Hello. Name's AnbarElectrum. You probably knew that, because it's written at the top of this page. It shortens to Anbee, or it would if anyone other than me ever had occasion to write my online pen-name. ...Which they generally don't.

My primary mission is to write my fics as close to canon as possible, particularly in terms of characterisation. I don't really do much in the way of shipping fics; I write them sometimes, but usually only when I write AUs. Or Brush...sort of... Anyway, I've actually written more fanfiction than I have posted here; the thing is, most of it isn't complete and I've grown a little gun-shy of posting anything much longer than a one-shot unless I'm VERY sure that I can actually get it done in a regular, if not timely, manner. Update schedules, as you may have surmised from this, aren't exactly consistent and regular things for me. I'm sadly prone to writer's block and I'm absolutely terrible about focusing on one story at a time, which is reason number I-don't-know-I've-lost-count that I'm not a professional author.

I write for really any universe that catches my eye, and you'll largely find three kinds of stories on my account: deliberately-weird present-tense character study sorts of things, short fics that boil down to "I had an idea here it is okay bye now", and overwrought multi-chapter affairs threatening to buckle under the weight of my own ambitions and borderline-excessive punctuation. Precious few of that last kind, though. ...I'm not kidding about the present-tense thing, by the way. Seriously. If you see a fic in present tense and I wrote it, brace yourself. Those are the ones where some part of my brain has apparently decided I'm going to be ~*artful*~ and sometimes it's really good and sometimes it's...well, let's just say I'm pretty sure I've only posted the ones that turned out well and leave it at that.
