AN: AN: I'm so, so very fucking sorry that it's been nearly two months since I've written & published anything. I had a very bad case of writer's block. It's also been extremely fucking hot as hell where I live, so I had a really hard time concentrating on anything else other than staying cool. I should have the second, albeit shorter chapter written & published soon.
Now on with the story.

Mileena tapped her foot against the floor, her nerves almost getting the better of her. She never thought that she would go to Earthrealm, but one of her friends/allies had invited her over if she ever wanted to talk. So there she was, sitting on a couch in Cassie Cage's house, legs crossed while waiting for the blonde.
She didn't have to wait too long because not five minutes later, Cassie walked into the living room, sitting across from her with a smile pulling at her lips. That would be the second time she's visited Earthrealm. The first time was to apologize to the Cage family a few months earlier about the things she did in the past.
"Mileena, what's up? It's been a while." Cassie said, happy to see her friend. She was glad that they weren't enemies anymore. Once they really got to know each other, they actually became fast friends.
"I need to talk to someone. It's pretty personal. And before you say anything, I can't talk to my mother, Sidel until we cure her of whatever made her evil and I would converse with my sister, but she's stuck in Edenia dealing with something." Mileena replied, trying to figure out exactly how she was going to ask her question.
"I guess that makes sense. You can ask me anything. We are friends now." Cassie stated, hoping to help Mileena in any way she could.
"I need advice. Well, dating advice to be precise. See, I am what you Earthreamlers call being in love with my best friend, Tanya. I've never really had a romantic relationship before and I don't want to fuck it up because I care so much about her." Mileena explained, her heart beating fast and her face heating up with a blush at just the thought of Tanya.
"Well, since you know that you're in love with Tanya, that does make it a bit easier to tell her your true feelings. Have you thought about how you're going to tell her?" What I mean is, are you going to tell her after you eat something or while the two of you are hanging out?" Cassie explained, hoping that she could help Mileena out.
"I actually haven't thought about it that way. You do make some really good points, Cassie. And since you did just bring it up, I was thinking about just telling her, but instead of blurting it out, I need to lead up to it. I have no idea how to do that though." Mileena replied, sighing to herself. She had half a dozen ideas swirling around in her mind, but she didn't know which ones were right and which ones were not.
"Wait, I just came up with something; there' an apartment that I don't use that much anymore, but it's fully furnished and everything. You can invite Tanya over to spend the night with you. You two could have a slumber party of sorts. You could watch tv, paint each other's nails, eat junk food, and things like that." Cassie stated, with a shit-eating grin spreading across her lips. She might have just come up with the best idea ever. She was more than a little bit proud of herself.
"I've heard of slumber parties. Aren't they usually for young girls? It's not that I'm against the idea, it's that I have never been to one before. Can you give me some more information about it?" Mileena asked, wanting to know as much as she possibly could so that she and Tanya would both have a great time together.
"Of course, I can. Come on, let's go to my bedroom. That's where my PC is. We can Google it." Cassie said, reaching out, gently grasping one of Mileena's hands and she pulled her up with her. She then led her to her upstairs ber.
If anyone else had done that, Mileena would have killed that person. But Cassie was a good friend of hers. Not to mention that she had changed since was brought back to the future. She wouldn't give up their friendship for anything. That's why she went to her for advice; because she knew that she could trust her with her life. As she was led by Cassie, Mileena noticed various pictures of the Cage/Blade family. And of just Cassie and Sonya of them going on dates, also just cutesy photos of them together.
"I know there's a lot of pictures up here. I had to practically beg my mom to put them up because she was worried about people finding out that we're dating. But hardly anyone ever comes to visit besides friends and family who do know about our relationship. So mom and I are good." Cassie said, smiling to herself. She honestly couldn't be happier with her life. She was living as her true self, she was also in an amazing, beautiful relationship with her mom. The sex was the best she ever had.
"Oh, okay. I just want to say, I'm really happy for you and Sonya. You two are really cute together. So if anybody says something different, send them my way and I'll eat them. They'll probably end up giving me bad indigestion." Mileena replied, which had Cassie busted out laughing. Mileena soon joined in.
Once they both got their breathing back under control after they stopped laughing, Cassie stopped. She opened her bedroom door, walking inside. Mileena followed suit.

Mileena finished her conversation with Cassie, now knowing more about slumber parties and what goes on during them. She teleported herself back home to Outworld, where she ended up right in front of her palace. Mileena knew that Tanya should be home now too. Tanya lived with her as her right-hand woman. She did know of one place her dearest Tanya would be. Mileena smirked as she teleported herself immediately.
Mileena was now in the palace's library, where Tanya spent a lot of catching up on her reading when she wasn't busy fighting and killing. Mileena loved that about her. One of many, many things actually.
"My empress, I was worried about you. If you hadn't shown up, I would have gone to Earthrealm to look for you. But I'm glad that you're back. You went to go see Cassie Cage?" Tanya said, curious, but not nosy. She didn't want to upset Mileena.
"I did. I needed some advice concerning something that I've been thinking about for quite a while now. I also didn't want to worry you. I'm sorry if I did." Mileena replied, hoping she hadn't hurt Tanya in any way.
"There's no need to apologize. I know that you can take care of yourself. It's just that I lost you once. I can't handle losing you again. I just can't." Tanya exclaimed, her voice almost cracking, unshed tears threatening to fall from her beautiful white eyes.
"I'm not going anywhere. I'm right here. I do have some great news though. When I was in Earthrealm, Cassie told me about slumber parties. I was wondering if you wanted to join me for one. She has an apartment that she rarely uses that we can borrow. It's fully stocked and everything. If you don't want to go right now, that's fine." Mileena replied, smiling sadly. She just wanted to spend more with Tanya and finally confess her true feelings.
"That's an amazing idea. I've heard of them too, Sounds fun. Let's pack some clothes and head over there. While we're in Earthrealm, Queen Sheeva and Baraka can keep watch over Outworld for us until we get back. We can be gone for at least two to three days." Tanya stated, feeling happy for the first time in forever.
Mileena nodded, then she teleported to explain things to Sheeva and Baraka. They understood and knew what to do in case something happened. Afterwords, she teleported herself and Tanya to Cassie's apartment in Earthrealm with everything that they had packed beforehand. Mileena unlocked the door, knowing that the two of them would be having one hell of a slumber party/vacation.

AN2: And that's the end of the first chapter. As I said in the first AN of this chapter, I should be finished with the second chapter soon. I'm also going to write the third chapter of Cabin Fever as well. From now on, I'll try pace myself better so that I don't burn out & get horrible fucking writer's block.
