Fuyuki Japan - 2004 Frebruary
Standing on top of the hill, bathed in the sunlight of dawn, the Master and his Servant stand face to face eachother. One a boy with auburn hair and eyes of golden copper, the other is a girl
"Shirou, I love you" with her confession Saber dissapear from the world, returns to the hellish battlefield so she can reach Avalon and wait for him there
Looking at the direction where his Servant just stood moment ago, a sad smile appear on the Master face with some tears flowing down his place
"That's just like you" the auburn hair boy said in a small voice still gazing at the light of dawn
And once again the boy that known as Emiya Shirou is alone again to walk on his path for the dream he promise to his father. But even if he is alone one again, he know he have gain something important. The boy now feel love, actual love and joy that make him no more the souless shell of an human that always simulates human emotions in the face of others. And also he now have another dream outside his promise, a dream of his own
Fuyuki Japan – 2004 End of Frebruary
Rin is now really tired after her trip to Lodon to give reports on the conclusion of the fifth Holy Grail War.
"Arghh, those god damm geezer sure know how to be annoying"
What Rin refering to was the many pointless questions in her opinion about the Grail War. When the question about how theirs representive dead and her body meant nothing to them
"Seem like I'll never get along with those traditional magi then"
Suddenly a phone rang called Rin back to reality. Reaching for the antique phone set on the table in her father study room (now her study room) she pick up the phone
"Hello" Rin said to the phone receiver
"Yes is this the Second Owner of Fuyuki?" an male sound can be heard from the other side
Rin raised an eyebrow "So may I ask who am I speaking to?"
"Ah where my manner" the person on the other end said "My name is Gin, head of the Church Japan branch"
"Oh the leader of the Church Japan branch huh?" Rin said with an amused tone "May I inquire your reason for calling me?" the raven hair magus demand
"I want to inform that the Holy Church is going to sent to Fuyuki a new Priest" Gin said "We want to make sure the Second Owner of Fuyuki informed about his arrival on the beginning of March to make sure there no misunderstanding happened"
"Hmm" Rin narrowed her eyes
"So what will this new priest be and what his mission then" Rin thought "If he is here causing more trouble for me then I'll make sure the Church never return to Fuyuki then"
"Alright I think I get what you want to say" Rin said "So if there nothing more you want to say then this conversation is over"
After a few second to make sure the other side have no more thing to talk about whith her, Rin shut the phone off.
"Hmm" Rin rub her chin "There definitely something more to this, I better watch out for the Church actions then"
Fuyuki Japan – 2004 Beginning of March
"So today the new priest will start his first day working in there huh. Guess I should make a visit to the Church then" Rin said to herself while grabbing her usual red coat
Leaving the two story mansion of the Tohsaka residence, the raven hair magus strode toward the Fuyuki Church where she shall meet the new Priest.
Arrived at the Church Rin was amused "Hmm, they sure to work fast huh, all those foul scent I got when that damm Fake Priest was here already been cleaned"
"Hmm so there are people visiting the priest, well its normal given today is Saturday" Rin thought "I shall wait, this won't take long"
And her prediction was spot on. After about ten minutes of waiting, the Church door opens and people start moving out of the Church. Among the flow of people. Rin spotted a man that taller than most people in the group a height of a head standing at about 1m90, having brown hair something that not natural for man in seem to be only in his late 30s near Kirei age which cause Rin a little annoyed. He walk at the end of the group of people, wearing a priest robe similar to Kireis.
"So that is the new priest huh" Rin thought "Well his posture sure show that he is also an Executor"
After all people come to the Church left, as the man already spotted Rin right next to the entrance door. He walk toward her and asks
"Young lady, how may I help you" The priest asks
Seeing the priest polite actions, Rin impression on the man improved a bit. She doesn't get that much creepiness from him like how she got from the 'Fake priest' and this man before her seem rather less fanatic from the outside perspective
"I supposed that you are the new priest then?" Rin asks
"Why yes, but is there anything else?" the priest face show a inquisitive face
"Hmm very perceptive I must say" the raven hair magus comments "As expected from an Executor of the Holy Church"
Rin word threw the man back a little before he realized who is talking to him
"Ah, you must be Fuyuki Secind Owner" the man said "Oh where my manner, the name Tadaka Toniko, the new priest and of Fuyuki church " while set his hand forward to perform a hand shake
"Tohsaka Rin" while the priest show a courteous greeting Rin perform a rather lax one "Second Owner of Fuyuki" while taking the priest hand for the hand shake
After a few second the two let their hands off, the priest proceed to asks Rin
"I know that you are here to check on me as I am the new priest but there seem to be more than this right?" the priest now show a little seriousness both in his voice and his face
"Well aren't you a serious one" Rin comments with a chuckle "We should have seat since its may not be short"
As proposed by Rin the new priest lead her to Kirei study room in which Tadaka perform some reform to have a talk since this will prevent people from overhread their conversation
"First I would like to ask?" Rin begins her question "What is the purpose of the Church this time?"
"I don't understand what could you mean?" the brown hair man said
"I'm an magus , that kind of lies won't work on me" Rin pointed out to Tadaka that she know he hiding something
" Tch" Tadaka click his tongue
Seeing that the man before her have realized she want to know the truth, Rin press on one more "Now then I ask again , what is the true purpose of sending an specialist of the Executor sect here"
Knowing lying will only complicate thing and his order ain't that a classified one Tadaka decide to be honest " I am here at an informations control, to ensure details leakage not happen"
"Is that so" Rin mused "Well if that the case then there no need to press on about your mission here then" the raven hair magus now return to her previous laxing expression
"Now let us return to other more normal topic" the Tohsaka heiress said " I see that you make quick work about all the foul scent here"
Also come back to a laxing expression the new priest show some surprise on his face "Oh and why do you say that then?"
"You may not know but" Rin begin to rub her temple "The cleaning squad of the Church after the War conclusion didn't cleanse the foul scent in this church and here you are, already cleanse them even this your first day working"
"Well what can I say, a trained killer I am, I could never like those scent" the priest smile a genuine smile unlike Kirei "That why I prefer to dealt with thing fast and have less mess unlike those fanatics" then turned to a frown just a few second later
"You know what you are a whole leauge better than the average Executors" Rin expression show a rather surprise look
"That what most people from other sects of the Church told me as well" Tadaka admits, for in his mind set, finish off the enemies as fast as possible will make sure the heretics can cause less problem. That why he can't understand the fanatics actions of torture and slowly killing the heretics for theirs sickening amusement
Rin laugh a little at the man sitting infront of her words "I have noticed something when I first saw you, apparently you are not pure blood japanese aren't you"
"Well I supposed that fact is all too easy to see given my hair color one unatural for japanese" the priest said "Yes, I am half japanese and half eroupe if you want to know about my other heritage"
"Since I don't like to dwell in to others secrets and histories if not necessary, so I'm not gonna pry anymore about your background" Rin declare
And so the two continues theirs talk for sometimes about various topics regarding non importants things

"Oh its seem to be late already, I should take my leave then" Rin said
"If so allow me take you to the entrance atleast" Tadaka offers to which the magus accept
"Talking to you was quite an enjoyable unlike that Fake priest" the magus comments
"The honour is also mine, never in my life have I interact a magus with such great moral compass like you" the priest said "Well have a good day and please be careful on your way back, I rather not hear news of mysteriously beaten deliquents" the man jest
"I will, I will" said the Tohsaka heiress while she moving away from the church with the new priest of Fuyuki still watching even only to stop when Rin no more in his sight
Fuyuki Japan – 2004 End of March
Its nearly time for the new schoolyear, his last school year in Homurahara. Even a months have passed since the whole Holy Grail War, even with he making sure a promise to Saber. There still an unanswered question he have about the War, more precisely about Rin's Servant Archer.
First is due to his interations with Archer. For reason the rehead can't explain, when he look at Archer for the first time Shirou have thought that he is looking at a mirror of some sort. Could Rin Servant really be him from the future or was it just his imagination. The confusion Shirou have is increased with how the Servant have understanding regarding his ability, as if he himself have already mastered the arts and was guiding the auburn hair boy the right ways. When he asks Rin about this, Rin said that he was the second person she saw or read about that able to used the magic Projection with such proficiency well after Archer of course. Such answer is now given more and more credit to Shirou hypothesis of Archer was future him
Also in one of the talk, she have describe her Dream Cycle with Archer. If Shirou didn't experienced the same thing he would have question Rin sanity. In her talk she describe Archer past was all but regrets in his mind. She describe a scene of him standing on a barren and desolated hill with no life can be seen, weapon embeded on the ground all around him. Even there weapons embeded on his flesh as the Servant show an face full of regrets and a scream that fill with anguish.
But ensure Shirou that her Servant may be an unknown hero who name is unable to unidentifiable by her that have similar ability like Shirou. That explaination of her was not helping at all in the redhead opinion but its will be suffice for the moments to him.
Back on track as its already Shirou last year of highschool he still unable to determine what course of actions should he take. Before the Grail War, the redhead have considered about applying for an lawyer course but now he not so sure about it anymmore. There also the aspect of Illya now living with him after Rin and him decided to write her off as casualty of the War to cover her track from the Einzberns. Its was lucky that Kirei is dead and the new priest doesn't known about Illya survival yet
"Oh right I forgot about it" Shirou thought as he remember one of his talk to Rin after the War
~Flashback:
"Ne Emiya. What you gonna do after school?" Rin asked
To which Shirou replys "Well before the war I'm thinking about a lawyer course. Now I'm not so sure anymore"
"Is that so?" Rin look away a little then turn back at the redhead boy "Do you want to go to the Clock Tower with me?" the raven hair girl asks
Rin proposal caught Shirou off guard. She have told him how she going to the Clock Tower after graduattion. The redhead boy had some informations provided by Rin during and after the War about the Clock Tower to which he able to understadn some of its inner working. From her word the place filled with traditional magus compare to Rin which make Shirou a little unease given the reputation of traditional magus way of acting.
The whole offer create the feel that there some reason to it in Shirou mind and so he decide to asks "May I ask why did you make suck suggestion Tohsaka" while showing a questioning look
"Well you said before that you want to become a Hero of Justice right?" Rin asks only to have the answer confirmed by Shirou nodded
"Even if you are a third-rate magus" that remark from Rin cause Shirou eye to twitch a little "You can learn many about magecraft and the moonlit world there, maybe you could fing thing that suit you. The informations you can gather there could potential support your you on your path" she said with a wide smile
"Lying, she definitely lying" Shirou thought "Does she really think I'm such an idiot?"
Decided that he need to get the truth Shirou ask again this time with an raised eyebrow "Tohsaka, do you really thing I'm such an idiot. Just tell the truth and I'll consider" to which her smile dropped
"What could you even mean Emiya" Rin said while divert her sight
Decided that this tag game needed to stop, Shioru continue to glare at his ally during the War to get the truth out of her. Realizing there no end to this if she not gonna tell the truth, Rin decided to explain thing truthfully
"Fine. The Clock Tower do not like people from regions outside the Mage Association sphere of influence enroll into the school. So having a fellow magecraft practictioner from the same region accompany me make me less lonely and isolated. And the fact that you the only magecraft user I think I'm gonna put my trust on"
Closing his eyes Shirou ponder "Her offer certainly an interesting one but I still need some consideration" before he speak to Rin "Well I think I will need to think about it more before I finally decided what to do

"Well there still several months before I have to decide. She said that March next year would be the deadline for an answer if I remember correctly" Shirou mutter
Fuyuki Japan – 2004 Beginning of April
The final year of highschool for both Shirou and Rin have begun.
Even if this is last year to Shirou all the knowledge except for English seem to be quite fairly normal for him which open some free time for the redhead. And what did Shirou use those free time for? Magecraft
After his talk with Rin about her proposal to go study abroad at the Clock Tower. He begin to learn magcraft under Rin and Illya instruction. During his lesson, the reven hair magus able to finally confirmed Shirou Origin and Element to be one of the same not just speculation, and both have something to do with Sword. Rin explain how an person with both Origin and Element the same are considered a rare sight to behold and usually they are specialist of a single crafts.
When the auburn hair teen said to his fellow magecraft user that he able to use Projectionquite good Rin was actually facepalmed thinking 'which idiot mastering that spel'. But when Shirou mentiond to Rin about how he able to project Caliburn, the raven hair magus able to confirm her magus friend is proficient with Gradation Air to an atonish degree. With after some more testing Rin able to confirm that outside of Gradiation Air, Shirou also proficient with Reinforcement and Alteration with all 3 at a atonishing proficiency. Causing Rin a little envy with the Reinforcement proficiency. But all other crafts seem to be incompatible to the auburn hair teen.
After some talking between Rin, Shirou and Illya its was decided that Rin will be Shirou instructor on Reinforcement and Gradiation Air while Illya will be his instructor on Alterarion. Rather than that both the two better magus will teach him about the moonlit world.
Currently Shirou is at Tohsaka mansion for his lesson and now they able to find another sepcial thing about Shirou ability
"You know Emiya, your Structrual Grasp is quite an amazing one huh" Rin show a surprise face
"And I am the same with you about this even if I was the one who perform the spell" Shirou comments
Its turn out the auburn hair teen also proficient at Strutrual Grasp. This was proven by how Shirou able to read an object history, something that amaze Rin to the point she admits she was amazed even with her usual pride
"Do you think you can taught others this version of Structrual Grasp" Rin asks
"Uh why do you ask?" only for Shirou to show an confused look after hearing that question
"Cause I want to learn this as well" silence befell the two master of the fifth Holy Grail War after Rin words "You know what let us talk about that later"
Fuyuki Japan – 2004 End of April
An nice evening, the head of Matou family is having a guest over. And Sakura is there to serve the worm and his guest
The guest of Zouken have a tall figure, from his posture Sakura guesed that the person is a male. He wear an all black, from his shoe, his suit, his trench coat, his fedora to even his weird mask with a single single eyes in its center
"You may leave" Zouken command
Following the order of the Matous head Sakura move back to the kitchen while leaning back on the wall when suddenly she felt something not right. Her senses all tense up warning her something is coming and all pointed at the guest presense
"Your words flatter me Mr.S static" Sakura couldn't hear the name of the guest. Where does that static sound came ffrom
"Oh there no need to be that courtous " the guest said. His voice is weird like as if she hearing the voice of an eldritch entities
"If you say so then" Zouken said to the unknown man "But may I asks, what is your purpose of the visit?"
"Ah I'm here to finish a job for my clients" The man bluntly said
"Is that so, then it's a classified informations then" Zouken said
"Actually my job actually have something to do with you Mr. Zouken" A small chuckle come out from behind the mask
"Then what kind of job does involves me then" the worms start squinting his eyes
"Your extermination" Flatly replys the man before the shock expression of Zouken
Before Zouken could speaks another words, the violet hair girl hear a finger snap sound combine with the aspect of mana she sense being used in the air. Peaking she can she that the worm is binded by some kind of spell and any indications point out that the mysterious guest was the cause. The violet hair girl body feel a weird quick surge of energy, she feel as if all the worms Zouken implanted in her body suddenly paralyzed
"What did you do?" Zouken grunting while trying to break free the binding
"Its no use Makiri Zolgen, I forced binding your soul with your current body. You won't be able to transfer your soul to any of your worms. And I also disable all the crest worms in the girl body, you won't be able to use her as an hostage now. Also those worms life in her connected to your life directly" The man sneer
"Release me" Zouken desperately demand
"Oh and why should I?" The man let out a snark "My job is to ensure your absolute death and another part which you doesn't need to know"
Zouken try to summon his insects but all that appear burned before reaching the man body. The mysterious magus make a smirk sound, uncaring for the current grunting Zouken and start holding his right hand toward Zouken and begin writing a weird character that resemble an 'Y' and an 'I' merged together and backward with light, hovering in the air
"Yr" with the word spoken, Zouken body stop moving and fall to the ground immidiately. Sakura can feel the worms inside her also stopped living as the same time Zouken stop moving
The man then stand up then turn his face toward Sakura. Seeing the man actions she was terrified, she start to run but realized the Matous kitchen have only one door to enter and the man is already stand in the entrance of the kitchen
Pulling out a knife Sakura enter a trembling stand pointing the kife in her hand toward the masked magus and shout "Stay away". Seeing that the man still move toward her, Sakura kept moveing backward and then hit the corner of room. She is absolutely terrified, what will he do to her. Then suddenly the magus stop just 3 step before her. Raising his left hand he move one of his finger in a pulling action, the knife the violet hair girl holding fly out of her hand to the man and swiftly caught by the man right hand. After the he snap his finger again, Sakura feel a sudden sleepiness his her.
"Hmm, well there still some other thing I need to do I suppose" was the last words Sakura heard from the man before fall into unconsciousness
Meanwhile the bounded field system sent out warning to Rin about an burst of magical energy inside Fuyuki bounded field. Alerted by such an event the Second Owner rushed to the array and trace the position of the magical burst only to be caught of guard by the location to be the Matous mansion just several house away from the Tohsaka mansion
Decided that she need to check the anomoly immidiately, Rin wear on her red coat while grabbed some magic gems that are charged and ready to use. Running at full speed toward the place Rin saw the place went on fire, fire fighter already start putting out the flame while people from the same neighborhood already stand watching from the roadside.
"Excuse me, what happen to the inhabitants?" Rin asks one of the bystander
"Oh, the young girl already transport to the hospital while they still looking for the old man" The asked person answer
"Is that so, thank you for answer" Rin said and rush back home before the bystander could say anything more
Arrived back at her home, the raven hair magus rush to the study room. Grab the antique phone she immidiately call for the Church new priest
"Hello"
"Mr. Tadaka, I have a favour to asks"
The next day Shirou is walking in Homurahara. Today he haven't seen Rin anywhere which is weird given how she keep up her perfect student image. As he was thinking, he just happen to walk pass by a group of underclassmen from Sakura class and overheard their conversations
"Hey have you heard, there a fire at Sakura house last night" one of the girl said
"Eh? A fire at Matou-san house?"
"Yeah"
"So what happen?"
"My brother said its was an gas leak"
On the sideline Shirou thought "Gas leak? Now there an familiar pattern I'm hearing about" as he continue hearing the conversation
"So what happen to the people"
"I heard that Sakura was send to hospital while her grand father was not found yet"
"Poor her, even with her brother death now her grand father too"
"Yeah she all alone now"
"So which hospital did they take her to?"
"I think it's the …."
Without needed to hear anymore. Shirou begin to rush toward the hospital Sakura at at full speed. Even if she not connect to him by blood, Shirou always consider her like his younger sister. Panting a little infront of hospital after the sprint Shirou saw Rin arrived at the place with a normal pace
"Oh Emiya you here to visit Sakura?" Rin asks
"Yes, and I see that you here already as well" Shirou said while noticing Rin casual behavior
"Well let both of us go visit her then" Rin said
The two moved inside the hospital. As Rin already been here since yesterday night as she told him, the raven hair girl lead Shirou to Sakura room. Along the way Shirou decided to asks Rin what on his mind about the cause of the fire
"Tohsaka did the fire caused by supernatural mean?"
Realized that Shirou have heard about the cause of fire to be gas leak which is something too familiar to both of them regarding the method of cover up for super natural event. She glancing around to ensure no one around then turn back to the auburn hair teen
"Yes though I prefer we talk about this in a more private location"
The two enter Sakura room and saw the violet hair girl have already awaked from being unconsciousness
"Oh Sakura you awake" Rin call out to the last Matou with the redhead teen follow her suit
"Ah Shirou-senpai, Tohsaka-senpai" Sakura greet the two
Rin then begin to asks "Sakura may I ask this but do you remember the cause of the fire"
Hearing Rin question, Sakura body tense up remembering the masked men that killed Zouken.
Seeing the violet girl body trembling a bit after her question, Rin understand that something have happens and Sakura must have witness something unpleasant. The raven hair magus decided to left the matter after the Matou girl discharged from the hospital
Suddenly Shirou sense begin to pick up a weird mystical scent that he have never encountered before. Looking around his eyes now focus on the object that radiate the weird scent. At the direction he looking at is an ornated bracelet with a medium jew carved into it.
"Sakura?" Shirou call out to his kouhai "What on your hand there?" pointing his finger toward the bracelet
Prompted by Shirou words, the Tohsaka heiress looked into the last Matous hand. Squinting, she then widen her eyes in realization. On Sakura hand is a mystic code
"Say Sakura" Rin look at the violet hair girl and ask "Is that that a mystic code on your hand"
Shirou mind suddenly snap "Wait did Tohsaka just flat out tell Sakura about mystic codes?" decided that there something he need to confirm the redhead ask Rin "Hey Tohsaka, Sakura knew about magecraft"
"Oh right I forgot to tell you" Rin said "The Matous is an magecraft praticetioners family as well in Fuyuki along my family"
While the two of her upperclassman bickering, Sakura glance down to her hand before dropping a bomb that shock the two other people "But this is not mine"
""Eh?"" Both Shirou and Rin let out a confused sound
"In fact I never seen its before"
"But who could it belong to?"
"That would be me" A voice suddenly can be heard by the three students
Looking at the dark corner of the room, Sakura saw the same person that kill off Zouken last night, her body all tense up. While at the same time the other time the two magus in the room jump back and entering a ready for combat stance.
"At ease younglings for I am here as part of my job which is giving report to the designated person" the man said, his voice give Sakura chill on her spine while causing Shirou and Rin all tensed up
"Oh its seem I forgot" The man said then do a little cough "Okay that better then" his voice now change to resemble a normal human and not that of an eldritch entity
Facing the threes he continue its speak "The designated person my contract pointed to is you" while pointing his finger toward Sakura
This actions of the man cause the others people in the room confusion. All three ask the similar question "Why her/me?"
The man let out a click of tongue sound "That is what it supposed to be but seeing all the 3 of you here I believes that I should give the report on a later date. Miss Matous, please get better soon so I can finish my contract which will lessen both of our time on the matter. You can have some people with when I give the report to you but noted that we are going to talk about supernatural things"
The man then start walking to room door, but before he leave he turn back "By the way, you should keep the bracelet with you. When you want to meet me pour some mana into the gem an I will be able to know where you are to come" then he turn to Rin "And I suggest you don't think about tinkering with it, for it have countermeasure for tinkering" before leacing the room
As the man silhouette vanish behind the corner, Shirou run to look outside only to find there no sight of the man to be seen in the corridor
The redhead boy returning home from the hospital visit after realizing its kinda late already. Quickly moving toward the Emiya residence after rushing to buy the ingridients for dinner. Arrived at home, he was greeted by Illya and the freeloader Taiga
""You back Shirou"" Illya and Taiga said in unison
"Ah wait a bit for me to change then I'll prepare for dinner right away" Shirou said while putting all the bags on the kitchen counter
" You are so late today Shirou" Illya ask while peaking over the kitchen counter?
"Oh I just visit Sakura at hospital after school so when I realized the time it kinda late" the redhead boy said
"Oh I heard about it" Taiga added to the conversation "They say that its on of those 'gas leak' incidents"
The world 'gas leak' caught Illya imidiate attention. As she have been explained by Rin most of 'gas leak' incidents are but a cover up for Holy Grail War or supernatural occurences
"Dinner ready" Shirou call and so the threes enjoy their meals
After Taiga left, Illya decided to ask Shirou "Shirou did Sakura case have anything to do with moonlit world"
"Yes" came the younger of the two in the room answer. The third-rate magus then explain the event transpired at the hospital to Illya
"This is certainly a weird event" Illya said with a confused look. She unable to process the reason since the man actions is not magus like even one bit in the Einzbern magus opinion
"Yeah, and I believed that there much more to this" Shirou said why showing a distant look
A few days after the encounter of Rin and Shirou with the mysterious man.
Sakura was discharge from from the hospital after the doctor confirmed all of her wound is healed to a safe degree. Its was decided that she will be living at Rin house for atleast the masked man is contacted.
A few days after her discharge, Sakura decided to contact for the mysterious and. Shirou house is choosed as the meeting place since Rin want Illya to be part of the group since she also an expert in the moonlit world. Since the new priest also come for the occasion it was decided that Illya will have to do something to cover up her existence and so they come up with using a wig, contact lens and different set of clothes
" Knock Knock.."Shirou can hear someone knocking at his house door
"I think they are here" Illya said
"I'll get them, you can sit there Illya" Shirou said while moving to greet theirs guestss
Open the door, infront of the house there stand three people. The group of three contain Rin, Sakura and the new priest Tadaka who Rin mentioned as the person who handle the cover up
The three follow Shirou and join with Illya. The five decided to sit down at the living room and have a discussion before actually call for the mysterious magus
"So do you think he can be trusted?" Asked the Einzbern half homunculus
"I don't know really" Rin said with conflicted look "He definitely come for Zouken but why let Sakura live. As normal magus standard this doesn't making any sense"

After some disscussion it is decided that Sakura will live with Rin from now on since she old enough to live on her own. Its is also decided by all the five people that they will hide certain fact about the Matous incident from the Association since its will be more beneficial this way. What to do with the Matous asset will be dealt with later. With everything temporary sort out, everyone returns to theirs home

One of the two part time jobs that Shirou have is actually working under Tatsu at Fujimaru gang garage. And to be honest, the redhead really appriciate Tatsu for teaching him how to fix mechanic and electronic devices. But he couldn't understand what inside Tatsu's mind sometimes

Summer break already come, and ton of homework to do. But to Shirou its not much of a problem. His problem however ly with Taiga. When she caught wind of Shirou possibility of going study abroad she force him into a English training drill camp that Taiga forced on him for a month now. Shirou can definitely see that the action is an childish payback of Taiga to revenge her constant defeat lately. But its not like the drill camp didn't work. Thank to its now Shirou even able to read magecraft material in English, even if it still kinda slow, that on hell of progress in Rins and Illyas opinion. But even that the case the very aspect of him more fluent in german than english cause Taiga annoyed since Illya was the one that taught Shirou german
Today Shirou at Rin place for magecraft lesson.
"You are definitely getting better in language even though that through suffering" Rin show a little sympathy for the redhead
"Its not like I have a choice. Your and Illya materials are all german then the idea of going abroad to England and Illya taught me german and cause Fuji-nee jump to the fray" Shirou said with a tired voice

Even if theirs quality is not as good as a natural one, Rin can actually use these low quality gems for her D-rank or C-rank spells which reduced her jewelcraft cost greatly
"You certainly an interesting person in magecraft Emiya, all your proficient craft are one most magus consider useless you know" the raven hair magus said
"Well as you said I'm just an third-rate magus" Shirou jest

Ryuujin Matsuri, Fuyuki festival celebrating the legend of a traveling monk and the dragon god of Miongawa. But to tell the truth, the legend might never actually happened like story of myths and legends around other parts of Japan.
For most of Illya life, she always held inside the Einzbern castle back in Germany so to be able to be free like now is always have been the half homunculus dream. And as someone who act as her older brother but technically younger, of course Shirou would bring her to the festival
"I know its not comfortable but we need to be careful, after all your survival is not knowed by Association and Matous incident is just only in few months" Shirou try to explain to the half homunculus only to pout
"When everything have pass by you will not have to wear all these disguise" the redhead said
"Okay" the white hair girl now brown thank to the wig said
"Let us go then, I think both Tohsaka and Sakura will be waiting for us at the river bank when we got there" the auburn hair teen said while taking Illya hand and lead her the way

Its is now near Christmas, the street is crowded with people going back and forth. On the street there a group of people that if people look at them they might think of as a odd group of people. The group in question is Rin, Sakura and Illya, Taiga have some meeting with her old classmates and Shirou have a part-time job at Copenhagen bar so they can't come with them but will join them later.
"Hmm usually when Christmas come I always stay at home doing magecraft practice" Rin remark "Going out like this is surely refreshing"
"Well I'm the same to you Nee-san" Sakura added to Rin words
"I have never been outside of the castle before so this is also my first" Illya remarked
The two girl looked at Illya, knowing her story from Shirou and Illya herself can only show a look of sympathy. After all she was molded by the Einzbern to become a perfect Holy Grail War, and with that familiy's reputation,it obvious that Illya have to suffer a lot over the years.
The three go on looking around the shop on the street. Merchandises of different price tag and quality caught theirs eyes. The most excited one is certainly Illya, after all she never been able to feel this kind of warmth atmosphere
"You two know what? Let go on a shopping spree" Rin declare

It is now the last term of both the magus but still,Shirou can't decided to apply for the law course or go abroad with Rin.
Its nearly the time for the end of today normal class. As Shirou walking down the staircase his phone start to ring, looking at it, he saw the caller.
"Its Fuji-nee" he thought
But it seem weird, Fuji-nee normally don't call at this hour before, and she also staying with Illya today. Decided he pick the call up only greeted with a perplexed Fuji-nee
"Shirou…Illya-chan..Illya-chan is…" She said on the phone
"Calm down Fuji-nee" he said waiting for his guardian to calmed down "Tell me what happened"
"We were sitting on the porch,I go inside to get some water and return to see Illya already unconscious. While I check her pulse its feel weak" Taiga explains
Hearing that, Shirou eyes widened "Let her taking rest in her room, I'll be back to home ASAP"
With that said, he hung the phone. Rushing through the school and street, at a speed noone ever saw Shirou do before. He was rushing so fast noone could asked him what wrong, this make both Rin and Sakura a little bit worry knowing him personally.
As he returned home, he rushed to Illya room inside the house where Taiga is sitting next to an awaked Illya
"Illya are you alright" Shirou panting asked
"Uhmm, I just have some sickness, you don't need to worry too much Shirou"she said with a weak voice
Even if he want to ask more, he can only nodded hearing her say that
As he turned back to Taiga"Okay Fuji-nee you can go now"

And like that Illya fall into unconscious. Hearing that Shirou can only continue tearing his eyes while the other two girls can only watch in silence. He embrace the unconscious body of his sister, with sadness and sorrow filled his mind. On that day, Illya pass away
Illya funeral was handled by Raiga and Issei's father. Her last resting place is decided to be place in Ryuudou temple burying ground next to Kiritsugus. Shirou take a leave from school for several days and when he get back all his accquaintances can see how utterly depressed he is affter Illya death
For many days his mind stuck in debate. He doesn't know what to do. At age 7 he already lost nearly everything he had. The memories about who he was before the fire. He was adopted by Kiritsugu after then, but even he pass away when he was but 12. Now he have the new hope of Illya and yet she pass away just 1 year after he know her.
But he have a promise to keep. He have a place to reach. And he shall walk the path needed to fulfill his promise to her

"Say Tohsaka,do your offer still open"
Rin look widened her eyes
"Its seem you have decided Emiya" closed her eyes then open them again "Of course its still open for you"

"Fuji-nee I'm old enough to handle myself"
"But.. but..but who gonna cook for me" Taiga said with a teary eyes
"Taiga he not a kid anymore, beside it time you start to be independent" Raiga interject
"Now Shirou I also have seen you grow up. Do take care of yourself. Also take this you will need it" Raiga said while giving him a small wrapped box
"Yes I will gramp Raiga"

"So senpai decided to go abroad?"
"Umm. But don't worry Sakura, I'll try to make time to go back here from time to time"
"Yes, I'll wait for your return senpai" she said with a gentle smile
And first chapter of the story is done. I know that some of you already notice that this is a rewrite of my already deleted first story. The reason behind it is that I found holes that no matter fluff I put in they would still kill off the story integrity.
Also when I write this and the deleted one, what I imagine is a story of a journey after Fate route. Why is that because I'm kinda tired seeing highschool Shirou, I want to see a more mature Shirou who would able to withstand the suffering of his ideals trying to fulfill his promise. I want to see the development of his path and power and not just some bullshit like gain power of his alternate self out of nowhere. Make Shirou gain power from card class sound more plausible than that reason. So I decide to take the idea on my own. Beside not too much people explore the path of his journey after the end in either Fate or UBW route
I also want to see an Zelretch that actually act like Zelretch. After all even if the Keleidoscope is a troll, the Keleidosticks already make him regrets making them in the first place so there no way he might go beyond that. So all the fanfic making him troll beyond his character is just sound kinda dumb to me.
Also I will have badass or OP made up characters. Shirou himself will be somewhat of a badass but he will be only so after enduring many struggle and hardship not given at the start. Beside being the underdog in a fight is part of his character from what I seen from all of canon versions of him. And I think of making him someone only use enough force to handle the situation even if he overpower his enemies is a reasonable thing
There this problem I see in many fanfic is that Shirou a eroge protagnist EX troupe. Dude, like, seriously, WTH man. I prefer him having others male friend and have relationship with many of the female character as a trustworthy work parters/accquaintances or friends. I will even try to revive a character that supposed to be dead in Fate route and incorporate character from other part of Nasuverse but follow the Fateverse laws to make theirs Fate couterpart
Also I actually plan at first to have more scene with Illya spending time with Shirou but I scrap the idea since that would propably cost me quite a lot of time.
Maybe next chap I shall anouce the power gaining plot =] and characters interactions plan
With that said hope you guy like this and I'll try to add new chapter ASAP. But don't put your hope too much, after all I will have real life problem to deal with so can't promise anything
