How My Profile Works: Top stuff is general info. It will likely never change. The middle section is for serious projects that I haven't posted yet. It's sort of like a preview of possible future content. The bottom section is for updates. If I'm not updating stories frequently, I like to update once a month to prove I'm still alive. This section changes the most often. Whenever I feel like my profile is too long, I prune some of the unnecessary updates.

I'm putting this at the top because it's the most important bit of information for my readers. I have ADHD, so it's hard for me to stick with long term projects like my stories. The BEST way to tell my brain to keep working/return to writing a story is reviews. More explanation down below.

Please nitpick my stories to the nth degree. I don't have a beta, and no one but me checks my spelling and grammar, so please help make the story better for yourself and other readers. I mostly write AU, but sometimes I get ideas for one-shots of characters' lives after their books.

I sort my stories into three categories: old, new, and unposted/uncreated. Blue Moon, Darkest Hours, and The Serum are the old ones. Art of Normality, Sunrise, Drifting, Dying Wish, and Isolation are the new ones. There are around 55 unposted/uncreated ones, so I won't even get into those.

If I restart Blue Moon, it would generally go in the same plot arc as the Twilight series. Bella would fight James and then Edward and Bella live HEA.

Darkest Hours would either end in Bella dying because of the conflicting venoms in her and Edward committing suicide, or Bella living because vampires are immortal with a HEA ending.

The Serum would probably go in the same arc as Divergent but with the war ending in Insurgent, and Allegiant not existing. How that works is like this: Tris doesn't get shot -- Jeanine tests her serum on Tris and Tris ends up running the simulation -- Tris doesn't shoot Will -- In Insurgent, Tris can actually use a gun -- Even though she still suffers survivor's guilt and impulsivity from PTSD, Tobias knows that she can protect herself and trusts her more -- Tris also communicates with him better because she doesn't have to lie about killing Will -- Tris tells Tobias that she doesn't trust Evelyn, and they actually have an open conversation about allying with the factionless -- Tobias recognizes that he's biased in this area and refuses his nomination, leading to Tris becoming a Dauntless leader -- Cue turn of events very similar to the final battle at the end of Insurgent, except the faction system doesn't get abolished, and the surviving faction leaders (including Tris) decide that they don't have enough Divergents to justify opening the gate, because a bunch died in the war, and they also reform some parts of the system.

Also, I'm trying to give all my stories cover art, and the ones that don't have any are the ones that I have no idea what to make for them, so any suggestions are appreciated!

More on the ADHD thing: My ADHD makes it incredibly hard to sit still and do something that I'm not motivated to do, even if I like doing it! I love writing but sometimes I can't find the motivation to put words on the page, even if I know exactly how the scene goes.

How reviews help: Reviews are lovely reminders that people enjoy the content I'm putting out. Even really short ones help! Also, sometimes I forget that my stories exist until I get an email notification with a review. Long reviews help even more! What did you like about the chapter? What do you want to see more of? What do you think is unrealistic? This information literally helps me put words on the page and post chapters.

Proof that I'm not just review hunting: Seriously guys, when do you(readers) ever check reviews before reading something? Most readers don't even sort stories by review number, so this is NOT self-promotion. For those of you that are writers, you know how rewarding it is to get positive reviews on your story! Now imagine that all authors got that feeling when they read a positive review. Guess what, you've just imagined real life.

Notes: This is the "beast of a Red Queen fic" you've heard me talk about in updates. I've rewritten the first 9 chapters, which are now one long prologue, more times than I can count. So yeah.

Name: A Shadowhunter’s Twilight (Subject to change)

Fandom: Shadowhunter's Chronicles, Twilight

Summary: Edward left Bella so she could live a long and happy human life. Well, too bad she’s not human. Isabella Highsmith, Shadowhunter extraordinaire and part angel to boot, was sent to Forks to investigate an unusual breed of Vampires. Now that the vampires are gone, her mission is over, just in time for her to help search for her friend Jace and prepare for the oncoming war with Sebastian.

Notes: This is actually a summary for the second arc, not the first. I honestly haven't decided whether I want to have the first arc be a prequel or not. You might be able to tell why this fic makes me want to bang my head against the wall.

Update 1/14/19: So, I have a new rule for myself not to post anything until it's finished, and I'm working on some new fics right now, so the only posted fic that I'm going to finish anytime soon is Dying Wish because that only has about 4 chapters left. Also, the fics I'm working on are from the Red Queen, Hunger Games, Jurrasic Park, Percy Jackson, Harry Potter, and Twilight fandoms. If you haven't read/watched any of them, go do that. They're all 100% gold. Except maybe Twilight. The only good thing about that fandom is the fanfics.

Update 5/4/19: Happy Star Wars Day, y'all! Right now I'm mostly working on this Red Queen fic that I have written 7 chapters for and 37 more chapters outlined. It'll probably reach far more than that. I know this will probably annoy most of my readers that come from the Twilight fandom, but I'm not feeling as much inspiration for those stories as I used to. I will hopefully either outline or finish all of my posted stories over the summer. I'm still interested in either adopting out or collabing on any of my stories. May the Fourth be with you!

Update 6/30/20: Good news for Blue Moon fans, I am in the process of revising it (A big job, since the writing is pretty terrible). I actually extended the story plot to go through Breaking Dawn, and I have it outlined up to Eclipse. Bad news for Blue Moon fans, I probably won't post any updates until I'm finished with the Twilight arc, because I don't want to post stuff and get people's hopes up and then abandon it again. Hope y'all are staying safe with the pandemic and stuff!

Update 9/28/20: So I've decided to do proof-of-life checks because of the pandemic. I know I've always wondered if authors are alive when they haven't posted anything in years. So here is proof that your PMs and reviews aren't being sent to a dead person's inbox! That means if one of you starts nagging me to post, your nagging is reaching me and I am slightly more motivated! (Yay, I guess)

Update 10/6/20: October proof of life check! I am still alive and I've got some fun stuff in the works! Blue Moon is outlined until the beginning of Eclipse, and I'm sporadically revisiting that. Sunrise also has a general outline, but it's fuzzy right now and some feedback would help! I am also still working on that beast of a Red Queen fic, but I let myself lose the narrative voice of Mare because I didn't touch it for a few months, so it'll take a while to get that back on track. I've also started working on a TwilightxShadowhunters crossover that I've outlined, and so far it's slated to have 3 arcs(idk if I want to post it as separate stories or not), and at least 1 outtake. So yeah. Half the work on these stories (and others) is cleaning up 13 yro me's mess. Seriously, I have no clue how she got any words on the page without an outline or even an ending in mind!

Update 11/9/20: November proof of life check! I was actually about to work on Blue Moon before I remembered I haven't done November proof of life yet. I still need some serious feedback on Sunrise because I've seriously hit a dead end on that one. I love the premise of the story, but In Embry/Bella romance that is only about Embry/Bella romance, and I don't want to follow the whole "Jealous Ex Trope" with Jacob or Edward... I feel like they deserve better than that, ya know? I wish I could give concrete updates on the massive Red Queen fic or the TwilightxShadowhunters crossover, but I haven't done much work on those except stare at the page and replot parts of my outlines. So yeah.

Update 12/7/20: December proof of life check! Guys guys guys I have just discovered the Twilight Renaissance on Tumblr!! So, I have been filled with new ideas to put in my Twilight stories and I'm just really feeling the writing vibes right now. I just finished Chapter 4 of my TwilightxShadowhunters crossover (And it has, like, 2,000-word chapters) and I'm about to dig back into Blue Moon, so that's fun. I've also figured out a good balance between planning every single itty bitty detail out and the flying-by-the-seat-of-my-pants writing styles, so that bodes well for my productivity. I think once I have 4 chapters of the revised Blue Moon, I'll post them. I cut some stuff out, so 4 chapters of the revised Blue Moon should put us around where we were in the old version of Blue Moon. Anyways, peace out, y'all.

Update 1/20/21: Okay so I know I'm super late on my January proof of life and I am VERY sorry if I worried y'all. I haven't made as much progress on my stories as I'd like; real life got in the way. School is full-time in-person now, and I'm swamped with standardized test prep right now. Since I only need to write 2 more chapters to get Blue Moon up to speed, I think I'll post those four chapters before the rest of it is finished. I also think I can use it as a warm-up for serious WIP stuff, so hopefully, I can get the revised Blue Moon posted before my next proof of life, or at least have 1 of 2 chapters written for that. No news on the TwilightxShadowhunters front, not anything about the beast of a Red Queen Fic. Oooh, also, I think I'll release their titles and summaries sometime soon. I would still super appreciate some help brainstorming ideas for Sunrise, I am out of ideas other than a bland slice of life-y type thing (and I refuse to use the weird and overrated cliché where Edward tries to take Bella back from her imprinter against her will. Edward has his creepy moments, sure, but he deserves better than that.)

Update 2/8/21: So you know how I said that I might have the revised Blue Moon posted before my next proof of life? Hahaha... About that... So I do still need to finish 2 chapters before I post it, half of one of those chapters is done! I underestimated the ability of real life to be a time suck, so yeah :/ . In other news, if you haven't noticed, the summaries and working titles of my TwilightxShadowhunters and Red Queen fics are up now, so I will cease referring to them as such! Later I'll probably clean up my profile, and pair down the previous updates, but probably not before I have the revised Blue Moon posted. You guys can yell at me if you see a nice organized profile but no revised Blue Moon.

Update 3/6/21: So guess who hasn't written the 2 chapters of Blue Moon that she said she would write two months ago... sorry about that... The scenes in the 3rd chapter have been killing me. I've had to rewrite them SO many times, BUT I've finally figured out how to fix them, and I think the 4th chapter will be easier than the 3rd. AFTER I have those up, I'll probably clean up my profile. The only progress on the Love Is Colorblind front is a huge replot of the prologue... which I've already rewritten so many times... yay...

Update 5/12/21: Time for another proof of life check! This week has been absolutely exhausting and will continue to be exhausting, so yeah. _ . I have regained motivation for Blue Moon!!! I realized that no character other than Bella made sense in the revised version, and I really have to write the next two chapters in another character's POV and I'm in that process rn. So it will take longer because I'm kinda writing 2-3 chapters for the 1 chapter that I will actually publish. Unfortunately, any progress I make on that front these next few weeks means that I'm probably procrastinating something that I need to do for Real Life. Joy.

Update 6/6/21: June proof of life!! In a turn of events that surprised even me, my motivation drought was broken by... Dying Wish??? That's right folks, you heard it here first, I am in the process of writing another chapter for Dying Wish and the story might just turn out to be more chapters than I thought it would be. I high-key want to go back and revise previous chapters, but I decided that I can't revise something that's not wholly there, so I think I might even finish it before revising. Blue Moon will still definitely be getting a revision before I finish it though because let's be real here, Blue Moon needs a revision.

Update 7/11/21: July proof of life! Guys guys guys I might actually finish Dying Wish!!! It's turning out to be way longer than I thought it would be but I'm only one or two chapters away from being done! I think I might even break my own rule and start posting the chapters before it's finished, just because I am so close to being done with it. There's definitely going to be a revision going on for that sometime after I finish revising Blue Moon. Fair warning though, guys, I might be Twilighted out after I finish Dying Wish, so I might work on some stuff for other fandoms before I go back to the Blue Moon revision.

Update 8/2/21: August proof of life! I finished Dying Wish, guys! Yes, I'm still riding that high. I know I said last month that I might be Twilighted out after Dying Wish, but I actually just started working on a Teen WolfxTwilight crossover. In other news, I'm a little stuck with the Blue Moon revision, because I need to rewrite a chapter or two and I just reeeeeally don't want to do it. To summarize my problem: I need to write the third chapter, but my brain won't envision the scenes that I need to write about because of reasons, and I think it will help if I go back and rewrite the previous chapter, but my brain doesn't want to envision the scenes for that chapter, either. So I'm just stuck. On the Love Is Colorblind front, I've just realized that I need to rewrite the prologue for the third time because it's too long. Can you see why I feel like starting a new project?

Update 9/12/21: September proof of life! I'm a little late on this one, sorry guys. Real life is kicking my butt. I'm really not feeling Blue Moon, Love is Colorblind, or my TwilightxShadowhunters fic right now. What I am totally feeling is my new Teen WolfxTwilight crossover, which has a working title of Not Dead Yet. If you liked the themes of Bella finding herself after Edward left and her actually getting attached to life as a human from Dying Wish, you will definitely like Not Dead Yet. The first two arcs only have Bella in them from Twilight, but we get Edward and co. in the story at the end of the second arc. I'm trying really hard to condense the first two arcs so we can get to Edward faster, but there's only so much I can do without putting it all in one 50k word chapter. Twilight fans who haven't seen Teen Wolf: a) I'm sorry and b) you can find Teen Wolf on Hulu, Amazon Prime, and probably pirated somewhere. It's good, I promise. Mind you, it peaks at the second season and the fifth season is almost irredeemable, but it does make an impressive comeback for the sixth season.

Update 10/9/21: October proof of life! My muse is going full steam ahead on Not Dead Yet but idk when it will be ready to post because it is at 61k words with only 10 chapters, so it needs some revision. I will probably end up posting it before it is finished because the entire thing will be so insanely long when I finally finish it, and it will probably take me like an entire year to write it, and I don't want to wait that long to post it. I think I'll feel comfortable posting it when I'm at maybe 20ish chapters, but I still don't think that'll be enough of a buffer, so, we'll see.

Update 11/7/21: November proof of life! I just realized that in the last update, I typed Dying Wish instead of Not Dead Yet, and so it sounded like I was at 61k words and counting with Dying Wish. Whoopsie daisy. I'm in the process of revising the first 10 chapters of Not Dead Yet because I'm losing Bella's inner voice in the later chapters and I think it's because my earlier chapters don't have a lot of characterization for her. Basically, I've gave her some character development, and now she has the inner voice of a Generic Female BAMF (which is, ironically, the inner voice that she has for my TwilightxShadowhunters fic), and that is not the voice that she is supposed to have for this fic. In other news, I'm also working on a Scisaac Oneshot from Teen Wolf. If you can't tell already, my muse is really living in the Teen Wolf fandom right now.
