Chapter 2: Carrie Gets Angry
(At Westover Doctor's Hospital…)
Carrie Had been rushed straight to hospital, while still unconscious from being exposed to those extremely & dangerously high amounts of Gamma Radiation. Chris and her friends were all taken to the police station for questioning, along with the threat of suspension, Prom refusal and possible Expulsion…
While in the ambulance, Rita Desjardin had not left Carrie for one second, nor taken her eye of her for a microsecond, though she was still unconscious, until they were told to wait outside until she'd been examined and awakened. Once there, the doctors who rushed Carrie in and examined her, were Sue's parents: Eleanor & Edward Snell, who were informed of what had happened to Carrie, and rushed straight into the Radiation Room, to see what kind of damage may have been done to her from Chris's revenge prank gone wrong, they even had to take a sample of Carrie's blood for testing… also reluctantly, Eleanor had had to ring Margaret to inform her of what had happened, though Eleanor had also had suspicions of Carrie's mother…
Rita was sitting in the waiting room, waiting to hear any news about Carrie, just as Sue & Tommy came in, before both sitting down next to her…
"You ok, Sue? Tommy?" Rita asked in concern.
"Not really, Miss Desjardin…" Sue replied nervously with worry and guilt. "It's just the guilt of bullying Carrie…"
"Why?" Miss Desjardin asked in worry, as Sue gave a sigh of worry.
"I asked him to take Carrie to prom instead of me… but we both realized that if he goes to Prom with Carrie just because I asked him too, it's not fair on Carrie, and besides if she found that out, that would just upset her even more, and could make her feel like I was just doing more of Chris's dirty work… I still can't even forgive myself for what happened after Gym Class the other day…" Sue explained nervously.
"Sue, we know what happened to Carrie, what you girls did to Carrie in the gym lockers was wrong… but it's done now, you can't blame yourself for everything that Chris & her friends do to Carrie… Besides, you can't blame yourself for everything Chris does..." Tommy replied, trying to keep Sue calm.
"But what can I do Tommy? No matter how many times it happens, nothing changes… what can I do to make things right for Carrie? For everyone even?" Sue said, almost about to cry…
"Hey, I know how you two feel, but I do have an idea... why don't you both take Carrie to Prom, that is if she feels up to it..." Rita suggested, as Sue & Tommy looked at each other, but couldn't deny that their feelings for Carrie, knowing of some past times they'd had caring feelings for her...
But before Sue could give her answer, Eleanor came out to inform Sue and Rita on Carrie…
"Hi Sue, Hi Tommy, Hi Rita…" Eleanor said to her daughter, Her Daughter's Boyfriend, and their Gym Teacher…
"Mom… Is… Is Carrie, ok? Is she alright?" Sue asked with urgent worry.
"Don't worry sweetheart, she's ok, we're just bringing her out now." Eleanor replied, as they saw Edward and another doctor bring Carrie out on a hospital bed, before taking her into the next room, where visitors were allowed… "Do you both want to see her sweetheart?"
"Yes mom, we want to, we need to aswell, we've got a lot make up to her for…" Sue replied, before she and Tommy quickly went in to see her…
"How have you been taking in all she's been through?" Rita asked Eleanor in concern.
"She's really been down ever since what happened in gym class… we found out that she didn't feel too keen on going to prom, after I picked up her prom dress from Margaret…" Eleanor replied, with worry for her eldest daughter's current condition…
"She's just told me she wanted Tommy to take Carrie to prom, instead of her, I did suggest that they both take Carrie to prom, if Carrie feels ok to do so… But I also wonder if she & Tommy actually have greater feelings for Carrie…" Rita explained in concern and wonder…
"I personally think the same… But I worry what Margaret may think… speaking of Margaret, I think she's not as nice as Carrie says she is… I've noticed this a lot, not just through Carrie's shy attitude and the ways she worries every time we mention her mother's name… But even Margaret's religious talks and strange expressions are really making me concerned…" Eleanor replied in explanations of concern too…
(Meanwhile, in the visiting room…)
Sue & Tommy were sitting with her father, next Carrie's bed while she was still unconscious, Sue & Tommy had explained everything they had told Rita to her father, from asking Tommy to taking Carrie to Prom, to Rita's unusual suggestion, to trying to know their true feelings towards Carrie… just as Carrie began to stir…
As Carrie began to wake up, Sue, Tommy, and Edward noticed slightly, that her eyes were glowing a Radioactive green Colour, before reverting to her normal green eye Colour…
"Carrie?" Sue said softly as Carrie came round…
"Sue? Tommy? Wha-what's happening? Where am I?" Carrie groaned in concern, as she looked around…
"You're in hospital Carrie, Chris and the others exposed you to some every highly dangerous Gamma Radiation, you were lucky to survive that amount of exposure…" Tommy replied calmly.
"Sue, Tommy & Miss Desjardin told us everything, from what we heard, that serum they gave you at the uni, may have been what saved you." Edward explained.
"Ok… where are Chris and the others?" Carrie asked with slight worry, just as Eleanor and Rita came in…
"Don't worry about them Carrie, Honey, they've been arrested and being questioned down at the police station…" Rita said as she sat on the opposite of Carrie's bed to Sue… "What happened in Gym Class was bad enough, but after what they've done now… Principal Morton may end up having to expel them all…"
Carrie was now worried again, as much as being expelled would teach all the ultras a lesson for all they had done to her since 6th Grade, she was worried that if they were expelled, they'd now have a freedom to continue bullying and hurting her, and no one could or would stop them… this caused Carrie's eyes to glow Green again…
"Don't be scared Carrie, whatever happens, they will not hurt you anymore… we will all make sure of it." Rita said reassuringly, as Carrie calmed down a bit, with her eyes reverting normal again…
Rita and Eleanor were just about to ask Carrie about her mother… But then they noticed Margaret walking down the hall, before she entered the room, with a stern face…
(Later, at the White's Residence…)
Margaret had had Carrie discharged from the hospital, where Eleanor & Edward were reluctant but complied, but that made their feelings and suspicions of Margaret more concerning… once home, Margaret had Carrie right through the front door in a state mental rage…
"You dare let those sinners try to convert you by saving you!" Margaret said sternly.
"Mama, I nearly died today…" Carrie said, trying to reason with her mother…
"You should have been given to God by now, not be converted into another Unholy Abomination like them, especially those sinning girls who are always shaming you!" Margaret said sternly again, almost shouting…
"Those girls nearly killed me, and all you care about is shaming me just as much as they do, I never sinned, they sinned, and so did you mama!" Carrie replied sternly, before realizing she had somehow retaliated verbally, this was not like her…
Margaret then yanked Carrie by her hair, before dragging her to the prayer closet, as Carrie screamed in pain, while trying to get her mother to stop and let go…
"You go in there and pray for forgiveness! You pray little girl!" Margaret yelled, as she opened the prayer closet door and threw Carrie in, before shutting it and locking the door on her…
Carrie continued screaming and shouting for her mother to let her out, when her eyes turned Radioactive green…
As Margaret learned against the prayer closet door, preventing Carrie from getting out, she then noticed Carrie's screams of sadness and crying, started turning into growls of anger, along with her voice tone sounding like it was dropping deeper… she then heard what sounded like fabrics ripping and tearing from within the closet, along with sound wood creaking… and breaking
"Carrie?" Margaret said, as the only sound she could now hear, was a low growl…
Margaret then turned, as she slowly moved her hand towards the lock on door…
*SMASH!*
The prayer closet door blasted right off into Margaret, sending her flying into the sofa in the living room opposite, breaking the sofa in half…
As Margaret pushed the door off her, as well as trying to stand up, bits of wooden door frame went flying everywhere, as the growling of something big, broke its way out of the prayer closet…
Margaret the looked up, as she was overshadowed by the shadow of a giant hulking creature like figure of a girl, as Margaret whimpered in fright, as the creature growled in rage before…
*ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAR!*
(Meanwhile, outside…)
A Crimson Red Pontiac muscle car was parked up nearly the White residence, just as Chris, her boyfriend: Billy Nolan, and his 2 friends: Jackie Talbot & Kenny Garson, heard the unknown roar coming from within the house…
"What the Fuck was that?" Chris jumped in shock.
"Probably a bear or something?" Jackie replied nervously.
"Really?" Billy said sternly. "Wait here Chris…"
Billy, Jackie & Kenny then got out, grabbed sledgehammers and a shotgun from the trunk of the car, before proceeding towards the White's house…
As they approached, Chris secretly got her phone out and started recording on her phone…
Billy was just about to smash the door down with his sledgehammer when they heard what sounded like Margaret White being attacked and beat around by large creature…
*SMASH!*
Margaret was smashed through the living room window, as she flew into the wall of the house opposite on the other side of the road, causing a neighbor's dog started barking…
*CRASH!*
Billy, Jackie, and Kenny were knocked back by large bits of house structure came flying at them… while through the dust, was the silhouette of a giant hulking female figure with extremely long hair, growling at them…
"W-W-WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?!" Jackie shouted in fright…
"WHO CARES, KILL IT!" Kenny shouted, as he grabbed the shotgun…
Billy tried to hit the creature with his sledgehammer, only for it to grab his sledgehammer, and throw him and it away further down the road…
*BANG! *
Kenny fired the shotgun at the creature, hitting it… but nothing happened… only the creature getting angrier… before a large green arm grabbed Kenny by the throat, before throwing him yards away, as he crashed into the roof of another house further down the street…
As the creature then chased after Jackie, Chris got out and hid by another house in the street, while still recording…
Jackie's scream was suddenly heard, as he flew and crashed into Billy's car, breaking the windscreen, before the creature jumped in front of the car… Jackie struggled and got off the car, just before the creature slammed its fists onto the car, as it exploded into flames…
The creature then noticed Chris, who was still recording in fright… as Chris then whimpered, as she wet herself…
The creature then revealed its face…
Chris gasped in fear, as she saw Carrie was the monster that had nearly killed her own mother Jackie and Kenny… Carrie's face, skin, eyes, and hair were multiple shades of a radioactive green, as she growled angrily at Chris, who was on the verge of crying and screaming…
Billy then roared, as he swung his sledgehammer at Carrie… but the sledgehammer just snapped in half… Before being punched and sent flying into the wall of another house…
Chris took this chance to take a photo of the monster that Carrie had become, before making a run for it…
Carrie then picked up the burning wreckage of Billy's car with her immense new strength, and threw at Chris, missing by an inch… Before Carrie gave a loud…
*ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAR!*
The roar was heard all over Chamberlain, as it echoed so loud and long…
