Time jump:

I sat frozen in the hospital bed. My eyes scanning everything that moved, everyone that passed by my door. My ears twitching with the smallest of noise. My hands were clamped into the sheets, holding me down. I knew I was safe for the time being here, but seeing all those white coats had me going into panic. It felt like a hand gripping on my throat, stopping the air flow from coming and going.

"Luna?" I snapped out of my trance, turning to look at Aizawa. The man sat on a chair beside my bed, arms crossed. "What's wrong?" I shook my head, jumping at the hand suddenly landing on mine. "You're safe here, no one will hurt."

'I-I know. It's just-'

"What?"

'The one who held us always wore a doctor's coat and mask.'

Aizawa nodded in understanding. "I see." The door opening caught our attention. Before I could see who it was, Aizawa was pushing the person back out of the room. I could hear low whispers, but unable to make out the words. After a few he opened the door. "Thank you doctor."

"Hello, Luna." The doctor greeted. "I am doctor Kiro. How are you feeling?" I stayed quiet. "What's wrong?"

"She hasn't spoken since we rescued her." Aizawa replied. "She does speak with her mind."

"Ahh, well that's fine." Doctor Kiro grinned. "I don't mind."

'I feel fine.' I found this so much more comfortable for me. It didn't show my insecurities or stutter due to my fears.

"That's good." He took a step closer to me, stopping at seeing the flinch. "I am just going to hear your heart beat." Giving him a nod, he proceeded to do a full exam. "Well, it appears you are fine. Just slightly underweight, so I will be mapping you out a diet to regain what you have lost."

'Okay.'

"Also take it easy for a couple of days. Nothing that will put strain or fatigue on your body."

'Okay.'

He continued to write notes down, looking over at me every so often. "There, I will hand this to the nurse so we can discharge you. Go home and rest."

I looked down at my hands, biting my lower lip. 'Home? What home?' My father sold me. My mother didn't give two shits about me. Not to mention that was all in New York. I was in Japan! 'Where was I going to go?'

"You will be staying at UA." Aizawa spoke up.

I frowned. 'UA?'

"It's a school." He explained. "Principal Nezu will explain everything."

'Okay. Thank you.' Turning back towards the entrance, I was entrance by my fear once more. 'What if he finds me? I don't even know what he looks like.' I spotted my doctor outside my window, putting his coat back on. 'Did Aizawa tell him to take it off?' Snaking a look at the man, I was surprised at finding him asleep. 'He must be very tired.' Grabbing the blanket from my bed, I carefully draped it over him. Ensuring he didn't wake up, I jumped back in bed. Using the sheet as a blanket, I went back to guarding the door. 'If he dared come back again, I won't stand down this time.' Of course I didn't last too long awake. Sleep snuck up behind me with a 4x4 to the back of the head.

Hearing a loud bang of metal had me waking up in a jump. Looking around panic began to rise in me. Where is the hospital? The hospital bed? Aizawa?! I was back on the medical table, my jailer and the doc standing over me. "This is a dream. This is a dream." I kept chanting to myself, closing my eyes.

"A dream?" The doctor laughed. "Oh you poor child. This is nothing, but a dream."

"You will never be free." My jailer laughed.

Seeing the doctor grab the scalpel. I thrashed against my restraints, not wanting to feel that pain again. "Let me go!"

"Never!" The doc growled. "You are my creation! Mine and no one else's!"

"Fuck you!"

"You hear me Luna!" He yelled. "Mine! I made you!"

"I am my own!" I growled, suddenly shifting and breaking from my restraints. "I am not yours!" I rose my paw, ready to strike.

"Luna!" I froze my paw, blinking a few times. "Luna, it's me."

The doctor slowly changed to Aizawa. He stood to the side, holding his hands up. 'Aizawa?'

"Yeah, it's me." He made a stop gesture to someone behind me. "You think you can shift back?"

'Shift?' I frowned.

Aizawa gestured to me. "I don't think the doctors were aware of caring for a lioness."

Looking down at myself I blushed. 'Sorry, can you turn around please.'

"Yeah."

Calming myself down enough to shift back, I grabbed my gown and jumped under the covers. 'Done.'

Aizawa turned around slowly, making sure I was indeed changed. Taking his seat once more, he gestured to the doctors to leave. "What happened?"

'Nightmare.' I whispered. 'Must have triggered my quirked.'

"What was the dream about?"

I shook my head. 'Don't remember.' Lies.

Aizawa's hand landed on mine, giving it a gentle squeeze. "You can tell me. You are not alone anymore."

I took in a deep breath, glancing down at his larger hand. "I was back on the table. The doctor and my jailer stood over me."

"You will never go back." Aizawa had a small growl in his voice. "I promise."

Time jump:

We stood in front of a large building. UA high to be exact. I have heard of this school before. Back in the states it was the one to beat. Back home we had something like this. Only it was called Xavier's school for the gifted. A place anyone with a quick was welcomed.

A group of people approaching us, had me takin a step back. Aizawa stopped me with a hand on my back. "Its alright. They are all teachers here."

I recognized some of them. "Heros?"

"Yes."

"Luna!" A small bear-like animal laughed. "So glad you are clear to join us. I do hope the trip wasn't too much."

Aizawa gave me a nudge. "It's fine. Speak how you wish to."

'It was fine.'

The bear was startled a bit, but played it off. "Good, good. I am Nezu, the head of the school. Aizawa will show you around and get you settled into a dorm." He began to approach me, only to stop at seeing Aizawa step forward. "Right, after you are settled, please join us in the conference room. We have some things to go over."

'Okay.' The moment they were gone, I exhaled deeply. "Wow."

"You fine to continue?" Aizawa asked.

Giving him a nod, I followed closely behind. He took me on a tour of the school. Showing me the classes to each course. By the time we reached the dorms, I had already forgotten half of what he had shown me.

"This will be your room." Aizawa pulled open the door to a bedroom.

I was amazed just by the fact that I had a bed once again. "It's perfect."

A small smile appeared on his lips. "Once you make it your own I am sure."

"Why don't you set your-" He glanced down at the small plastic bag in my hand. "Your bag on the bed and come get something to eat. We can go see Nezu once you've eaten."

I sat across from him in the large kitchen of the dorms. He had the chef prepare a quick lunch for me. A sandwich and fries, with fruit on the side. Of all the things I missed the most, it had to be fruit. Although at that moment I was worried of what was to come next. I didn't know what that bear…or was a dog? Didn't matter, I was more worried of what he was going to ask.

Aizawa noticed the the lost of discomfort and worry sketched on her face. "They will not be interrogating you."

'Will you be there with me?' I still couldn't find the courage to speak out loud.

Aizawa nodded. "If that's what you want."

'Yes please.'

"Very well."
