Howdy, and thanks for checking out my profile! My name shall remain anonymous but y'all can call me Jay. I'm a guitar player, a music hound, amateur writer. I'm a one of a kind welding weirdo hailing from the magical land of Oklahoma!

I picked up writing almost two years ago now and I've been a Sonic the Hedgehog fan for as long as I can remember. Ever since Sega's launch to 3-D back in 1999 and my subsequent discovery of the Archie comics and SatAM I've enjoyed the alternative canons more so than the actual games. Any stories that I write in the future would probably revolve solely around those franchises. My favorite character from the series has to be Tails and most of my ideas that I have in my head showcase him as the main protagonist.

Speaking of which, I actually have my own little series going. First story being "Gone with the Wind" which is completed. Second and third is "Shattered Skies" and "Family Ties" respectively, which the latter is now complete. The base of my stories is more so rooted in the SatAM TV show, with additional elements from the old Archie comics. I'd like to think that I've brought a unique point of view to my own head canon and I've really enjoyed writing the series.

So just remember, if an ole' blue collar boy like me, who hasn't taken an English class in 7 years, can write a story, so can you! If you have a coherent idea for a story, throw it out there; you've got nothing to lose! You just might find your own author's voice that you didn't even know that you had. I kept an idea in my head for over two years simply because of my own apprehension, don't make the same mistake I did. It is well worth it just to get it out there! Anyway... I'll step down off of my soapbox now.

Also, please quit asking me to roleplay... I ain't into that sorta thing.

Story Statuses

Gone with the Wind: (formerly named “Kidnapped) Tails is kidnapped during the night. Who took him and why? It's up to Sonic, Sally and the other freedom fighters to find out what happened to their youngest member and bring him home safely, but what other dangers lie ahead? Set in an alternate SatAM timeline. Rated T (Complete)

Shattered Skies: (Sequel to "Gone with the Wind") The war with Robotnik has led to many changes with the Freedom Fighters. Tails finds himself plunged into a combat role and is faced with multiple split-second decisions; the consequences in which, even at his young age he will have to process and live with. Rated T for content and violence. (Sorta-Hiatus)

Family Ties: Two years after Robotnik's fall, Tails is faced with old wounds and childhood fears as his biological mother comes in search of her long-lost child. Sally Acorn had found the fox as a tiny cub and had loved him and raised him, but she too is faced with the harsh question "Is blood truly thicker than water?" Learning to Fly: Tails has always felt a certain kinship with the skies above Mobius. It was a sacred place, a secret resort that few ever dared to explore. It was also the place that he sought out comfort and refuge, and a place to reconnect with a now gone friend. (Oneshot)
