Finding the Balance: writing chapter 5 [06/19/20]

I have 4 on-going stories at the moment. A Christmas Story is completed, but I'm continuing the plotline in a series of oneshots.

1. Game, Set, and Match! This is my main story that I plan on updating every Sunday whenever I can. It's a high school AU where Oliver Davis is the SPR Academy's 2nd year Boys' Tennis Team captain. Sorry, updates will be slightly slower now since I'm planning on taking a class so I'll be busier. But I am still definitely going to be working on this one, promise! [IN PROGRESS]
2. Compana Copa Vida Menotti Barista AU. Oliver Davis pretends to be Eugene Davis for 15 days, much to the annoyance of Mai Taniyama, prospective roommate of Gene. Told in a nonlinear story format. [IN PROGRESS?]
3. Finding the Balance a story focusing on Mai, Masako, and Naru set 10 years later after Akumu. [IN PROGRESS]
4. A Christmas Story Short story set right after the Akumu no Sumu Ie sequel. Naru and Mai sort out their feelings for each other. This is my own head canon. [COMPLETE]
5. Full Disclosure Oneshot set 2 months after ACS. How would Naru announce his relationship with Mai? [COMPLETE]
6. Letting Go Oneshot set 4 months after ACS. Naru and Gene finally have a much needed conversation sorting out their feelings for their favored brunette. [COMPLETE]
7. So They Have Kissed Oneshot set ~2 years after ACS. Yasuhara manages to win a bet against Naru and the team ends up playing the weirdest game of Truth or Dare. I had the most fun writing this particular story. SPR team are such dorks. [COMPLETE]
8. Haunted Houses and Ghosts Oneshot, set ~3 years after ACS. Yasuhara bests Naru once again and gets him to play a round of DnD SPR-style with the gang. A parody of our beloved show, but without managing to make people OOC. Quite proud of this one. [COMPLETE]
9. Unlikely Brothers Oneshot set 10 years after ACS. Naru and Yasuhara meet up for a drink and catch up with things. Naru asks for Yasu's advice and Yasu happily obliges. [IN PROGRESS]

Schrodinger's Cat Originally meant to be part of my piece for the Davis Twins birthday event, to be called "First Sports Day", but I didn't know where it was headed so I scrapped it. I managed to salvage this idea though. [COMPLETE]

Fluffshot Series Random oneshots that have no relation with each other. Just some random ideas I flesh out. [COMPLETE]

Journey of the Crack-ship exploration of rareships, but wasn't very popular so I don't have much inspiration to continue. I might pick it up again one of these days [Temporary Hiatus]

Introspection I will update when I can. Set after the GH manga ends. Naru has returned from England after 1 year, leaving Mai to sort through her confusing emotions. With Gene, and now Yasuhara, in his way, Naru finds it even more difficult to come to terms with his feelings for Mai. [CANCELLED]

Next Step Forward attempted one-shot, but is too long and will be broken down into 4 chapters. Set 5 years after ACS. Due to Naru's busy schedule, he and Mai haven't been able to spend as much time together, resulting in a sexually frustrated Mai cornering a nonplussed Naru in his office. Naru comes to realize that maybe he hasn't been putting as much effort into his relationship with Mai as he could... and that definitely needs to change. [HIATUS]
