I've received so many wonderful reviews and notifications from those who have stumbled upon Beautiful Oblivion, each leaving me with a deeper regret that I have been unable to continue it for a full decade now. It's hard to believe it's been so long! I've considered taking it down on multiple occasions, but it seems that there are readers who have sincerely been able to enjoy the story despite its WIP status even now; because of this, I've chosen to leave it up. I know how disappointing it is to find out that a story you've wanted to reread has completely disappeared from existence, so I'd hate to do that to anyone else.

However, while I know that my love for the book and its characters will never die, I'm afraid that I have lost touch with the original vision I had for this story and I can say now with certainty that this fic has been abandoned. I apologize deeply to anyone who still had hope for an update.

To everyone who has left even a single word of encouragement: Your positive reinforcement has helped me so much over these years and I cannot thank you enough.
