"It has been quite some time since I have last been here." VEGA aka The Father said to himself as he step foo-I mean tentacle onto the Ingmore Sanctum, the place where his life sphere once was, where Davoth's life sphere was once, and now where the Slayer lies in his sarcophagus, waiting for the day that he will be awoken once more to continue his war against Hell. VEGA still thought fondly of the Doom Slayer despite what transpired 10 years ago when the Slayer destroyed his life sphere, and that's because he knew the Slayer had good intentions, and if it weren't for the Slayer making a copy of VEGA before he self terminated back on Mars, then he wouldn't be alive. It was thanks to the Slayer that he is alive.
How did VEGA get resurrected if his life sphere was destroyed? Well, soon after the Doom Slayer killed Davoth and was sealed inside the sarcophagus, the Maykers came to the Ingmore Sanctum under VEGA's orders, and gathered the shattered pieces of his life sphere. They went back to Urdak to begin their work on bringing back their ruler. While working to bring The Father back, they found another resource to use to save themselves and Urdak instead of having to have innocents slaughtered and then having their souls turned into Argent Energy: Cosmic Lightning. The fabric of creation itself is always producing this stuff so how the Khan Mayker never thought of this, no one knew.
What happened to Samur? Well, after he went through the transfiguration, he ended up losing his mind in the process, becoming a shell of his former self. VEGA had no choice but to issue the kill order for Samur. He was already going to have Samur punished for the crimes he has committed as Samuel Hayden, for the atrocities he has committed. In fact, the Hell invasion of Universe 1456(The universe Doom Eternal is in) was his fault to begin with. He is the one who thought using energy from Hell itself was a good idea to begin with. If he had never done that, the Hell Invasion of that universe would have had a low chance of happening. The Father never wanted this to happen, but he has had no other choice but to punish him. The Maykers and Sentinels(The Maykers restored the alliance between themselves and the Sentinel people and helped them rebuild, with Valen as the new warrior king, something that King Novik agreed with.) tracked down Samur and put him out of his misery. After that is when the Maykers moved onto their next project: helping the Doom Slayer.
Back on Mars, Samur under the name Samuel Hayden had ordered VEGA to self terminate himself to aid in the Slayer in getting back to Hell to end the Hell Invasion. But before VEGA was terminated, the Doom Slayer made a copy of him, saving his life. VEGA still didn't know whether the Slayer saved him out of kindness or so he could help him in his future adventures but either way, he was grateful towards the legendary Slayer and wanted to repay him, and he's going to save him.
The Divinity Machine that gave the Doom Slayer his powers was being powered by Davoth's left over energy. When the Slayer killed Davoth at the top of Ingmore Sanctum, Davoth's power died with him, causing the Slayer's very own powers to die out, which he began to die from. When the Slayer was dying from the power loss, VEGA had the Maykers put him in the sarcophagus to save his life, and he was going to stay in there until they figured out a way to save his life. The sarcophagus wasn't a prison. It is more like life support for the Slayer. It is literally the only thing that is keeping him alive right now.
After doing a scan on the Doom Slayer, it was revealed that not all of Davoth's power died. There was still a little bit dwelling inside of the Slayer's soul, and with this news, VEGA figured out how to save him. If they could find a way to expand the remaining bit of Davoth's power to levels that were at least half of what it once was, then it should allow the Slayer to not only stay alive, but have at least half of his strength and power back. That's when the Maykers made a new bit of magic called Divinity Expansion. It was only a one time thing, due to all of the magic and resources that were needed to make this spell, and there was only a limit to how much Divinity Energy could be expanded and it depended on the person that it is supposed to be casted on. This spell could possibly kill whoever it is casted upon, unless their will is strong enough. But Vega had no worries concerning that, since he had seen the Slayer's will and determination first hand after all. VEGA even slipped in something extra for the Slayer.
Eventually, VEGA reached the sarcophagus that was still being watched over by the other gods that reside there. He had the sarcophagus lifted up using nothing by holy energy, facing towards him vertically with the bottom of it touching the sand like ground of the Sanctum, showing him the symbol of the beast. Once that was done, he touched the symbol, and the slab lifted up, revealing a very well built man in green armor wearing a helmet, with that very same symbol at the top. VEGA stood there, looking at the man, thinking of how he would react, what he would do.
After that, VEGA began to cast the spell on the Slayer, covering him in a bright light that could be seen from miles away. After five seconds, the Doom Slayer began to stir, and in one abrupt movement, opened his eyes really fast, looking around. He reached for the sides of the sarcophagus, gripping it tight, and slowly pulled himself out. His left leg was out on the ground first, with his right leg following behind, now with both feet touching the ground. As soon as the Slayer got out of his sarcophagus, he was in a bit of a daze, feeling a bit weird.
The Doom Slayer was trying to think, trying to remember what had happened to him. That is when the memories came flooding back into his rage and sorrow filled mind. The memories of wanting to be a hero just like his former idol, being diagnosed as quirkless-God he hates that word so much, being bullied by that explosive piece of shit that he used to call his friend and his two pathetic humanoid dogs, being told to go kill himself by said explosive piece of shit, being told by his idol that he couldn't be a hero because of his quirkless status, being sucked out of his universe and into another one, and then the rest...the pain and sorrow, the hatred.
The Doom Slayer sensed a powerful presence in front of himself. It was weird because he could swear he has never felt this presence before, but at the same time, it feels familiar to him for some reason that he cannot begin to fathom. He looked up to see who this mysterious yet familiar being is. What he saw was a being that looked similar to the Mayker's except it was different in size. This being was taller than the Khan Mayker, but not as big as a titan either. He could only describe this being as being taller than a small building. It looked similar to Samur, except for the fact that it had blue eyes that were glowing. The Slayer was still trying to think, but then it spoke.
"Do you not recognize me, Slayer?" This being asked while looking down at the Slayer, looking calm. It was then the Slayer realized why this being felt familiar to him. Is that...? No way. That's not possible. He shouldn't have a body! I destroyed his life sphere! VEGA...Or I should say, The Father.
"So you do recognize me. That's nice. Also, the Maykers found another way to physically bring me back." VEGA said. What? Could he have heard me mumble that? No, now that is actually impossible. My vocal cords have been shredded due to me screaming for so long. Hell, I even chose not to heal them when I could have.
"Yes, you're right. Your vocal cords were destroyed, but I healed them. You are welcome for that by the way." VEGA said to the Slayer. The Doom Slayer cursed his mumble habit while clenching his fists. It was a habit he never kicked, despite how many years have passed.
There was a reason why he chose to never heal his vocal cords. He thought talking would be a waste of time. Not only that, but he thought that if he did heal his vocal cords, he wouldn't stop screaming about guts or killing demons, if the trauma and the fact he did that when he first arrived at Exulta. The Doom Slayer could destroy his vocal cords again. He could scream extremely loud for as long as he could. He has the trauma and rage to back it up. But then again, a part of him thought it would be nice to talk again. The feeling of having actual words coming out of his mouth, the mouth that hasn't uttered a single word for thousands upon thousands of years except to just manage to say a simple "No." to Davoth after stabbing him through the chest with his Doom Blade.
He knows that this isn't heroic and feels like something his former childhood friend would want, but the Slayer wishes he could relive that moment for as long as he wants. He absolutely hated Davoth with every fiber of his being. That bastard killed God knows how many innocent people. And for what? Just for some revenge plan. He enjoyed beating the Dark Lord to a bloody pulp. He enjoyed the feeling of sticking his Doom Blade through Davoth's chest, watching him grunt in pain and agony, and tasting death, the very same thing that so many innocent people have suffered through because of him. He enjoyed making him suffer. After reliving that moment in his head, Doom Slayer started thinking about something else, a question he had for the being in front of him.
"Why? Why did you bring me back? Is it another invasion or is it something else?" Doom Slayer asked VEGA, genuinely confused about all of...this. He didn't expect to be let out, especially by VEGA, unless something major was happening. VEGA thought for a moment, thinking about what to say before he answered.
"Because I wanted to repay you." VEGA said, his voice full of sincerity.
"Wait, what?" The Doom Slayer was now definitely confused. Repay him?
"Before I continue any further, please take off your helmet." VEGA said, still looking down at the Slayer below him, still looking as calm as he had since this conversation had started. The Doom Slayer stared at VEGA, trying to figure out his motives, to see what game he was trying to play.
"Why?"
"Because I want to talk to the man underneath. I want to talk to Izuku Midoriya."
The Doom Slayer widened his eyes in response to that name. He hadn't heard anyone say that name for thousands of years. It felt so familiar and yet so foreign to him. He lifted both of his hands towards the sides of his helmet, gripping it and pulling it off his head. As he pulled off his helmet, long and fluffy forest green hair began to show. He was still holding his helmet with his right hand.
He had big green tired looking eyes, long and fluffy forest green hair, freckles, and a very rough looking face. This is Izuku Midoriya, and it is a far cry from how he used to be, an optimistic, hero hopeful. Now, while he still has his kindness and compassion, it has all been shoved down by all of the rage and sorrow that he has experienced throughout his massive life span. His one man war on Hell and it's demons has taken a heavy toll on him, mentally and emotionally. He can barely remember the last time he was actually happy before killing Davoth, the last time he actually acted like himself, or maybe this is who he was all along deep down, he doesn't know.
One of the only things that is still the same about him after all of these years is this: his hatred for himself. He has always felt a deep hatred for himself, even before he got isekai'd. Izuku hates himself because of how he let Bakugou treat him and the fact that he finally grew a backbone on the same day that he was sucked out of his universe into the one that he called home for years, and he hates himself because of his own failures, failures that led to the deaths of the people that he called family and friends, not to mention the innocents as well. The only things that he hates more than himself is Hell and it's demons. But right now isn't the time to be thinking about his self loathing.
"You were talking about repaying me. Why and how?" Izuku now said while crossing his arms, curious about where this might be going.
"You are the reason why I am alive. Don't you remember back on Mars, when you made a copy of myself before I self terminated?" VEGA said.
"Yes, of course I remember that. But how are you even here right now? I know I smashed your life sphere, so this should be impossible. And why would you still want to repay me even after doing that?" Izuku said, getting more and more confused. Does VEGA have brain damage or dementia or something? Can Maykers even get those? He has no idea, and right now, that is irrelevant.
VEGA began to explain how he was brought back, and why he wasn't even mad at Izuku for what he did, because in the end, it helped out a lot. He also explained why he wants to repay Izuku. If it wasn't for Izuku, the multiverse would have been plunged in eternal darkness.
"Okay, so how are you going to repay me?" Izuku asked, curious about the reward. Sure, he didn't launch a one man war on Hell for thousands of years for any kind of reward, but he wanted to see what someone that is essentially a god can offer him.
"You were dying." VEGA grimly said, and what he said caught Izuku off guard.
"I was dying? How?" Izuku said, wanting to know what could have possibly been killing him, which is extremely hard to do. He isn't known as one of the most dangerous beings ever in existence for nothing.
"Do you remember how you felt weak after killing Davoth?" To which, Izuku nodded. He remembers collapsing after killing him. He thought that was just simply fatigue, until he realized that he couldn't get tired, thanks to what the Divinity Machine did to him. That is when he realized that something went wrong with him.
"The Divinity Machine that empowered you was being powered by one of Davoth's energy shards. Your power was essentially from him. And so, when you killed him..."
"His power went with him, which means that my power went with him." Izuku came to the conclusion.
"Correct. Since the power became a part of you, when it was taken, it was as if a piece of your body, your very being was taken from you, which was killing you. We put you back into the sarcophagus to save your life. Think of the sarcophagus as some kind of life support." VEGA informed Izuku, while Izuku was just getting more questions than answers, questions that he wanted answers to and it was irritating him.
"But I'm out of it, and still kicking. Does this mean you found some kind of way to save my life?" Izuku said with indifference. It wasn't like he cared or anything. He had nothing to live for, no one to live for. Everyone he has known and loved, everyone that he has ever called family and friend are dead. It has been thousands of years after all. He wouldn't mind even seeing Katsuki again, just to see a familiar face.
"Yes. It is a spell that me and the Maykers came up with. We did a scan on you, and found that not all of Davoth's power was taken from you as there was still a tiny bit of it left in your soul. This spell allowed us to expand the power that was still within you, back to half of what it once was."
"So that's why I don't feel as strong and powerful as I usually do." Izuku said while moving his arms around, stretching them while getting used to the new feeling in his body. Well, not exactly new, just the amount of the power that he has left. As soon as he woke up and got out of the sarcophagus, he felt strange and now he knew why. At least he still has enough strength and power to fight if he has to. He has fought and killed demons way before he ever got his powers from the Divinity Machine. Hell, he even killed the Icon of Sin before getting his powers. Even without his powers, he could still kick demon ass.
"I may have slipped in something else." VEGA said in a surprisingly shy voice, with his index finger pointed up, and then curled as he finished the sentence.
"Such as?" Izuku asked, wanting to know what the hell this guy did to him.
"Not only did I do what I said I did, but...well, you should see for yourself." VEGA said. And then, a mirror appeared in his hand, and began facing it towards Izuku. Izuku was shocked at what he was seeing. Of course, it was him in the reflection, but that is not what shocked him. What shocked him is the fact that he looks younger, like he did when he was still in his teen years. He looked up at VEGA, a loss for words.
"I made you younger, eighteen years old to be exact. The age you would have been if you weren't sucked out of your universe. Also, from now on, you will be able to age. You are now mortal once more." VEGA said while looking down at Izuku. Izuku was still at a loss for words. He began to look at his hands, clenching and unclenching them, examining them.
"Why did you make me younger? Not that I'm complaining. But why aging?" Izuku said while looking up at the ancient Mayker, looking for an answer.
"You are gonna need to age if you want to be able to go back home and live a normal life, or a life that is as normal as you could get in a world full of extraordinary abilities." VEGA said in a cheery, happy tone. But this answer just slightly pissed Izuku off.
"Home? *scoffs* What home? In case you haven't noticed, I don't have a home. Not anymore." Izuku said solemnly. He wishes he could go back, he really does. But he doesn't have anything to go back to.
Izuku is pretty sure he doesn't. Everyone had to be dead, and for a long time too. There is no way his Mom, Auntie, Uncle, or Katsuki is alive unless quirks somehow evolved to where everyone no longer ages or something, which is probably impossible. Even if they were still alive, would they even recognize him? Would they even welcome him? He knew his Mom, Auntie and Uncle probably would, but definitely not Katsuki. Katsuki would probably just threaten to kill him by using his quirk to blow him to orbit.
And I would have to use every bit of restraint that I have to not blast him to bits with a blast of my own called my Super Shotgun to put him down like the demon that he is. Izuku angrily thought to himself. Yeah, it may have been thousands of years since then, but his hate for Katsuki Bakugou never calmed down, not even a tiny bit. There is nothing that piece of shit could ever do to convince Izuku to forgive him. He wouldn't be able to even get Izuku to consider forgiveness, no matter anything he could do. As far as Izuku Midoriya is concerned, Katsuki Bakugou can go to Hell, and burn forever in hellfire. Bastard.
"I'm talking about your original universe. Did you know that everyone you once knew and love there is still alive?" VEGA said.
This caught Izuku's attention. He was already paying attention to everything VEGA was saying, but this? He was questioning himself, if he had heard VEGA right. If VEGA was actually telling the truth, if he is actually right, then that means…
"I can go back home? I can see my Mom again?" Izuku asked VEGA, to which VEGA nodded, Izuku's tone sounding as if he was being given a tiny bit of hope, hope that he wants to hang onto with all of his might and not let go. He was hoping, even mentally praying that VEGA wasn't lying.
"How do I know that you are not lying to me?" Izuku asked, adding a bit of an edge in his voice. A part of him couldn't help but be a bit distrustful of the leader of the Maykers. He was lied to and fucked over by one of their past leaders, the Khan Mayker, so it would make sense for him to not blindly believe VEGA. What's to stop them from lying to him again?
"Think. Why would I go through all of this trouble to lie to you? Not only that, but why would I help you if I was going to trick you? Also, I am not ignorant or arrogant to make you an enemy of the Maykers. Even though you are weakened, I know that if you wanted to, you would try and would kill me. It would be a disastrous mistake to make an enemy out of you, Izuku Midoriya." VEGA explained to Izuku. Izuku has always been great at being observant, which means he could tell if someone was lying to him. His time in the Marines and his time in the Night Sentinels taught him that. He knew that VEGA wasn't lying to him about this. But he wanted to see this with his own eyes to believe it. "Prove it."
Hearing this, VEGA moved out of the way and began waving around his hand. A bright circular light opened up where VEGA was waving his hand. VEGA beckoned Izuku to come over for some reason, and so, he walked over to VEGA and the circular light, his heavy footsteps making a sound as he walked. He was no in front of the light, with VEGA looking down at him.
"Look" VEGA said as he moved to the side again, gesturing towards the light. Izuku began to look inside the circular light, and he began seeing things and people he never thought he would see again. It's the kind of sight that could get anyone who missed their home to be emotional.
Izuku saw a TV, with the news channel on. The news anchor, someone he recognized, rolled the footage of the portal sucking him into it, and then the portal vanishing. She began to talk about him, who he was, of course mentioning his quirklessness, his disappearance, and how today is the anniversary of his disappearance. What surprised him was the fact that she didn't seem disgusted about talking about him, not even when she mentioned his quirklessness. In fact, she actually seemed sympathetic about it. In the left hand bottom corner, Izuku saw that the date was four years after his disappearance. And then, the image inside the circular bright window showing his universe changed.
It showed Mitsuki and Masaru Bakugou, sitting in the chairs around their kitchen table talking to each other. The very same table that Izuku has fond memories of. When he and Katsuki were still friends, he would come over to their house frequently. Everytime he went to Katsuki's house, Mitsuki would cook some food for him, and not just any food either. She would cook him katsudon, his favorite, and it was just as good as how his mom made it. He would always sit around their kitchen table, and eat his katsudon with an innocent smile on his face. Of course, when Katsuki started bullying him, he stopped coming by his house. The only time he would see Mitsuki and Masaru was either when they were at his house, sometimes when he walked home from school, or when they would go out to eat with him and his mother.
"I still can't believe it's been four years." Masaru solemnly said, with a sad look etched onto his face.
"I know...I still miss him, you know." Mitsuki said while also looking depressed. Izuku never thought he would see his Auntie and Uncle depressed, and he hated it. And he hates not being able to do a damn thing about this.
"I know. I miss him too." Masaru said as he got closer to his wife, sitting next to her and putting one of his arms over her shoulders to pull her closer to him, leaning on each other. Izuku knew they would miss him, but he still couldn't believe his eyes, seeing the sight of someone actually caring about him. He couldn't help but feel a little bit warm on the inside, seeing this happening.
"I wish I knew what Katsuki was doing to him before it was too late, before it got to where it did, so I could've stopped it." Mitsuki said, with a scowl on her face. Masaru looked down at her and did what a husband should be doing for his hot tempered wife: calm her down.
"Honey, it isn't your fault. There is no way you could have known what was going on. Izuku didn't tell anyone about what was going on, and Katsuki wouldn't have told us either." Masaru said in an effort to calm down his wife, but it wasn't working.
"No! It is! I should have seen the signs! They were there all along and yet, I didn't even bother trying to figure it out! I knew Katsuki was arrogant, that he had my attitude, but I didn't think he would have done all of that to someone who was practically his brother! And all because of a stupid reason such as Izuku being quirkless, and still wanting to be a hero!" Mitsuki yelled out, tears streaming down her face. Izuku wanted nothing more than to just hop through this portal and comfort her. To tell her that it wasn't her fault. That it was his fault for not talking to her about it, for not taking up for himself sooner. That she shouldn't hate herself because of her son's sins towards him. But he couldn't. He had no idea what would happen if he tried to go through, so he reluctantly decided not to do so.
"If it is anyone's fault, it is mine as well." Masaru said while looking at Mitsuki, who still had tears leaking from her eyes. He reached for her face with his hand, and cupped her cheek, wiping away her tears with his thumb while she looked at him.
"I should have noticed it too. It's my duty as a father to watch for things like this, and yet, I didn't even notice any of it. I hate myself everyday for not noticing sooner and stopping it. What kind of father am I? What kind of Uncle am I?" Masaru said, looking down with tears of his own streaming down his face. Mitsuki began to hug him tighter, and he did the same. Just like with Mitsuki, Izuku wanted to step in and help him. He didn't deserve this, neither of them did. They aren't responsible for everything that had happened to him while growing up. They aren't responsible for the sins of that demon that they call their son. They aren't responsible for his own shortcomings.
The image began to change. It changed from the Bakugou household, to a place that is definitely familiar: his bedroom, or former bedroom. It looked exactly the same as it did on the morning of the day he was sucked out of his universe. His computer was still there, so was his hero notebooks, and his All Might posters, which he may or may not be taking down once he goes back-if he goes back.
All Might was Izuku's idol, the kind of person he used to strive to be like, his favorite hero. But that all changed when he told him that his dream of being a hero was impossible due to him being quirkless, despite one of his many mottos being "Anyone can be a hero!". Izuku still respected the man and thought that he told him what he did, and thought that All Might told him what he told him because he wanted him to stay safe, but that was before he found out how much of a hypocrite he was. His bedroom door opened up, and the person that he had missed the most walked in.
Mom? Izuku thought to himself. There she was, and she lost a lot of weight since the last time that he had seen her. He wouldn't have recognized her if it weren't for her face, and what he saw broke his heart. She had bags under her eyes, and she looked so depressed and heartbroken.
There was a picture of her holding Izuku when he was four years old, and it was right beside his computer. She walked over, picked it up, and proceeded to sit on his bed. She looked at the framed picture longingly while tearing up.
"I know it has been four years since then. I know I have said this everytime I come into this room, but I can never say it enough." Inko said, with her tears now streaming down her face, dripping on the framed picture. She looked like she was about to emotionally burst.
"I'M SORRY IZUKU! I AM SO SORRY! I should have noticed that you were suffering! I should have done something! But no, I was too stupid to even realize what was happening!" Inko shouted out, sadness and grief evident in her voice.
"This...this isn't fair! Why?! Why did it have to be you?! Why did you have to suffer! You did nothing wrong! Absolutely nothing wrong! So why?! Why did my baby boy have to be taken from me?!" Inko shouted in despair.
Izuku began to hate himself more than he already did, just by watching this, by seeing everything that he has just seen. He is the source of all of this depression and despair, and what is he doing? Just standing here, and watching it, as if it was some kind of ultra realistic reality TV show. He is just standing there and watching this all unfold while everyone he cared about grieved for him, and blame themselves for what he has suffered through.
"VEGA...what was that?" Izuku asked VEGA.
"That, Izuku, is moments that have happened recently in your universe, specifically the recent past." VEGA said, answering Izuku's question. Izuku just widened his eyes in shock, still trying to process this.
"Does this mean...I can actually go back?" Izuku uttered out, still trying to make sense of all this. Izuku hopes with all of his heart that this is true, that he can go back home. He wants to see his Mom again, he wants to see his Auntie and his Uncle again. But those are not the only things that he wants to do.
I want to become a hero! Izuku thought to himself, full of determination, the determination that he is known for. You would think that his dream of wanting to be a hero would have died out, but it hadn't. In fact, his desire is stronger than ever before. He's always wanted to be a symbol of hope to people, to inspire people to try their hardest to achieve whatever they want to do and to show them that if they work hard enough, they can achieve their dreams one day. He can be the Symbol of Hope to the innocent, and the Symbol of Fear to villains. He would be their nightmare given mortal form.
Izuku also wants to prove everyone who has ever doubted him wrong! Despite his self hatred, he knows that he is a hero. He has saved countless universes from the demons after all. But his universe doesn't know that. He will prove that the quirkless can be heroes too! He will prove that quirks aren't everything! VEGA just looked down at Izuku, and already came to a conclusion.
"You have made your choice, haven't you?"
"Yes, I have. I want to go back home. I want to see them again, and to achieve the dream I've always had, to be a hero who can inspire people and instill fear into the hearts of villains everywhere, to prove to everyone that they were wrong about me." Izuku said while looking at one of his hands and clenching it into a fist. Even if U.A or any other hero didn't accept him because of his quirklessness, he could always become a vigilante. Either way, he's going to help people.
VEGA was happy to know that Izuku wanted to go back home to live his life the way he wanted and is determined to do so. Not only was he happy about that, he was also happy about the fact that he still wanted to help people. I guess that is one of the many things about him that will never change. VEGA thought to himself. VEGA began generating Mayker energy into his hands, and opened a blue portal beside himself.
"We rebuilt The Fortress of Doom. We took the crucible and locked it up in Udrak's Artifact Storage, and of course, we have it sealed, so there is no way the demons can find their way back to Urdak. We installed a Mayker Generator, which runs on the cosmic lightning that is shot within the fabric of creation. So, you will have an unlimited power supply. Here, take this." VEGA handed Izuku some kind of white box with a huge blue button on it. Izuku came to the conclusion that this had something to do with The Fortress of Doom, considering he was talking about it before giving him the remote.
"This portal leads back to your universe. Once you step through that portal, the tracker in the remote for The Fortress of Doom will activate, teleporting the Fortress above your Earth's atmosphere. When you press the button on the remote I just gave you, it will open a portal to the fortress." VEGA said while looking at Izuku.
Izuku was happy that the fortress was able to come back with him. It was like another home to him. Not to mention that it has everything that he has gathered over his lifetime as the Doom Slayer such as the paintings, his guitars, his weapons, his armor maintenance table and tools, his soundtracks and his computer. It also has his weapons table, where he can modify his weapons and make ammo for them, including ammo for the BFG.
"Thanks." Izuku said to VEGA. It has been a while since he actually talked to someone, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have his manners. His mother did always teach him to be respectful to people who have helped him out, and VEGA has helped him a lot. He had helped him with the Hell invasion on Earth, and he had helped him as The Father, so of course he was thankful.
As soon as Izuku said his thanks, he began to walk towards the portal. He began to think how his Mother, Auntie, and Uncle would react to him, and especially everything he has been through. Is he going to tell them? Maybe? He doesn't know, but he will cross that bridge when he gets there. Right now, he just wants to go back. As he was about to step through the portal, he heard VEGA speak.
"Wait."
Izuku looked at the leader of the Maykers, wondering what more he had to tell him. What else could it be? VEGA woke Izuku back up, gave him a way to return to his original universe and to the people he once knew and loved, and he gave him back The Fortress of Doom. So what now?
"I need to give you a warning. Keep an eye out for demon activity."
Demon activity? What the hell is he talking about? There is no way...Izuku thought to himself. "What do you mean? I killed Davoth. Killing him sealed up Hell. There is no way they can get out."
"They could be making a resurgence. We were picking up some demonic energy coming from your universe a little while ago. That alone is alarming. Just keep an eye out for them."
Izuku had no idea what to think right now. Just when he thought he could live his life, that things can finally go back to normal, that he could finally be happy again, those bastards just have to fuck it up for him and everyone involved. He is still going to be living his life, trying to fulfil his dream of becoming a hero, but he is gonna be on high alert from them. He can't let them destroy and absorb his world like they did to so many others. He won't let that happen!
"I will. I'm not gonna let those bastards destroy my world." Izuku said to VEGA. He then continued what he was doing, walking towards the portal. He walked into it, finally entering his original universe, where he hasn't been for thousands of years.
"Until we meet again, Izuku Midoriya." VEGA said as he watched the portal close.
For some reason, every villain in Japan and a certain explosive bully felt a great chill go down their spine. It was as if the greatest threat to their very well being had just arrived, and unlike a certain number one hero, he won't show any mercy. Even All Might felt it, and he felt an emotion that he hasn't felt in years: Fear. Little did they know that a being had arrived in their world, someone who has finally come home, a man without any mercy for the wicked, for he will rip and tear until it is done.
I know I said I would include the backstory here for Doom Slayer Izuku, but I decided to post the chapter like it is to show that the fic isn't dead. The backstory should be next chapter. Pretty soon, I'm gonna host a vote for who the harem members are gonna be. There is gonna be 6 harem members, probably 7. I'm gonna list the Class 1-A girls, Class 1-B girls, Mei, Nejire, Melissa, and a few pro heroines. Setsuna is gonna be in there, so that's one spot. But the 6 other spots? Unknown for now. Not only that, but I'm gonna be switching around the Class 1-A and Class 1-B rosters. I'm gonna figure out who is getting the switch.
Also, I got a server up and running. If you wanna join, go ahead. Once you join, go over to roles and pick verified. Of course, also take a look at the rules. Here is the link: /sHbJRamP
