Hello. I am ancient and grumpy. I had an account here years ago, but it was all stuff for fandoms I'm not interested in anymore, so I'm starting fresh.

In between attempting to get novels published I sometimes write about shady characters, monsters, and spooks. They range from silly fluff to dark and violent (or a mixture of all of the above, somehow). These days I only post things that are either finished or very likely to be finished. Don't panic if I have long streaks between updates, that's a thing I do and I apologize in advance.

Most of my favorite tropes involve enemies-to-lovers dynamics, power struggles, good people doing things they know they shouldn't, and villains who are complex and nuanced (but still horrible, horrible people). I prefer characters to be IN character, even in fics with the crackiest of premises, otherwise what's the point?

I love getting constructive criticism. You don't have to worry about wounding or offending me, I got skin as thick as a rhinocerous'. That said, y'know, make sure your criticism is actually constructive?

Other hobbies include video games, playing with my tiny dog, crochet, and cyborgs.
