Why do I even bother-"
"Okay okay." Will let out a laugh despite himself as they trudged through the woods and towards the Big House, Will visibly straightening up as they walked, his expression slowly turning more and more determined.
And soon enough they were approaching the Big House- and Percy found herself smiling when she saw that Nico was on the porch with Luke rubbing his back comfortingly and Kayla by his side.
When Nico looked up and his eyes widened Percy forced back the urge to squeal at the surprise and hope and nerves on her little brothers face as he pulled away from Luke and Kayla and bound down the steps of the porch.
"Percy! Will- Will are you- I'm sorry if I upset you earlier-"
"Shut up!" And Will was breaking into a run and Percy was almost bouncing on the balls of her feet as Will reached Nico grabbing the son of Hades arm and yanking him in close, other arm wrapping around Nico's waist as he let go of Nico's arm and cupped his cheek in the palm of his hand before he pressed their lips together, and Percy nearly whooped when Nico unfroze from his shock and wrapped his arms around Will, tangling his fingers into the son of Apollo's blond hair.
"Holy shit-" that came from Kayla, who was grinning widely, "About damn time!"
"I did not need to see that." Luke blinked, "I so didn't need to see that."
"Hush now Luke. It's cute." Percy was grinning when the two boy parted, Nico's eyes wide with shock, his face flushing a bright red.
"Y- you kissed me-"
"Nico Di Angelo, I'll come to your moms wedding if it's as your boyfriend."
"My boyfriend?" Nico's expression was honestly adorable Percy decided- and she did cheer when he yanked Will back into a second kiss, and when they parted again Nico said. "Definitely my boyfriend-" Nico's eyes narrowed slightly, "Will- are you- are you glowing?" and Will's face went bright red and Kayla let out a cackle- because he was, it was faint but Will was literally glowing.
"Shut up-"
"That, is the cutest shit I have ever seen." Percy declared, "Oh my gods Will is literally glowing-"
"And we're leaving to let the happy couple talk-" Luke was grabbing the back of Percy's tee and dragging her away quickly, ignoring her startled protests and flailing.
"But Luke!"
"No buts Sephie." Luke's voice was amused, "Let them have the chance to talk-"
"You're so boring." but Percy let him drag her away anyway, and she could see Kayla heading off in the other direction.
Eventually she stopped her struggling, pulling herself free.
"Can you believe it's finally happened?"
"Honestly no." Luke let out a laugh, "I could have done without having to see my younger brother getting kissed like that though-"
"But Luke it's adorable-"
"You've been waiting for this day for far too long." Luke gave a wry smile, "You've got a habit of meddling in peoples love lives-"
"Yeah yeah." Percy waved a hand dismissively, "You and Thalia make a great couple and so do Nico and Will. I can't mess with Leo's because he's in love with Calypso so I don't need to tell him to make a move."
"You're ridiculous Sephie." Luke flung an arm over Percy's shoulder, tugging her close. "Totally ridiculous."
"What can I say, I have a gift. Even Silena isn't as good at matchmaking as I am-"
"She's too busy making out with Beckendorf these days." Luke laughed.
"Hey, it's not like you don't enjoy making out with Thalia, you can hardly blame them for making their most of things-"
"I don't, believe me." Luke grinned.
"How are things with you and Pinecone face-"
"Really good." Luke admitted, a smile playing across his lips, "She's said that no matter where I go to college I'm not going to shake her off which I assume is a good thing-"
"Eh, just fly, that'd shake her off-"
"Sephie," Luke almost choked on his laughter, his eyes wide, "Don't be mean-"
"What- I'm just being honest!"
"I'll have you know she's been working on that fear thank you very much." Luke shook his head, "Admittedly she nearly broke my hand last time we went somewhere high up but she's making progress. No teasing her-"
"She'd just zap me if I did." Percy remarked lightly. "Still, I'm glad for you guys."
"It's amazing." Luke admitted, "I- I mean I'm actually dating her. I'm dating a girl who could kick my ass in her sleep- she's-"
"Please don't go all sappy." Percy poked her tongue out, "I don't need to know how madly in love you are with Thalia."
"As if you're any better." Luke snickered, "You're one of the sappiest girls I've ever met when it comes to romance." Luke paused, "And on that subject, what in Hades name is going on between you, Annabeth and Rachel?" his voice was incredulous, "Because I mean- both of those girls are very clearly madly in love with you and and I don't think even you could be that blind to it-"
"No, no I know-"
"Then what is going on?" Luke shook his head, "Because I genuinely do not understand, there's no way that your friendship-"
"Not a friendship." Percy piped up, "The correct term is relationship-"
"Rel-" Luke blinked, "Percy-"
"We're a trio- like those stupid love triangles in books except, y'know, no one gets hurt. We've all agreed that we all like each other and it works for us."
Luke blinked slowly, clearly taking the news in, "Okay. That's... something very new and I don't know if I really understand how it works but- as long as you guys know what
you're doing then I guess I'm happy with you. Does anyone else know?"
"Mom, Nico, Leo." Percy listed, "And Grover-"
"And how did this happen?" Luke was blinking rapidly, "I mean when did you start-"
"Well, Annabeth kissed Rachel after she hit Kronos in the eye with a blue plastic hairbrush-"
"She-" Luke blinked before letting out a laugh, "You didn't mention that part."
"It was amazing." Percy got a rather dreamy look on her face, "It was right after Kronos had risen, I was terrified, trapped, and then the others arrived and Rachel just pulled out her hairbrush and threw it right at him. He was so shocked we actually got away. It was- amazing."
"I have to admit, my respect for Rachel has just soared." Luke was smiling- it was rare Percy looked so happy when talking about what happened over those days.
"Annabeth was the one who actually made the first move- she just kissed Rachel and then I kissed Rachel and we agreed that we'd have a talk when we made it back home after saving camp and we did so-"
"So you agreed that you'd be a trio rather than a couple." Luke nodded, "Okay. That's- honestly as long as you're happy I'm fine Sephie."
"I really, really am." Percy admitted, "I- I have some days that aren't so great but- I'm so lucky Luke. Annabeth and Rachel... I don't know what I did to deserve them-"
"Well, I may be biased but merely existing makes you pretty awesome in my books." Luke declared, "Though I will say, as your big brother, if either of them hurt you I will end them-"
"Yeah yeah." Percy laughed, "We both know Annabeth could take you blindfolded and Rachel's learning quick-"
"I feel like I should be offended." Luke remarked with a wry smile. "But honestly I'm not." he squeezed Percy's shoulder gently, "On a more serious note Sephie..." he took a deep breath, "How are your therapy sessions going?"
"Fine." Percy pulled a face, "Well I mean, as fine as anyone would expect anyway. I have one tomorrow actually." She hesitated, "It is weird- talking to Mr. D about everything but... it helps."
"You haven't had any issues lately?" Luke's voice was filled with concern- and of course it was, she was pretty sure he'd not yet gotten over hearing the way she'd screamed when the lock on her door had jammed and she hadn't been able to get out. He'd never seen her like that before, it had scared him.
"I-" Percy considered lying before she sighed, "I did have a little freak out on the beach the day we brought Lou Ellen to camp but Rachel and Annabeth brought me back to myself and we know what triggered it so we know how to avoid it happening again."
Luke's lips pressed together tightly and he let out a breath. "I hate the fact that... that you went through what you did-"
"So do I. But neither of us can change the past." Percy almost burrowed into his side, "And Luke, I know you too well, stop blaming yourself for it-"
"I'm supposed to be your big brother I'm supposed to protect you Sephie-"
"Luke-" Percy rolled her eyes, "I'm way past the point where I need you to protect me from the world. You're living your life for you now dumbass, you've got Thalia now, she's good for you. Your life should have never revolved around protecting me."
"I swore the day you were born-"
"I know, and you've done a pretty good job if you ask me." Percy gave him a teasing little grin, "I've grown up happy and healthy. You've done your job."
"I know." Luke's lips twitched, "It is weird thinking about actually moving on and doing adult things-"
"Luke you literally are an adult-"
"An adult who's spent the last few years living at a summer camp and training kids on how to fight monsters or wandering around the country having adventures."
"I mean, I can think of worse ways to spend a life-"
"I need to settled down eventually though." Luke admitted, "As strange as it feels to say."
"You know, you could start applying to colleges now-"
"No." Luke shook his head, "Not until after the war's over. I don't want to be distracted by mortal stuff when we've got so much other stuff going on-"
"You mean you want to be able to stay close and keep an eye on me." Percy gave a wry smile, "You're worried about the prophecy-"
"It's not just you I want to keep an eye on but yeah." Luke shrugged unashamed. "I mean, you've literally got the weight of the world on your shoulders-"
"Uh, no, no-" Percy held up a finger to pause him, a grin on her lips "That was the sky and Atlas has that again now-"
"Sephie-" Luke laughed, shoving her gently, "That's not funny-"
"Maybe not, but, I mean. It's true-"
"Gods. My little sister literally held up the sky at one point-"
"I also tossed a dude off a cliff on the same day." Percy pointed out, "It's not that big a deal-"
"Oh you tossing Alabaster off the cliff is something I think of very fondly." Luke waved a hand, "But that's not the point, you know I think you've probably done more than any single other hero, you know that?" and Percy felt her face flushing.
"Shut up Luke!" she shoved him, "I haven't-"
"You wanna know what I think?"
"And what is it you think?"
"That you're the greatest hero to have ever lived Sephie. I know one thing for sure. You're my hero."
