Epilogue
Caracas
Pedro ran as fast as he could, breaking for the dump. He could probably lose them there. He jumped a chain-link fence and ran between piles of junk.
He was tired and needed to rest. There was an old concrete pipe he could try to hide in, it was wide enough for him to not get stuck.
"Here, Rocky, Rocky, Rocky." One of Skull's enforcers banged a lead pipe into everything within reach, looking for him.
Pedro fell, face first, into a puddle of brown water. He pushed himself out of it and his hand touched something strange. His fingers closed around the disk and he picked it up out of the water to look at it. It began to glow with an orange light.
Brisbane
Kat dialed in the combination to her locker and changed out of her dance costume and into her street clothes.
Last was her necklace. It was a good luck charm that she had had for her entire life. She seldom parted with it. A purple glow began to emanate from the pendant on her necklace. It had never done that before.
Tokyo
Adam ducked into a store of trinkets. Usually, only tourists shopped in those, he wouldn't be recognized and no one would follow him in.
To kill time, he looked at whatever they had. A collection of stones in the back caught his eye, one in particular. The gray in the center was almost shining.
Yabelo
Tanya ducked behind the wheel of the truck when something in her pocket vibrated. She reached in, her fingers found the artifact. Gunfire rang out all around her, people yelled incomprehensibly. Tanya ignored it all, she was transfixed by the object in her hands. It began glowing with a bright white light.

I do have an idea for Tanya becoming the White Ranger and fighting Dark Specter. I'd play with themes of light and dark, how both can be good and bad (Tanya hiding in the dark and flashlights cutting through, searching for her), and having to resolve that within herself. All that while she becomes a ranger with no backup and no idea how to use her powers. Let me know if you're interested.
