When you hear the name "Izuku Midoriya", you immediately think of a green haired quirkless cinnamon roll with the desire to help and save people with a smile, just like his idol All Might. Unfortunately, you would also think of him as the bullying victim of a blonde, spikey haired, explosive, spoiled asshole with an inferiority complex. But that is one of the many Izuku's in the multiverse…
Across the multiverse, there are different Izuku Midoriya's. In most universes, he is chosen as All Might's successor and inheritor of his quirk, One For All. There are some who still get into U.A despite being quirkless, some starting from the support course and earning their way into the hero course through the sports festival. There are some universes where Izuku ends up in Class 1-B instead of Class 1-A. There are some universes where Izuku gets bitten by a radioactive spider and becomes his universe's Spider Man, and a few where he is personally trained by Peter Parker himself. There are some universes where he finds the omnitrix(Ben 10), some where he finds Blue Beetle's scarab, some where he has All For One's quirk instead, some where he has an immortality quirk, some where he has Return By Death(Somewhere in another multiverse, all Subarus sneeze and feels pity for some reason, even the PrideBarus and WrathBarus.), some where he becomes a quirkless villain that is much more dangerous than All For One could ever be, some where he is betrayed by the very same people he saw as allies and friends, some where he has committed suicide, and some where he becomes a nomu.
Izuku Midoriya has always felt rage towards how he was treated by society, by his school and fellow students, and how he was treated by Bakugou. But he has always shoved his anger back down, to not let his anger show, to not do anything rash. But this Izuku has had enough of putting up with it all. This Izuku Midoriya will be becoming a hero all right, but not in the way you would think, and not the kind of hero you would think either. He will become a hero that is unrelenting without mercy, for he will become...the Slayer of both demons and villains.
It was a normal day for Izuku Midoriya. He had to wake up early for school, got to see a villain attack and the debut of a new hero, and-of course-he got bullied, just like always, and for the same reason as always: because he's quirkless. Why doesn't he go to the teachers for help? Well, it's because they join in on the bullying too, even though their way of bullying is more indirect.
Right now, he is in his last class for the day, listening to his teacher talk while he writes in his hero notebook, finishing his notes on Mt Lady. While he was writing, his teacher threw some papers in the air, screaming about how all of them wanted to become heroes, to which they responded by using their quirks before the teacher told them all to stop. Izuku stopped paying attention by the time the teacher pointed out that Bakugou wanted to go to U.A University.
Why would middle school students care about college this early? According to the teachers, it's to prepare themselves for whatever college or university they want to go to after high school, especially if the one they want to go to is U.A University. U.A University is the most well known and sought after hero university in the world, where the most famous heroes have graduated from, where All Might himself has graduated from. Therefore, U.A is Izuku's dream school. But Izuku's attention went back to his teacher as soon as his teacher said the sentence that pretty much damned him.
"Oh, Midoriya! You want to apply to U.A too?" The teacher said while looking at Izuku, smirking about the hell he had unleashed. Izuku's classmates just looked at Izuku for a couple of seconds before bursting out in laughter, yelling about how he wouldn't have a chance at all, thinking it was some kind of joke. But there were only a few students who didn't laugh and instead looked at Izuku with eyes full of sympathy and pity towards the quirkless boy. Not everyone at Aldera Middle treated Izuku like shit and actually felt bad for him, but never defended him because they are afraid of incurring the wrath of Bakugou and the school's teachers, as they had with anyone who dared to defend Izuku.
"DEKU!" Shouted Bakugou as he rushed towards Izuku's desk, slamming his hand on it and burning the desk, the smell of burned wood invading Izuku's nostrils.
"YOU ARE APPLYING TO U.A?! YOU OF ALL PEOPLE HERE?! DON'T MAKE ME LAUGH!" Bakugou screamed while glaring down at Izuku, eyes full of manic, sadistic glee, trying to make himself seem scary, and it was working.
"YOU HAVE NO CHANCE COMPARED TO THE OTHER LOSERS HERE! YOU'RE QUIRKLESS! THEY WOULD NEVER ALLOW YOU IN!" Bakugou sneered, while waving his hand towards the rest of the class, and then pointing back at Izuku. Izuku couldn't help but try to shrink into his desk, trying to hide to no avail. It was always like this, each and every day. Bakugou would do this, the teachers would allow it, and reprimand anyone who even tried to defend Izuku.
"B-but they got rid of that rule. W-who knows, I might actually get in if I try my hardest." Izuku said while looking up at his bully, trying his best not to stutter, but still failed at his attempt.
It was true. U.A got rid of that rule when one of the teachers pointed out the bias that their entrance exam had towards people with powerful, destructive quirks. Then, someone also pointed out how there might be some quirkless people willing to take the exam to get into U.A's Heroics Course, to become heroes. It wasn't exactly any news that U.A used robots in the practical portion of their entrance exam. In response to this, Nezu, U.A's principal, decided to have a shutdown button added somewhere on the robot, but it would be up to the participants to figure out where the button is.
"BECAUSE YOU'LL TRY YOUR HARDEST?! ARE YOU TRYING TO SAY THEY'LL TAKE YOU OVER ME?!" Bakugou screeched, like a demon throwing a temper tantrum. In fact, it wouldn't be too far-fetched to call him a demon.
"W-what?! No! Of course not!" Izuku said while frantically waving his hands back and forth, and he was sweating profusely from being so nervous. But that wasn't the only emotion that he was feeling. He was also feeling an emotion that you would think would be foreign to him, anger.
Izuku has always felt anger. He felt anger towards Bakugou, towards the other kids who bullied him, towards his teachers, towards himself for putting up with this, and towards society as a whole for treating the quirkless like useless garbage, and it wasn't just the quirkless who was treated like garbage. People who have so-called weak quirks or villainous quirks who are treated almost as badly as the quirkless. But Izuku never expressed his rage unless he was alone, so he doesn't make anything worse for himself. Izuku just kept his mouth shut.
"Heh, that's what I thought. Don't even think about applying Deku, or else!" Bakugou said before letting off an explosion from his hands, trying to show Izuku that he is more than willing to follow through with his threat. Bakugou began to walk back to his desk, seemingly pleased with himself. But Izuku? He was far from pleased. He was pissed! Usually, he could control himself, control his anger, but now? He feels like the dam he has built is about to burst. He knew he shouldn't say it, but he just couldn't help himself…
"Screw you."
At that moment, everyone in the classroom, including Bakugou, turned around to see where that voice came from, only to see Izuku standing up, glaring at Bakugou. It didn't take long for them to put two and two together, realizing that it was Izuku who spoke, that it was Izuku who told Bakugou that. The classroom went silent, mouths agape with only a few people silently praying for Izuku's safety. The teacher was just looking at Izuku, shocked that it seems that Izuku has finally grown a backbone. But Bakugou...he was insanely shocked and furious. He turned towards Izuku and said "What the fuck did you just say to me?!"
Izuku just looked at him, and said "You heard me. Or did you use your quirk so much, that you made yourself go partly deaf. In case you didn't hear me the first time, allow me to say it again. Screw you Kacchan.".
If nobody was completely shocked before, they were now. The jaws of everyone in the classroom were now on the fucking floor. But no one was nowhere near as shocked as Bakugou is. He knew Izuku ever since they were kids. Sure, he would always defend the kids that Bakugou and his goons were bullying, but he never talked back to him like this. He was never like this.
Izuku was actually feeling proud of himself for actually saying that to Bakugou. You think that he would stop there, but oh no. He is not gonna waste this moment. Izuku kept glaring at Bakugou, showing him that he means business.
"Who the do you think you are, to tell me or anyone else what to do? If I want to apply to U.A, I'm gonna apply for U.A. If anyone here wants to apply to U.A, they have every right to, and that is something that not even you will be able to take away, Kacchan. And newsflash, everything that we have today, buildings, technology, all of it, were invented by quirkless people. The very same people you discriminate against, people who have done more in their lives than you ever will." Izuku ranted. Finally, the teacher finally decided to do something before this escalated into anything further, not for Izuku's sake of course.
"Midoriya and Bakugou! Sit down now or else both of you will be going to the principal's office!" The teacher commanded. Both of them obeyed, but for different reasons. Bakugou didn't care since he wouldn't get in trouble, but he didn't feel like dealing with the teacher. Izuku cared because no matter what the situation would be, the principal would always be against him and he would always be the one getting in trouble instead, such as the last time he and Bakugou got sent to the office.
Eventually, class ended and Izuku began to pack his things. Izuku grabbed his notebook and walked out of the classroom door. As soon as he was in the hallway, his notebook was swiped out of his hands by Bakugou, with his two lackeys following him around like a couple of dogs. Bakugou and his two human dogs took a look at the cover of the notebook and then laughed. And of course, Izuku knew what they were laughing about.
"Hero Analysts For The Future? Are you kidding me?! What a joke!" Bakugou laughed, with that god awful smile on his face. One of his two lackeys said something about it being pathetic. And then, the other one said that he's so delusional.
"Kacchan, give me back my notebook!" Izuku said, worried about what Bakugou is probably gonna do to it. He has plenty more of those notebooks at home, but he still didn't want the information that he wrote to be burnt to a crisp. But unfortunately, all of that worry became reality when Bakugou blew up Izuku's notebook, and then threw it out of the window. And that is when Bakugou began speaking.
"I warned you Deku, not to apply to U.A. But you didn't listen...instead, you talked back to me. Got defiant. But since you want to be a hero, you're gonna need a quirk, so I got some advice." Bakugou said as he glared at Izuku, grinning a sinister smile.
"If you want a quirk so badly, pray that you will get a good one in your next life, and then take a swan dive off of the school roof." Bakugou said with a sneer, before walking away, with his two lackeys following him and laughing. Meanwhile, Izuku was in complete disbelief. Bakugou has done some messed up things to him in the past, but he never thought that he would honestly tell him to commit suicide. And he wants to be a hero?! Him, of all people?!
Hypocritical...piece of shit! Izuku thought to himself, thinking about how Bakugou is just a massive hypocrite. He wants to be a hero. But his behavior, his personality, and his deeds say otherwise. The things that aren't heroic about him at all. The things that make him more of a villain than a hero. Seriously, what kind of hero tells someone to kill themselves?
The more and more he thought about this, the more his rage would build up. But before he could do anything about it, Bakugou and his lackeys were gone, and left him behind, not even checking to see if he would actually do it. Sometimes, he can't believe that Bakugou is the son of his Auntie Mitsuki and Uncle Masaru, two of the nicest people he has ever met, besides his own mom of course.
Ironically enough, Izuku is still on good terms with his bully's parents. His mom and Mitsuki Bakugou are best friends, and have been ever since they met during their first year in high school. Bakugou wasn't anything like Mitsuki or Masaru. The only things Bakugou got from his mother was her appearance, the spikey blond hair, the red eyes, and her fiery attitude. He doesn't have her kindness and empathy, and he surely doesn't have Masaru's kindness and timidness. The reason why Izuku doesn't hold them in contempt for Bakugou's bullshit is because he knows that they didn't raise him to be like the way that he is now.
Instead, he blames Aldera for the way Bakugou turned out and of course, he blames Bakugou too. When Bakugou first got his quirk, the teachers wouldn't stop giving him praise, and whenever he did something wrong, he never got scolded. Instead, they would give him some speech about how he is going to be a great hero because of his "powerful" quirk, feeding his ego. This was made more apparent when Izuku was first diagnosed as quirkless. That was when Bakugou started bullying him, especially because he still wanted to become a hero. The teachers knew that Bakugou was bullying Izuku, but they wouldn't do anything about it, letting Bakugou do whatever he wanted to. Due to this, Bakugou began to think what he was doing wasn't wrong at all, thinking that he can't do anything wrong.
Even though Izuku knows this, he can't help but blame Bakugou too. Why? It's because Izuku knows that even if the roles were switched, if he had the powerful quirk while Bakugou is quirkless, he would never have become a bully like Bakugou. He wouldn't become the type of person that Bakugou now is.
Izuku gets up, grabs his things, walks outside to grab his notebook-or what's left of it. His notebook was somewhat still intact, but it looked all beaten up and partly charred. Not to mention that it was wet because when Bakugou threw it out the window, it landed in the fish pond. Izuku found some fish just nibbling on it as if it were fish food. He grabbed his notebook and left school grounds, heading home, back to one of the few people who were still the light of his life, his mother. He just wanted to hurry up and get back home to her.
It's not like today can get any worse for me. Izuku thought to himself. But he was wrong, for it can always get worse. And it doesn't matter whether it is Bakugou or something else, it always can get worse.
As Izuku walks under a bridge, he doesn't know why, but he feels like something is behind him. Something that he should avoid as if it is the plague. He looks behind him, only to see what looks like a monster made of sludge staring at him. Izuku decided to do what his instincts told him to do: run away from there like there was no tomorrow. But it was far too late to react.
"Hmmm...a plain looking meat suit. Just what I need to hide from that guy." The Sludge Monster said as he grabbed Izuku and started to fill him with sludge, as if he was going inside his body. Well, that is the most likely possibility since the Sludge Monster did call him a meat suit. Izuku couldn't breathe, due to sludge going inside of him through his mouth and his nose.
I don't want to die...not yet. I don't want to leave my mom! Someone...God...anyone...HELP! Izuku screamed inside his head, begging and pleading for someone to help him. Despite his shitty life, he didn't want to leave his mom behind, he didn't want his life to end before it even began, before he even got his chance to become a hero, and to prove to everyone that they were wrong about him. He was losing consciousness, but before everything went black, he heard someone scream.
"SMASH!"
Izuku woke up to the feeling of someone lightly slapping his face to wake him up. He slowly opened his eyes, only to see a tall man towering over him. This tall man seemed really familiar to Izuku for some reason.
"Whew! You had me worried for a minute there, young man! Thought I was gonna have to take you to the hospital if I couldn't wake you up! Sorry you were attacked by this guy! I've been tracking him for the last twenty minutes!" The man was saying while Izuku was getting up on his feet, still dazed from being attacked. Now that Izuku is on his feet, he is able to get a better look at the man. The man is extremely muscular, wide broad shoulders, blonde hair and two large pointy tips sticking up like rabbit ears, and a smile that Izuku recognized from anywhere. Upon realizing who was standing in front of him, Izuku couldn't contain his excitement. And seriously, who can blame him?
"ALL MIGHT?!" Izuku shouted with excitement and glee, for who was in front of him, is the number 1 hero in the flesh, his idol, his favorite hero. And he was saved BY HIM. Izuku is hoping that this isn't a dream, and if it is, he hopes he doesn't wake up from it.
"Yes! It is I, All Might!" All Might shouted out as he did a pose, to Izuku's enjoyment. But amid all of this happiness, Izuku almost forgot something. That something is something that he would stake his life on.
"Hold on! Where's my noteboo-" Izuku said as he finally found his notebook. As he looked closer, it had All Might's signature on it. He immediately picked it up and began thanking God, Jesus, Buddha and every god in existence for this wonderful gift, while shaking with excitement.
"Thank you All Might sir! This will be a family heirloom! Something to be treasured for generations!" Izuku said while frantically bowing down to the man. All Might just laughed at the scene. Not a mocking laugh like the kind Izuku would usually get, but a joyful one.
"Well young man! I am flattered, but I must go! I have to go turn this villain in to the authorities! Stay safe!" All Might said to Izuku with a wave of his hand, before jumping into the sky. But what he didn't know, is that a certain someone decided to hitch a ride on his leg, something he realized too late. He felt something pulling on his pants and looked back, only to see Izuku hanging on for dear life, grabbing his pants leg.
"Wow, you really are a dedicated fanboy huh? But could you please let go?" All Might asked, not really getting the obvious reason why Izuku can't let go, before Izuku stated the obvious.
"But I can't let go! I'll die!" Izuku yelled out, while still trying his best to hang on. Maybe this wasn't the best idea after all, especially with all of the wind hitting his face, making it harder for him to breathe.
"Oh, right!" All Might said. He and Izuku landed on the rooftop of a building, with the light of the afternoon sun hitting their backs and sides. Izuku wobbly got off of All Might, still shaking due to the fact that he flew through the air at high speed on THE All Might.
"Now, do you mind telling me why you did that, young man? Because that was really dangerous, you know." All Might said while looking at Izuku with his hands on his hips, waiting for an answer.
"I know that it was dangerous All Might, but I wanted to ask you a question." Izuku said, still shaky from earlier, breathing heavily. Izuku has always wanted to ask a hero this question, especially All Might. He knew that if he didn't ask him now, he most likely wouldn't get another chance to. At the same time, he was scared to ask him this. But he can do this, he knows he can!
"You see, I'm quirkless. For most of my life, for as long as I can remember, I always wanted to become a hero. Not for the fame and glory or even to be thanked, but because I wanted to help people."
Shit! No! Not...now! All Might thought to himself, struggling to keep himself together. Unfortunately, all of the struggle was in vain, as he began to power down, producing a whole bunch of smoke.
"And as you probably guessed, people have always made fun of me for not only being quirkless, but for wanting to become a hero despite being quirkless. So…CAN I BE A HERO LIKE YOU WITHOUT A QUIRK?!" Izuku shouted at the top of his lungs. This is the question he has always wanted to ask. The question whose answer he is excited and scared for. If All Might himself says he can become a hero without a quirk, then he should be able to, right? But Izuku began to notice the smoke, and what he saw freaked him out. He saw a blonde haired man, who looked like a skeleton, wearing the same clothes that All Might had on. And he was looking right at him. Not only that, but for some reason, the smoke was coming from the skeleton man. Then, all of a sudden, the guy started spewing out blood from his mouth. Izuku did the only logical thing he could think of at this moment. He screamed.
"AHHHHHHHHHHH! Who are you?! Where's All Might?! Are you an imposter?! And are you ok?!" Izuku said, shocked and scared about what is happening right now. One second, he is talking to All Might, and now this? Not only that, but for some reason, this guy is now coughing out large amounts of blood? Just what the heck is this? Before Izuku could say anything else, the man spoke up.
"Kid, I'm not an imposter. I am All Might." The man explained.
"But how could you be All Might? No offense sir, but All Might is all muscular and healthy looking and you? Well, you look like a skeleton. And no, you don't look healthy at all. Not to mention the fact that you are coughing out a lot of blood." Izuku pointed out, still skeptical about this whole situation.
"Heh, well, I can't blame you for being skeptical about this. I would too if I were in your shoes. I might as well just show you" The man calling himself All Might said as he began to pull up his shirt, showing Izuku a huge scar on the side of All Might's body. The scar looks like there was a massive hole there. "Five years ago, a villain did this to me. His attack destroyed some of my organs. I no longer have a stomach."
"No way. Was this from your fight against Toxic Chainsaw?" Izuku asked All Might, trying to figure out what could do that, to the Symbol of Peace of all people. And this terrified him.
"No, it wasn't him. That punk couldn't put even a scratch on me. It was from someone far more worse and dangerous than that guy could ever hope to be. I tried my best to keep that fight underwraps." All Might gravely said, with a completely serious tone that sounds like the opposite of how he usually is. The fact that someone could actually do this to All Might terrified Izuku. He couldn't help but think of the possibility of what would have happened if All Might hadn't stopped this mysterious villain.
"Listen. Do me a favor and don't tell anyone about this. The people have to keep believing in their Symbol of Peace, and I have to keep smiling, to show everyone that everything will be okay. But about your question from earlier…" Izuku perked up upon hearing this, anxious about All Might's answer. But for some reason, All Might seems sad.
"You asked me whether or not you can become a hero without a quirk. I'm afraid...that my answer has to be no." What?
"Hero work is already dangerous for people with quirks. Every day, heroes all over the world get killed in this line of work. A hero has to be prepared to sacrifice themselves at a moment's notice. You becoming a hero without a quirk will undoubtedly get you killed. You can always become a police officer, or a firefighter. They are admirable professions, despite the flak they get." All Might said as he walked past Izuku. Before he walked through the door on the roof to get to ground level, he took one last look at Izuku, sighed, and then left.
Izuku feels like his world has been completely shattered. Not one believed in him. Not All Might and not even his own mom. All Might was wrong when he said he could become a police officer or a firefighter, because those jobs tend to lean towards the quirked as well. Izuku just felt like he wanted to break down and cry. All of a sudden, Izuku remembered Bakugou's words.
"If you want a quirk so badly, pray that you will get a good one in your next life, and then take a swan dive off of the school roof!"
Slowly, but surely, Izuku began to walk towards the edge of the roof. Damn it! I guess...I really have no hope, huh. No matter what I do, what I hope for, everything just gets worse. Even if I don't become a hero, I doubt anyone would be willing to hire me. I really have been damned since the start.
With each step, Izuku keeps getting closer and closer to the edge, to where he can finally end his suffering. To where he can finally rest. This just goes to show how pathetic I really am. I'm willing to do this, to leave everyone behind because I am a coward. I'm sorry Auntie Mitsuki. I'm sorry Uncle Masaru.
Just one more step, and he'll be free…
I'M SORRY MOM!
That last thought finally got Izuku to stop, and step back from the edge of the roof. Startled by what he was about to do, he plopped down on his knees, and Izuku only had one question to ask himself.
"What...what was I about to do?"
He was gonna do it. He really was about to go through with that. He was about to cross a path he would never walk back from.
I was about to kill myself. I was going to kill myself.
Izuku just vomited and cried. He felt sick, sick of many things. He felt sick of himself, his life, everything, but he felt especially sick for what he was about to do. He felt disgusted, disgusted towards himself for even thinking about doing that, for even attempting to follow Bakugou's "advice".
He finally calmed down, picked himself up, wiped his tears off of his face and began to walk through the door to get back down to ground level, still feeling sick and depressed. When he finally got down to the street, he saw an explosion in the sky, a couple of streets away. He just assumed that it was a villain fight. He began to get excited about it, but then, he remembered what All Might told him. "I'm...I'm just gonna go home."
He began to mindlessly walk around, thinking about everything that had happened to him, sending himself deeper into a depressive spiral full of misery. He felt like he was about to break down again. But before he could cry again, he heard an explosion coming from the street next to him. "I guess I subconsciously walked here."
Izuku decided to take a look. There were a bunch of fires, debris and trash all over the place. There were four pro heroes on the scene: Kamui Woods, Mt Lady, Death Arms, Backdraft. For some reason, they weren't doing anything, and they were using excuses such as "We need somebody with a quirk better suited for this situation!". They had the quirks suited for this situation! The only one he couldn't blame was Mt Lady because of her quirk, which allows her to grow to tremendous heights. If she tried to get in here and do anything, she would have caused more destruction, and some rubble from a collapsing building may have fallen on some bystanders, due to how narrow this street was. This made Izuku grit his teeth in frustration. As Izuku looked closer, he saw the villain that caused all of this mess, the very same villain that attacked him, the one All Might caught earlier. He remembered that after All Might caught him, he put the villain inside a big bottle, a bottle that wasn't there when they landed on that building. That made Izuku come to a horrifying, gut wrenching conclusion.
Oh no! This is all my fault! If I hadn't gotten on All Might's leg, that villain wouldn't have escaped, that villain wouldn't be here right now!
While Izuku was blaming himself, he decided to take a look at the hostage to see who it was. When he saw it was, he immediately went wide eyed. And he honestly didn't know whether to feel happy because this might be karma, or worry because of the fact that person may die. The reason why he is having such a reaction...is because the hostage is Bakugou of all people, and of course, his quirk is the reason for the fires.
Bakugou was covered in sludge due to the Sludge Villain. Not only that, but the villain is doing the same thing that it did to Izuku, to Bakugou, shoving his sludge into Bakugou's body through his nose and his mouth, suffocating him. And Bakugou's eyes had something in them that Izuku thought he would never see: fear. The fear of dying. The fear of death. After seeing the fear in his eyes, Izuku knew what to do. Without any hesitation, he ran through the heroes and onto the street, with only one thought one his mind.
What am I doing?!
As Izuku was running, Bakugou noticed him, asking himself why Izuku was even there in the first place. Unfortunately, he wasn't the only one who noticed Izuku, as the Sludge Villain recognized him as the boy whose body he tried to take over earlier before All Might stopped him. At first, he was furious, but now? Well…
"Well look at who it is! It's the meat suit I tried to take over earlier! Sorry, but I think I found a far better meat suit, one that I can use to get revenge on All Might!" The villain boasted, thinking he could use Bakugou to defeat All Might, for some reason. Izuku would have probably laughed from the sheer absurdity of it if the possibility of his death weren't there. But what the villain didn't expect was Izuku taking off his backpack and chucking it at the villain, hitting his eye, which caused the villain to screech in pain, which also meant that he was distracted. Since the villain was distracted, Izuku took this chance to get to Bakugou, pulling off the sludge covering his nose and mouth before he began to try to pull Bakugou out.
"Deku, what the hell do you think you're doing?! Get away!" Bakugou yelled out. But Izuku didn't do as he said. He kept trying to pull the sludge off of Bakugou to get him out of there, focusing solely on that. But as he finally got the sludge off of Bakugou, the Sludge Villain finally recovered.
"You little brat! Like hell I'm letting you get away with this!" The Sludge Villain yelled out as he began to raise some sludge up in the air, to crush the two boys. But the attack never came, and instead, they just heard a boom. Opening their eyes to see how they weren't dead, Izuku and Bakugou saw a familiar tall man towering above them.
"Heh, look at me. Here I was, lecturing you about heroics, but it seems I couldn't even live up to my own words. I'm truly pathetic."
"All Might?!" Izuku shouted. Izuku stood there, wide eyed, and confused on what to feel. On one hand, he is happy that All Might saved him and Bakugou. But on the other hand, he couldn't help but feel anger and distaste towards the number one hero, his former idol, for what had happened earlier. It was then that the Sludge Villain finally recovered, and realized who was there right in front of him.
"All Might?! Not you again!" The Sludge Villain screamed as he moved to attack All Might. But in the end, it was all futile. All Might just threw a single punch at the villain, which resulted in the villain being splattered all over the street and the weather being changed, which left many of the onlookers in awe at the feat.
The police finally arrived and began gathering the many pieces of the Sludge Villain that were all over the street. While that was happening, Izuku and Bakugou were immediately checked on by the paramedics. After that was over, Bakugou was swarmed by a bunch of people, and few heroes, being congratulated for his so-called bravery and praised for his great quirk. Meanwhile, Izuku was being scolded by Death Arms, Kamui Woods, and Backdraft for his so-called stupidity while Mt Lady was watching the whole thing unfold with a contemplative expression on her face, trying to figure out what to do here. While she wanted to scold him as well because what he did was reckless, especially because of the fact that he is quirkless, but a part of her thought that was hypocritical since she and her fellow heroes didn't really do anything.
"What the hell were you thinking?! You could have died back there!" Death Arms yelled with an angry look on his face. And without Izuku knowing, Bakugou was glaring at him, past all of the people swarming him, trying to give him their agency cards. Bakugou was seething. He couldn't believe that he was saved by the useless Deku. No, he refused to believe that he of all people was saved by that worthless bastard. Just thinking about it pissed him off to great lengths and beyond.
While the heroes were scolding Izuku, Izuku was getting more upset. It wasn't as bad as when All Might crushed his dream, but it was still horrible. The scolding got worse after they found out that he is quirkless. He was getting pissed. He wanted nothing more than to tell Death Arms, Kamui Woods, and Backdraft to screw off, and how they seemed incapable of doing their jobs as heroes, but he kept his mouth shut and the anger in so it wouldn't escalate any further, just like he always does. Izuku was surprised that Mt Lady didn't say anything during the whole thing, but he could tell from the expression on her face that she was trying to figure out what to do, to decide what to do, but couldn't.
After looking around for a bit, Izuku finally found his backpack, over where the Sludge Villain used to be. He walked towards it, putting all of his pencils and books that spilled out back into it, zipped it up, and put it on his back. As he was walking away, he heard footsteps behind him. He turned around to see who it was, only to see that it was Bakugou, his face stuck with the same usual scowl on it.
"Hey Deku! What the hell did you think you were doing, you quirkless bastard?!" Bakugou shouted, gaining the attention of everyone who was there, including the heroes and the news team, who were broadcasting the whole thing live. What the two boys didn't know was that their parents were watching the news, seeing this situation unfold. As soon as everyone heard what Bakugou said, they began murmuring to themselves, and it didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what they were talking about.
"Can you please just leave me alone Kacchan? I just want to get home." Izuku said, trying so hard to keep the anger in. But knowing Bakugou, he wasn't going to leave him alone.
"No! I'm not gonna leave you alone you damn reject! Always looking down on me...always acting like you are so much better than me!" Bakugou screeched. Izuku was just confused. Since when has he ever acted like he was ever better than Bakugou? He never acted like he was better than him. In fact, it was the opposite. It was always the opposite.
"But guess what?! I didn't need your fucking help and I never will! You didn't help with anything! So stop looking down on me! You're just a weak and worthless Deku!" Bakugou yelled, and everyone heard it. Izuku was shaking and gritting his teeth, trying to keep everything in check, but was failing. He was slipping. Every other day, he would have been able to hold in his rage, but with everything that had happened today, it was just getting harder and harder. He's finally had it with this Bakugou.
The heroes that were on the scene were about to stop this before it escalated, but were stopped in their tracks when they saw Izuku punch Bakugou in his face, knocking him down to the ground. It wasn't just the heroes who stopped what they were doing. The bystanders were watching this as if they were hawks, even recording this on their phones. Everyone from Aldera who was watching this now had their jaws on the floor at the sight of Izuku, the quirkless weakling, punching Bakugou, the toughest kid at their school. But no one was more shocked than the boys parents themselves. Mitsuki and Masaru Bakugou knew that something like this was going to happen to their son one day, but they didn't think that Izuku was going to be the one to do this.
Inko knew that her son was getting bullied, but she didn't think Mitsuki's kid would bully him. Now, she sees how wrong she was. And about Izuku hitting Bakugou? Inko felt motherly pride, seeing her son defend himself. She could only try to think about how Mitsuki would react to this, or if she knew that Katsuki was bullying Izuku. Either way, she is gonna find out the next time they hang out.
There was also a certain someone, a girl at home who couldn't believe what she was seeing. Her old friend from when she was a little girl finally standing up to his bully. She couldn't help but feel proud of Izuku, because he was finally showing a backbone that she always knew that he had deep down.
After all of these years, Izuku has finally had enough and actually punched Bakugou right in the face. Something that he has been wanting to punch for a really long time. His knuckles were still stinging from punching Bakugou, and not that he was a masochist or anything, but it felt great. He wanted to do it again!
At the moment, the only thing that Izuku felt was just rage. Pure seething rage. He didn't even bother to ask Bakugou if he was okay or to say sorry for what he did, because he wasn't sorry at all. In fact, he felt great, in a rage filled way. He has suffered from Bakugou's bullying for years, and this was the final straw. Izuku just glared down at Bakugou, who looked up at him from the ground, lying down on his back, with blood trailing down from his nose. And then, Izuku opened his mouth to speak.
"First of all, I was saving your life! And I risked my own life to do it! And this is how you thank me?! Calling me worthless?! Saying I didn't help with anything?! If I hadn't ran in there and got that sludge off of your mouth and nose when I did, you would have suffocated to death! I still risked my life to save you, even after what you said to me this morning!" Izuku yelled down at Bakugou, with so much anger and venom in his voice, that it even made Bakugou a little scared.
"Second of all, looking down on you? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! It was always the opposite! You were the person that I always looked up to, someone that I respected, someone that I always knew was gonna be a hero! I still treated you like a person, while everyone treated you like a king because of your quirk! In fact, that's the only reason those two idiots who follow you around and the teachers care about you! They only care about your quirk! And how did you repay my kindness, the kindness I've had towards you for most of my life? You didn't! Instead, you bullied me for most of my life! All because I'm quirkless! All because I don't have a quirk, a genetic tool like most people have! You are the one who always looked down on me!" Izuku said, jabbing his thumb towards himself when he said that last bit, eyes filled with nothing but fury.
"I...I can't believe I'm saying this Kacch-no, Katsuki. But this whole thing made me realize something, something I have been trying to bury deep within myself for years." Izuku braced himself, getting ready for what he was about to say. The reason for this is because he is about to say something that is so big, so massive that he will never be able to come back from it. Something he thought he would never say.
"I hate you."
Izuku finally said it, something he has been trying to hide from himself for years, but he couldn't take it anymore. Tears were spilling from his eyes, a result of a long held secret that was buried deep being revealed. And he had more to say, a lot more. The people who knew Izuku couldn't believe their ears. None more than Bakugou. To say they were shocked would be an understatement.
"You are nothing but a self absorbed, hero wannabe bully. You say you're gonna be the number one hero, but you act more like a villain instead of a hero. You constantly bully everyone that you deem to be weaker than you, just because you see their quirks as weak. Not only are you a bully, a borderline villain and a hypocrite, but a quirkist piece of garbage as well." Izuku said, still glaring down at Bakugou, not showing a hint of backing down.
"Like I said, I hate you. I can't stand you. I completely and utterly loathe you, from the bottom of my heart, from the very core of my soul, with every fiber of my being. You are nothing but a malicious, spoiled, scummy piece of garbage. You are a demon, no...more like a devil." And Izuku completely meant every single word he said. This is how he truly feels about Bakugou. He meant every word and he felt great, like he can finally breathe easier now.
"Are you just going to lay down there all day, or are you gonna get up?" Izuku asked Bakugou. As soon as Izuku said that, Bakugou began to get up, with the pure expression of shock plastered all over his face. Bakugou knew that the nerd probably felt that way towards him, and he didn't really care, but he was still shocked. He was shocked because he actually heard it come out of the nerd's mouth. Once Bakugou was fully standing, Izuku walked beside him, and whispered in his ear "The reason why I didn't say anything about you suicide baiting me is because I want to give you just one chance. One. You either straighten your shit up, or that piece of information is gonna go public. Tell me, do you really think that U.A would ever accept you if word about that ever got out? Either way, you don't have to worry about me following you around anymore. I'm done with you."
At that moment, Bakugou felt like his future was barely hanging onto a thread, just barely. Izuku was still far from satisfied. He still wanted to hurt Bakugou, to hurt him even more. But there was another reason why he didn't bring up the suicide baiting. He didn't want Auntie Mitsuki or Uncle Masaru to tear themselves apart over this, over their son being a monster in human form. They were probably already doing that right now, but the suicide baiting would be the final nail in the coffin. He didn't want them to punish themselves over Bakugou's mistakes, over his sins. As Izuku was walking away, something began to happen. Right then and there, reality itself began to shift and warp, and then a blportal opened up, and began sucking Izuku in. Izuku managed to grab a pole, and began to hold on for dear life.
"AHHHHHHHHHH!" Izuku screamed as loud as he could to get someone's attention, preferably the heroes that were still there. His screaming managed to get the attention of everyone who was still present, and the news team, who was still broadcasting for some reason. Izuku's fingers began slipping off of the pole, much to his horror. As he was hanging on, Izuku saw someone charging towards him, and he couldn't believe his eyes when he saw Bakugou of all people, blasting his way towards him with a worried and fearful expression on his face, something Izuku hasn't seen in a long time. Bakugou was almost there, until Izuku's hands slipped completely off of the pole, and was sucked into the portal, his hand still outstretched towards Bakugou.
After Izuku was sucked into the portal, it closed itself. Once it was closed, it looked like nothing was ever there, like nothing there was ever open, and there was no sign of Izuku. Izuku had completely vanished without a single trace.
Izuku seeing Bakugou's worried expression will be the last thing he will see of his original universe for a really long time.
Izuku was sucked through the portal, and of course, ended up somewhere else. However, he doesn't know where he is. He thinks he is in some kind of lab, and the hint for this is the fact that a lot of people in white lab coats are looking right at him, not to mention all of the equipment that he sees on a bunch of tables. He was honestly freaking out because, well, he was taken from his home. And then one of the scientists came up to him. He was male, looked foreign, had brown shaggy hair, and wore glasses. He looked like he was in his mid 30's at least. And his white lab coat has the letters UAC on it. He never heard of any organization or company called "UAC" before. Maybe they are new or something? Izuku was broken out of his thoughts when the man spoke to him in English, which he understood.
"Hello. I don't know if you can understand me, but my name is Steven Edwards and I have some questions for you. What is your name, what year is it, and how does it feel to be in another universe?"
Hey! It's been a while! I know, this isn't Re:Persona or Romantic Doubts Romantic Gain, which is now gone from and I will explain why, but this is a new fic that I am working on. Yes, I know. There is plenty of Doom Slayer Izuku fics, but there is something different that I am going to try with this one, something that you might be seeing next chapter. I know that there is going to be someone that is going to ask me "Hey Slayer, who is going to be Izuku's love interest? Is it going to be that mystery girl?" and this is my answer. I'm thinking it is going to be Setsuna, and yes, the mystery girl is her. But, there is the possibility that this might be a harem story. I am still thinking on how to proceed with this. And yes, I do like Izuku x Setsuna. You might not be able to guess that, since most of the stories that I follow in the MHA fandom is Izujirou stuff, but yeah. The reason why you don't see many(Or any) Izuku x Setsuna fics in my follows is because there isn't many, and they aren't finished, so I go to AO3, where there is a bunch of IzuSetsu fics that are being continued.
Now, onto Romantic Doubts Romantic Gain. The reason that is gone is because someone reported it, and it was taken down. I find that really fucking stupid because we still have fics like Re:Sex and Subaru's Isekai Dream still up. Someone also told me it could have been a very salty EmiSuba(Subaru x Emilia) shipper, which has also happened to some fics on here. So, I posted RDRG on AO3. And that is where I will be posting any smut that I make in the future. I am thinking of doing a Subaru x Crusch smut one shot at some point.
Now, for Re:Persona. I am so very sorry for not uploading chapter 3 yet(And yes, I know that someone is gonna say "Look! Re:Persona chapter 3 is the new chapter 15 of WHDAAA!". In case no one got the joke, basically Re:Persona chapter 3 has been delayed like WHDAAA chapter 15, and yes, I like WHDAAA, I am apart of Reactionist's server, and I like and respect Reactionist. He's a great dude and I genuinely mean that.). I have been having some mental trouble. But that is not the only reason. I think I already said this before, but I am basing Re:Persona off of my own Persona 5 save. My PS4 broke. The power supply fried and it turned into a goddamned vape machine. Luckily now, I have a new PS4 Pro, but that is not all. I bought Persona 5 Royal, and I will be adding in the additional shit from that game. Does this mean that Subaru's love interest will be Sumire instead of Ann? Hell no! I am still keeping Ann as the love interest. But chapter 3 will be coming soon!
I hope you enjoy this fic, and I will be making chapter 2 of this soon!
