Hello.

I'm Karl.

I write stories :P

I made this account back in 2014, back when I was in middle school and role playing as the 8bit Karl SPG from World of Tanks. (I still am. Kinda.) Now that I'm in college, I'm going to change up this profile a little bit. If anyone wants to read the old profile (though I highly doubt anyone would want to), I'll leave it on this page. Somewhere.

Anyway, I'm Karl the Arty. I primarily write fanfics and various side stories for Anime and Video Games. So far, as of October 18th, 2018, none of my stories have reached their conclusions. My favorite genres to write are action, war, and maybe some romantic stuff.

My hobbies, aside from writing stories, include playing grand strategy games (Hearts of Iron 4, Axis and Allies, etc.), playing the saxophone (i like Jazz), building Gunpla, and watching anime (My favorite is the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise).

Update 9/14/2019

Reason for current semi-hiatus

Some people may have noticed how I haven't been updating any of my stories lately. Fear not, this is for a good reason.

Aside from college classes, I have recently started working on a fairly ambitious work, collectively known as Neue Dreisland Projekt.

This project not only includes written fiction (which is being posted on FictionPress as it doesn't count as a fanfic), but also a visual novel and, most importantly, an audio drama. Depending on the success of this initial stage of the project, it might even progress into a Manga or even Anime form :D

Neue Dreisland Projekt takes place in the world of Gaia, following the history of the titular Federation of Dreisland from independence in 1898 to merging into a united planetary government in 2002 (or 2003: this part isn't solid yet). Of course, nations other than Dreisland occupy the spotlight occasionally. The main purpose of this project is mainly the creation of a world with rich and extensive history.

A World Torn Asunder (Written Fiction) (2001)

七日ドロップ-Seven Day Drop (Audio Drama) (1942)

Seven Day Drop is currently the highest priority, with an extensive cast of voice actors (drafted from a bunch of personal friends XD) and character art, with all of the dialogue done in Japanese. Theoretically, it is also the shortest one of the bunch in terms of the actual story and is also the closest to completion (not that that's saying much).

All three current stories are currently available, albeit incomplete, in written form on my FictionPress account. Feel free to take a look.

I apologize for the semi-hiatus on my usual fanfiction content, but updates will be posted, though at an even slower pace. If you would like to support this endeavor, please let me know!

Hello fellas! I'm Karl the Artillery Piece, though I'm technically a self-propelled siege howitzer. I'm not really the type that likes explaining, so if you don't know who I am, look me up. I should be somewhere on Google. Anyway, here's a quick run-down. I originally had five brothers. They're all dead. We were used to bombard heavily defended positions so that lighter units, like Pzkpw VI Tiger tanks, could move up. We were used in operation by the German Wehrmacht during World War II. Armed with 600mm guns, we could kill basically anything. I mean, I have a freaking battleship-caliber gun. IT'S F*ING AWESOME! Anyway, both my hull and gun are in some museum in Russia. An 8-bit version of me was in the game world of tanks for a time. I also happen to own a YouTube channel. Here's the link: Karl Arty. Anyway, what else should I write... *pulls random topic from hat* Um... "personal relationships..." Ok... Why is that in here? This is going to be embarrassing, but here goes. I actually do have a girl I like. She's... *typing interrupted.*

Maya: Karl? What are you doing?
Karl: *jumps in surprise* Maya! Don't scare me like that!
Maya: Sorry! I didn't mean to. What are you typing, anyway? *walks up to Karl*
Karl: Um... *closes laptop in a hurry* Nothing.
Maya: Too late. I read the last sentence.
Karl: *blushes* W- Wha- how did you-
Maya: *flicks her hair* I have more than a mile of view range, you know. So? Who's the girl you like?
Karl: *blushes more* It... It's a secret. *leaves room*
Maya: Karl? Karl! Oh come on. Tell me! Pleeeeease!? *follows Karl*

(yeah I'm not fooling you am I? The two are supporting characters from one of my fanfics. One is, as he said, a Karl Series Self-propelled Siege Howitzer and the other is a Pzkpw IV Panzer IV medium tank converted to carry Karl's ammunition. They appear at some point in Kantai Collection: The Land Warfare Boys.)
